• Fanny (6/5): Die Unterkunft entspricht nicht der Beschreibung bei Booking - Das Zimmer war sauber und die Entfernung zum Petersdom nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Dame die uns das Zimmer übergeben hat und das Frühstück gemacht hat, war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Es handelt sich bei dieser Unterkunft um kein Hotel sondern um ein B&B. Dies kommt leider nicht deutlich bei Booking heraus und wurde uns erst nach Abbuchung des Preises, zwei Tage vor Anreise mitgeteilt. Weiterhin wird bei Booking hervorgehoben, dass diese Unterkunft kostenfreie Parkplätze an der Unterkunft zur Verfügung stellt. Ein Hauptgrund warum wir es überhaupt gebucht hatten. Tatsächlich hat die Unterkunft keine Parkplätze ! und man muss auf der Straße suchen. In 500m Umgebung ist alles kostenpflichtig und dauerhaft belegt. Wir mussten 700m die Straße rauf parken. In einer zwielichtigen Umgebung wo es bereits mehrere Vorfälle mit Autoaufbruch und Diebstahl gab. Leider gab es keine Parkalternative. Weiterhin ist die Umgebung der Unterkunft (ein Zimmer in einer Wohnung in einem Mehrparteienhaus) sehr verdreckt. Überall auf dem Gehweg und vor der Tür liegt Hundekot und Müll. Weiterhin ist der starke Auto-und Geschäftslärm deutlich zu hören. Den Balkon mochte man nur spät abends öffnen. Als sehr störend haben wir auch die ständigen Nachrichten des Betreibers empfunden, den wir nie persönlich kennen gelernt haben. Bereits auf der Anfahrt wurden wir mehrfach per WhatsApp gefragt wann wir denn endlich da sind. Wir hatten vorab eine Ankunftszeit angegeben und gesagt dass wir uns melden würden wenn es später wird. Trotzdem wurden wir durch drei verschiedene Nummern angeschrieben wann wir jetzt mal da sind. Als wir dann da waren, war erstmal niemand da und wir mussten warten. Obwohl wir dann alles mit der Dame vor Ort besprochen hatten, wurden wir weiterhin die Tage mit WhatsApp belagert wann wir denn auschecken und dass wir ja pünktlich auschecken müssen. Weiterhin wurden einem erklärt was man alles an Strafen zahlen muss wenn man nicht rechtzeitig ausschleckt oder der Hund sich nicht benimmt. Für alle Hundebesitzer evt auch interessant, dass der Hund nicht auf dem Zimmer bleiben darf.

It is walking distance from the Vatican- St peter's square and you can find line 62 bus just out side your door which takes you to almost anywhere you wish to go. The staff were amazing. Very friendly. I wanted to go shopping and Federico gave me directions to great shopping spots.Great guy. I felt very much at home.

• tanale (8/5): průměrné ubytování na úžasném místě - Vynikající lokalita, kousek od Vatikánu a pár kroků od zastavky autobusu, který vás odveze do centra Říma. Výborný byl i výtah a zejména balkon. Pokoj byl orientován do typicky italské dvora se sušáky na prádlo. Výhodou byl klid v noci. Kdyby byl orientován na ulici, bylo by to zlé. Majitelka byla starostlivá a často nás kontaktovala, hlavně po přistání letadla, abychom se v pořádku dostali do ubytování. Nabídla i zajištění transferu z letiště, ale protože přes booking bylo cenově výhodnější, nabídku jsme nevyužili. Snidaně tedy naprosto nevypadala jak na fotkách na booking.com. Ke snídani jsme dostali na osobu 2 plátky uzeniny (šunky, salámu), 1 plátek tvrdého sýra, kávu (černý čaj k dispozici nebyl, pouze ovocný), dle chuti pečivo (toastový chléb i sladké pečivo), 1 malinká kostička másla a nějaké džemy byly také k dispozici. V podstatě dostačující. Co nás ale zakočilo byly 2 věci. Jednak neustálá kontrola během snídaně , a to stylem bez přestávky sledování během jídla. U nás se tomu říká "koukání do úst". Jestli měli strach, že jim tam toho sníme hodně??? Ale ono tam moc navíc možno sníst nebylo!! Množství nabízeného jídla bylo přesně nadávkováno! Každopádně u nás se toto nedělá a nevím, jestli v Itálii ano. (????) Mladý chlapec , který měl jedno ráno službu, aspoň distinguovaně koukal do telefonu a ne na nás a přímo do pusy. To bylo osvěžující. Druhá věc, která mě zaskočila, byla žádost o spropitné 10 euro za možnost uložení zavazadel na 2 hodiny po checkoutu. Pokoj jsme museli opustit v 10 h a taxi přijelo až ve 12,30 h, aby nás odvezlo k odletu na letiště. Požádala jsem majitelku, zda by nám neumožnila nechat na 2 hodiny (do 12 h) zavazadla v jídelně, abychom s nimi nemuseli být na ulici. Ona nám vyhověla, ale řekla si o 10 eur spropitného pro personál. Ještě jsem se s tímto požadavkem nikdy nesetkala a cítila jsem se zaskočena. Nicméně jsem toto potřebovala, tak jsem zaplatila. Už sem ale nikdy nepojedu a budu raději volit klasické hotely, kde jsou takové služby bez příplatku. A to mi nejde o peníze, ale o chování k hostům holt v jiném duchu. Úplně jsem se styděla. Ačkoliv jsou v ubytování 3 pokoje, asi jsme byli jediní, což bylo fajn, protože byl v noci skoro vždycky klid. (Až na jednu noc). Pokud by tam byli ubytování hluční hosté, byla by to tragédie, protože pokoje nemají žádnou zvukovou izolaci.

