- Thara (8/5): Schitterende hotel op mooie locatie met vriendelijk personeel - De ligging van het hotel is prachtig. Hotel zelf is ook heel idyllisch en de eigenaar onwijs aardig en behulpzaam. Eten in het hotel (ontbijt en diner) is heerlijk. De route naar het hotel is wat zoeken. Zeker het laatste stuk omdat het binnen de muren van het kasteel ligt. Dit is een voetganger gedeelte. Hoewel er staat aangegeven dat er eigen parkeerterrein is kan je er slecht tussen bepaalde tijden komen die nergers echt duidelijk zijn. Ergens tussen 18.30 en 10u s ochtends gaat er een paaltje naar beneden. In de tijd kan je betaald parkeren op de parkeerplaats daarvoor. Met onze backpack en rolkoffer was het nog een flinke klim naar boven. Wij hebben besloten de auto overnacht ook maar beneden te laten staan om gedoe en klok kijken in de ochtend te voorkomen.

The warm and lovely hosts made our stay really comfortable. The food is great - we tried the byrek (pie) for dinner and had the house breakfast. Not so much something we didn't like, but just a note to guests to ring the host and ask for directions once you're in Krujë by the Old Bazaar 😊 GPS will send you the wrong way.

- Naima (10/5): Séjour inoubliable, je le referais sans hésiter - Tout était parfait, de la localisation (résidence type château perchée en haut de la montagne), la vue le matin avec le lever du soleil est à couper le souffle, le petit déjeuner est copieux et très délicieux, le personnel (le hôte ainsi que sa femme sont très accueillants). Le diner (non compris dans le tarif) était super bon également, on a pu découvrir des spécialités locales. La chambre est un peu petite, mais ce n'était pas genânt, ensuite l'accès en voiture est un peu compliqué, le GPS a du mal à trouver le bon chemin pour accéder à l'établissement, mais l'hôte était disponible pour venir nous chercher en voiture.

Man merkt dass die Gastgeberin sich sehr viel Mühe gibt. schöner garten/aussenbereich wo man auch ein stilles plätzchen für sich allein finden kann. sehr nah an der burg kroja . gutes essen, die gastgeberin ist ein sonnenschein 🥰 es gibt viele katzen zum streicheln . ich finde ich es nicht okay Ausstattung anzugeben die überhaupt nicht vorhanden ist. wie zb. fernseher und fireplace .... Bin gewohnt beim Fernsehen einzuschlafen, doch stattdessen war leider nur Hundegebell zu hören und die klappernden fenster, die der wind bewegte. das bett war extrem unbequem. ich konnte die ganze nacht nicht schlafen. weshalb der tag darauf komplett verloren ging. ich konnte wegen rückenschmerzen meinen rucksack nicht tragen 😔

The staff did not speak good English but finally found us and picked us up Rooms are very old and basic. Lights did not work. So it was dark ins the bathroom.

- Krey (5/5): Hat unsre Erwartungen überhaupt nicht erfüllt - Die Lage mitten in der Burganlage ist schon etwa besonders. Frühstück war okay. Die Anfahrt ist schon etwas abenteuerlich. Das Zimmer ansonsten war okay, ist halt ein altes Gebäude, aber es ist alles sehr ungepflegt. Unser Zimmer war zudem dreckig. Vor dem Bett war ein alter Kamin, mit entsprechenden Stufen die auch noch mit Teppichen abgedeckt waren, man musste das Bett nach vorne verlassen um sich nicht zu verletzen. Der Vorraum zum Zimmer roch nach Katzenpi... Als wir ankamen sahen wir wie Katzen im Speisezimmer auf dem Tisch gefüttert wurden. Uns hat es nicht gefallen.

