- Rhonda (10/5): - Perfect very affordable property, could NEVER get the same quality in Canada. Service outstanding, polite and seamless. The condition of the property was incredible compared to places in Canmore where I have stayed and paid 4-6 times the amount that aren’t even close to this nice.
- Glenn (8/5): - Clean compact room, with small balcony and included breakfast. Room was made up every day and a couple of bottles of water were also supplied. The southerly exposure meant the balcony could be warm, but there was effective AC in the room. Breakfast was good with a moderate selection of choices. WIFI was good. Our room was quite noisy one night due to a rooftop dance bar across the street but the other nights were fine. Note that there is a 5% surcharge if not paying in cash.

Great spot for soaking up Corfu Town’s charm!

- Lee (10/5): Beautiful, safe, clean, friendly hotel in perfect - Great location. Friendly staff. Nice plentiful breakfast. We had a room with amazing window that overlooked the whole port. Lovely to hear the music from neighbouring bars as we chilled in the evening. Prob not suited to families with young children or adults who want extra quiet. My daughter left her camera down the side of her bed. We checked out and moved to next resort. The manager and cleaners found it and kept it safe for 4 days when we returned to collect it. They also allowed us to store luggage on the day we checked out and returned to get camera!
- Johanna (10/5): - We had the executive suite with Ocean view and balcony. The room was wonderful and the breakfast was pretty good too. The only draw back was that the hotel was supposed to have parking according to Expedia and since it did not, we had to park 20 minutes away and ended up getting a parking ticket. It would be a nice gesture for the hotel to reimburse us for the unexpected costs. If that occurs I will update my review.

You cen get everywhere on foot, just find a place to park your car if you have one, it is a peace of mind because using the cat every day is stressful. All the best rated restaurants are a few minutes walking from the hotel, main promenade just 20meters. You can also reach to the public beach with just a few steps. The hotel itself is quite good, nice view, clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staf and not to forget fresh and tasty breakfast.

- Lene (6/5): Noe skuffet - Helt ok hotell, med noen fantastiske mennesker som jobber der. Veldig bra renhold. Ok frokost. Det står at de har parkering (blandt annet derfor vi valgte dette hotellet), men det kan de nesten ikke si at de har. Det er 2 plasser for parkering hvor den ene brukes av ansatte. Vi fikk aldri muligheten til å parkere som forventet noe som skapte mye trøbbel for oss i de travle og traffikerte gatene. Skal også sies at hvis du trenger ro før kl 00 på natten så styr unna. Det er en «roof top» bar som spiller svært høy musikk frem til da.
- Sascha (8/5): - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Alles lässt sich zu Fuß erreichen: der Hafen, viele Restaurants, Supermärkte, der Strand mit der fabelhaften Promenade. Auch die Burg ist machbar, wenn man etwas Kondition mitbringt und bei Sonnenuntergang sehr zu empfehlen! Das Zimmer war wie auf den Fotos angegeben: klein aber fein. Alles da, was man braucht. Klimaanlage hat einwandfrei funktioniert und der Balkon war sehr schön! Das Personal war leider etwas wortkarg. In der Lobby herrschte immer etwas komische Stimmung wenn man das Hotel betrat oder verließ. Fast etwas überwacht fühlten wir uns. Wer die tolle Lage genießen will, muss auch mit etwas Lärm zurecht kommen. Für uns nur halb so wild. Allerdings waren teilweise hotelinterne (?) bis spät in die Nacht im Eingangsbereich sehr laut! Das hat viel mehr gestört... Alles in allem aber eine gute Unterkunft für einige Tage um die Stadt zu erkunden!
- Lauren (8/5): - I stayed 5 nights at Hotel JoAn. The first thing I should say is that the girls at the reception are very kind and helpful. The room was a bit different than expected. I paid for a room with a king size bed, and was given a queen. The couch was defective because you could feel the springs if you sat on it, and was sort of caved in in one spot (but not visible to the eye- only once you sit). My room was directly next to a bar that played very loud music 4 out of the 5 nights, so I didn’t sleep well at all, even with ear plugs. I was surprised to discover that the balcony was half facing the street and bar, with a slight view of the ocean. It wasn’t ideal for sitting out there. Positives - they wound up including parking and breakfast, which somewhat compensated for not getting what I expected of the room. I really appreciated that gesture. The hotel is extremely clean, and all of the staff are very kind. It’s located in a very busy area, which makes it easy to walk to everything, but very difficult to get peace and quiet. I do believe it is overpriced, but I really appreciate their efforts to make their guests happy.