• Mario (8/5): Dennoch ein toller Aufenthalt und eine klare Weiterempfehlung - Die Lage war sehr gut, alles fußläufig zu erreichen und eine exzellente Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich 😉 Aufgrund der kühlen Außentemperaturen, war uns das Zimmer etwas zu kalt, aber wir sind wärmebedürftiger als der Durchschnitt. Auch war uns das Bett etwas zu hart.

• Omar Yuri (3/5): Troppa insistenza - La signora Maria Luisa (che si sarebbe dovuta occupare del check in ) è stata molto insistente sia nei giorni precedenti all'arrivo che il giorno stesso,nonostante l'avessi avvisata di un ritardo , perché ricordiamo sempre che siamo in una grande città che non è la mia quindi è possibile avere difficoltà, ci ha lasciato poi un'ora ad aspettare la collega del turno successivo. La collega una ragazza giovane é stata invece molto carina. La camera era fredda e il minibar aveva solo un'acqua ma aldilà di questo il resto andava bene. Il ragazzo della colazione è stato gentile ed educato.

• David (2/5): The Rome "Scrooge" Rooms - I can honestly say this was the worse so called hotel I have stayed at for very many reasons. It is not really a hotel in the true sense of the meaning as it is a converted apartment within a block of about 15 other apartments which does not meet the object. - the so called pick up never arrived and sent a maniac driver instead. The original person has no idea of international terminals as he expected me to just wander out ignoring the fact that passport control and baggage claim actually determine time taken. - Room nothing like pictures and had dirty walls, very little light and a unclean shower. - Every thing was rationed i.e. soap, shampoo, towels, sheets and food. - Breakfast people were ok apart from one who forgot cutlery, napkins, fruit drinks and no milk for coffee. - waste of time getting a make up of the room as very little done - Says it has soundproofing but where? From my room I could hear clearly the adjoining room, the breakfast room, the corridor and the front door. - chipped and rusty radiator - no foreign TV stations at all - shower doors flimsy and come off runners - on 50% of the days there were an additional 4 persons simply standing around the breakfast room doing nothing. Trainees or what? Suggest two things firstly it is renamed the Rome Scrooge Hotel and secondly that anybody staying more than 1 night is given a ration book so they are fully aware of the meanness of the operation.
• Tomaru (10/5): - 事前のスタッフの案内が丁寧で、不安なくたどり着くことができました。フレンドリーな対応に感謝しています。 アパートにはエレベーターがありました。部屋は広く、バスルームも広さがあり使い易く、清潔で快適です。朝食も充分な用意があり、助かりました。 バチカンへのアクセスが良く、静かで落ち着いたロケーションです。私たちの滞在した部屋は、バルコニーからバチカンのクーポラが見えました。周辺のお店も美味しく、中心やテルミニへ向かうバス停はほぼ目の前にあり、スーパーマーケットも近いので、辿り着いてしまえば何かと便利な立地です！ 出国前の2泊だけでしたが、もう少し長めに滞在したかった。 テルミニからはバスやタクシーでの移動が必要で、少しだけ大変。それだけ！

