Everything was very clean and the facilities around the pool were exceptional. The host was always available and super helpful. The plants around the pool made it feel like a little corner of paradise. There are lots of steps to get to the apartments so you need to be prepared for that, or download Uber.

• JENNIFER (10/5): First time in Croatia and made perfect by staying at Luigi Apartments. - Our host Ivan was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful views across town to the sea. On our departure day we were very grateful we could hang around and use the stunning pool until boarding our boat. Great location, although a few stairs down to the roads below and to Old Town. Would definitely stay again. Nothing.
• Tomo 087 (5/5): - Unfortunately, the apartment did not meet expectations. We stayed at apartment number 1. The interior is very dated, and the photos on Booking.com do not reflect its current condition. The balcony was not clean, and the shower was very small with doors that did not close properly, and there was visible Mould, shower area could do with a good deep clean. That said, the water pressure was excellent. The bedroom had very little space to move around the bed, which itself was small and uncomfortable, with pillows of poor quality. Overall comfort was lacking. Additionally, the 10am check-out time feels earlier than standard. At Check -in the Host meet us to hand over the keys in his Speedo's swimwear and was wet from swimming then proceed to bring us to our apartment whilst still wet (It was a bit weird, first impression). With some maintenance and improvements, this place could be much better, but as it stands, I would not return.

• Gemma (8/5): Bonita estancia - El propietario es muy agradable, y las instalaciones exteriores son fantasticas: preciosa piscina con hamacas para tomar el sol y un jacuzzi super relajante. Esta relativamente cerca del centro historico. Para ir siempre ivamos andando y para volver cogiamos un Uber ya que era subida. Habia una cama de matrimonio elevada a la que se accedía por escaleras y debajo un sofa cama. El sofa cama era muy incomodo y en mi caso me levanté con dolor de espaldas. La siguiente noche dormí en la cama elevada, y si bien dormí mejor, tambien era incomodo si te levantas por la noche.

• Isabelle (6/5): Bof - La piscine et le jacuzzi Nous avons loué par erreur le studio. La description parlait d’une chambre avec un lit double et d’un sofa convertible dans le salon. En fait, on a dormi à 4 dans la même pièce (la « chambre » est un simple lit mezzanine) et c’est très sombre. Onéreux pour ce que c’est !!

• Audrey et Guillaume (10/5): Merci Luigi ! - Emplacement à 20' de la vieille ville, sur les hauteurs pour une belle vue, et à l'écart de tout bruit. Luigi est une personne très avenante, arrangeante et accueillante. Nous étions au paradis avec l'accès piscine et jaccuzi. Nous aurions pu séjourner sans problème pour une durée plus longue. Le matelas du BZ était un peu fin mais rien de méchant.

• Gareth (10/5): Great base for exploring Dubrovnik with a beautiful pool. - We loved being able to take a dip in the refreshing pool after a hot day exploring Dubrovnik. The pool had lots of sun loungers, a shower, toilets for men and women, and even a small outdoor kitchen area to cook a meal! The apartment kitchen was well equipped and meant we could provide our own breakfasts and lunches. The walk into town was straightforward and takes about 20 mins, down some lovely little streets on the edge of the old town. The location is convenient if arriving by Boat or by bus. Air conditioning was good and in the bedroom and lounge/kitchen. The wifi worked fine and was fast enough for the needs of a tourist. Nothing.
• Andżelika (10/5): Pobyt wart każdej ceny ze względu na możliwość relaksu w basenie i jacuzzi. - Wszystko! Byliśmy w czwórkę z chłopakiem, siostrą i jej chłopakiem. Mieliśmy pokój z łóżkiem piętrowym nad kanapą. Pokój choć wydał nam się mały był bardzo funkcjonalny, było w nim wszystko (żelazko, suszarka do prania, ekspress do kawy, wygodne łóżka, piękna łazienka, ogromna szafa o przestrzeń na walizki i plecaki) a nawet więcej niż byśmy chcieli (urządzenie do grzanek, nastrojowe światła, stolik przed pokojem, przy którym można było zjeść śniadanie). Po długich spacerach po Dubrovniku relaks w basenie i w jacuzzi było idealnym zakończeniem dnia. Mieliśmy basen praktycznie dla siebie każdego wieczora w trakcie wszystkich 3 dni, bo w obiekcie oprócz nas były rodziny z dziećmi i gdy my tam byliśmy to ich już nie było. Trochę trzeba było iść pod górę, ale widoki wszystko wynagradzały 😊 Właściciel zorganizował nam transport z lotniska, więc niczym nie musieliśmy się martwić. Był bardzo miły i pomocny. ❤️ Dziękujemy za wszystko! 🥰 Było idealnie ❤️ To najlepsze miejsce w jakim nocowaliśmy w Chorwacji. Bardzo polecamy. Nie było takich rzeczy. Wszystko super ❤️

