- Mollie (10/5): Lovely staff and rooms, very kind and helpful - Amazing little stay at Saigon April homestay! Very kind and generous staff. Would stay again! Thank you so much.
- QIHANG (10/5): -
- Corina (10/5): - The homestay is in the middle of district 1 yet it is not noisy. None
- Aroma (7/5): Very warm house with 2 dogs taken care by grandparents . - Very warm house with 2 dogs taken care by grandparents No fan , only AC , and one of the lights didn’t work
- KUMAR (10/5): -
- THÌ LAN (10/5): Tuyệt vời - Ông bà chủ hiền lành chu đáo Tôi thích
- Henry (7/5): - Really nice staff and good value. Basic but fine. Main issue was location which isn’t great
- James (9/5): Would reccomend! - Host was lovely and even helped us get a stain out of an item of clothing! The room was spacious with good AC The bed was firm
- Nguyen (10/5): I had a good stay at this place. The owner even received my package that I ordered and shipped to her place before I arr -
- Rene (9/5): - Très confortable et agréable
- George (8/5): - Very nice man and wife. Very comfy. Very lovely Bedding lots of stains
- Phan (10/5): -
- Rosanna (9/5): Sweet and peaceful homestay - A lovely little Homestay on a quiet back street in the centre of the city that’s within walking distance to lots of great bars, restaurants, and attractions. The room was just about big enough for two people with big backpacks and the balcony gave us a lovely little extra space when needed. The family didn’t speak much English but were always smiling and friendly, even waking up to let us in after a bit of a late night. And their dogs are very docile too. Fabulous vegetarian place at the end of the alley too. Nothing, we had a lovely stay. Two things to mention. One is that as it’s a homestay, the door is locked at 11pm and any later than this you need to ring the bell to be let in. The second thing to note is that the location on Grab and other taxi apps shows it as the street over. Instead, get the taxi to Joi (the veggie restaurant at the end of the alley mentioned above) and walk up the alley.

- Guillaume (10/5): Great location and lovely owner - Clean room in a quiet street ! The owner is a lovely lady ! She doesn’t speak a lot of English but Google Translate will get you through a clear communication. We checked-in late and starving and she gave us a ride to the nearest Pho so we could have a take-away dinner ! Would definitely book here again ! None

- annonciade 512 (8/5): - Comfy bed, good ac, up à quiet alley but very close to markets, coffee olaces and restaurants cute small dogs rhat roll over for belly rubs as you come in and indoor slippers provided. Communal kitchen and shared bathroom (2 rooms). Good excercise getting to the rooms up stairs too
Preis Leistung daher unschlagbar.
- Jeniffer (10/5): Very welcoming local family and cosy / clean rooms - Very welcoming local family and cosy / clean rooms
- GRAEME (5/5): Good location - Fridge in bedroom and wide comfortable bed Shared tiny toilet/shower room and had to keep taking shoes off every time we entered the building and wear flip flops
- Sandrine (10/5): -
- djgoncie (9/5): Peaceful and Central in Ho Chi Minh City - A perfect stay! The location is very central yet surprisingly quiet. The highlights were the hosts, so kind that they even offered me a delicious fresh pomelo. A clean, authentic, and peaceful oasis in the middle of Ho Chi Minh. Highly recommended! The house has several stairs, which could be a challenge for some. However, the hosts were incredibly kind and proactively helped my parents with all their luggage, so it wasn't an issue for us at all.
- Max (10/5): -
- Olivier (9/5): - Even though not far from the main entertainment area (which I did not like - way too noisy - 15 minutes walk) the accommodation is located in a very quiet alley where a good sleep is possible. Very clean. Owner are friendly. Cheap and good laundry service near-by. I might suggest adding a bed lamp, so as not to have to fall asleep with the main lamp on.
- Lily (10/5): Great stay with a lovely host - April is such an amazing host! She met us at our Grab at 1:30 am, helped us with our bags and showed us to our room. She gave us yummy fruit and her little dogs were so cute and fun to pet. The room has everything you need. The balcony is really nice and everything was super clean and comfy. I thought the location might be a bit out of the way but it’s actually perfect. It was nice to not be in the center of the tourist area but still very close. There’s even a vegetarian restaurant right around the corner. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.
