- Andrea (9/5): Sehr empfehlenswert - Die Lage ist weg vom Touristen Spot mitten in einer süßen local Nachbarschaft, fast im Village Stil, was kultureller und wunderschön ist! Die Zimmer sind trotzdem sehr modern und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet! Das Frühstück war immer sehr lecker und frisch von 2 super lieben Frauen zubereitet! Ich würde es definitiv empfehlen für eine Bali Experience etwas ab vom Schuss. Und trotzdem ist man mit dem Scooter schnell im Zentrum!

- Alex (10/5): Katang Katang thumbs up - This is a lovely place, quiet and in local village. The staff were really nice, I would recommend if you want to be out of the hostel. I did not like anything. For the price this is a fantastic, friendly, clean little guesthouse, with very friendly locals.

- Margaux (9/5): Très agréable. - Le personnel est charmant. La chambre très jolie et propre. Le petit déjeuner convient très bien. Le quartier est reculé du centre mais du coup bien typique et très joli. Comme il peut être attendu de vieilles bâtisses, l’insonorisation n’est pas optimale. Ce n’est donc pas là que j’y ai fait ma meilleure grasse mat mais rien de grave. Un conseil cependant: je vous suggère de ne pas prendre l’offre de taxi faite par l’établissement et d’y venir par vos propres moyens. Ma Chauffeure n’était pas là quand je suis arrivée à l’aéroport. Ce fut chaotique pour se retrouver. J’ai mis une heure depuis ma sortie de l’aéroport pour monter dans la voiture. Elle a calé je pense une bonne quinzaine de fois rendant le trajet interminable. Et à la fin j’ai du moi-même la guider car elle voulait me déposer à un endroit qui était encore bien éloigné de l’hôtel. Tout ça pour finalement plus cher qu’un simple Grab. Donc expérience sur le coup après un long trajet… pas folle.

De badkamer zou wel een update kunnen gebruiken. Ik genoot van de vogels die hun ochtendconcert ten gehore brachten, nog voordat de hanen begonnen te kraaien. Dank voor alle goede zorgen, Try en Prewati! 🫶🏼 Zijhebben mijn verblijf zeer aangenaam gemaakt. Try heeft zelfs, toen ik al in mijn volgende accommodatie arriveerde, de volgende dag, mijn in de koelkast vergeten medicatie na gebracht. Zo lief en behulpzaam! 🙏🏽 Badkamer

- Léa (8/5): - L’établissement est magnifique. La salle de bain est sommaire. La change est confortable. Il y a beaucoup de bruit dans cette zone la nuit. Un chien hurlé plusieurs fois par heure la nuit principalement et d’autres chiens aboyés à l’unisson. Du coup c’est assez bruyant.

Forte odeur d’humidé, beaucoup de moustiques, salle de bain mal nettoyée (traces au sol), la chambre mériterait un coup de neuf. Pas de savon. Et 2 serviettes uniquement. The owner of the guest house makes contact with the guest in advance, a few days before arrival, providing all necessary info, especially if you come for the first time in Bali... On my request to prolong the check-in even after midnight because of the flight, they agreed with empathy and arranged a transfer from the airport to the guest house itself. The host woman waited for me, and even made me a coffee upon my arrival 👋

The property was neat and clean with free wi-fi too. It was a little out of the way but good for my first night after an international flight. It’s located down a lot of alleyways

- Kalea (7/5): Schönes balinesisches Gästehaus - Das Katang-Katang ist ein typisches balinesisches Gästehaus. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und das Personal freundlich. Zimmer war sauber. Das Gästehaus ist ziemlich außerhalb. Es war schwer ohne Roller oder Auto ins Zentrum zu gelangen oder sich eigenständig ein Grab/Gojek zu rufen. War erst möglich, als wir bis zur Hauptstraße liefen.

