• doreen (8/5): Great value for money. - The people were very nice , the room was right on thd road so a bit noisy. The bed was comfortable , room had air con . Breakfast was good . I left at 4am taxi to airport and lady asked if i wanted coffee. Lots of nice food close to hotel and walking distance to square.

We were also able to check in earlier as the room was ready which was amazing as it was our last day in Albania so I really appreciate the extra time we had to explore the city of Tirana. Walking distance from the central area, and many amenities nearby.
• Tranell (10/5): A hidden gem - No elevator. Missing sign out front, but an employee came out and got me. The building seems old, but my room had modern attributes. Physical key for the door, but needed key card to activate electricity. Working air conditioner and black out shutters. Very close to the City Center and plenty of places to eat nearby. Owner and staff very, very NICE! Has a family feel to it. Breakfast starts at 7. Will definitely be returning.

• Astrid (10/5): - I stayed in hotel Kruja Tirana for 4 nights and then I returned for one extra night as I really liked it. From start to finish nothing was too much to ask, Customer service is the highlight here as well as location. One of the managers himself assisted me immediately with an issue I had with the bed , they provided me with a really comfy and new mattress topper which made all the difference, they helped me with my luggage and provided me with useful info about the area. The hotel is less than 8 mins walk to skanderberg square, very central. The staff is so friendly and they try to help as much as you can. Some speak good English some don't but they will try to help as much as they can. Breakfast is perfectly adecuate , is freshly cooked and tasty, considering I paid under £25.00 a night for a private room , I think it's great. There's plenty of hot water and towels as well. There's also a little bar on the ground floor which is handy. Things you do need to consider: There is no kettle in the room you do hear road noise but that's the same in any central location. Overall I definitely recommend this hotel due to its location , hospitality,value for money and convenience.

THe room was cold without heating, fortunately there was A/C which I used to warm the room a bit. Definitely have been accommodated in better hotels in Tirana. The only advantage of this one is its location near the main square. As far as the staff, I can´t say much because with the exception of the nice elderly lady in the breakfast room I didn´t meet anyone - I saw nobody at the reception desk at all.

• Gökcan (4/5): Bad Cleaning and Check in Experience - The cleaner came so late with the excuse of "Traffic" it took too much time to clean the room and we waited for so long. They kept lying us to wait for more. The old serving guy was very rude and he said something like" Okay no more talking, she is clening" I advice you to check other hotels when you decide to reserve hotels near Skenderbeg Square
• Tanuj (6/5): - The staff are friendly and the rooms are adequate. But the reception is often empty and the permanent staff don't speak English. The hotel's location is very good, a five minute walk from the city's main square. And a police headquarters is across the road, which should theoretically make it safer. The room had no heater and the staff bought packed snacks from a nearby store for the "breakfast included" part of the deal.

• CRAIG (4/5): - The best bits... close to Skanderbeg Square and next door to a good restaurant and bar. On to the not so good bits.... The hotel is very tired and needs some tlc. I don't expect home from home, but I expect the features to be as described... there was no rainfall shower, the TV was 22" not 32", there was no kettle, no daily housekeeping. My fridge door fell off, and the toilet leaked. I reported this but it wasn't fixed, just towels placed around the base of the toilet so that I didn't get my feet wet. Breakfast was rather uninviting also. I will say though, the bed was comfy.
• 352Andy (8/5): Good Hotel - Don’t expect luxury at this Hotel, this is basic Hotel but it’s a good one. The Hotel has a great location just a five minute walk to the main Square of Tirana, as well as the bus from the airport drop off point behind the Opera House. There are some nice bars and Restaurants nearby as well. Our room was clean with a hot shower, albeit is was very small and confined. The furniture is basic but workable. We had an issue with the air con but the owners quickly sorted it out. The bed mattress and Pillows were memory form but it was comfortable. Good window blinds which are blackout which have been updated, and windows block out the street noise as well. Breakfast wasn’t too good, sometimes there were no plates or cups available. Food was poor and In my opinion the Hotel needs to improve the whole Breakfast experience. On the whole a good value Hotel with no frills and great value for money.

