- RPAPKPMP (6/5): Mixed feelings... - I have real mixed feeling about reviewing this hotel as their are so many things to like. The staff were fantastic, very warm and welcoming. The location is perfect for seeing Tokyo with Kanda station only a five minute walk away and there are lots of potential restaurants etc close by. Loved breakfast which was authentic Japanese food and even catered for our vegetation child which was very unusual in Japan in our experience. The rooms themselves were fine in terms of size, as we expected them to be small and cosey and beds were comfortable. The big issue though was the temperature in the room. Its was absolutely sweltering in both rooms we booked with the air conditioning units having little impact. This obviously meant getting a good night sleep was a real challenge and has a major impact on the overall score i can give the hotel. Honestly if this was sorted i would give it 5 stars as for the price you pay it is spot on. My summary would be so near and yet so far. Has the potential to be fantastic...

- FunkyMan3333 (8/5): Nice, clean and comfortable but small - We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed for 8 nights while visiting Tokyo (two adults, in two beds). While the rooms aren't huge, they are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is large enough for one person, with good water pressure. My only criticism of the room is that it needed more storage space. There are two desks (one of them extended as needed), but not drawers or closet. We were given two hangers, and needed to request more (the clothes could be hung on bars around the walls of the room). Living out of a suitcase for 8 days wasn't easy. Service was excellent. At one point, we needed to switch rooms because the air conditioning unit was making an intermittent buzzing noise every 3-5 minutes overnight (similar to a cell phone on vibrate). The staff very quickly switched our room and we slept comfortably after that. In addition, we had trouble with the safe (it kept locking, and the code didn't work to open it again) - again, the staff (Rea) helped with a smile. Finally, the amenities were nice. There was instant coffee in the room, but an excellent coffee machine (which also served espresso and capuccino) in the lobby. There was free wine and sake from 5-7pm, and some snacks from 7-9pm. Wish there was a gym! Local gyms were $20-30/visit. It is in a very central location, steps from Kanda Station, and a 20 minute walk to Tokyo Station and Akihabra. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was reasonably priced and comfortable. Worth a booking!

- Princess (8/5): - Front staff was excellent. They were helpful with our questions and needs. Location was close to the JR Line making traveling within Tokyo (and outside tokyo) super convenient. Knocking off a star only for these two reasons: 1. The rooms, were really really small. We knew it was small booking it but was surprised at how small it actually was. The mattress was just a 5inch? mattress on top of a wooden raised plank. It was, however, surprisingly comfortable. 2. The in-room slippers were atrocious! They were incredibly uncomfortable! Please just provide disposable slippers instead! Overall it was a good experience. You do get what you pay for in terms of room space.

- Aden (10/5): Second time visitor - This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I would be happy to come back again. The rooms are compact, aimed less at moving in for a couple of weeks, and more 'I'm going to drop my stuff off and head out to explore'. The hotel offers various services in the main lobby social space at specific times of the day, and amenities can be easily found at the reception. It rained during my visit, and the hotel had umbrellas ready for free use. The location is brilliant, just a few minutes' walk from Kanda Station, and there are many bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, so you really can't go wrong with whatever you choose to do.
- Margaret Alice Juliet (10/5): - One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have been to world-renowned five star hotels all over the world including Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The staff are unfathomably accommodating to the point of absurdity. They have spared no cost to make our stay as carefree as possible. Naming even one member of staff would be a disservice to the rest, as each one has been incredible with their dedication to serving me and my husband on our 7-day trip to Japan. To sum this property for any prospecting travelers: it is a one in a million hotel. Ask and you shall receive levels of service. Overall delightful and if I ever stay in Tokyo again, this will be the place to go.

I loved how there were lots of freebies, such as takoyaki every night during a specific time, free mocktails and some wine, unlimited water, tea, and coffee available all day, every day, as well as access to a microwave. These are all accessible 24 hours a day. The location was so accessible to the train station. Lots of great japanese restaurants and convenient stores nearby.

- Jennifer (8/5): - We stayed for 3 nights. Overall, it’s good. About 20 minutes walk to Dotonburi. The subway station is right outside of the building of hotel. If you don’t care about the room is pretty small it’d be great economy travel. There were no room service for the 3 nights we stayed but they put new clean towels at the door. It’s clean and safe for a short stay.

