Guest Reviews
- Hasnah (5/5): -
- Wilf (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kamal (10/5): Exceptional - Nice place with clean and tidy rooms. Very kind staff, always ready to help you and ask you if you need anything.
Also try their traditional Indonesian food it's worth it.
Go there and you won't regret it.
- Johnatan (4/5): Wouldn’t recommend coming here based on my experience, better options available for not much more - AC was working well -Felt let down when discovering the room. It feels very bright and clean on the pictures, far from reality + ants everywhere , bunch of mosquitos in the room as the outside door wasn’t entirely closing and even a lezard in the room..
-Fridge in the room barely working, need at least an overnight bottle to get it somewhat cold
-Stained sheets and overall cleanliness questionnable
-Room next to mine was being renovated. Various construction noises woke me up as early as from 8am almost everyday
-Adorable cleaner however , my towels have only been changed from the 3rd day and room hasn’t been cleaned at all the last 2 days…
-Location quite central, therefore at distance from everything
-I wanted to buy a beer from the little mart available next to reception ; I agree that there is a 2% extra charge with Credit Card.. but when buying 38k and receptionist himself round it at 40k, although it’s nothing, it’s closer to 6% and it just feels dishonest
- D (8/5): Budget Stay for a Night in Bali - Budget Stay at Bali Breakfast would have been better. Bathroom roof was open to sky. It would be best to enclose it
- Valentyn (1/5): Bad - Encouraged by the reviews on Booking, we decided to choose this hotel. Unfortunately, the reality exceeded our expectations in the worst possible way. Everything in the photos published by the hotel is real, but definitely dirtier. Torn and dirty towels, torn bed sheets, mold walls, walking geckos and cockroaches made our stay in this place unpleasant. The lovely bathroom outside is very neglected, with scale and moss everywhere, which, compared to other facilities in Bali, is possible to keep clean. Based on previous comments about the possibility of renting a scooter on site, we ordered it from the hotel staff - we were very disappointed. The scooter arrived with an absolutely empty tank, with damaged helmets without fasteners and they tried to convince us with a smile that such rental rules apply on the island (we used another rental company and nothing like that happened). After contacting the hotel in advance, we obtained information about possibility to transfer from the airport. After arranging all the details, contact with the hotel was lost and after landing we had to quickly look for another transport at the airport. Any comments reported to the hotel's staff remained unanswered only with an apology.
This place is dramatically neglected and the stay there was an unpleasant disappointment.
- Mareike (9/5): Superb - The pool, the people, the bathroom outside, the breakfast Everything ok for the price.
- Magali (8/5): Very good - Good breakfast
- Marloes (3/5): Don't book the family room - Close to a street with a lot of food stalls. My friends and I booked the family room which was supposed to have two big double beds.
However, there are just two single beds that are slightly bigger than normal and that definitely don't sleep two people comfortably. The staff didn't seem to understand English that well and didn't recognize our problem in the beginning.
They kept saying there was room to sleep 4 people. Eventually we managed to get an extra mattress (without a blanket) for which they wanted to make us pay first. The experience just wasn't nice. There were also some stains on the bed linnen.
- Gavin (8/5): Very good - Value for money, really just used it to acclimatise after trip from europe Spotty wifi
- Otylia (4/5): Disappointing - doesn’t look like on pic the area it’s slums all around
- Melanie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Osho (7/5): Good -
- Athena (10/5): Good value stay - Lovely staff, nice food and pool. Good value
- J (8/5): Great place to stay and good value! - Great property and nicely maintained with a garden and swimming pool. The staff is super friendly and will help wherever they can. They allowed me to use their fridge and refill my tumbler with their water to avoid using plastic bottles. It's located in an alley so not that easy with a car but they do have parking. Unfortunately, no breakfast is included.
We got a discounted price from Booking and that is why we stayed there but without the discount, I think it's too expensive for the value.
- Lesieli (10/5): Staff were so great, easy access to ATM, local restaurants, we will be back for sure! - Staff so friendly, accomodating, kind and helpful. Cheap food everywhere. Friendly people. Worth learning the basics of the Indonesian language as local restaurants don’t really speak English due to low tourist flow. Traffic is a little scary for inexperienced.
- Dewa (9/5): Superb - Staff very helpful and friendly None
- Anika (8/5): Very good - the room were Nice for a short stay. the pool was Nice and cool, which is great. transfer to airport was Also possible. Nice warm water. shower is outside, so that was quite fun we texted Them a few times, but They did not answer, so we ended up taking a taxi from the airport, which was expensive. the staff are not so great at english, but we managed to figure everything out. Also, breakfeast is quite boring
- Donghun (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah (6/5): affordable motel room in nontouristy area - we just needed a place to house our stuff and stay one night while doing Kawah Ijen overnight the other. affordable and got the job done. Had a pool (looked nice but didn’t use it- when we passed it seemed a family had taken over the area for use) many many mosquitoes in the room- spent a while killing them but it was endless so wore bug spray to bed. AC could have been stronger. not located near tourist areas (which was fine for our needs) but may limit your travel/walkable options; our Grab driver actually asked us if we were sure this was the right place when dropping us off. Based off appearance and other guests, seems more like a motel with long term occupants than a hotel or true home stay
