• Funtek (1/5): Far Below Expectations - / I strongly recommend that all travelers carefully read the accommodation description before booking, as for a similar or even lower price, you can find much better accommodations/apartments in Barcelona. Although the location is in the very center of the city, it is extremely noisy, especially during the evening and night. Homeless people and individuals under the influence of drugs often sleep in front of the entrance, which in our opinion is definitely not a suitable environment for families with children. The apartment itself is also in rather poor condition. There is no direct access to the terrace from the apartment — you first have to go through the apartment entrance door into the shared hallway and only then access the terrace. Once there, you are faced with a large wall covered with anti-pigeon wire fencing, making the area feel quite unpleasant and prison-like. The apartment is accessible only via a large number of old and worn-out stairs (around 90), making it very difficult to carry luggage upstairs. The apartment also does not include a regular oven, only a microwave oven. Since we arrived very late at night, we stayed in the apartment for one night despite feeling uncomfortable and unsafe due to the noise and several intoxicated guests in the hallway. In the morning, we also noticed multiple bites on our bodies that strongly resembled bed bug bites, so we would recommend that the owner thoroughly inspect and properly clean/check the mattresses and bedding. We then left the accommodation and found a much better apartment in a four-star hotel for a lower price, where the overall experience was significantly better.

Appartment situated to a calm area has not good view from the window, but for us better than with a view to Placa Reail with night life.

Perfect spot to be on one of the most iconic Plaza and only 5 mnts walk to the metro station Lots of stairs… not good unless for very fit people! The apartment needs some refurbishing: sofà stained, walls should be repainted, no light on the kitchen stow and little obstructed shower drainage.. Beds mattresses and linen really comfy! I do think that with a little of extra work it would be a really nice unit! Very silent and quite considering being in the very middle of a very busy area… Climbing those 5 floor is like reaching heaven on the beautiful private terrace!

Grande terrasse tranquille sur le toit, pour lézarder au soleil (avec un peu de musique pour parer le bruit de fond !) Petit pb d'écoulement de l'eau dans la douche (stagne une fois terminée). bon, et c'est vrai que 5 étages sans ascenseur, ça donne pas envi d'aller chercher le pain !

• Valentin (7/5): Grand logement au centre de Barcelone. - Le logement est grand, lumineux, plutôt bien équipé pour un court séjour et très propre. La terrasse est confortable. L'emplacement est un point fort, vous êtes au cœur de Barcelone avec un accès rapide au métro et également la possibilité de visiter une grande partie de la ville à pied. Mais l'emplacement est également un point faible avec un environnement très bruyant et cela à toute heure de la nuit. Si vous avez le sommeil léger cela peut poser des problèmes. De plus, le logement est situé dans le même immeuble qu'un bar. Lors de deux nuits de notre séjour, nous avons eu la désagréable surprise de retrouver des gens sur notre terrasse (normalement privative) qui une première fois on fini leur soirée en fumant, buvant et on même vidé un extincteur dans le couloir (le liquide étant même rentré dans notre logement...) et la seconde nuit d'autres personnes sont venus uriner sur la terrasse et on tenté de rentrer à plusieurs reprises dans l'appartement. Malgré nos avertissements aux hôtes, nous avons eu un simple "on regardera les caméras" comme réponse....

• Dhurata (1/5): Disappointment. - Maybe the location It wasnt similiar to the photos. The apartment was an division of an existing apartment, and we had to go out from the terrace to access it. Being an additional room we had to hear everything from the next door, and that was tiring. Our room was not safe enough having a balcony which was near a window from the next apartment and they could easily jump there. Also, our room door was a simple balcony door same as a window and we were scared that anyone could try to get in. Very disappointed from the stay.

• Raffaele (10/5): - Appartamento ottimo per la posizione e per la struttura in sé. Si affaccia su Plaza Real, ed è comodissimo a tutto: centro, metro, supermercati, locali ecc. Unico aspetto da considerare è che ci sono parecchi scalini per arrivare all'ingresso dell'appartamento quindi non è adatto se si hanno grandi valigie o problemi motori in quanto non è presente un ascensore. L'appartamento è spazioso: noi eravamo in 6 ed abbiamo usufruito di due appartamenti, uno con 4 posti letto, e un altro su due piani con due letti di sopra e una cucina soggiorno al piano terra. Entrambi gli appuntamenti hanno una bellissima terrazza, una cucina abitabile e dotata di quello che serve: piatti, stoviglie, pentole ecc. C'è pure la lavatrice con stendino, la lavastoviglie, insomma dispone di tutto quello che serve. Niente

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und sehr sauber und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war gut und ging immer super schnell. Leider hatte unsere Wohnung nur Fenster in den nicht so schönen Hiterhof, indem es auch nicht so gut roch. Somit war das Lüften der Wohnung etwas schwierig und es sind wiklich viele Treppen ;-)

• Michel (8/5): Centraal gelegen appartement met groot (gemeenschappelijk) terras. - De centrale ligging is de grootste troef van de accommodatie. Als je het appartement uitstapt zit je op een paar meters van de Rambla, op 20 meter van een hoog gequoteerd restaurant My Way en op 300 meter van de metro. De keuken bestond uit een wasbak en een elektrisch fornuis met 2 kookplaten. Een werkvlak om dingen te snijden was er niet. De 90 trappen zijn ook een minpunt, maar dat was geweten bij de boeking.

Trzeba pamiętać że w Barcelonie jest opłata klimatyczna i jescze kaucia do zapłaty dla właściciela. Klimatyzacja dawała radę . Wysoko około 100 schodów do pokonania jak ktoś nie lubi chodzić po schodach to lepiej znaleźć inne miejsce. Jest też kawałek około 20 minut na plażę ale nie można mieć wszystkiego albo centrum miasta albo plaża.