• Adrian (2/5): Eländig upplevelse - När vi kom fram sent på kvällen fanns inget rum reserverat i vårt namn. Killen i receptionen hade varken koll eller befogenhet att göra något åt detta. Efter en del tjat från vår sida började han ringa några samtal. Det dröjde en dryg timme innan vi till slut fick ett rum. Men på rummet fanns inga kuddar, så vi fick rulla ihop överkastet och frottéhanddukar och lägga under huvudet. Det berodde på ”problem med tvätten” fick vi förklarat för oss. Morgonen därpå vaknade vi med bett på kroppen, så jag antar att det fanns vägglöss i byggnaden. Den enda kompensationen vi erbjöds för detta missöde var en dricka i hotellbaren. Vidare var frukosten eländig. Pålägg låg framme i timmar utan kylning och urvalet i övrigt var torftigt. Första morgonen var kaffet slut. Andra morgon fanns det kaffe men det smakade eländigt. När vi skulle åka var vår bil inparkerad på hotellets parkering. När vi äntligen kom iväg kändes det som en lättnad.
• Stephan (6/5): - Ich musste kurzfristig eine Nacht in Tirana übernachten, da mein Flug überbucht war und da ich nicht mit viel eigenem Geld in Vorkasse gehen wollte, habe ich mich für diese Unterkunft entschieden, da günstig und mit relativ zentraler Lage. Die Betreiber des Hotels waren sehr hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend, das Frühstück war ganz ordentlich. Leider ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das WLAN hat in meinem Zimmer nicht funktioniert. Für eine Nacht war es OK.

• Ramon A. (10/5): Very good value - Very good location, about 10 min from Skandenberg Sq. If you like to take public transportation, this is where you go. Hotel is on a main avenue and obviously it is a little noisy. However, they kept the window blinds closed so that decreased the noise level. Good a/c, clean bathroom. Room is adequate in size, has good internet access. On my 2nd day I was surprised that the personnel told me to have some breakfast, which was not mentioned in my reservation. All in all, I had a good time in this hotel.
• whenitraveltheworld (10/5): Cheap, Safe, Clean, Basic but value for money - I stayed for two nights. Nice clean room in a very central location and a 10 minute walk to the main square, the street it's on is busy but that means lot of places to eat on the way in for cheap. The room was clean , but the bathroom shower handle had a fair bit of limescale on it and could use some descaling. Bed was clean with nice firm pillows, my room had two tvs in it one which did not work and another placed in front of it. I paid 25 GBP per night for my room and that included breakfast, I can't find a fault in that at all. All the staff were very friendly and nice and the area feels good, there is a police station across the street so that explains all the police using the hotel cafe all the time downstairs. I would stay again.
• Erica (4/5): Great Location, But Disappointing Stay Due to Poor - The location is excellent, just a short walk to the city center. However, the hotel itself is quite old and outdated. There was a strong smell of smoke inside the hotel, and our room was so smelly at night that we had to use towels to cover the air vents. The staff was generally blunt and unwelcoming, with the exception of a young boy who was polite. The breakfast was terrible, served in a room that reeked of cigarettes, making it impossible to enjoy the meal. Additionally, staff members were listening to videos out loud, which added to the overall unpleasant experience

My bedroom was big, lots of hot water, towels and fast internet. Breakfast was buffet, not a big selection but everything was delicious. The location is great, just few minutes walking distance from the main central square, lots of places to eat and drink nearby. If I go back to Tirana surely I will stay at this same place.

Only criticism - a minor one - is the poor numbering on the doors. Otherwise, couldn't fault it

• Professeurdefrancais (8/5): A really friendly, welcoming and central little hotel - We've just spent 6 nights in his family-run hotel. It's ideally situated for all the sights and the staff are really lovely. The breakfast buffet was varied, there's a delightful garden to sit in and, although the rooms and furniture are a bit dated, they are spotless. We were under the weather for a couple of days - they even brought us lemon tea one afternoon and breakfast in our room. Some of the staff speak a little English. All the rooms face the busy street, so take earplugs! We are very happily returning for one final night at the end of our trip.
• Steven8480 (8/5): Very good - This hotel occupies the prime position in to the town. Has excellent views. The upper level pool is fantastic. The restaurant is of a great standard and very reasonably priced. The rooms are lovely. Spacious with nice air con. Perhaps the only reason for four stars and not five was because I found blood spots and female hairs on my bedsheet. I reported this and was given an immediate replacement however there was still long hairs on it but no blood so I made it acceptable. Overall a nice place though

• kikona (10/5): Pleasant facilities - The staff here are helpful and friendly. The restaurant has a very nice outdoor seating area, where you can have breakfast or just hang out during the day if you want. It’s on a fairly quiet street an easy walk to the main square.

It is centrally located and three minutes walk from the main Square. Good breakfasts, inside and outside dining and comfortable, air conditioned rooms.