- Elisabeth (7/5): Prima verblijf: elementaire accommodatie met sublieme ligging - De uitzichten in Merlika waren prachtig. De ligging is absoluut prachtig. Het hotel is omgeven door een heel gezellige buitenruimte. De communicatie vooraf ging vlot. Het onthaal was vriendelijk, de bediening bij avondeten en ontbijt was goed. We konden dichtbij parkeren. Je zit vlakbij het kasteel, de oude stad en de Bazaar die een bezoekje waard zijn. Wij wisten dat het kasteel van Krüje een prima locatie is voor een 'welcome to Albania'. De kamers, bedden en het sanitair bieden weinig comfort, maar waren wel netjes. De aankleding is een beetje sjofel. Voor ons werd dat gecompenseerd door de authenticiteit ervan. Onze kamer lag ten dele in de rots gehouwen. Bepaalde zaken waren niet voorzien en moesten we gaan vragen, zoals handdoeken en toiletpapier. Voor mensen die niet zeer goed te been zijn, kan de toegankelijkheid tegenvallen.

Me dejé la mochila allí sin ningún problema mientras visitaba kruje. Su mujer muy amable y atenta en todo momento. Antes del viaje todas las preguntas que tuve me las contestaron al momento. - Larry (8/5): Worth the view - We loved staying inside the castle walls and the view (especially the sunset) and food were fantastic! Room was clean and sufficient. You feel like you're on top of the world! You can walk to old town with restaurants and market from this hotel. Be aware that the room has trip hazards (you're in a very old building with stairs and stones), the double bed could have been more comfortable and the linens could be newer and better quality. The drive up to the hotel is very nerve-wracking.

- Mickael73290 (1/5): A éviter!!! - Le cadre était beau avec une jolie vue dégagée sur la plaine et la mer. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas eu la chambre attendue (pas la meme que sur les photos). Chambre minuscule, insalubre. Les draps sentaient le chien mouillé. Les prises sortaient du plafond et la mousse de l'isolation également.... Pas de television comme mentionné dans notre réservation. Nous en avons fait part au personnel mais ils s'en foutaient et pas d'excuse. Pas dautres chambres dispos. Dans la salle de bains, une fin d'un rouleau de papier WC....pas assez pour une nuit. Un desastre! Nous avons été surpris d'un tel manque de confort et de sympathie de la part de notre hôte.

- Leonie (9/5): Ruhige Oase mit toller Aussicht - Sehr tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse, die sich lohnt. Unser Zimmer war einfach und eher klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend für einen Aufenthalt von einer Nacht. Mit dem Auto ist die Anfahrt etwas abenteuerlich, am bzw. teilweise über den Basar.

- Aneta (3/5): Widok to nie wszystko. Nie polecam. - Obiekt położony jest w ładnej lokalizacji - ma bardzo ładny widok z tarasu/restauracji. Nasz lot się opóźnił, nie było problemu z zameldowaniem w środku nocy. Nawigacja prowadzi w zupełnie inne miejsce - w nocy ciężko było dostać się do obiektu. Pierwszej nocy, już po opłaceniu noclegu (4 osoby, 2 pokoje) pracownik zaprowadził nas do pokoju - okazało się, że z naszymi pokojami "coś jest nie tak" i na jedną noc przydzielono nam 1 pokój, poinformowano nas, że następnego dnia po śniadaniu będziemy mogli go zmienić. Podczas zamiany pan zaproponował, aby jedna para została w pierwotnym pokoju, bo "jest lepszy", jednak chcieliśmy dostać te, za które zapłaciliśmy. Był to błąd - jeden z pokoi był w miarę w porządku, drugi to jakaś porażka - maleńki, w łazience ledwo można było się poruszyć, mieści się tam tylko sedes, a nad nim "prysznic", którego słuchawka była uszkodzona, woda przelewała się w niej bokiem, woda z łazienki wypływała do pokoju. Brak udogodnień i wyposażenia opisanego w ofercie. Brak klimatyzacji. Było tylko mydło do rąk, o ręczniki po zmianie pokoju musieliśmy prosić, otrzymaliśmy je po jakimś czasie. Kiedy zapytałam o suszarkę do włosów, pan powiedział, żebym pożyczyła od znajomych z drugiego pokoju. Edit: Obiekt twierdzi, że proponowano nam lepszy pokój, a my wybraliśmy gorszy. W takim razie za jaki pierwotnie zapłaciliśmy? Jeden i drugi nie był taki, jak w ofercie. W tym pierwszym, rzekomo lepszym oświetlenie było słabe, łóżka podjadały korniki (było je słychać), strach było otworzyć okno, bo za nim była ogromna pajęczyna. Nie rozumiem komentarza o zachowaniu ciszy - nie zachowywaliśmy się głośno, nikt nie zwracał nam uwagi na miejscu, bo nie było takiej potrzeby. Wręcz przeciwnie, kiedy my byliśmy już w pokoju, słyszeliśmy jakąś grupę na zewnątrz, więc nie, to nie my. Śniadanie było bardzo małe jak na 4 osoby (po 1 jajku, pomidor, ogórek, dużo chleba, serek, masło, coś w stylu racuchów, które były suche), niezbyt smaczne. Inni goście otrzymali np. winogrona - nie wiem od czego to zależy, ale my nie.
- Maikel (9/5): Lovely and will come back. - Our stay at Rooms Merlika was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location, right inside the castle, is truly beautiful and offers breathtaking views. What makes this place so special, however, is the warm and inviting family that runs it. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating; whatever we needed, from arranging a taxi to providing tips on the best places to visit, they were always happy to assist. While it may not be a 4-star hotel in the traditional sense, this is more than compensated for by the incredible atmosphere. The combination of the stunning scenery, a delicious homemade breakfast, the company of their lovely cats, and the genuine friendliness of the owners creates a truly memorable stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Rooms Merlika to anyone visiting the area. We are already looking forward to the day we can come back! Nothing. All was good

