We loved the daily housekeeping and room amenities like the soap and lotion were of high quality. The location to The Strand, Uber Boat, theatre, and Bus number 9 were so helpful. W e would stay here again and no place else. I would love a vending machine in the lobby area for very late evening drinks!

From the instant we stepped through your doors, we were greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism that immediately set the tone for a special visit. The front desk team made us feel truly valued, assuring us that nothing was too much trouble and that our comfort was their priority. When we entered our room, we were delighted to find it beautifully decorated with festive balloons, chocolates, a chilled bottle of prosecco, and a sweet handwritten and illustrated birthday card. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the occasion feel even more special. The room itself felt like a tranquil oasis and a calm retreat from the lively energy of Covent Garden, which is just a stone's throw away. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the area, with theatres and transport links on the doorstep or a short walk away. Our room was immaculate, quiet, and incredibly cosy, like a cocoon that we never wanted to leave. I have to give a special shout out to the power shower; the water pressure was fantastic and made our showers a true ritual to both start and end the day. Honestly, I would return just to stay in the same room and enjoy that shower again! Throughout our stay, every single member of your team was consistently warm, friendly, and professional, which made us feel at home. We took advantage of their offer to stock the mini fridge at a very reasonable price. Housekeeping was faultless and the location very walkable for the major sites. crazeefrog (10/5): What a find! - This hotel was such a great find! We needed a room that had 3 beds for a girls’ trip, and those are few and far between in London, especially at a reasonable price. We were absolutely delighted by every aspect of this hotel. It’s ideally located (steps from Covent Garden and comfortable walking distance to Trafalgar Square, Buckingham palace, Big Ben, Westminster abbey, London eye, the theatre district, etc). The front desk staff are amazing - Graeme made our check-in experience a delight, and no matter who was on duty, we got a cheerful wave and greeting every time we walked by. Our room was clean and comfortable - and bigger than we expected - and three adult women and all their stuff were easily able to manage. And I thought the price was very reasonable, considering the central location and the room having 3 beds. I would definitely stay here again, and you should too!

Covent Garden, Soho and the West End are all right on your doorstep, yet the hotel itself feels calm and relaxed. The room was spotless, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, but the real highlight was the staff — genuinely warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We also had a small special request before arrival, and the team handled everything effortlessly and exactly as requested. A really nice extra touch and a great example of the level of service here. One of those rare hotels where everything just works. Would happily stay again.

The Resident was everything we could have wanted for this portion of the trip. Location is especially great for anyone coming to watch a few shows. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful with recommendations for the area. We were celebrating and they added their own special touch upon arrival. The location was perfect with everything within easy walking distance, making it very convenient to explore London. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Le pregunté a ChatGpt cuál era el epicentro de LONDRES (tipo el PANTEÓN en ROMA) y me dijo que STRAND & ALDWYCH. Y la verdad que sí, que creo que está bien. Pues bien, busqué hoteles en las inmediaciones de esa ubicación. Y creo que el "THE RESIDENT COVENT GARDEN" tenía en BOOKING alguna de las más altas calificaciones en la zona. Se trata de un hotel cuyo LOBBY es muy pequeño, es la recepción y poca cosa más. El personal es, a toda hora, extremadamente atento y simpático. La habitación era fantástica, verdaderamente. Tenía de todo. Muy confortable la habitación. Todo me pareció muy bien. O sea, el hecho de que no tenga un "LOBBY GIGANTE" no es tan importante. Nada que destacar que sea negativo o que pudiera mejorar. Dicho sea de paso, frente al hotel hay la que según ChatGpt es de las mejores tiendas para comprar whisky: "THE WHISKY EXCHANGE" (mi esposa está totalmente convencida de que escogí el hotel por esto pero no, fue pura casualidad).

Roger (10/5): Great place to stay for Theatre trips and London in general. - Location is spot on for the Theatre District and access to the middle of London. The fridge, microwave and filter water tap is great. Plus the staff are really helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be going back soon. Only items to be mindful off is there is no restaurant on site, but it’s not that type of hotel. And there is a Greggs next door and also a lovely cake shop that does breakfast and loads of cakes that are gluten and lactose free.

Ben1275 (10/5): Great hotel - Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on a family trip. The hotel has excellent location, close to public transportation, shops and numerous cafes and restaurants. Common areas and our room were modern, clean and pleasant. Our room (Junior Suite) was spacious and thankfully faced the back, which undoubtedly reduced the level of noise from outside. Service at the reception was very good throughout our stay. The hotel does not serve breakfast, and this issue is consequently not commented upon. Few issues which may be improved: 1. We were a party of two adults and one young adult, and therefore requested an extra bed. The bed that was placed in our room was comfortable and certainly adequate for a younger child, but too short for an adult. 2. The room has a safe, but this was too small for a standard 14’’ laptop, of which we had two. This will naturally not be an issue for those traveling with tablets or phones, but was inconvenient for us. 3. There is limited hanging space in the bathroom. Given this, we suggest hanging the bathrobes in the closet rather than there. We had to move them in order to be able to hang the towels. As for the latter, kindly advise housekeeping not to fold used towels. We wanted to re-use ours, but found it impossible to tell them apart. Despite these minor issues, this was a very good stay, and the hotel stands well above those we’ve experienced on earlier visits to London. We Therefore choose to grade it as excellent and are certain to return.