- Maruk (9/5): Comfortable and cosy - A wonderful little homestay. Our room was pristine. It was spacious and clean, fresh sheets, towels and very clean bathroom. We got the room with a private balcony which we enjoyed having. The location is tucked away in a small alley and we felt we were really living amongst locals. We love homestays because they feel personal and people put a lot of care towards their home and guests, and we definitely felt that here. They were very kind and hospitable to us and I would love to come back and stay here again. You may hear the odd occasional dog barking or locals outside, but you are living in a local neighbourhood. I still slept great!
- Fiona Arosa Fanny (7/5): -
- Chi (10/5): -
- Nikolai (10/5): Exceptional - I have stayed here three times already and it has always been a positive experience. The calm, homely atmosphere helps you relax after a long journey and the noise of the big city.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - The host was very nice, she even upgraded to our room to one with a window. The door is locked after 11pm, so if you want to go out/return home after this time, you need to ring a bell, so that she can open the door for you.
- Sunshine (10/5): Exceptional - Nice, cozy homestay in a quiet area. The room is good, but no window. There's everything you need. The bathroom is shared. The owners are nice old people. I would recommend this place.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Couldn’t recommend Saigon April Homestay highly enough! Great location, within walking distance to all the major attractions, lovely family owners and a great start to our time in Vietnam
- Sion (9/5): Superb -
- Hoàng-lê (9/5): Superb - the host is very friendly They do not put soap for handwashing in the toilet
- Lloyd (9/5): Comfortable stay in real saigon with a nice family - Nice to stay in a local area with a local family and their friendly dogs. Only a stone's throw to tourist central but far enough away to feel authentic. Comfortable bed and quiet at night. Kind hosts who appeared to be a typical extended family. Wasn't able to get a late check out on my last day. Not even an hour or twos extension was offered which has never happened before. They have a nice extra room available at the front but there's no fan there which would be good in summer.
- You (8/5): Great hosts - The hosts were very friendly and helpful, offering fruits and helping to call GrabFood driver when he got lost. The room is clean and shower is hot too. Also lovely to be around their 3 adorable dogs. The power socket was not next to the bed but on the opposite side of the room. It did not bother me but you can hear karaoke from neighbours in the evening (it stops by late night).
- Thanh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evgenia (9/5): Superb - Great location in the very centre of HCMC but a bit away from noisy party places. The room's windows overlook a narrow street, there are scooters anyway but it is far more cozy and quiet than closer to bigger streets. The hosts were super nice, so were the dogs :) Although our stay was short, we really appreciated the balcony with the hammock and spent our evenings there. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was ok. The AC desperately needs tending and cleaning, it is very dirty inside, supposedly with mould. We didn't risk using it despite really hot weather even at night. Apart from that and an impressive layer of dust on the lamp, the room was clean.
- Andréa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abhishek (8/5): Very good -
- Celia (10/5): Exceptional - Our room was really spacious and clean with a private bathroom. It was really quite, because the location of the hotel is in a calm street. Bed is very cozy. The staff is super friendly and they try to help with everything!
- Miyu (10/5): Feels like home, lovely dogs - The family are so welcoming and they took me out to see the city. Clean room, good wifi and great location(close to lots of cafes and restaurant, safe)
- Cyrus (9/5): Superb -
- Samuel (8/5): Cheap, comfortable room with some problems - Great location with lots of restaurants and bars close by. Room was mostly clean and the bed was comfortable. The family who runs the homestay is nice if a little unprofessional. The homestay is in a small, hard to reach alley which makes it hard to get in and out quickly. One a similar theme, there is no elevator in this homestay and the rooms are up a narrow staircase. This makes getting your bags to the room a real pain. My wife saw mould and ants in many parts of the room, especially the bathroom. The noise from outside is quite noticeable at all hours of the night.
- Dominika (10/5): Very pleasant stay, good location, very caring owners and lovely dogs - Nice, clean a spacious room, very caring owners, lovely dogs, great terrace with comfy hammock
- David (7/5): Good - Value for money, quiet street. The accommodation was what you would expect for that price. Host wasn’t very helpful as some others mentioned.
- Si (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joe (9/5): Superb - Really good value for the location. Cheap restaurants nearby too that were great. The family were so welcoming despite a language barrier with the parents. Very comfortable stay. Nothing
- Bart (9/5): Superb - Location
Clean
Good value for money
Hospitality the owners didn’t speak english but this wasn’t an issue for us
- Isabelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elina (10/5): Exceptional - Good location (safe, peaceful, close to attractions), lovely family, spaceous room and comfy bed,
- Joe (8/5): Very good - Everything was fine except for the fact that the accommodation does not have rooms with 3 beds. While we were assured that an arrangement would be made so that our daughter could sleep in the same room, the arrangement involved rolling out a thick quilt on the floor! Otherwise gd residential and quiet location. Hosts are kind and gave us fruit every day. Recommended for two people.