• JVolar (8/5): - Vďaka tomuto ubytovaniu sme si užili magické chvíle nočného Vatikánu a Anjelského hradu, nakoľko sa nachádza 500m od Vatikánu, takže sme ani jeden z troch večerov nevynechali ich návštevu. Objekt sa nachádza v obytnom dome , na krátkodobé prespanie v pohode, s prijateľnými raňajkami. Bezplatné parkovanie je k dispozícii niekoľko metrov od ubytovania.

Zajistili nám transfer z/na letiště, poskytli lepší ceny v lokálních restauracích.

Donc du m’arranger autrement qui m’a fait perdre un temps précieux -j’ai prévenu dès mon arrivée que je ne déjeunait pas là le mercredi et le dimanche matin qui était compté dans le prix, la veille de mon départ je demande pour emporter 1 paquet biscotte et petit bouteille de jus d’orange elle me dit oui et quand je veux remplir mes deux petites bouteilles d’eau avec leur grande bouteille d’eau du déjeuner pour mettre au congèle du frigo chambre elle a refusé la deuxième !!! (Alors que j’allais être bloquée sur la place saint pierre en pleine chaleur pendant 4h C’est incroyable, pas très sympas J’ai eu l’impression qu’il n’y a que le bisness qui compte dommage !!

• Ozturk (7/5): - Vatikan'a çok yakın. Odalar küçük, iletişim kötü, yol tarifi daha net yapılabilir. Havalimanindan tren ile gelmeyi tercih ettiyseniz 64 nolu otobüse bilmeniz yeterli oysaki. Shuttle'a bindiyseniz otobüsün durduğu yerden doğru tarif verilmeli. Çünkü bavulla yürümek icin uzak kalıyor. Taksiye bindim 6-7 dakika sürdü. Ama o saatte yoldan taksi bulmam mucize gibi birsey oldu. Check-in saati 22:00 diye yazmasina rağmen "en gec 21:30'a kadar buradayiz" demeleri şehre ilk kez gelen için panik yaratıyor. O gün Italya'nin özel bir günü oldugu için belki tren ve otobüs seferlerinde aksama yaşanabilir diye araba göndermeyi önerdiler ama hiçbir aksama yoktu. Sanirim geleceği kesin olan misafiri beklemek istemedikleri için panik havası yarattılar.

• Lisa (10/5): Central location, Friendly hosts - Location central with restaurants and cafes close by. Room was comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was Italian continental style with pastry, croissant, meat/cheese and yogurt. Coffee, tea and juice.

• Samantha (8/5): Great location to explore Rome - Check In was really easy. Staff were very nice. The location is great, with the Vatican a few minutes walk, and a train station within easy walking distance. Restaurants, shops and cafe very close as well. Would happily stay again. The only complaint I would have, is that there can be a bit of noise from the corridor but it didn’t bother us! Overall, great value for money!

• Wilma (9/5): Nice and accessible to everything. - Affordable, clean, neat and tidy. Accessible and near to Vatican and bus stop, but far from train station, walkable though. The staff are nice! Irene is great and accommodating. The toilet has washing machine. It has a veranda or terrace at the room. We enjoyed a short but sweet stay in here. Thank you. The air conditioning is not functioning. I contacted someone and they replied immediately.
• Chloecham (8/5): Very good - Very close location to St Peters square, 5min walk! And a 20min walk to the centre. Apartments were clean, tidy and the staff were lovely (Irene was lovely). Breakfast was simple but just what you needed in the morning, there is a lift for those with bags etc. Shower was very small, it didn't affect me too much however if I was bigger I would have struggled to move around. Breakfast in the morning was a little awkward as the staff are kind of just sitting around and you feel watched but the lobby is small so there's nowhere for staff to go.

• Naima (9/5): GREAT location and value for money! - The location is great! 3 min. walk to Sct. Peters Square in a calm non-touristy neighborhood with a great restaurant and an ice cream shop right across the street. We would eat there almost every night after a long day (if you go there, try their lamb dish - it was to die for). The hotel staff was super friendly as well and the breakfast was very decent with croissants from the local bakery, yoghurt, bread, juice etc. (loved the coffee). Would definitely book here again. In addition, the owner arranged a private airport transfer for our return home which arrived on time, and everything went just smooth. Nothing really. It was a good experience.

