John (6/5): - The great: The views are amazing and the location right across from the Pantheon is incredible. There are many restaurants in the square and a taxi stand right outside.It is very clean and well kept for the most part.The owner is very responsive to communication, polite and friendly. The ok: air conditioning is satisfactory but the window needs to stay open for the exhaust hose which is not overly efficient. Bed is very firm but comfortable. The Bad: being an apartment that is 500 years old I realize that some things come with age but unless you are a smaller person, this might not be for you. The apartment has too much furniture in it which makes it look and feel smaller inside and one of the wardrobes blocks part of the entrance into the bathroom (which I discovered during a couple of nights) The toilet is crammed between the wall and the shower which made it very difficult to properly do your “business” and I mean, REALLY difficult . We started to plan our bathroom breaks for when we were out and about the town instead.The shower doors are a bit narrow and the drain is very slow so make your showers short or it will flood! The apartment is up two flights of steep stairs and the door into the building fits more of a hobbit than a person (you can open the other side by flipping up the latch but it is a pain. The apartment door itself is very old, doesn’t really seal off the apartment and the lock/latch is tricky to work.