- Marta (4/5): Aceptable y sin desayuno - El alojamiento tiene un jardín bonito en la entrada y la habitación y la cama son grandes. Además hay aire acondicionado. Cogimos la que tenia baño privado que era poco práctico pero por estar en el jardín anexo a la habitación pero al menos tenía de todo y era grande. El suelo de la habitación parecía sucio por algunas partes como detrás de los muebles, como si no se moviesen para limpiar. Nos dijeron que el desayuno estaba incluido y que era de 7 a 9 así que podríamos dormir al día siguiente. Le dijimos a la chica que al día siguiente íbamos a madrugar para ir al puerto así que nos veríamos a las 7. Madrugamos y estuvimos esperando de 7 a 7.30 y allí no apareció nadie. Queríamos ir con tiempo y tranquilos y eso trastocó nuestros planes. Simplemente creo que fue una tomadura de pelo porque si dicen que es a las 8, nos vamos antes sin desayunar y no pasa nada pero ir justos y encima quedarnos sin desayunar pues no nos hizo mucha gracia.

- Anne (9/5): Katang Guest House is an authentic Balinese place to stay managed by a lovely family and staff. - The gardens were a delight and the staff were very kind. There is a kitchen available for cooking and tables and chairs to eat at as well as a lounge to relax on surrounded by artworks created by the head of the family. I was lucky to meet the grandson and see his artwork also. There are an assortment of different styles of rooms. Unfortunately Booking.com error caused some confusion. Family and staff were quick to assist in sorting it out.
- amina (4/5): - Sicuramente e’ una struttura immersa nel verde e molto tipica per chi ama sperimentare l’esoticita’ del posto. All’arrivo abbiamo aspettato quasi quaranta minuti nel giardino perché’ non avevamo avuto indicazioni in precedenza su quale fosse la nostra stanza.. dopo che ho cercato più’ volte di mettermi in contatto con il proprietario, mi viene detto che la mia stanza era la numero 7 e che potevo entrare sin da subito.. la stanza non era come in foto.. siamo rimasti due notti e a parte al check-in la nostra stanza non e’ mai stata ripulita.. (niente letti rifatti, dopo due ore la carta igienica che era consumata per due terzi era esaurita e mai rimessa) in camera c’era una sorta di solaio senza tende e tutte le mattine alle 5 avevamo luce in stanza.. insomma.. dalle foto e dalle recensioni sinceramente mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio.

- Dorian (10/5): - Les propriétaires sont charmants et le cadre est magnifique. C’est petit coin de paradis. La chambre et les sanitaires sont simples mais très fonctionnels. Habitation dans un quartier typiquement local de Bali. Un peu loin de l’aéroport mais ça peut aussi être un avantage pour sortir plus vite de la ville.

There was a bit of hiccups initially, due to communication difficulties but eventually google translator helped me to communicate clearly with staffs. Great breakfast, but no much varieties. Staffs helped with my laundry (all I have to do was to pay them and rest was taken care) . They let me store my luggage even after my check out date, they took good care of my luggage in a secured room for free. Good WIFI connectivity. Property filled with lots of mosquitos. Location wasn't that great as it was deep inside the streets, a family with kids must book taxi or car every time you wish to go around places. Filled with locals no much tourist in the area, people see you as an alien. Water supply stops during power cut making it difficult when you are in the middle of the shower. Not ideal for family with kids, as they have to stay away from the parent's room (was not clearly mentioned during the time of booking).

- Andrew (9/5): - Great little spot and exceptionally good value for money. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. I was only there for one evening but would definitely stay there again.
- Pei Yu Dawn (7/5): Great sleep here but poor location. - Quiet location. Airconditioning. Good internet. New towels. Far from mini-mart, difficult for Grab drivers to pick us up (average 7-8min wait). The doors are not well isolated. The staff could not speak English.
- Balázs (4/5): Hosszabb időre nem ajánlom. - A fürdőszoba kialakítása ötletes volt. Az ár-érték arány megfelelt. Nagyon szép a kert. A tulajdonos kedves, mosolygós. A szobában volt egy gekkó és találkoztunk csótánnyal is a fürdőnél. A szobában a fal foltos volt és a festék kezdett leválni róla. 1-2 éjszakára megfelel, ha valaki olcsó szállást keres, de hosszabb időre nem ajánlom. Kértünk vasalót, de nem kaptunk. Hajszarítót külön kellett kérni, az megérkezett. Nagyon messze van a központtól és a kikötőtől is, így mindenképp autót vagy motort kell bérelni, mert semmilyen látványosság vagy étterem nincs a közelben. Kétféle reggeli van csak: tükörtojás vagy tojásrántotta, amit a tulajdonos a helyszínen készít el. Teát vagy sima feketekávét lehet kérni hozzá.