Lokalizacja również świetna – cicho, a jednocześnie blisko do wszystkiego, co potrzebne. Właściciel niezwykle pomocny i uprzejmy, zawsze gotów doradzić i szybko reagujący na wszelkie pytania. • Christine (10/5): Vue mer et calme à deux pas de Dubrovnik - Très bel appartement avec piscine et superbe vue sur mer, disposant d’une terrasse privative. Situé à 20 minutes à pied de la vieille ville de Dubrovnik, accessible par de jolies ruelles. Accueil très sympathique, une belle adresse pour découvrir la ville.

• Arno (9/5): Dubrovnik oasis! - Super friendly host who was always available and happy to deal with any request. Amazing pool area with enough shade, a large and clean pool, a nice bar, barbecue and jacuzzi area, beautiful landscaping and good views of the city. The apartment we stayed in was large, clean and cosy with a large terrace. It was fully equipped. During hot Summer days it’s a heavy walk with a lot of stairs to and from the old town or any restaurant, but nothing Uber can’t fix..

• alison (6/5): Layover before catching ferry to korcula - Location excellent but there are a lot of steps do need to be fairly fit to go up and down daily The owner was rushed when we arrived and rather rude as we had forgotten to pay the 4 euro city tax. We did pay it but he was a bit short about it.
• Angelika (9/5): Tolles Quartier in super Lage und absolut freundlichem Besitzer - Der Vermieter ist absolut freundlich und bemüht! Parkplätze sind auf Anfrage auch vor dem Quartier vorhanden! In 30 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt ! Der Appartement hatte leider keinen Balkon und war sehr finster! Da man im Aussenbereich alles benutzen konnte (auch Liegen, Sitzgelegenheiten) war es für eine Nacht absolut ok! Die Betten bestanden aus einem wackeligen Hochbett und einer ausziehbaren Couch!

• Hancock (9/5): Great apartment with a pool in a good location - Everything! No socket near the mirror for drying my hair. A folder of useful information like where is the bus stop, where is the nearest supermarket, where are the steps down to the bus stop/supermarket would be really useful. Unfortunately, one night there were some noisy guests by the pool who didn't stick to the 2300 curfew.

• Fiona (9/5): - I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Luigi apartments with my daughters. We had booked the studio apartment which was quite compact for 3 but clean, comfortable and great value for a budget option. The outdoor area with pool was excellent and we enjoyed sitting out in the communal area and made use of the honesty bar. The host was very welcoming and responsive to any queries we had. As other guests have mentioned, the apartments are about 20 minutes walk to the old town but this meant the apartments are quiet and relaxing away from the crowds, up on the hill with amazing views. We will definitely make a return visit. The only downside was that the raised bed was quite squeaky and wobbly and so wasn’t the most restful
• Karen (10/5): Fabulous - A really well-equipped apartment, spacious with lovely decor. The balcony was huge with excellent views. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds. The balcony was equipped with just one sun lounger, but we didn't need it as unfortunately the sun didn't reach the balcony. The area is lush with planting but it did obscure some of the view.

The location is great – very close to the city center, so you can easily reach everything on foot. Back to the apartment we took an Uber to avoid the climb :-) The apartment looks exactly like the pictures: clean, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool and patio was a great plus. A special shoutout to the host – super friendly, always quick to respond, and available on site if needed. I felt completely at ease and would definitely stay here again! /

• karin (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf vlak bij Old Town - Het balkon met het prachtige zeezicht. Heerlijk zwembad. Een goed uitgeruste keuken met een wasmachine. De locatie was fijn, vlakbij de oude stad. We konden voor de deur parkeren. In het grote appartement zat de AC in de woonkamer. Het bleef daardoor in de slaapkamer vrij warm. Er was gelukkig wel een fan aanwezig.
• ChrisWinter (9/5): - Tolle Terrasse mit schöner Aussicht. Wunderbare Poolanlage auch mit Jaccuzi. Der Parkplatz ist zwar direkt am Haus, aber mi 20 Euro pro Nacht auch nicht wirklich günstig. Das Schlafzimmer ist zu eng. Wenn man aufsteht klebt man direkt an der Wand. Das Bett selbst ist sehr weich und auch sehr klein. .

