- Avni (2/5): - Terrible hotel.. won’t be back.. Paid for 3 guests but hotel staff insisted that I had to pay for extra bed at reception even though my booking stated payment made for 3rd guests. Room had horrible smell that lasted throughout the stay even though we used air fresheners, that didnt work. Toilet seat was also broken. Had to call someone to get it fixed. FYI, they charge for early check in.

- Wai Kheong (8/5): Staycation in JB again - Not the first time staying here for a one night staycation in JB. Location wise, it’s one of the better ones. Condition of establishment wise, it’s your usual JB standards, lack of maintenance and left to deteriorate.
- Ban Heng (8/5): Repeat stay - 3D2N stay in 2 bedroom apartment. It was the 3rd time we booked at Suasana. Location near to CIQ was one major factor. Reasonable pricing too.
- Max Winston (10/5): - Super lots of food options by foot!!!! Bed comfort & amenities can further enhance, no 'DND' signage provide. Hence daily cleaning was done & needed to request for 02 half size towels, which was originally placed in the room upon checking in.

The condition of the room is appalling as it appears worn out and not well-maintained, eg: the toilet seats have blue stain that cannot be removed. The corners of the toilet floor are black and we can also see the wires hanging behind the mirror in the toilet. I can only compliment on the professionalism of the staff and the location of the hotel which make up for the poorly-maintained rooms.

- Zann531 (6/5): Not Ideal for Couples Seeking Full Amenities, But Okay for a Basic Stay - We recently stayed here as a couple and found the experience to be just average. If you’re looking for a suite with a full set of amenities, this property might not meet your expectations. However, it could work for those who are okay with the basics. The room itself was spacious, but the living area was lacking—a small sofa set with no coffee table, which made it inconvenient to enjoy even light meals while watching TV. This was a letdown, especially compared to the pictures on the website, which showed a more complete setup. The kitchenette was clean and came with a microwave and a few basic items. There was an induction cooker, but no pots or pans provided, so it wasn’t really usable unless you brought your own cookware. The bathroom was neat and came with two bath towels and a floor mat. However, only basic toiletries were available—no hair conditioner, and limited bath/shampoo amenities—so we’d recommend bringing your own. The bedroom was tidy and comfortable, though we were surprised there wasn’t a TV inside, which we’ve found standard in other suites we’ve stayed at. Breakfast was served on the 33rd floor, and while the view overlooking the city and northern Singapore was lovely, the food itself was underwhelming. The spread included noodle soup, nasi lemak, porridge, salad, a bread station, and a few hot items. The egg station was a letdown, as the eggs were pre-cooked and left to sit out, so they were cold by the time guests reached them. Overall, this property may work for travelers with minimal expectations, but those looking for comfort and convenience might want to explore other options.
- sawbear1608 (8/5): Enjoyed The Stay! - I had stayed here previously and decided to stay here again recently. Although check-in was scheduled for 3 pm, the front desk assisted with an earlier check-in procedure and allowed me to store my bags until 3 pm. However, I was surprised to receive a notification after 1 pm on my mobile that the room was available. Kudo to the staff for sending me the update! I was given a 1 bedroom unit and it was very spacious and clean. I enjoyed the space and the stay was comfy. The accommodation is only less than 10mins walk from the Johore CIQ (opposite The Komtar JBCC) A good consideration in JB!

- rexyap930 (2/5): Security concern and poor management - The only thing that truly needs improvement here is the management. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in the 3-bedroom suite, and were shocked to discover some of our belongings went missing after we returned from an event. We reported the issue at around 10:30 PM, but no immediate action was taken. To make matters worse, when we followed up with the receptionist during check-out the next day, there was no record of our complaint. We were told that since it was the weekend, no management staff was available. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this scale. What’s even more disappointing is that, as of today (two days after our stay), we have yet to receive any form of follow-up or response. Is this the standard level of care and security guests should expect here? It’s truly concerning and reflects poorly on how such incidents are handled.

- 437sham (8/5): Great location and hotel serviced apartments - Clean toilet and bed...great service by the house keeping,front of desk and restaurant service...the only down side is we found 5 small cockroaches roaming around the kitchen area and dining table.. Also such a bummer they've decrease their signature Keropok portion now. It used to be a big portion last time. But nonetheless our stay has been pleasant.

Location is within 5 mins of walking from JB sentral, city square and Komtar. Perfect for SG travelers coming from Woodlands. Service by the staff is nothing short of excellent as well.

Special mention goes to Ms. Harini a frint deak staff who help me secured an warly checkin. The residence suite location is just next to Komtar JBCC and close proximity to a lot of eateries. It is also a short walking distant to City Square for those who does not drive.

