The location is excellent—very convenient for getting around, yet surprisingly quiet with no traffic noise at all, which made it even more enjoyable. I also loved the restaurant next door, Local, a Michelin-listed restaurant. The food was excellent and quickly became one of my personal favorites. Whenever I return to Bangkok, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

- Hollywoood (10/5): Perfect Stay - I just returned from a perfect 2 week stay at the Somerset Maison Asoke. The room and all of the facilities are in great condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great. The WiFi is strong and fast enough for all of my needs (including streaming). The room was very clean and comfortable, and was great for sleeping (quiet and good blackout curtains, with a very comfortable bed). The 7-Eleven right across the street is extremely convenient. I will definitely be staying here again!

They have a 7/11 across the street and plenty of restaurants and cafes and bars nearby. The room was quiet and very clean. The atmosphere was very pleasant and professional. The staff were incredibly friendly and nice and their service was the best I’ve had. They were always willing to help and resolved any issue. The hotel is great value because of the staff, the amenities such as the rooftop pool and delicious breakfast with many options, free shuttle, and much more. I’m really happy to have booked this hotel.

The bed and pillows let me sleep very well. The hotel staff were amazing: very attentive and efficient. The location is great for walking short distances to a variety of restaurants and “street food” and a 15 or so minute walk to a large mall and MRT/BTS stations. I will definitely stay again when I’m in Bangkok next.

Daily hotel shuttles to three train stations (BTS Asoke, Sukhumvit MRT, BTS Phom Phrong) and Emquartier Mall. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple but tasty and changes daily. Located in the tranquil neighborhood away from the rowdy nightlife while in the heart of Bangkok city. Staff is professional, friendly, enthusiastic and observant. A thank you to concierge Toni who took care of my daily shuttles. I feel so safe, refreshed daily, home away from home. I will stay here again when I am back in Bangkok.

The hotel is located less than 5 minutes from terminal 21. The breakfast is a voucher for the coffee next door and is actually really good. Learn to improve as it looks like they are going to open a bakery there. Pros: Central location. Modern rooms. Clean and fresh room. Washing machine. Large fridge and freezer. 2 hotplates. Microwave. Electric kettle. Pool. The overall impression of the breakfast is: Selection 6 (1- spartan - 10 overwhelming selection). Quality 8 (1- terrible - 10 highest possible quality). Value for money 7 (1- not worth - 10 absolutely worth the money). Value for money on the entire stay 8 (see below**). **(Throws money down the drain 0 - Break Even 5 - Highest profit 10). Cons: Only 10 sunbeds by the pool. 4 of them have parasols. Smoking area right behind the 4 places with parasols. Tip! Remove the smoking tables, and the flower boxes behind the 4 sunbeds and put your 4 sunbeds with parasols instead. Put a vending machine in the corridor to the pool with some cold drinks

- N253VNnatc (10/5): Really lovely stay - This hotel made our stay so comfortable and easy. The rooms/apartments are always clean and tidy, and the hotel in general is kept really nice. The shuttle service to Interchange is also so convenient - we used it several times each day. Most importantly, the staff here are really kind and always ready to help. In particular, Khun Cheep has always been a friendly face, and was very generous in helping us either various things for the duration of our stay. We highly recommend staying here, and hope to come back again.

It is comfortable and worry free in every way. The room is spacious with great natural light, the central location gives easy access to BTS and MRT, and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants around. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the quality of the stay feels consistently good. It is a place where I can truly relax, which is why it deserves a full score.

They do provide a shuttle service that brings you to a building linked to Asoke BTS and MRT. Room is big and able to work and very clean and staff is friendly! I stayed here solo for 5 nights in October 2025. This review is constructive criticism , useful for the hotel in order to improve the customer experience. Plus: Very clean and tidy. Felt new. Fully equipped rooms with washing machines available. Close to restaurants and pubs Lawson, 7/11 and grocery store nearby Pool area with generous opening hours until 10pm Reasonable price. Minus: Service level not optimal at reception. I didn't get any breakfast tickets and had to queue for this the morning after. (Even though breakfast was included.) Unpleasant attitude from the girl at check-in. No smile. I didn’t feel welcome. Boring breakfast selection. Despite being relatively cheap, it wasn't value for money. Low quality, small selection and the breakfast wasn't replenished after 10am (although breakfast continues until 10.30am). I don't recommend paying for breakfast. Same here with the service level. I felt somehow watched by the 2 staff members, more than taken care of. The customer is not allowed to press the button on the coffee machine! At check-out, the same unpleasant attitude. No one asked how my stay had been. I was also not allowed to leave even though I was already in the taxi, before they had checked my room "in case I forgot something". I suspect again that they want to check that the guest has not stolen anything or destroyed anything. I felt watched again. Unpleasant feeling. The pool water smelled very much of chlorine. Also caused a chlorine-cough. There are only 10 sunbeds. Only 4 with umbrella. In the pool area there are also space for smokers as they have placed tables for smoking there. The hotel should have had more sunbeds there instead and let the smokers go outside to smoke. As a pool guest you also have to inhale cigarette smoke. Wrong priority! A quite good hotel and at first glance it feels like a high rating. However, the level of service at the reception as well as the bad breakfast and smoking by the pool lowered the rating a lot.