- Allan (8/5): Not what we expected. - We were totally taken aback by the size of the room. We did not have enough room to open our suitcases, except for one the bed. The double bed consisted of a futon on a base which housed a small safe, a couple of small drawers, and a small fridge. This was against the wall, so you had to crawl over to get to the other side of the bed. The fridge emitted heat which made the small room very warm so you had to keep turning on the air conditioner on as the window would not open. They had a fold out table from the wall, but once this was engaged, you couldn't get to the end of the bed. There were also two coat hangers built into the wall, so all you could hang were two garments. The bathroom was also very small with no room to put a shaving or cosmetic bag anywhere. Definitely a one person bathroom.The room was clean and the hotel staff were great and very friendly, especially Rea. As a.foreign traveler, if I were to visit Japan again for an extended stay, I would probably pick another hotel.

Second time we’ve stayed here - first being in 2019. Seems like the decor could do with a refresh, but all in good and working order.
- Alexia (10/5): - The property was great for our 5 day stay in Tokyo. It’s a 6 minute walk to your nearest train station which is quick. You have a 7-11 on the nearby corner so great for late night snacks or morning breakfast. The property is are strict on check-in and check-out time, so do not expect an early check-in or a late check-out, we asked for both and neither were accommodated. The room is small but can be worked with if you are space efficient. The bed is a thin mattress but surprisingly comfortable did not hurt my back. The staff is very very sweet, everytime we left and arrived they greeted us with a welcoming smile. And when we departed from the hotel on our final time they came out and waved us goodbye like your loved ones would do. Very sweet touch. We would stay again.

But must important, the staff is super friendly and helpful, they helped us sending some stuff we left at the room all the way to Kyoto, so thankful for that!! Would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

- trinidad (10/5): - Very easy check in and out. Plenty of places to eat around the area. Felt very safe. Train station is a very close 6 min walk. Nice and quiet. Rooms are small. Rooms are equivalent to half the standard American size. Staff was very friendly.
- V980MHdavidd (6/5): Taped broken outlet and small room - Its okay but wouldnt go there again. The room is quite small for two people with luggage and there was alot of dust and weird black markings on the walls etc, the electrical outlet was also loose and just taped on? Dangerous stuff. The staff were very kind however.

Good location. Feels very safe. Close to train station and affordable restaurants. I can definitely recommend this place.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good hotel with a very large room when biking the deluxe room for 2. Had nightly noodle service and sake. Very comforting and clean. Location is very much a business district so not a ton to do in the immediate area but close to the Kanda station which make Tokyo station and Akihabara very accessible.
- Edward Wai-Lei Frederick (8/5): - Great friendly staff, very accomodating, lots of great food options in walking distance and trains to basically anywhere in Tokyo nearby.
- Henry (8/5): - Great staff, nice and friendly. All of them are helpful, specially Rea. She speaks english well, can communicate and answer most if not all of your questions about the hotel and the surrounding areas. Where to get this and how to get there. Rea and other staff were all helpful. Hotel does once a week room cleaning though. But you can get your fresh towels everyday. Hotel’s location is close to JR and subway station, 7–10 mins walk. Hotel is also close to malls and restaurants. Do i recommend this hotel? Maybe yes, because of the staff. They should do a cleaning more often, like every 4 day cycle at least.

- Jérôme (10/5): - Nice place to stay, sleeps well. There is free coffee/drinks/soba depending on the time of the day as well. The vents are a bit dirty in the room. Other than day, very enjoyable stay and great service.
- Wing Ho (10/5): - Please note that the room size may be smaller than what you think. Other than that, the room was clean, close to different train stations, only one stop way from Tokyo station.

- Gurbandurdy (10/5): Good to stay for overnight. - Reception and services are excellent, but the housekeeping could be improved (hotel doesn’t provide daily housekeeping). Overall hotel is good for stay if you have one backpack with you and no plans for shopping otherwise there’s simply no space to keep your stuff.