- jessica (5/5): Ottima posizione e colazione.. per tutto il resto non ci siamo proprio! - Bellissima posizione per visitare la città, c’è una super vista.. la colazione buona seppur disturbata da molte api.. e’ presente il parcheggio Camera piccola, il minimo per starci con una valigia aperta vicino al letto, ci hanno fornito 1 asciugamano a testa, mezzo rotolo di carta igienica e solo sapone per le mani, cuscini bassissimi.. fino a qui poteva anche essere accettabile.. solo considerando le altre cose positive descritte sopra.. tuttavia pur essendoci il condizionatore, alla richiesta di avere il telecomando ci è stato detto “ridendo” che era stato portato via da un cliente in precedenza.. abbiamo trovato il modo di accederlo in quanto era davvero molto caldo e non era possibile aprire finestra o finestra del bagno in quanto la camera affacciava direttamente sul ristorante e ci avrebbero visto tutti.. la mattina dopo abbiamo ricevuto la romanzina per il fatto che avevamo acceso l’aria condizionata non nella corretta modalità (era semplicemente in modalità freddo) e fuori veniva fuori acqua.. quindi in sintesi quello che è stato inteso è che non ci avevano dato il telecomando apposta per non farla funzionare.. altrimenti avrebbe creato problemi.. potevano spiegarci la situazione e accendere loro il condizionatore senza questa presa in giro!
- Arthur (5/5): L’emplacement est incroyable mais le reste était décevant. Pour avoir fait jusque là 4 établissements de ce type en Alba - L’emplacement est vraiment incroyable et le lieu atypique. La chambre est très rustre et le matelas n’est pas confortable. Une seule serviette de bain (et pas des plus agréables), pas de serviette de sol pour la douche. Aucun produit de douche.
- Hans (5/5): Matig - Locatie, prachtig uitzicht Huisje zeer matige kwaliteit, niet geheel schoon. s nachts om 03.00 uur gingen mensen inchecken met veel lawaai. Raar ontbijt van 8 tot 9, om 8.58 uur was er niemand meer voor een extra koffie o.id.

- Kees (7/5): Heerlijk! Prima. 1 nacht is het iets te kort. - Locatie is geweldig. Schitterend uitzicht. De bazaar is erg leuk; Dat hebben we in Albanië niet meer zo gezien. Kasteel is prachtig Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende en lekker. Bewegwijzering, met name het laatste deel in het plaatsje zelf.

- Diego Giuseppe (1/5): - la posizione molto bella, fatevi dare le stanze nella struttura no i bungalow ci piove dentro e ti rovinano tutto ha piovuto nel bungalow (non è una stanza) solo alcune sono nella struttura altre sono dei bungalow, l'acqua entrata ci ha rovinato un PC portatile e la proprietà ha negato anzi dicendo che era colpa nostra . state attenti
