Ismail (3/5): Just wanted to leave. - The old pics on the internet. The sink and shower drain was backing up. Room had traces of hair and dirt from previous guests. Shower handle leaked. This morning the roof leaked, woke up to dripping water. The property isn’t managed properly. Pool was filthy.

To make matters worse, on Sunday morning they refused to serve us breakfast, claiming our booking did not include it—even after we showed proof from Booking.com confirming breakfast was included. The staff were extremely rude, and the situation turned what should have been a pleasant weekend into a stressful experience of constantly having to fight for what was right. Side note: Their rewards program excludes bookings made via Booking.com

kim (7/5): I only needed a bed for the night. I arrived in the dark and left early. I would stay there again. - Guests walking around and in the lounge in their pyjamas. I needed a hair dryer, but reception could not assist me.
Nasiphi (3/5): Not what I expected at all. - The food was alright, though one is only given one option in the menu. The meal comes with juice and the served me with overly sweet mixer juice. The bathroom floor and sink were not clean. The wooden floors made such a noise when walking on it. Not a single person in sight to at the very least offer me assistance to carry my luggage since I was also carrying a small baby. Their water system needs a definite upgrade to put it mildly. Room service brought me an iron that had wires hanging out.

Brian (3/5): terrible, regretted, had I known would not have paid. - dirty linen, smelly and dirty passage carpets, old room furniture and fittings. the list is endless.
Ncumisa (1/5): unpleasant I had to look for another place - There's absolutely nothing I liked on this accommodation. The pictures are deceiving on the Booking.com website, That place Lido Hotel is beyond filthy, and the safety of guests are questionable. Thes staff are extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone to go there. Hygienically i was not impress, form the sheets, floors, bathroom and balcony with cigarettes buds.

Catterall (5/5): It's cheap for a reason - The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and in accordance with the price we paid for it The drainage system was blocked, we struggled to use the basin and the shower facilities as the water would accumulate. There is a visible line in the shower where the water accumulates and shows that this is a recurring problem.

Neumbo (8/5): Peaceful. - The honeymoon suite is really worthwhile. Its private and peaceful. The receptionist is welcoming and the owners are quick to respond to queries. The location is prime but gets noisy from time to time but still a good location.

Dhiya (6/5): - This location is outside of the city, not much to do in the area, during my 1 night stay there was no wi-fi and the staff did nothing to solve the problem.
Tevin (1/5): Poor management - Absolutely disappointed in the stay and what this place has become stayed here on many occasions previously and it wasn't as bad as it is now honestly nothing was up to Standard. Disappointing Stay My recent stay was a nightmare. The shower drain was blocked, making it difficult to even start the day on a positive note. However, that was just the beginning. The real issue was the noise from the adjacent room. Throughout the night, I was disturbed by loud sex noises and banging against the wall, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. I was woken up multiple times, and it was incredibly frustrating. Given the lack of sleep and overall poor experience, I would not recommend this place anymore. I always took this place as a family oriented place.

What is there to like after management's churlish behavior leaves you feeling gut punched? Not being able to drive out of the parking lot from all the uncontrollable tears.