- sai lim freeman (6/5): - Location is good, very near to several JR/metro stations. The mattress is bad. Only 2 inch thick laid on flat plywood. Every piece of bone hurts in the morning.
- Ryan (8/5): - Cozy hotel a 5 minute walk from Kanda station. Staff are great and always helpful, and the hotel features some free happy hours throughout the day for food or drink. The rooms feel like they're on the smaller side, so it can be cramped for you if you have multiple luggages - but the sleep will be great with the blackout curtains. The drying on the laundry machines was not as reliable as I had hoped for. Overall a good and manageable stay

- Amy (6/5): - The hotel was good enough, rooms were small so I wouldn’t recommend this for a long stay for a couple. Our lights didn’t work when we arrived but the staff were quick to resolve this issue. Bed was very firm!

- Anna (8/5): Decent hotel for a couple nights - Someone called this a bare necessities hotel - I think that’s a pretty good way to describe this place. We were just looking for a place to stay one night after arriving to Japan and chose this hotel for its proximity to Tokyo Station and the price. The staff was nice, and the free sake hours was a fun touch (though we sadly arrived too late to enjoy it). The room was pretty small for two people and the mattress was thin on the bed so it was a bit uncomfortable. But we were so tired it didn’t really matter. I think this place was fine for a night or two but probably not for several nights.
- Shayna (6/5): - I would consider this a bare necessities hotel. It was clean, though housekeeping is only once a week and you'll need to request fresh towels yourself at the front desk. The hot water would sometimes change temperature in the shower unexpectedly. The basic double room was not enough space for two people (basically just a bed, a bathroom, and a small hallway) and the mattress (while surprisingly comfortable) was only a few inches thick. The luggage storage service is just in the middle of the common space. Though the location is in the middle of several nearby subway stations and is very central!

- Arlene (6/5): - You get what you pay for. The washroom had black mold and/or black mildew between the tub and the wall as they did not put a sealant. They also had pink mold/mildew on the shower curtain.
- Kim (8/5): Almost 5 stars ... - The hotel was surrounded by inexpensive restaurants and entertainment. Depending on which exit you used from train station (north or south), you would pass at least 2-3 combinis (convenience stores). When we checked in, we were early so we left our bags and returned later. By the time we came back, they placed our luggage in our room for us. NICE TOUCH! 😃 Our room was 140 sq meters large. The bed was spacious, and there were rods to use to hang your clothes. Bring swivel headed hangers because they only provided one for the room. Happy Hour included rice cracker snacks, 3-4 different alcoholic beverages and some mon-alcoholic drinks. The free nightly udon from 8pm - 10pm was tasty! Areas of improvement: - There are only 2 washing/drying machines. It takes 2.5 hours per complete load so if the previous guest doesn’t remove their belongings promptly, it can hold up others wanting to do laundry. Wish there was a way to check on availability of machines from the room instead of going up & down elevator. - Staff Education. We inquired about luggage service to the airport and were told we could arrange it the day before departure. That was incorrect. The staff couldn’t assist us any further so we were stuck dragging 2 checked bags and 2 carry-ons on the train from Kanda to Narita.

- H834XLrobins (6/5): Very average - Nice hotel but rooms are super small! And the Nepalese / Indian ? staff lady at the front desk was quite rude, rushed and lacked customer service skills. She needs to be retrained !! The best thing about this hotel is the location and free alcohol from 5 pm to 7pm.

- DayTrip64634309254 (10/5): Exceptional services and convenient location! - I've got super nice experience living in this hotel for the purpose of travelling. This hotel provides convenient location (15mins to Ginza and Senso-ji) and exceptional services with trilingual receptionists Rea, Aishya, and Gobinda, who have made reservations for restaurant and taxi for me, which is fairly difficult without some extent proficiency of spoken Japanese. I will definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Tokyo in the future!!
- Camille (10/5): - Close to Kanda station which is one stop to Tokyo station. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Rea and Kuni.
- Cindy (8/5): - Location is very convenient; it's within walkable distance to the train station, convenient stores and decent restaurants. They provide happy hours service with free drinks and snacks. However, I suspect that they play the mosquito sound at the lobby, and why do they do that during happy hours if they are providing service for customers to enjoy? Room was pretty comfortable, great beds and I enjoyed watching TV before sleeping. Washroom is reasonably spacious as well.