Room were very clean and spacious as we stayed in one bedroom deluxe. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Bangkok.

- Trip53598302583 (10/5): A hotel that worth to stay again for your next day to Bangkok trip :) - Location quite good as the hotel is near to Sukhumvit MRT & Asoke BTS. The shuttle services by the hotel make my stay more convenient. Nearby hotel do have few convenience store. Room are clean and nice as the staff do put much effort in cleaning my room for my next day stay. About the hotel amenities, the gym are a-bit small but the swimming pool quite nice during night time.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and attentive, making check-in smooth and welcoming. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially cozy and I appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and quality amenities. Although breakfast selection was limited but the food was tasty. The location was also very convenient & shuttle service was provided. Overall, excellent service, great value and a place I’d happily return to and recommend to others.

At this range coupled with the service and in room amenities it is hard to beat. The shuttle service is on demand unlike some other providers hence that is a huge advantage. We opted for a room with washer which makes a huge difference for us. Special shoutout to our shuttle service drivers namely Khun Cheep and Khun Boy driving us with professionalism and friendliness. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Albeit quite a bit away from the BTS or Terminal 21, the shuttle service is amazing and Khun Cheep has been exceptionally helpful, responsive and informative. Service: Khun Boy and Khun Cheep always greeted us with smiles and made us feel very hospitable. I would say the same about the reception ladies on 23 Sept 2025, day time were lovely as well. Amenities: for my 2nd time here, the gym and pool are clean and well-maintained as always. Staff are quickly responsive to our requests, we highly appreciated it. Will return next year :)

The staff were accommodating and friendly, especially Toni and Yong and the receptionists who welcomed us to the hotel and helped us to book a taxi to the airport. The breakfast was simple but good and we were satisfied! The service was great as well. We really like the facilities. The room we stayed in was superbly clean and comfortable. It was spacious too. There was even a microwave and a washing machine which was really useful for us. We truly enjoyed our stay at Somerset Maison Hotel!

The hotel have shuttle travel between hotel & T21. The driver 'Cheep' was very nice, and take care each time. The drive was smooth and on time. The room was very good with stable wifi and hot shower.

- VonMatterhorn7 (2/5): A Great Hotel, But an Atrocious Breakfast Experience - Somerset Maison is a new, modern hotel with comfortable rooms and great amenities. There’s a lot to love about this place, but unfortunately, the experience is overshadowed by the atrocious behavior of the attached restaurant, Solo Uno, which offers a paid breakfast add-on when booking your stay. If you're looking for the convenience of a daily breakfast at the hotel, this is, unfortunately, your only option—and it’s a bad one. Poor Food and Awkward Service The food ranges from mediocre to outright bad, but the bigger issue is the management and staff’s behavior. The hotel provides breakfast vouchers, but instead of collecting them at the entrance, the staff waits until you’re in the middle of serving yourself at the buffet to demand it. Picture this: you’re putting food on your plate when suddenly, a staff member appears, staring at you and insisting you stop everything to produce the voucher. You’re forced to put your plate down, rummage through your wallet, and hand it over while they wait, watching. It’s uncomfortable, unnecessary, and frankly, harassing. Why not request the voucher when we enter or after we sit down? Rude and Petty Management Things took a bizarre and insulting turn when my 80-year-old mother took a couple of bites from her to-go meal while sitting with us. Apparently, this violated some convoluted rule stating that once you open your to-go meal, you can’t take it with you. The next day, Jesper, the manager, confronted us, saying he reviewed the security cameras and accused us of breaking the rules—essentially calling us thieves. This level of pettiness and hostility is shocking for a restaurant attached to an otherwise wonderful hotel. Zero Real Compensation We were so offended by the treatment that we refused to use the nearly 20 breakfast vouchers we had left. The only “compensation” offered? A free van ride to the airport—which was useless, as we had already paid for our own transport. In the end, almost no compensation was given, despite the completely unacceptable way we were treated. Avoid Solo Uno – Go to Cosmos Cafe Instead I sincerely hope Somerset Maison reconsiders its partnership with this poorly run establishment. If your planning to stay here and looking for a great breakfast, skip this place entirely and head to Cosmos Cafe, just a 3-minute walk away—delicious food and far better service.

- jow725 (10/5): Modern and neat in good location with excellent free shuttle service run by the informative Cheep - Neat, modern, clean, fresh hotel with good length pool. Good location about 10 min walk from terminal 21 and 15 min to the exquisite bird filled Benchakiti park. We had a one bedroom on the 3rd floor with quality washer drier, big fridge and a table with two seats, great for breakfast. The free shuttle service to sukhumvit metro and emsphere was superbly run by the very informative and friendly driver Cheep, we whatsapped when we needed him, he was always very quick to respond.