Samo miejsce cudowne, widok na dubrownik, basen, lezaki, dostepna wspolna kuchnia i taras. • Elles (7/5): - prima appartement voor kort verblijf vriendelijke verhuurder beschikbaarheid van zwembad en extra buitenruimte voor 4 personen beetje krap met slaapbank in woonkamer. terras van dit appartement was verzonken en had weinig zon. handdoeken mogen een keer vervangen worden.
• Ranjita (9/5): Schoon, netjes, modern, alles aanwezig - Gastheer was zeer vriendelijk, appartement was super, schoon, mooi uitzicht, echt geweldig! Er was een zwembad en een jacuzzi wat heerlijk was, zelfs was er een klein fitnessapparaat. Ik vond het qua prijs kwaliteit heel top. Ze hadden ook een prachtige buiten keuken met alles erop en eraan, overdekt. Echt top. Wat alleen jammer was is dat ik eerder een betere deal had, maar wegens omstandigheden de data veranderde (week opschoof) en dat ik niet meer voor dezelfde prijs kon boeken. Het is wel mei en het weer was helaas niet de hele tijd goed dus we konden niet de hele tijd gebruik maken van buiten zwembad. In verhouding wordt het dan wel duurder. Maar nogmaals, de gastheer was fijn en dat maakt een hoop goed. Ik zou er terugkomen als ik weer naar het mooie Dubrovnik ga. Accomodaties was perfect

• vidal (10/5): - Bel appartement avec superbe vue et terrasse et piscine en prime. Parking sur réservation et 20 minutes à pied de la vieille ville. L'absence de volets sur la baie vitre du balcon.
• Andreas (9/5): Alles in Ordnung, gerne wieder, wenn ich hier bin. - Das Zimmer ist sauber, der Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir waren im April da und haben den Pool nicht benötigt, aber die Anlage sieht echt toll aus und wird auch gut gepflegt. Sicher im Sommer ein Plus!!! Der Vermieter ist jederzeit ansprechbar und hilft immer. Vor dem Haus kann das Auto geparkt werden. Der Stellplatz sollte vorher angemeldet und gebucht werden. Zu Fuß erreicht man die Altstadt in ca. 10-15 Minuten. Das ist voll in Ordnung. Man muss halt dazu ein paar Treppen steigen, denn die Unterkunft liegt am Hang, aber das ist nicht weiter schlimm. Schließlich spart man sich die teuren Parkgebühren in der Stadt. Der Stellplatz für das Auto hat 20€ extra gekostet. Das war über Booking.com leider nicht so erfahrbar und ich finde das schon teuer.

• Stephanie (9/5): Belle propriété parfaitement située - Proximité du centre historique, espace commun (jacuzzi et piscine) au top. superbe vue. Propriétaire très sympathique et présent. Manque de place pour le stationnement du véhicule mais option de parking payant chez le propriétaire à réserver pour plus de sérénité.

• Marie (9/5): - Det var rigtig hyggeligt og god stemning. Det var en stor lejlighed med god plads og alt i udstyr. Dejlig pool og spa samt fælles område - vi havde desværre kun en overnatning, og kommer gerne igen☺️ Parkering er lidt dyrt.
• Joanna (9/5): Fantactic stay! Great host, ideal location and beautiful pool! - We had lovely few days at Luigi apartment. It was more spacious than expected! Apartment was clean and well equipped. If something was missing (for us a can opener :)) our host Ivica was instantly helpful. Few things to highlight: - the host: Ivica met us upon arrival and showed as the apartment, pool and all facilities. He was always available for questions but is very discreet and super nice. - the pool - our daughter was delighted! It is quite deep (1,5m) so for confident swimmers and kids under supervision - the location - the flat is situation 20 min walk from the Old Town. It is an easy and mostly picturesque walk. It felt very safe too. In no time you are in the heart of Dubrovnik! We did not drive at all there. We parked in front of the property upon arrival and did not use the car until departure - which was fantastic as parking at Dubrovnik can be a challenge. Also, the flat is only less than 30min away from Dubrovnik airport so the journey on the departure day was not stressful. This is not specific to this appartent but in general to Croatia - mosquitos!!!