- Wai Kheong (8/5): JB Staycation - Just a simple overnight in JB. Room is big by hotel standards, it’s more of a one room studio apartment. Space wise it’s comfortable, but as in all establishments in JB, property can be better maintained.

I like the sahur and the light snack given as we went there during Ramadan month. I love that it is so easy to go to Komtar and City Square to do last minute shopping.

Just right the top of zenith mall and haidilao on the first floor. The room was very spacious and clean with amenities. Aircon was cold enough and temperature was adjustable.

- Jasmine (6/5): Hotel not maintained well. - Just sharing our experience & observation. We (4pax) checked in to Suasana Suites Hotel Johor Bahru along Jalan Trus on 21/06/2024, Friday. Upon check-in, we realized that only 1 guest lift, out of the 4, is working. There was a notice at the frontdesk dated 11/06/2024, informing that all 4 guest lifts are out of order & only the service lift was available. With 1 guest lift & 1 service lift available at the point of our check-in, we took an average of 40mins to wait for either lift. 2nd guest lift was up & running on 23/06/2024. This incident had compromised our experience with the hotel. There was no effort made for service recovery. The room itself was poorly maintained. Clothes holder behind bathroom door was loose, towel rack was loose, bathroom tap fell off, kitchen tap was leaking, toilet roll holder was loose, cockroach in the living room. We stayed at Level 29, we were able to hear the music from Lepak Corner quite clearly till wee hours on Friday & Saturday. In the morning, the construction sound started as early as 8am. This is my second time here. The first time was in Aug 2023 and I had a good experience- bed was comfortable and room was clean. But I can’t say the same this time round. I will think twice about booking this hotel again.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Love the hotel but not this time round - I have stayed here multiple times and have always love the hotel. However this was the worse experience i had. Firstly the door was not functioning well. I had to change both my keycards at least 5 times over my 3 nights stay. Also when i check into the room, the tv was welcoming another guest name instead, it seem like they have just decided to swop my room. Also the shower head was set so high that i could not reach it and had to use the rain shower. I did not have these issues when i stayed in this hotel previously so i am not sure if it is this room. Just a suggestion, please install some racks in the shower for guests who would like to use their own toiletries.

There was a kitchen and a dining area as well as hall/coffee table and small balcony. Very convenient location as well.

Master room balcony sliding door has a cracked line and fingerprints. 2. Leaking stains found at master bed room ceiling, it is very weird when lying on the bed. 3. Master bed room grouting condition is not up to standard. 4. Living room toilet bowl seat cover loose. 5. Air vent grill seem like falling down. A silicone layer not fill up. 6. Ants coming out from the entrance door frame all the way till kitchen counter. 7. Living room window counter dusty and Fingerprints. (Housekeeping team have cleaned on the spot after received comment) I am happy with my stay and the fast response to the team and the room should need to do preventive maintenance.

We were unable to log in the wifi and the telephone is also not working unable to get thru the reception.. have no choice but to go down lobby to update the reception. As when we check in is quote late, so is understandable that facilities team is unable to rectify on the first night. So second day update the reception that the wifi is still not working. They quickly get technician to rectify. So overall is good.
- Rachael (2/5): Room and toilet smelly - I have stayed at Suasana Suites many times but this time I am extremely disappointed. When I checked in at 10.30pm the toilet was so smelly. It smelled like urine. Since it was a 1 bedroom apartment I couldn't ventilate it as my room will be smelly. Whole night couldn't sleep as the smell from the toilet getting stronger. When I went down at 11.15pm to tell the reception he said he will send some one but I told him I was going to get a bite so he said when I come back I inform him. When I got back there was no one at the reception counter. I thought he went to the toilet. So I called the reception when I went up but still no answer. My husband went down and said there was still no one there.. utterly disappointed.. and on top of that the WiFi not working. Very bad

- Verified traveler (2/5): Very very bad experience - Booked the 2 bedrooms suite with a king bed and 2 twin beds. But was given 1 king bed and 1 queen bed. Only changed the suite for us after we complained and insisted on the change. Beds were Dusty - felt itchy and like something biting. Poor noise insulation - can hear the vehicles at the custom horning on and off in the middle of the night. Whole family can't has a proper sleep - My girl abandoned the bed and sleep on the sofa. My son can't sleep till early in the morning. Totally defeat the purpose of staying in a hotel since you can't have a proper sleep.

We found a used towel hanging at the back of the bathroom door and also found hair on new towels folded on the racks. Finished tissue box were also not refilled and cleaning staff threw away our used toothbrush but didn't give us a new one.
