Nos pusieron una cesta de bienvenida con cositas para desayunar, que agradecimos mucho porque nuestro avion llegaba de noche. El anfitrión fue muy amable explicándonos sitios para comer según sus recomendaciones. Por ponerle un "pero" éramos 10 personas pero sólo habia 9 sillas para sentarse porque una de ellas estaba rota y apartada. Por lo demás todo muy bien.

• Maria (9/5): Perfect location close to Vatican - As a large family and extended family of 16 people travelling together, our host Alberto met us onsite to orient us to the two apartments that were in buildings located approx 100 m apart.  Both units were clean, with a kitchenette, and there was a thoughtful welcome basket containing a loaf of bread, cookies, jam, and packaged croissants in each unit.   The elevator was very cool with a historic feel to match the city.  One apartment was on the seventh floor and the elevator only went to 6, so it was necessary to climb stairs for one flight.  However, this was a fair tradeoff for the "penthouse" with a lovely rooftop terrace. The best feature, though, was the excellent location within easy walking distance to the Vatican, and around the corner from the metro station.  We could easily get around the city with transit. Alberto gave us tips on the closest and most reasonable grocery store, and he was easily accessible by phone if we had any questions. We took the Terravision bus from the airport which has a Vatican stop approx 15-20 min walk from the apartments.  On departure, we were able to take the metro to Roma Termini and the next train for our onward journey.  Beds were not super comfy...some too firm, some too soft.

Po przyjeździe czekał na nas koszyk z podstawowymi produktami spożywczymi i winem, a ponieważ było juz późno, to dzięki temu mieliśmy cokolwiek na kolację Brak przechowalni bagażu na miejscu. Można było zostawić po wymeldowaniu na kilka godzin w sąsiedniej kamienicy ,za opłatą 5 euro/ walizkę

• MICHELLE MARIE (10/5): Wonderful! - I cannot be thankful enough to have such lovely hosts and a wonderful stay in San Peter Lory’s. The apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine with a dryer. The place was clean, modern and spacious. What makes this stay stand out the most is how wonderful June and Alberto were. They were quick to respond even late at night. We felt very welcome and supported. This review isn’t enough to give my heartfelt thanks to both of them. I’d definitely book with them again the next time I’ll go to Rome. Thanks again! Nothing.

Veľmi náš potešilo po ceste male občerstvenie pripravené v apartmáne. Lokalita cca 5 minút do Vatikanú - viete ísť ráno na omšu alebo obhliadku bez čakania v rade. Všeto bolo v poriadku

• Jessica (8/5): No dudaría en recomendarlo - Muy buena ubicación para alojarte en Roma ya que desde el apartamento es fácil desplazarte en metro/bus. La atención de Alberto fue excepcional (contesta mensajes de manera rápida, te recomienda restaurantes, buena recepción al llegar, detallista…). Cogimos dos apartamentos porque éramos un grupo grande. Uno de los apartamentos estaba recién reformado y se veía muy bonito. Pero el otro… se veía más viejo y algo deteriorado por el uso (aunque Alberto nos comentó que en un mes lo reformaba).
• Sergio (8/5): Alojamiento comodo y agradable para grupos. - Apartamento muy amplio, muy comodo y muy bien ubicado. La entrega de llaves fue muy buena y te dejan una cesta de productos a la llegada que es muy buen regalo. Para alojarse 10 personas, son necesarios sofas camas que no estan claramente especificados a la hora de reservar. Un baño está dentro de una habitación, generando ciertas molestias a la hora de dormir. Para tantas personas, solo dan dos llaves lo que dificulta un poco la gestión del alojamiento y encima el telefonillo no funciona.

• Trenton (10/5): Great location and fantastic host. - Nice location and first floor location was nice, especially with these types of elevators. Close to metro and Vatican. Good amount of hot water. Host was very responsive on texts, incredibly friendly, and super helpful once we were there (even provided us a small gift basket). No living room or dining room was a bummer. We made it work but a place to eat and talk at night would have been nice. I don’t like not having towel service or trash pick up. There were also no paper towels or shampoo. Would be nice to add those to the room for future guests. Elevators are very difficult and inefficient. I know this isn’t the owners fault or issue, but is worth noting that in a room that anticipates multiple people, there could be issues getting many suitcases up to the room. Also pretty typical for many places in Italy.