- I3242OGcharlotteb (8/5): Excellent location and very accommodating - Excellent value for money with a large room overlooking the seafront. Clean, tidy and well stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. Our room was tidied even though we stayed only 2 nights which was welcomed! Helpful staff and great location for exploring Sarandë. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and ATM. Would definitely stay here again.

It was centrally located, kept very well, it had a lovely panoramic ocean view from my balcony, and the service was first class. When I come back to Sarande, I will 100 % stay at this hotel. Personale molto gentile, unica pecca la colazione, tutti i giorni le solite cose e non molto fornita, ma tt sommato passabile. - Reiseburomitarbeiter (10/5): Boutique Hotel in best location - This small hotel is situated in Sarada's city center an 2 minutes away from the Promenade/Beach. The ferry terminal is less than 10 minutes away. My room was nice, clean and the bed was comfy to sleep in.

- sacw (10/5): Lovley stay in perfect location! - My cousin and I stayed two nights in this hotel and we really liked it! It will be the place we will stay in when we return to Saranda! We had two rooms with Seaview and Balcony, one de Luxe Both were equally nice and kept spotless. The smaller one didn’t have a safe so if that is important get a de Luxe room! Located right above the Promenade by the waterfront and close to everything! The view is amazing over the bay and city., Staff very nice and helpful. Thank You Staff at JoAn for being so nice and attentive
- Shane (10/5): - Located in the center of Sarande, Hotel JoAn is surrounded by restaurants and shops. It is also just steps from the seaside plaza. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Sarande.
- gl893 (10/5): Excellent! - I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Joan in Saranda. The hotel is located in a perfect spot, next to the bus station and very close to the seawalk. My room was spotless clean, with a nice balcony and excellent breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Saranda.
- gerartz (10/5): Great value for money! - We stayed here during August and really enjoyed it! The central location of the hotel is very convenient you can reach the main promenade, restaurants, bus station and many other attractions in a few minutes walking. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable, they offer daily cleaning and daily linens change for free. The breakfast is plenty and fresh. We were more than happy to have a parking space reserved for us everyday in front of the hotel by the receptionist who by the way was very friendly and willing to help with any information you may need about what to do in Saranda and not only! We definitely recommend this hotel!

- JohnVaso (10/5): Excellent hotel with a beautiful sea view and in a great location! - We stayed at this hotel mid October and it was really surprising! The price was just incredible for what we were offered, the junior suite we stayed at was great with a beautiful view of the city centre and the sea at the same time, the breakfast was plenty and fresh, staff is really friendly and helpful. We were also lucky as the weather was still nice to go to the beach!
- jojo_globetrotter (8/5): Basic and clean - This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in Albania but at the same time it was the most basic. The rooms are quiet spacious and so is the bathroom but the decoration is pretty minimal and on the cheap side. The walls and doors lack proper insulation therefore you can hear everything outside. We were woken up daily by the housekeeping dragging their hoovers and being noisy. Same applied to the noise from outside the hotel. Unfortunately the bed sheets were stained and we had to sleep on our towels as we did not feel comfortable. The breakfast was pretty decent for Albanian standards and the lady who was looking after the food was constantly making sure that everything is topped up. Only thing I would suggest is to play some music in the breakfast room, as it lacks atmosphere. Location is very good, near the beaches and the ferry port. Staff at reception are very friendly and helpful.
- Alqivas (10/5): Good experience - We stayed for a weekend in Saranda and in Hotel JoAn. The hotel is located in the center of the city, perfect to go everywhere on foot so we had to leave our car in the parking space that was reserved for us in front of the hotel. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfy and have a nice view from the balcony. We recommend it.

- GentSaraci (10/5): Excellent! - Definitely worth the price.Just 2 minutes away from the main promenade of the town.10m away from the Bus Stop that takes you to Ksamil. Literally in the city center. All you have to do is just oark the car there and you wont be needing it anymore. The rooms look super new made and fresh.Wonderful seaview and great welcoming staff.They speak your language. Breakfast served downstairs. Superbly done in every detail. I would definitely recommend it!

- 891wesleyf (10/5): Great hotel - clean/friendly/perfect location - Location - it’s location is perfect, one street distance to the beach. Also situated in the center of Sarande a car is not needed. Room - we had a family room, nice balcony, with view over a nice square. Very clean and new bathroom equiped with a rainshower. TV with enough choice and free WiFi. Breakfast - rich choice and differes Daily absoultely perfect Service - extremely helpful and always friendly. Extra towels, own parkingspot infront of the hotel...they manage everything. Summery - great hotel highly recommended!!!
