• angele (8/5): Refreshed memory i have - 1rst cheap,then clean WC room cleaned daily. The reception friendly helpfull,very closed to acropolis transport centers For me the stairways no lift but i got used to them, and beds would be grate if they had curtains and little light each.

• James (8/5): It’s okay; good enough that I went back for a second time after some travels and didn’t regret it. - Good location close to everything. Staff lovely and very helpful. Reasonably priced. Stacks of very hot water for showers. Comfy bed with deep mattress and crisp clean bedsheets. A very basic kitchen area with a kettle and toaster up on the roof terrace. Thin walls and doors, and echoing corridor make it noisy when people get up early or come in late. Nowhere to sit and socialise; it’s just bedrooms and the open roof terrace. It’s a bit run down and could do with a freshen up.

• Ester (7/5): - Al aldo del Mercado central, el abrrio no es el mejor, tiene zonas bastantes sucias. Aunque nuca nos sentims inseguros y al salir a la calle principal ya era mejor zona. Muy cerca de Omonia y Monasteraki. Es un hostal con lo que necesitas, las tollas, sábanas y camas estaban bien, cómodas y limpias. No subimos a la cocina o a las zonas comunes. Recomendaría para estancias cortas.

• Lucas (2/5): You get what you pay for... Maybe you are lucky and have a better experience, but it wasnt for us - The location is very good, close to Monasteraki, and the street is quiet. The reception is open 24 hours and the sfaff was friendly and helpful (to us at least, I saw not so nice interactions with other guests). Now the bad... 5th floor with no lift, one window blind was missing (and the courtain was extremely thin), so we had to put a blanket to block the light. One guest started playing super loud music at 4.30am and got aggressive when asked to turn it down and off 3 times, we had to call reception (receptionist was very helpful) but we almost got into a fight with the guy (who was clearly drunk and/or high). There was a storm the second night, which fried the heating system so there was no hot water at all the second day (out of two that we stayed). Also, the only common area of the hostel is the rooftop, which looks like someone has dripped a bomb on it on how dirty it is. It's a shame as it could be a really nice common space with a bit of a roof and tidyness.

• Donna (6/5): Great location, honest price - The location is very convenient, all the important landmarks are within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and respectful. On the top floor where I was staying there were no lockers for personal luggage. The shower box in the room had a strange arrangement, water would go everywhere in the bathroom.

• MAYA (8/5): 快適だった - アテネ最安のホテルを選んだが、清潔感もあるしレセプションは紳士でしかも24時間対応だしベッドの寝心地も問題なかった。 おそらくあの値段の安さはホテルがアテネの中心地に比べて治安があまりよろしくないという点にあるのかなと思った。そのためロケーションの評価はバス停や地下鉄の近さの点からの評価ではなく治安の点から評価をした。
• Sanjeev (7/5): Value for money - The staff was very helpful, they supported us to keep our luggage in their luggage room before the check-in date, as we wanted to leave for Santorini with less luggage. Accommodation has no lift and our room was on the 4th floor. It was very difficult to climb up the stairs with your belongings.

Dormí en la habitación de 4 personas con 3 amigas más, y tenía baño privado, cosa que no recordaba y fue una maravillosa sorpresa. Eran muy amables, dejan dejar las maletas después del check out el tiempo que necesites. También quería destacar la amabilidad de la recepcionista, muy maja.

• Remy (5/5): - Cheap, good location, staff was nice The blanket you receive is quite rough so not very comfy. There are no bug nets on the windows so mosquitos come inside and made my two nights quite rough getting bitten several times and not being able to sleep well. Plus I had a bunk mate who was staying for around 2 weeks and was 1 week in and his clothes reeked so bad I tried to spend as little time as possible in the room but I know that isn't the hostel's fault. Furthermore, no soap in the showers and the water turns boiling hot even when set at the middle temperature and more often than not no matter what heat you set the shower to it would eventually turning boiling hot or very cold.

• Gabriela Telekfalvi (10/5): Amazing people and great facilities! - The hostel staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. Even before we arrived, we had to make some changes, and they managed to accommodate us in the best possible way. We were a group of seven people staying for 16 nights, and everything was clean and comfortable. The location was right in the center of Athens, which was perfect for us. Overall, we were very satisfied with everything.

