Sara (6/5): Good - The apartment is in a very central location, just a few minutes away from the train station of S.M. Novella. Very easy to walk to all of the main touristic sights. We did raise a couple of issues with the host and they were really nice about it (see other section) As a family, with a 4 year old, we ended up all sleeping in the back room, where there wasn't really enough space. The spare bed is situated right next to the main entrance, so we didn't want our daughter to sleep there for safety reasons. We tried sleeping in it for a couple of nights, but the street is very very noisy with drunk people walking past at all hours of the night (we later found out there is a club not far from there). Prefect for a couple but not for a family. Unfortunately the website doesn't allow the host to specify this.
Andrea (5/5): Great location but too small for a party of 4 - Location is great very close to Santa Maria Novella Station, in a small alley. The host before arrival gave us all correct information and was pleasant. Unfortunately, because of the size of the apartment (there were 4 of us and it was a bit crammed, as the apartment isn't bigger than 30 square metres), we couldn't move around much. I would recommend it only for 2 people.
Monique (5/5): To expensive for what you recieve - The location At night very noisy, people outside of the street drinking, no housekepping so they never went to clean while we were there.
Airan (10/5): Excellent apartment - The host contacted us sone days in advance to move us to another apartment, which was ecellent. It was in Santa Croce area. Very clean and new, with a lot of facilities. (This review then applies to that apartment and not to the Canacci one) It was only a short walk from the cathedral, with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The host was very attentive. She waited for us to arrive a little longer, gave us advice about places to go, let us check out a little longer than usual and was availailable through Whatsapp for any request. Excelent help from their part! The apartment had everything you need to have a comortable stay, including all kitchenware, and even a washing machine. Everything worked perfectly. Sometimes the tourists in the other apartments were a bit noisy during the first part of the night, but we kept the windows opened to the central patio. Nothing very annoying. The process of having to leave a deposit and paying local taxes, identification, then meeting to get the keys... it is a bit unconvenient in comparison with other places around the world where everything goes smoother in this process, but again, nothing really.annoying.and the host helped.