• Quentin (10/5): - Logement du 26 septembre au 03 octobre 24 Le logement est tres bien situe par rapport au centre ville, 15 mins à pied, La vue du logement est tres belle, Le proprietaire est present tout en restant discret. Si on a besoin de lui il repond present. Le logement est bien equipe, seche cheveux, serviettes pour la plage et piscine sont presentes et pareil pour la cuisine et le reste, Tout est complet. Il y a meme possibilite de faire un barbecu! Trop d'escalier dans la ville.. La ville est un peux cher quand meme, Au niveau du logement on peut si on le veux, Avoir a notre disposition un parking, Mais c est 15e par jours, Ce n est pas obliger c est un plus mais 15e, Meme si ce n est pas facile pour ce garer dans la rue, C est peut etre un peux elever.
• Alexander (9/5): - Schönes Apartment mit genügend Platz. Dazu war eine kleine Poolanlage vorhanden. Sehr netter Besitzer und die Räumlichkeiten waren sauber. Anreise zu Fuß ist aufgrund vieler Treppen eher mühselig.
• Julia (10/5): Nothing short of magnificent. Hvala vam puno na prekrasnom boravku! - Everything! The owner Ivan was so hospitable, courteous, kind & concerned his guests are happy. At every turn, Ivan went out of his way and even drove us to the airport when we couldn’t get a taxi. It was also so peaceful and a beautiful place. Nothing.

• margaret (10/5): - The lovely welcome from our host. All the info that we required was immediately available from Luigi & our apt with the on site facilities were perfect. A brisk 20 minute walk brought us right into Old Town Dubrovnik and 10 minutes from local supermarket/bakery. There wasn't anything to dislike.

La casita es muy mona con lo justo y necesario. El jacuzzi y la psicinas increibles. También tiene un pequeño bar y una barbacoa que puedes usar sin problema Algo difícil el acceso si vas caminando ya que está el lo alto de una colina
• Carol (10/5): A perfect Place to Stay For Us! - Lovely room. Fab view from balcony and super pool/ hot tub/ BBQ area. We really enjoyed using the pool after a morning of sight seeing and also took a couple of lazy days around the pool to relax during our stay. So clean, beautiful and very peaceful, it was September when we stayed. The property is on 4 levels, located in a residential area on a hillside. There are 4 guest rooms at the property, one on the top floor and 3 on the first floor just above the pool floor. The host lives in the middle floors and has mastered the art of being discreet, but available if required, he was absolutely great, friendly, helpful and informative about the Dubrovnik area, we loved our chats. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. We stayed in Room 1- sea view with balcony - (a smaller bathroom than room 2 , but you get the view and we loved the beautiful balcony, so nice for a meal or drink). The location was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas and about a 15-20 min walk to the Old Town and close to a bus route (No 3 or 8 get off at Sumica stop). We found it easier to turn right out of the property and walk down the narrow road towards the Old Town rather than doing the steps to the left. It actually seemed quicker and it we enjoyed the greetings with local residents. We had bought a Dubrovnik Pass (see Tip below) so after lots of walking (be prepared for the steps and hills) we would catch a bus back from Pile Gate.(All bus journeys cost 2.5E but are included in the pass. It does go around the Port area, but they were fun to catch and saved our legs. Once the bus has turned on to A.Hebranga - look out for the Pet place and Dubrovnik Beer Company - it's then 4 stops to the Sumica stop. Get off the bus and go up the steps on the opposite side. The property is also walking distance to the Gruz Port/ Lapad area and you can also bus back if we required. We loved it and wouldn't change anything. It was perfect for us and we would love to go back to the Luigi Apartments again. TIPS: We bought a Dubrovnik Pass. It really saved us money (Dubrovnik is not the cheapest city to visit) . You can have a 1, 3 or 7 day pass. It covers many of the sights (the Walls, Fort, Rector's Palace etc, plus the buses and discounts at some restaurants) You can buy it there or online before you go and you get a QR code on your phone. It activates the first time you use it. Note you can get a card bus ticket at the kiosk at Pile gate if you take a print out of the original pass. You can then use this to swipe on any bus. If you use your QR code on the bus you get a paper receipt- ok for 24 hrs but not so good for longer. Eating - out. Belmondo Take Away Pizzas were great. Close to Apt. Closed on Tues. Ice creams outside Pile gate at the Dubravaka were half the price of those inside the Old City. Buffet Skola sandwich shop. Quirky place off Stadun. Make their own bread and cheese. Great, filling sandwiches for 7E and the ladies are lovely. You need to book restaurants with views in advance (some well in advance). They do have walk ins. We managed to pre-book one by going to the restaurant a few days before and did a couple online. Our favourite evening meals were at the Azur and the Rudjer, but it is a question of likes and taste, there's loads to pick from. Supermarkets: Supermarkets and bakeries are cheaper outside the Old Town. We found a supermarket, I think called Konzum to be one of the best- cheaper and more range. Turn left from the apt and it's down 1 lot of steps, over the road and down another lot of steps (go when it's cool). Just book it, take your comfy shoes and have a great time.