- Sophie (10/5): Perfect location for exploring Ho Chi Minh City - The family at the homestay were so friendly and kind and provided us with umbrellas when it was raining.
The room was also lovely and comfortable and a really good price. Everything was great!
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, the best place to stay in Saigon very clean, perfect location and the owners are very kind and helpful ! Nothing
- Yudy (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (8/5): Very good - Cute little homestay, fantastic location, Host(April) is a lovely lady.
- Dion (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (10/5): Lovely homestay - Cozy homestay with the friendliest Vietnamese family. Bed was super comfortable and the room was nice and clean. They lock the doors past 11 so you have to ring the bell in the middle of the night and wake up the owner to get back inside if you’re out late
- Khera (9/5): Amazing experience- very helpful hosts - The location is awesome - walking distance from almost every tourist attraction (if u like to stroll around) The room was very clean. The most important thing - The family is very sweet and helpful. We had to pay the driver in vnd but at that time we had just landed in ho chi minh and just had dollars. The family sort out the scenario with the driver and paid the amount at their end. They even lent us some VND so that we can enjoy our outing the next day. When we went out we got the dollars exchanged to vnd and returned everything back to them. Ours was a small room with shared bathroom. If you do not want something very fancy, you can surely chose this.
- Nguyen (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yuichi (8/5): Very good -
- Sylwia (8/5): Very good - Good value for money, host and the family are very kind. Located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, but in a quiet alley. For someone who is sensitive to air conditioning maybe not the best, because a stream of air flies onto the bed, no matter which position it is, it's quite common in Vietnam, because of small sizes of rooms.
- Daisy (10/5): Lovely hosts :) - The hosts were so so friendly. Bed was so so comfortable. Perfect location.
- Kristyna (10/5): Exceptional - the bed was possibly the comfiest thing i have ever slept in - thank you it was a lovely stay 💕
- Adam (9/5): Feels like home - Homestay is run by a very friendly family with two beautiful dogs and a cat. I stayed in the room with balcony and private bathroom - room was very clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Balcony is enormous. Bathroom has hot water and great water pressure. I was sick during my four days in HCMC so it was a nice space to rest in. The alley is quite tucked away, so if you are ordering grab it is best to use the cafe at the top of the alley (Joi Factory) as your pick up and drop off point. There is good food within walking distance (Banh Mi Ba Huynh and O Tinh House are both superb). The house is very secure and safe, and the hosts were so kind and friendly. The only issue was some noisy construction work happening in the next building during the daytime - I understand this is completely out of the owners control, and if I hadn’t been sick I probably wouldn’t have been home during the day to notice too much.
I felt a little guilty coming home late at night and my hosts waking up to let me in - a system where guests had their own key or passcode to enter after hours would be very helpful and make it more comfortable to come and go as you please without being a bother.
- Akimkhan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vyvy (10/5): The hosts were so so lovely! Their dogs were also super cute! -
- Femkebroers (9/5): Superb - Really nice and quiet homestay. Very friendly people and pets. Very clean! A lot of pressure in the shower and nice warm water! Good places to have breakfast in the neighbourhood. We enjoyed our stay here, thank you 🙏
- David (9/5): Super friendly homestay! - Very friendly hosts. They always welcomed us with a smile. We felt very pleasant during our stay. The city can be reached by foot easily.
- Giovanna (9/5): A good stay in a great location with lovely and helpful hosts - The room was large and comfortable and the family was really nice. I felt very welcomed. The location was great, far enough from the main tourist sites to have lots of delicious local Vietnamese places to get food from but close enough to easily walk to museums etc. It was a bit awkward having to ring the bell every time i wanted to get in to the property. Even though the family were very nice about it, I felt like I was disturbing them each time. Maybe a key or passcode system would resolve this?
- Daki (10/5): Lovely quiet and charming Homestay in the center! Slept so well - This is a hidden gem - I only stayed one night before flying out but would have loved to stay longer. The room is nice and quiet with a balcony where one can do yoga in the morning or relax in the hammock at night. The couple who runs it are super sweet. It’s in a great location and I loved the two dogs and cat living in the house.
- Thi (7/5): Good -
- Ling (8/5): Very good - The host is very pleasant and helpful The rooms are a bit old and really need redecorating
The kitchen are a bit greasy
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