• Kathryn (6/5): Good Value for the Money in Athens, though lacks any AMENITIES - I have stayed here many times before, as the location is superb, and the mattresses are very comfortable. The staff do an excellent job of cleaning. And I love talking to staff member Zayid, from the West Bank (Israel area).....! There were some AWFUL WOMEN that were roommates (in two different rooms --- the first room I left after less than 24 hours....!) that were so MEAN and SELFISH (not compromising on the temperature of the room, not allowing me to use the computer desk with them.....etc)...... When I complained to the staff at the front desk, they INITIALLY shrugged it off...until I sort of "STARED them DOWN".....! .... This facility is truly BARE-BONES, in that there is no lounge area to meet other guests, and there is no proper kitchen --- only a very rough-looking rooftop terrace (that has potential, but no investment). The balcony doors on the front-facing rooms do not properly close. There is no place to eat a meal (no tables available) unless you use the terrace, which is not possible during rain or cold weather.....as there is no overhead cover.

Also we got a room next to terrace and toilet inside the room. 5 floors to walk to our room and there was no escalator. I understand it could be because of old building construction. Some screws in the bed were loose as well. Hope they will do routine check.

• Paula (7/5): Obtenes lo que pagas - Esta bien ubicado La limpieza deja que desear. No hay cocina, ni heladera. La única pava eléctrica disponible está en la terraza, enchufada bajo la lluvia, un peligro. Encima, la señora de la mañana se molestaba si le pedías agua caliente.
• Ahmad Al Othman (9/5): World-class Receptionist - A nice receptionist will make your experience unbelievable regardless any other valuation aspects. The receptionist was extremely nice and I did not care much about anything else. I would like to thank her for her attitude. I checked in on 1st of May at midnight. The internet was not the best knowing that I was in the 2nd floor, the building itself is old and needs maintenance, the cleanliness could have been better.

• SHUHEI (9/5): コスパよし - WiFiは強い。 シャワーは温水がしっかり出る。 掃除をしてくれているのでトイレ周囲は清潔に保たれている。 ベッドシーツは客が変わったら毎回交換してくれている。 今回使わなかったが、エアコンもあった。 中心地から1.5kmくらい。 部屋が6階くらいだったけどエレベーターがないので少し登るのが大変。 安いから仕方ないが、ベッドにカーテンなどの仕切りがないのでプライベートはない。

• Paul (8/5): Ich hatte einen guten Aufenthalt. Es gibt eine 24h Rezeption und die Möglichkeit sein Gepäck für 2€ pro Öffnung am Gang - Super Lage in Athen um alles zu erreichen. Ich habe ein zweites Handtuch bekommen weil mein erstes noch nicht getrocknet war. Das Personal ist sehr nett und ich hab sogar mitbekommen wie sie einen Konflikt im Nebenzimmer gelöst haben weil eine Person zu laut war. Die Stockbetten sind recht niedrig und etwas wackelig.

(Hostel told us metro stop Omonia but It is way more convenient to go to Monastiraki stop especially from airport- no need to change lines and it is the same distance. ) Receptionist was very nice and informative. Had a very small private room. It was definitely a smoking room. Smell of stale smoke. Window opened onto an inner junk area. No fresh air.

• Chanmin (10/5): 가성비 최고의 호스텔입니다. - 아테네 시내에 있는 여러 주요 관광지를 걸어갈 수 있는 위치에 자리하고 있으며, 직원이 매우 친절합니다. 짐 보관 서비스도 체크인 전 후로 사용할 수 있었습니다. 체크아웃 한 날 비행기 시간까지 많이 남아서 짐 갖고 다니기가 애매했는데 호스텔에 무료로 보관할 수 있게 해줘서 너무 좋았습니다. 공용 사워 공간과 화장실은 쾌적했습니다. 2층침대 자리를 배정 받았는데 침대에 올라가는 사다리가 불안정했습니다. 오르고 내려오는데 살짝 불안했지만 괜찮았습니다.

I tried multiple times to request a room change because the people I was sharing the room with were extremely unpleasant and made me feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the staff refused my request without offering any reasonable explanation or alternative solution. The atmosphere in the room was negative and stressful, and instead of addressing the issue, the management showed a lack of concern for guest comfort and safety. As a result, I had no choice but to leave the hostel earlier than planned, which caused unnecessary inconvenience and extra expenses. I believe that a good hostel should prioritize the well-being of its guests and be flexible in situations like this. Sadly, that was not the case here. I would not recommend this place, especially if you value a respectful and comfortable environment. Overall, this experience fell far below expectations, and I hope the management takes guest feedback more seriously in the future. I had a very disappointing experience at this hostel.