• Marc (7/5): Great Location. Good Value. Sparse furnishing and a whole lot of stairs. - Fabulous location, Could not ask for better. It is on the Plaza Real and you have an array of lively eateries in th same plaza. It's less than one block from LA Rambla and you can walk to almost any of the attractions of the city, It's in the heart of Old Town which is great! And a 10 minute walk to the port and 20 mins to Barcelenota and the beach. Though it is surrounded by street life, the apartment itself is dead quiet, 96 stairs from the street is not a lot of fun. We knew that ahead of time but they were more challenging than thought. The bigger problem is the bedroom is on a higher floor than the one bathroom. That's another 15 narrow stairs in the dark and quite annoying. Also, the apartment was more utilitarian than elegant as suggested in the listing. OK value for the money. But it's a problem if u need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. And you need to be in decent shape to make the trek upstairs from the street. We needed help getting out luggage up and down the 4 stories.

The only downside is that these apartments are not the owner's only ones — there are several other apartments in the same building. Because of this, although we expected a small balcony or terrace as shown in the Booking photos, we ended up with an apartment where the windows faced a wall.

• Harry (10/5): Exceptional - The location is amazing! The balcony off the bedroom has a great view of the city, and there's a private balcony off the living room. Yes there's 90 stairs to go up but you should only need to do that once or twice a day. Kitchen has everything you'll need but bring your own coffee, sugar, shampoo/bath soap, etc. It's a great deal considering how expensive Barcelona has become over the past few years.

• Karl (5/5): Place to sleep only... - The location was good - right in the middle of town, in close proximity for site seeing and metro. The bed was comfortable. The two roof decks had nice views of the square below - exept the upper deck had no furniture and the lower outdoor deck furniture was uncomfortable so one really couldn't enjoy the decks at all. There is no elevator or lift, and it was a 4 or 5 story walkup to the flat - steep and difficult, even for healthy people. The flat had a split level entrance; as you entered the small landing, you either went up one level to the bedroom or, down one level to the kitchen, living and bathroom. It was very awkward configuration with narrow, steep steps that wrapped up and around to the upper bedroom level - which was unsafe at night if you needed to come down to use the bathroom in the dark. The living room and deck furniture was very cheap and uncomfortable to use. It was depressing and dark to be in there, and we were there for 6 nights...Several of the main windows had 'failed' so they were cloudy and you could not see out of the windows (which also made it dark during the day): including the main sliding glass door, the living room & bathroom windows. Additionally, the host charged our credit card for the security deposit before we arrived, instead of placing a HOLD on our credit card, so the security charge was reflected on our credit card statement as a BALANCE before we had them remove it, even though there was no issue with our stay (as we hadn't even arrived...) There were very limited dishes/pans for cooking, very little space to prepare food - and a couple of frying pans were severaly scratched. The picture associated with this unit is NOT what we had - it is for an adjacent unit with a different layout.

Det første som møter en, er en gammel og slitt oppgang, så er det å ta seg opp 90 trappetrinn for å finne en låsboks hvor vi fant nøkler, så må man låse opp en gitterport, og videre en ny dør, før man endelig kan låse seg inn i leiligheten. Den var stor, og ganske stusselig. Det er også lytt i et så gammelt hus, og første natten ble vi underholdt av en eller annen klubb med musikk et par etasjer under oss. Vil vel ikke anbefale dette stedet, hvis man da ikke digger trapper og liker å sove med hørselvern.
• David (4/5): Great location , nice spacious outdoor area, but not value for money - Nice spacious outdoor area. plenty of sun and light Could have done without the 94 steps to get into the property. The Kitchenette was minimal , with no bench space . would have been fine if staying a few days, but not adequate for a 10 day stay. The photos didn't fairly represent the room we stayed in. we weren't told about a 300 euro damage deposit until just before our stay. and weren't told of the 94 steps until after we had booked and paid. i think it was over priced for what we got.
• Ricardo (8/5): good view requires good phisical conditions - The location is really good. Even though it is not easy to get to the last floor, the apartment was well equipped and super clean. Has a nice rooftop with a view. Please change the mattresses. they were not confortable at all.
• Simon (9/5): Superb - cleanliness and location by Plaza Real I was under the impression that the balcony to Suite#4 overlooked the Plaza Real by looking at the photos advertised. However, balcony had no views surrounded by walls preventing either to view the plaza or street. 93 stairs were a killer and appeared to be uneven and worn down
• Darcie (9/5): Great stay, would recommended and will rebook if we visit the city again. - The location of this apartment was amazing. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. We was worried about the noise due to the busy location but it was very quiet inside the apartment. We loved the 2 terraces which was a wonderful surprise as we was only expecting 1! Our only negative about our stay was the limited towels. We had a 6 night stay and was only provided with 1 towel each for our full stay. Would have been 10/10 if more were provided.
• Mark (6/5): Basically good. - Location was good for basic tourist needs. Nice to be off a square with lots of restaurants and action. Apartment was dead quiet even during a huge football crowd taking over the square. Furniture was basic and not at all comfortable. Kitchen was basic and cabinets were already falling apart. We had no terrace, all windows looked into a dirty utility area between buildings. Not nearly enough power outlets in bedrooms. Frosted glass bathroom door was kinda uncomfortable. Dont take me wrong, I would absulutely rent this apartment again, we had a great time. It was just quite below the comfort level we are used to in rental apartments around Spain and France.
