• Verified traveler (4/5): - Betten wurden nur halbpatzig, gar nicht oder manchmal gut gemacht, je nach dienstplan. Spiegel im bad so hoch montiert, dass man nicht mal sein ganzes gesicht sieht, es sei dann, man sei sehr gross. Im bad keine steckdosen! Somit rasieren und fönen im bad also nicht möglich. Teetassen wurden nicht ausgewechselt, bis ich sie dann auf den boden stellte, dann hat das putzpersonal bemerkt, dass sie zu wechseln sind. Keine Nachttischlampen neben dem bett! Aufstehen ist angesagt um das licht zu löschen. Heizung zwischen Bett und Wand eingequetscht, bringt so nicht grad viel.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Small and cozy - It was a reataurant and inn style. Because restaurant open 12 pm, you'd better contact after that time. It located in the major road and therefore was noises from cars and motorcycles. Except for these everything was fine. Restaurant was good.

• Viola (8/5): Better than expected/Superiore alle aspettative - I did not expect such a nice place. Quite close to Archway tube station. The room was literally cute and big enough for 2 people. The bathroom is not big but it's got everything you need, quite new and clean. I would recommend this accomodation and would get back when in London. Non mi aspettavo un posto così bello. Abbastanza vicino alla stazione della metropolitana di Archway. La stanza era molto carina e grande abbastanza per 2 persone. Il bagno non è grande, ma c'è tutto il necessario, arredato abbastanza nuovo e pulito. Raccomanderei questo posto e ci tornerei in caso di passaggio a Londra.
• Philomena (4/5): Not comfortable - No sockets in convenient places Could be a fire hazard having to change plugs constantly I don’t know how they expect people to charge their electronic equipment over night !!!
• Marie (2/5): Cheap and nasty - Room very dirty, dated furniture falling to pieces. Bed stained badly, shower was filthy . Ordered twin room given double would not change it. Only consolation was bed linen and towels clean. But felt very uncomfortable sleeping on a filthy bed. Luckily we only had to use room to sleep in.

• Colleen F. (6/5): Smell - The people who work here are great. Manager, staff, everyone. There is very little they can do to make the place cleaner without doing a total renovation. The smell of mold in the room was overwhelming. Needed fan on, windows open and air freshener to cope with the stench. The door to my room closed with the deadbolt just barely catching leaving a large gap of light streaming in from the hall. A two year old could have pushed it in. No peephole on the door, when someone knocked it was a guess who was beyond my door.

• stephen (8/5): Does what it says on the tin - Rooms where above a restaurant through a side entrance ,corridors leading to room could have done with a spruce up but the room itself was large and clean with a clean bathroom too,beding crisp white and had a decent night sleep, if your on a budget its ideal.

• Anonymous (2/5): - Worst “hotel” I’ve ever been to, very dirty bathroom. They had told me that someone would come to clean it and no body came. Very horrible place, do not recommend anyone to stay here.
• Kevin (6/5): Average, could have been better - It seems like the Hotel is the afterthought of the successful restaurant. It has been allowed to fall into disrepair and if they spent money on it, they'd be able to charge a lot more. Information given was very limited, we weren't told how to check out when the restaurant was closed, and they didn't ask our name when we turned up and could have been anyone. The room itself was small with an en-suite, that had leaky boiler issues. I would also say that the cleanliness was suspect. Overall, the stay was OK as it was only for 1 night

• Verified traveler (2/5): Dont stay here!!!! - Not great. Common areas had not been cleaned. Bannister was sticky, carpets had not been hoovered etc. Room was extremely damp. Stains on the walls, doors, tables. Window in the room was not fitted correctly, very breezy throughout the night. Just not a very nice place to be. The bed sheets were however very clean so we were able to stay. Its also advertised as a "B&B", which it is not. Its just a room to sleep in. There is no breakfast facility at all, in fact, the business is closed every day until 12/mid-day. So checking out is leaving your key in their post box.
• Joanna (8/5): Great find in North London - Really good location for highgate cemetery, archway tube (northern line) and arsenal football ground (the Emirates). The hoteliers appear to be making great strides to make the rooms modern. Just need a little bit more effort. It is below a middle Eastern restaurant which has a good menu. The restaurant and accommodation was exceptionally clean. Not your usual hotel but a good place for an overnight stay. Free parking is a boon too.