• Mariia (7/5): Nice place to stay - The property itself is amazing, very nice pool zone. The host is very friendly and polite We’ve booked the simplest room for a night, where the bed is upstairs and not comfortable at all.
• Daniela (4/5): Monolocale piccolissimo, letti non adeguati. - La posizione era circa a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro, ma c’era molto caldo quindi abbiamo sempre utilizzato il taxi Avevamo prenotato il monolocale, ma era piccolissimo, non adatto ad una famiglia di 4 persone. I letti era davvero molto scomodi. Un letto era composto da un divano letto da una piazza e mezzo che non era nemmeno preparato e abbiamo dovuto farlo noi con delle lenzuola di scarsa qualità. L’altro letto, sempre da una piazza e mezzo era costituito da un letto a castello posizionato sopra il divano letto. Mancava l’aria. Piscina piccolina, non l’abbiamo utilizzata.

• Efrosyni (8/5): - We loved the pool, Jacuzzi and whole apartment vibe was awesome. Good owner, he was accommodating and helpful. Good location, ten minutes on foot down to the Old Town, but not for the faint hearted. Croatia is the city of steps and the apartment is hard to find as there is no obvious signage and it is located on a mountain side, carved into the hill and you locate it from the back. Very narrow roads up there so be careful. Apartment was cosy with double bunk bed and sofa bed. Bathroom was good size, but a little dirty. Apartment had kitchen, table and TV. Good air conditioning too. Whole place needed a good clean in some places as it was stained or well worn. For example the radiators were dirty and the door was stained and needed a wipe. Bathroom floors were dirty in corners as were the window blinds. However we still enjoyed the stay and loved the pool and bar area and Jacuzzi. Parking was tricky, small tight space and owner has to help us get into the spots. (There were only three). Lots of mosquitos, needed nets, not wooden shutters, as they just came through so we had to keep windows shut.

• Sam HALLAC (9/5): De man die het huis bezit is erg goed, helpt je en adviseert je over wat je nodig hebt - Het zwembad was erg schoon en mooi en van de jacuzzi hebben we ook genoten. De kamer was groot genoeg voor 4 personen. De kamer was niet schoon genoeg.

• Jelle (10/5): Heel mooi en comfortabel verblijf, bij een top host! - Host is top! Heel warme, vriendelijke man, altijd beschikbaar voor hulp. Heel attent. Het verblijf zelf is schitterend, rustig en met prachtig zwembad. Er is ook een jacuzzi en je mag als je wil gebruik maken van alle faciliteiten rond het zwembad, waaronder een keukentje en bar. Kamer die we hadden, een studio, was heel verzorgd en voorzien van alle gemakken. Met 4 is de ruimte misschien wat beperkt maar we hebben ons hier niet aan gestoord. Bakker en supermarkten op wandelafstand. Wel klimmen (via trappen) want appartement ligt op zekere hoogte. Eigenlijk niets. We zouden zo terugkeren! Je moet er misschien enkel rekening mee houden dat het een dik kwartier wandelen is naar de oude stad. Als je naar het appartement wandelt, is dat bergop en dus vermoeiend tijdens de hete zomermaanden. Er is echter een bushalte op enkele minuten wandelen. Lijn 8 gaat naar het centrum en rijdt tweemaal per uur. Als je terugkeert kan je ook lijn 3 nemen. Bus zit in de city pass.
