• Eva (8/5): - Das Appartement liegt ganz nah an der Ubahn, rundherum gibt es viele Cafés und auch ein Lebensmittelgeschäft findet man ganz in der Nähe. Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Der contactless Checkin war sehr einfach. Die Küchenausstattung hat nicht unbedingt zum Kochen eingeladen. Für Frühstück und kalte Abendjause war aber genug Geschirr vorhanden.

• ANDRÉS (9/5): - Buen apartamento. Éramos 4 y de sobra, con las camas dobles y las individuales, y un salón espacioso y con cocina y todo. La ubicación está muy bien, en el centro a 10 mins de acrópolis y 15 del estadio. Muy bien la verdad, sin problemas. Volvería. El agua caliente funciona con un calentador que se apaga cada X tiempo. Hay que hacer gestión del agua caliente, que es lo único negativo. Eso y que la ducha está elevada, para personas de movilidad reducida puede ser ´dificil, y que para personas de más de 1,90 das con cabeza en el techo.

• Thomas (8/5): A few days in athens - The location was amazing. We walked everywhere. The host arranged our transfers to and from the airport. The driver was very nice. Chris and his wife have a coffee shop at the corner, it was very good. The sink in the bathroom doesn't drain well. I turned the faucet on and was distracted for a few seconds, and it overflowed. I think the bathroom could use updating.

Walking distance to all the sites, museums, shops, restaurants etc. we wanted to visit. Very easy to get to with the metro. Easy breakfast and lunch options, such as This is Loco and the street-food passage, just around the corner. Perfect!

• Eacrett (5/5): 2 night stay - do not stay until renovated - The only positives are the air-conditioning, the location and the host was helpful arranging transfers from port and to the airport. Booked for 6 people, each of us looked at the pictures and reviews before booking. All pictures are totally misleading as to how the apartment looks in reality (I have attached some genuine photos). The whole place needs to be refurbished, bathroom is an absolute disgrace, the toilet seat doesn't fit the toilet, the tiles on the walls are broken and peeling and overall doesnt look clean. It could have done with more toilet roll, if you were any taller than 6 foot you would not be able to stand up in the shower/bath. Felt we could not use the kitchen. It is dark, dull, and needs major updating. We have all stayed in basic accommodation before and we knew where we were staying but this place has been photographed in a way to deliberately mislead people into thinking it is far nicer than it actually is which is completely wrong. After reading responses to previous reviews, we expect a very harsh response from the host, but all above is true.

• Alpana (4/5): not clean - near Acropolis dirty kitchen area, toilet very dirty,and that too 1 toilet to be shared by 3 double bed rooms apartment expecting the owner to be helpful instead was really rude, the worst part was dirty fridge full of ice in it, so it's not advisable to stay 😑
• Danae (6/5): Pleasant overall, good location. - The air con was a relief from the outside humidity, it was a good location for walking around the city, close to the supermarket and an amazing little restaurant Sfika 150 meters away that we highly recommend. The bedrooms were nice and functional kitchen. There were maintenance issues that need rectifying, e.g broken and loose door handles, missing clothes drying rack, cleanliness was not good, the apartment was dusty and the floor hadn’t been cleaned. The bath/shower is not safe, it is a very high step over to have a shower.

• Melissa (6/5): - The apartment was older but spacious. Beds were comfortable and host gave clear instructions on how to access the apartment. I was frustrated as I specifically book this property because it was advertised as having on-site parking in addition to street parking. We arrived and discovered there was no on site parking and street parking was very difficult to find and my husband spent a half hour driving around trying to find somewhere to park and it was a walk to get to the apartment. The cleanliness of the bathroom was not great - the bathtub had hairs in it and a half used travel sized bottle of body wash laying on the ledge so we opted not to use it because we weren't sure it had been cleaned. There is also no lock on the bathroom door. The beds have very thin blankets so we found it to be a bit chilly but it wasn't too bad. We did notice that there is very little sound proofing and found it hard to sleep through the night as there was a lot of noise from the street that echoed into the apartment even with the doors and shutters closed. The location is close to the historical sites and there is lots of dining options nearby. Overall it was an ok stay.
• Dorina (8/5): Nice apartment close to everything - The location is perfect , close to everything in the center. Close to good restaurants and the bus to the beach (A2 / B2) the appartement itself had everything you need for a couple of days in Athens. Hosts were very nice and helpful. Beds are of good quality. If I could recommend I would upgrade the outside furniture to sit on the balcony and a bread toaster