• Benjamin (2/5): Poor service - There wasn’t a television in the room and when I went to ask was told the guy I charge us coming in 10min this guy didn’t show up after hours and went again to find out didn’t get any good response till I left in the afternoon

• Debs (2/5): Stay somewhere else. - 1. Said they would upgrade room for a positive review. 2. Room was ok but the tv (that didn't work) couldn't be seen from the master bed. 3. Kettle on bedside table rather than next to the tea making facilities. 4. Basin so small, couldn't fit hands under taps to wash. 5. Fire alarm went off in middle of the night. No staff on the premises. Corridors filled with smoke. Stood outside in freezing cold waiting to be let back in. (Apparently it was deterrent smoke triggered by an attempted break-in). 6. Nobody to check-out with so nowhere to leave the key. Despite the property not having a front desk, there should be staff available 24hrs. The restaurant part looked nice but did not eat here so can't vouch for it but I do not recommend a stay at this hotel. After a full refurb last year, they are still a very long way off ready.
• Anthony (8/5): Lumpy mattress but fun and clean. - Quirky. SEt of rooms above an ex-pub that is now a Persian restaurant anf 'hookah' bar. A HUGE old pile of an ex-pub. Rather dowdy with no tv and the LUMPIEST MATTRESS in the world! However basically clean, quite, secure, snug and with a nice if small loo and shower. Could be really superb little boutique hotel with some investment.Overal OK for a basiuc rest. Restaurants nearby are downhill and it is a REAL climb back - remember that if you eat or a fair bit. Good transport connections andlocal area is great for tourists.
• Lasse (2/5): Find et andet sted at sove - Blev vist fint til værelset - meget venligt personale som jeg kun så den ene gang. To senge - en var en madres på en trækasse og den anden en drømmeseng der var meget ukomfortabel, samt at en knirkede. Toilet ude på gangen, hvor selve toilettet stod løst på gulvet, så det tippede - håndvask tilbage på værelset. Brusekabine inde på værelset - varmt vand kun de første 2-3 min - ellers meget koldt. Ikke ordenligt håndsæbe, men kun shampo. Meget lydt og der bliver banket på værelsesdøren kl 01.00 af en mand, som skal høre om jeg er på værelset? Igen kl 03.00 hvor der kommer en masse larmende personer, så man ikke kan sove. Kun en enkelt stikkontakt - den anden bag en kommode, så man ikke kunne sætte kogekedlen til. Dårligste sted jeg nogensinde har overnattet.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The room we payed for was not the room we got, downstairs reception area was imacculate had a refurb to a very high standard, came through 1st floor landing which was imacculate, then got showed are room on top floor which let us down, kept asking about the heating to which we got an electric heater, asked can we change the room to the answer of no,
• Sarah (8/5): Definitely worth it 👍 - Arrived quite late on a Friday night but our hosts were ready and waiting. We sat in the bar and ordered a bottle of wine. This was promptly served along with 2 bowls of delicious soup which we hadn’t ordered but was much appreciated and free😁. Returned to hotel on Saturday evening after a busy day in London and were agin treated to soup and very well looked after. Have already recommended to a friend who is now booked in for Wednesday 😃
• Jason (8/5): JEEP - JEEP vehicles originally meant : Just Enough Essential Parts. This room is a "Jeep". Came to London to visit friends in the Finsbury Park area. Budget room(very!). Just a bed, toilet, shower. No TV and WiFi is very poor. If you just need a base for your stay and only need a bed and wash facilities for a short stay, once you get used to it, it's OK.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Beds need to be changed, springs popping out into my back and every time I moved. I didn’t sleep much at all due to this. Also, stains on the bedsheets. Restaurant looked lovely and staff were pleasant.
• Lawrence (10/5): - We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights between the 19th and 20th of October. while the rooms are small they are clean and bright. Thomas was very welcoming and friendly and the restaurant staff were very accommodating. Ali made us feel at home and bent over backwards to help. If you are looking for a cheap, clean hotel to rest your head this I would recommend this hotel. it's not fancy or big but it's clean and the staff very friendly.

• Joann (6/5): Give them time! - It is going to be a lovely hotel but as they’ve only been open a couple of weeks, it’s still a bit shambolic. Having said that, the room was clean and had all we needed and the people are lovely. They all went out of their way to apologise for any failings and remedy them where possible. So don’t be too hard on them...give them a try!

We stayed for 4 nights without room service due to no housekeeping.Had to ask for change of towels on the third day, room was not cleaned on any of the 4 nights stay no continental breakfast as advertised or replacing coffee tea and milks. This is a new hotel with teething problems but there was no gesture of a free drink, meal or money back for the services we didn't receive. Wi fi didn't work. Noisy front door so ours rattled every time this closed. If you don't have the staff to run the hotel don't open the the hotel otherwise I find you will receive a lot more reviews like this one.