• Gaborson (6/5): jobbra szűmítottunk, kicsit rideg, és hideg lakás télen - nagyon kedves és rugalmas szállásadók, nagyon jó környéken van a szálláshely, és tágas amikor az ember belépett ebbe a földszinti apartmanba, a hideg kövezet által is olyan érzetünk volt, mintha egy váróteremben vagy egy hivatali helyiségben lennénk. Nagyon jó lakás lehetne ez, de ahhoz költeni kellene rá. Megértem ha szállá-kiadás miatt ezt nem teszik, de akkor viszont ez nem a várt szint - szerintem. Januárban sem sikerült 4-ből 2 funkcionáló légkondival (rossz elem a távirányítóban, nem fűt) bemelegíten legalább éjjelre, és bár 20-21 fokban alszunk jól, nem volt jó érzés ez. Az utcafront felől két szoba van, amelyből egyiknek az ablakán kiakadt a zár: fogselyemmel tudtuk a zárat visszabillenteni az első szellőztetés után, többet nem nyithattuk ki, mert úgy marad... Ezen kívül zajos reggelenként mindkét utcafronti helyiség. Csatornaszag is volt, de ez a legkevesebb. Az ajtózár is említésre méltó: értékeinket egy billenő zárnyelv "védte", vagyis nem lehetett zárni a bejárati ajtót. Összességében jobb szállást érzékeltem a képeken, és bár hiába kértek kedvesen 10/10 értékelés írására, ahhoz sokkal több pontban kellett volna megfelelnie a helynek. Sajnos előre foglaltunk, ottlétünkkor már voltak jobb adottségú, olcsóbb környékbeli elérhető szállások.

Nous étions 7 voyageurs ,un couple a dû dormir sur le canapé du salon. Le canapé est vétuste et sale impossible de dormir dessus, nous avons dû sortir le matelas et le mettre à terre. Par contre le logement est adapté pour accueillir 5 personnes..

• Lindsey (9/5): Great location, helpful and responsive hosts - This apartment was in a nice location, really close to the subway. The host met us at the property and was very informative and helpful. I also appreciated the prompt responses I received from these hosts when booking - they even arranged airport pick up. The apartment was clean, and the bedrooms are spacious. There were 7 of us staying in the apartment, it accommodated all of us nicely in regards to bedrooms and bathrooms, but the central gathering spot (kitchen) was a little small for all of us to sit and visit.

• Rossana (8/5): Soggiorno comodo e conveniente - L'host Alberto persona disponibile e gentile, ci ha fornito le indicazioni necessarie per raggiungere l'appartamento dalla Stazione Termini, che si trova a poche fermate di metropolitana. Ottaviano è una zona ben servita, tranquilla, con locali, ristoranti e bei negozi. Vaticano a due passi e con una bella passeggiata di circa mezz'ora si è in piazza Navona. Noi oltre alla metro abbiamo usato il bus 23 che ferma nei paraggi. L'appartamento è al piano mezzanino, ampio, arredato in modo essenziale. Pulitissimo, letti super comodi. Cucinino attrezzato. Riscaldamenti autonomi nelle stanze. Ci vorrebbe qualche miglioria nei dettagli, tipo i feltrini sotto le sedie, un appendiabiti e le tende oscuranti in camera perché entra molta luce dalle persiane. Comunque ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo Purtroppo dagli scarichi usciva cattivo odore che ha riempito l'appartamento. Una delle tre camere, quella sul cortile interno, è purtroppo molto rumorosa: ci passa il tubo di scarico degli appartamenti sopra, così si è continuamente disturbati dal flush delle acque e dal rumore dei motori dei condizionatori fuori dalle finestre. Sono cose ovviamente presenti nei palazzi storici riadattati.

• Truus (9/5): The apartment contributed to a wonderful stay in Rome in the Jubilee year 2025. - We were greeted by the host, who helped us very well with paying for the shuttle service. He then showed us the apartment. We received a very good map and, at our request, some tips about a local supermarket and restaurants. There was a welcome package with bread, jam, and cookies. During our stay, we had a question, which was resolved satisfactorily within 5 minutes via the app. Check-out was also very smooth; we could leave the key and close the door. The location is ideally situated near the Vatican City in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. Nothing to be mentioned here.

