• Alastair (9/5): Luxurious five star location - Superb location overlooking Tamarama beach. Lovely big airy apartment with a big deck. Generally well-appointed. Big comfortable beds. Air con effective. Pretty quiet considering its location. Small things. A few more utensils would fit the luxury of the property - non-stick pans, coffee percolator. There was a minor problem with one bedroom door and with the bath plug.

We participated in the City to Surf race so the finishing line was only 1km away, brilliant after a long day. The apartment was very well maintained, styled, stocked with everything we needed and the views were so beautiful. Everything about the property itself was spot on. My only constructive feedback is that there is a pool in the photos that belongs to a different apartment (of which you have no access to). Silly thing is, the pool photos aren’t needed, the apartment great & the view is beautiful without the pool.

• Guy (9/5): Incredible views, location and access! Generously spacious and well designed apartment. - Incredible location, design and spacious. Very small comments - outdoor glass balcony's could have been a bit more clean and some of the seating a bit rundown. Tissue ran out quickly on 3rd day of stay, could just stock more in bathrooms. Downstairs bed could be cleaned, dusty around sides and behind bed itself.

Inclusions were a little lacking. If the property is gearing towards a boutique market then some inclusions would be nice. I.e better quality shower wash, hand wash etc. Very poor quality items supplied.

Big advantage is parking space in the garage. The appartment would need small refreshment, I mean new painting and renovation of stairs would help to feel the luxury of this place.

• Chuan (9/5): Great way to enjoy the coast. - Amazing location right on Tamarama beach. Sound travels from the other apartments so it can be a little noisy at times.

• Michael (6/5): Good location and size, but Pool not for the apartments to use and significant leaks - The location of the apartment is excellent and the apartment is very large and pretty well fitted out. The view is good although at the time we stayed there was a lot of building work which should have been mentioned before we stayed there. The cleaning lady was really helpful and tried her best to resolve problems. There is building work going on that rather spoils the view from the balcony. However, our biggest issue was there was a significant leak that poured down the wall when we arrived. The cleaner/management lady tried her best to stem but it did continue to leak throughout the stay. It was well known fault and the owner had clearly decide to try and patch as opposed to repair properly. We did also have a very disturbed night with guest upstairs blasting music late at night. It was so loud they could not hear us knocking to ask them to turn down. The other big issue is all the adverts make it appear that their is a swimming pool that comes with the apartment, this is not the case. It is the owner of the blocks private apartment. They did say we could use it at the weekend if we wished to as he was away but the reality is it was pretty unwelcoming - it is also not heated. Also in our apartments the balcony furniture is rather tired and needs replacing soon. Since we left and raised the issues they have completely ignored all our correspondence so will be making a formal complaint via booking.com