• Varvara (9/5): Superb - Awesome location. Vatican city is like 7 minutes on foot. Bus stop nearby, where the route 62 takes you to most major attractions. Breakfast included, fresh pastry, coffee, just the regular normal stuff. The room is clean and comfortable One day I came to my room in the afternoon to find that the cleaning lady forgot to actually lock my room. That was a bit unfortunate, since I had my work laptop and all stored in my room.

The place is clean, comfortable and with a air conditional that was really helpful. Although the location is good, there are no great views since this is a second floor.

They didn’t make up the room thinking we were inside though we said we shall leave early for tour. Left trash bins over-full, Breakfast on our first day was bad giving us one bread and one piece of salami each though buffet. Shower enclosure broken. If you are 80kgs or more, it will not be comfortable in the shower cubicle cuz too small. Bidet is leaking. Complained to the host so we were given bread and on our third day, which was well appreciated.

• Olga (10/5): Exceptional - I liked that the place was clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Vatican City is walking distance which was awsome!
• Childress (8/5): Good neighborhood - Location great Light out, no working safe.
• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Everything except the shower. The shower was slippery and you had to step up into it. That makes a fall risk.

• Jan (7/5): Good - Great location. We had to wait 20 minutes on the street to check in. It is funny, because they bombing us with text messages after arrivals - “…where are You? …what is Your possition now? …when EXACTELY You come?” Very small amount of toilet paper. When we ask for more, they gave us one single roll ( we stay for 5 nights). Send us message, if we want more, we have to pay. Very peculiar attitude.

• Gabor (9/5): Superb - Everything was great. The staff is nice and friendly. The Apartment is near the S. Pietro railwaystation.

• CRYSTAL (8/5): - We stayed two nights and this was a great place. Close walk to a taxi stand and Vatican. A little far away from the main tourist attractions.
• CHRISTIANE (4/5): - Il est dommage d'avoir du prendre sa douche dans un espace étriqué et couvert entièrement de moisissures ce qui a tout gâché malheureusement Aussi aucune insonorisation, donc nuits perturbées par le bruit incessant de la rue après des journées harassantes de visite dans la foule du Vatican on peut souhaiter mieux
• Abbi (10/5): Brilliant base for a holiday in Rome. - This property is clean, comfortable and well located. It is 5 minutes walk from the Vatican in an area where locals live. The bus goes from outside to Roma Termini, stopping near Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and a short walk from the Colosseum and the Forum. There are multiple good restaurants in the street or round the corner. The hotel recommends two, but I would add I San Pietrini nearly opposite, which we went to twice in a five night stay. Bono Bottega Nostrana round a couple of corners does an incredible range of delicious sandwiches for around €8. The shower sealant has turned black and could do with replacing.

• Marcsi (5/5): The pictures of the rooms are a bit misleading. - Good location, check-in employee was very friendly. Dirty and very thin walls, no blanket to sleep with, mold spots in the shower. Poor breakfast.
• Borg (9/5): Very pleasant stay at Domus Fabiola! - Very friendly staff, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, the location was very good. the shower is a bit small and there are very few electrical outlets in the room (i would suggest installing some form of mounted extension with a few more outlets)

• Lena-Marie (6/5): - In dem Zimmer war es super kalt, die Heizung hat nicht richitg funktioniert und auch der Heizlüfter hat nichts gebracht. Habe Nachts ziemlich gefroren und dann schlussendlich in normalen Sachen mit Winterjacke geschlafen. Auch das WLAN hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Der Mensch, der mich an der Rezeption empfangen hat, sagte mir zum Frühstück leider falsche Zeiten, weshalb ich dann ganz noch kurz etwas frühstücken konnte. Ansonsten war das Zimmer gut ausgestattet und die Frau beim Frühstück sehr nett. Die Lage war sehr zentral.

• Nik (10/5): - The workers were so kind. Irene checked me in and sent me an itinerary that I picked a few activities off of. And Oksana prepared the breakfast and coffee every morning, which made the trip a solid 10/10 alone. Thank you both for such a great experience!