• Francisco Javier (8/5): Vivir Roma en un año Jubilar - La ubicación, cerca del Vaticano y del metro, que facilita mucho la movilidad por Roma. El apartamento tenía una cocina equipada y el anfitrión nos dejó un detalle para desayunar. Las camas no eran lo que estaba anunciado, ya que el apartamento se anuncia con 8 camas. Éramos un grupo de 8 adultos, y nos hubiese venido muy bien 8 camas, por lo que el apartamento quedaba muy justo. Las camas eran amplias y cómodas, pero los sillones cama, resultaban un poco incómodos. Aún así uno no viaja a Roma para dormir, pero necesita dormir para vivir la ciudad de Roma. Nos pudimos apañar bien.

• Karmen (10/5): - Odlična lokacija v bližini metroja in Vatikana. Pričakal nas je prijazen gostitelj, ki nam je vse razkazal in razložil. Dal nam je tudi nekaj nasvetov glede ogledov. Dobili smo tudi košarico dobrodošlice z nekaj sladkimi dobrotami, sadjem in marmelado. Apartma je prostoren, postelje udobne, kuhinja nudi vse kar potrebuješ. Manjka le mogoče kakšen obešalnik za jakne, to bi prišlo prav.

• Emilia (10/5): Szczerze polecam - Czysty, przestronny apartament, 3 pokoje i 3 łazienki plus otwarta kuchnia z duzym stołem. Jest winda, do windy trzeba wejsc 5-6 stopni. Bardzo blisko metro, Muzea Watykańskie i pl. Św. Piotra, sklepy, restauracje, kawiarnie, kościoły, locker. Bardzo dobra i zaangażowana obsługa. Kosz powitalny. Mogły być dostępne środki czystości do mycia naczyń skoro nie ma zmywarki, kupowaliśmy swoj płyn, gąbki, ścierki i ręczniki papierowe by na bieżąco sprzątać kuchnię po 8 os. Ogólnie innej chemii domowej nie brakowało.

Paolo qui nous a accueilli est très performante et très agréable. L'espace cuisine est très exigu et manque de confort. Il n'y a pas de salon.

• Soon (10/5): Excellent location and value for money. Highly recommend to travellers who need 3 bedrooms. - The property has 3 bathrooms which was convenient for us, as we have 3 couples. There are additional 2 foldable beds provided. 2 bedrooms with ensuite and another with bathroom outside. The location is very close to Ottaviano Metro and also Vatican City. There is a very nice market nearby, Mercato Trionfale, whereby one can buy cheap fruits and food. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The host provided us with bread, biscuits and also a bottle of wine. One room has a smaller superking size bed. However, we could compensate this by moving the mattress from the foldable bed.
• Hannah (10/5): Great stay for reasonable price! - The property is at the 7th floor with a lift to the 6th floor so there is a bit of walking but not a problem if you’re up for it. The location for the apartment that sleeps 5 was brilliant and so close to the Vatican City. The terrace was so lovely to have and the facilities the flat had were more than we could ask for. Alberto was lovely and helpful - he provided lots of local knowledge! Thanks so much.

• Daniela (9/5): Perfekte Unterkunft für eine große Familie - Perfekte Lage für eine Besichtigung von Rom - in 5 Minuten erreichten wir den Petersplatz, wir haben auch alle anderen Besichtigungen zu Fuß/mit der Metro erledigen können. Mit einem tollen Supermarkt und netten Restaurants in der Nähe ist auch die Verpflegung sichergestellt. Der Check-in war ganz unkompliziert - wir wurden empfangen und erhielten alle notwendigen Informationen. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gut klimatisiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

• Salvatore (8/5): Very good - The apartment was very spacious and clean with central air throughout, making it a most comfortable stay in the middle of summer. It is ideally located within a block or two to the metro subway station and convenient shopping market and a 14-minute walk to St. Peter's Basilica. The coffee machine and handful of coffee pods, as well as the welcome basket, complete with a bottle of wine (make sure you have a corkscrew). The kitchen was fully supplied with utensils, plates and mugs, and a toaster.. There are two elevators in the building, and if you don't remember to take the one on the right, you will end up in a different building that has the same interior building design. This happened to us, and when we turned the old skeleten key to the wrong apartment, the door opened to a barking dog. We quickly realized something was wrong. While the rooms were very spacious and air-conditioned, there was no furniture in the bedrooms on which to rest your bags, making it very uncomfortable with everything on the floor. While each guest was provided one bath towel for 2 nights, there was nowhere to hang 8 towels until their next use. These are suggestions for improvement, not complaints, as the comfort and location make this apartment ideal for a 14-minute walk to St. Peter's Basilica and access to metro that will take you to the colloseum.