Cruiser67883299587 (10/5): Wonderful Property and Wonderful Staff - We recently stayed at The Resident Covent Garden TWICE on our recent vacation. We were in London for five days, took a few days to go to Paris, and then came back to London for an additional five days. The logistics of putting that together could have been a serious challenge, but Peter, the night-duty manager, helped me organize all my dates and times, and helped me make every last London-based arrangement that needed to be made. When we arrived at the hotel, we were shown to the loveliest room. It was clean, well-appointed, and the little kitchenette made traveling with medication easy. When we needed recommendations for where to go for meals, the front desk staff (special shout-out to Graeme and Seema, who NEVER steered us wrong!) always offered terrific suggestions, all within walking distance. It seems EVERYTHING in Covent Garden is within walking distance of the property...theaters, restaurants, pubs, shops...everything that you could possibly need/want on a vacation is easily accessible on foot. The neighborhood is safe, the property is terrific, and the staff is wildly accommodating...should we ever find ourselves in Covent Garden again, we will absolutely be staying at The Resident Covent Garden. 82Angela (10/5): 11 out of 10 - We have just returned from 3 nights at The Resident Hotel, Covent Garden. The hotel is situated close to many Restaurants, Coffee Shops, and a variety of shopping. It is located close to three underground stations and is very central for sightseeing. We were very pleased with our room, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was great and the kitchenette was an added bonus. The room was spotlessly clean and extremely quiet. The Staff at the hotel were fabulous, always friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations for restaurants for breakfast and dinner, which were close by and were excellent. Special mention for Graham and Seema who went out of their way to help make our trip special. We would recommend staying at The Resident Hotel, we loved it.
Claudinebg (10/5): Amazing location! - Amazing location—just a few minutes’ walk from Covent Garden, making it perfect for catching a show. It’s also only a short stroll from Charing Cross and within easy walking distance of many of the main attractions. There’s no on-site restaurant, but you’re surrounded by plenty of great dining options, and food delivery is easy and convenient. The staff were really nice and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable.

jcV4439TC (10/5): Impeccable in all regards - Truly outstanding. Every element was impeccable: service, cleanliness, finished; maybe without rival in those regards…and certainly for price. Location also wonderful whether: literally steps from dining, coffee shops, the river, Theater District; Trafalgar Square. Would recommend it highly, and would return in a heartbeat. The preceding lacks sufficient praise for staff and room service. Impeccable also applies there in all regards.
David (9/5): nice hotel, great location, easy walking distance to everything. - The location couldn't be better. Near to all the nightlife, restaurants, and sights. Graeme was VERY helpful. The room was a bit small and cramped. The shower floor (tub) was VERY slippery, and in my opinion dangerous. We unfortunately had a rental car - this location is not the place to have a car to deal with.
mattlove75 (10/5): Perfect Hotel for a London break - Just returned from a 3 day, 2 night stay at the Resident, Covent Garden. Only a few minutes walk from Charring Cross station, up the Strand and we were at the hotel. Perfect location to explore the city, perfect for shows (we did Stranger Things which was excellent) great for shopping, for evening entertainment, and a huge amount of places to eat out, all within walking distance. Staff are all so helpful and friendly, a real asset to the hotel. I was even presented with a lovely bottle of red wine when they discovered it was my birthday! The room was a standard double on the first floor. We were overlooking the Strand, but the triple glazed windows kept outside noise to a minimal level. Bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable. The small kitchenette hidden behind double doors was a great addition, along with the filtered water tap, kettle, nespresso and fridge. Lovely bathroom with a decent size shower, great water pressure and the added bonus of Molten Brown products to utilise. There's a reason why this hotel is highly rated and has so many good reviews, it will be first on my list for our next visit to London.

No dia do check-out, por volta das 7h da manhã, esqueci cinco anéis no quarto — incluindo minha aliança de casamento e anel de noivado. Cerca de 10 minutos depois, meu marido retornou ao quarto para verificar e os anéis já não estavam mais lá. Informamos imediatamente a recepção, e o hotel afirmou ter realizado uma verificação no quarto, porém nada foi encontrado. Considerando o curto intervalo de tempo entre a saída e o retorno ao quarto, a situação é extremamente preocupante. Trata-se de itens de alto valor financeiro e emocional, e até o momento não tivemos qualquer solução ou esclarecimento. Recomendo atenção redobrada aos hóspedes em relação à segurança de pertences pessoais dentro do quarto.
731padmas (10/5): Unforgettable Central London stay - Best hotel in London. Personalized touch to everything. It was a mom and daughter trip. We stayed at this hotel for 8 days in a standard room with 2 twins. The size of the room was plenty big for both of us with lots of storage and luggage space. The room and the bathroom was very clean. Freshly laundered fluffy towels were replaced everyday. Staying in such a clean place in central london is a luxury in itself. The hotel itself is very centrally located and has easy public transport to other parts of the city. A lot of places are walkable from the hotel. But the best part of the hotel is all its staff - be it Seema or Rahul or Graeme or the two other gentlemen whose name I forgot to get. They knew me by my name, greeted me so polutely every time I entered the hotel or left it and offered great recommendations for places to eat. This made me feel very warm and welcome. They even helped me book a cab to the airport. Very friendly and warm staff that makes the hotel deserve 10 stars all the way.

The hotel was amazing, unreal location, the bed was so comfortable, loved the Molton Brown products in the bathroom and how soundproof the room was so you couldn’t hear street noise. Also Seema who checked us in and out was so lovely and helpful and would really like to thank her for her hospitality.

Sabina (10/5): - We stayed at The Resident Covent Garden for a short trip to London, and it was an excellent choice. The location is perfect—very central, with several tube stations nearby, making it incredibly easy to reach all the main attractions. Many sights are even within walking distance, which made exploring the city very convenient. The room was fantastic: spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would also like to give special praise to the reception staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We received a very warm welcome, and any requests we had were handled with care and kindness. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London and will definitely stay here again on our next trip.