• Ezra (6/5): Just okay, but great location and good value for price - very good location, 5 minute walk to Acropolis and lots of restaurants/shops, 10-15 walk to main tourist area (Plaka), 2 minute walk to subway, 20 minute walk or short subway ride to main shopping street (Ermou St.), and several cafes and restaurants within 5 minute walk. Beds were comfortable, bedding was fine, living room is small but comfortable with good lighting, apartment was pretty clean but very spartan, bare walls with only a few black and white prints for decor. Easy to get keys, elevator in building (although there are a few steps to get to elevator so not wheelchair accessible if you need that). Fits 6 people comfortably in 3 bedrooms (we had 5). daughter got 4 bedbug bites and saw one bug (owner said he will look into it); kitchen sink and bathtub are very stained; kitchen lighting is dreary and dim; no laundry soap, trash bags, paper towels, napkins, or tissues provided (we had to buy all of those), bathroom tub was very clogged despite my husband removing hair clogs multiple times -- took 30 minutes to drain after shower; tub/shower is very high to step into, cracked tiles in shower, towels old and rough. Main bedroom has only one small hanging rack with a few small plastic hangers that were too narrow to hold adult size clothes, no other storage for clothing. Needs drawers, shelves, cabinet or at least some cubbies, there was no place to put folded clothes or socks, etc., and not enough hangers for two people. Other bedroom had enough cabinets/closets. View is bad (dumpsters and graffiti across the street) and traffic/motorcycle noise is loud at night, will need earplugs to sleep if light sleeper.

• Brian (7/5): Fantastic! Superb location. Stunning scenery. Love Greece and the lovely people - The location was fabulous,close to everything. The beds were comfortable, brand new air con much needed. the living area was very comfortable. Very close to all night life and restaurants and all transport The bathroom very dated needs some TLC,was not very clean. The kitchen could also do with a facelift, The kettle didn't work, we are British was hell without a cup of tea! Freezer needs defrosting we only had ice lolly's to cool us down but it was difficult to use.

• Sandra (8/5): Overall the location was great as it provided walking distance to many attractions of the city and surrounding restauran - The location right next to the Acropolis, Parthenon and downtown location-Plaka which has a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops amongst other things. Clean property, comfortable. The shower was a bit uncomfortable but this was also due to us traveling with someone that has knee issues and the bathroom was elevated to an extent making it difficult to be able to get in the tub. Think about this with elderly persons. Also if your a tall person it may also be uncomfortable.

• Tanja (9/5): Spacious apartment in a great location to explore the culture and history of Athens - Spacious for our family of 5, clean and fantastic location close to the Metro and Acropolis. You don’t need a car as you can get around easily by foot. Plenty of places to eat out so we only had breakfast at home. Communication with Chris was excellent with very clear instructions. Very good value for money and ideal for our 3 nights before flying from the airport (half an hour away). As you’d expect in apartment living there’s only one bathroom. Not a problem for us but be aware.

• Alistair (10/5): Athens is a wonderful experience and a beautiful city and we all agreed to return there soon, and, if possible, stay in - The property was clean, spacious, functional and uncluttered (a bonus with three children in tow). We loved the location which was in a normal residential area that meant we experienced the ‘real’ Athens. We were surrounded by all manner of shops so buying groceries was not difficult. A few minutes away was the tourist hub that is Plaka with its excellent cafes and restaurants. A short walk to the top of the street led you to the base of the Acropolis.
