516anthonyp (8/5): Restful weekend - By the time I had driven down (and survived) from Buraydah, I just wanted to get checked in and get to my room. Check-in was smooth and I was very pleased with my room. It was well appointed and spacious with a comfortable bed. The team at breakfast made me a great infusion to fight off my developing cold, for which I was most grateful. All in all, a restful weekend stay, thank you.

Verified traveler (6/5): Room type and refund request - Althıugh I have mistakenly selected smoking room, I asked for a non-smoking room while at the reception check-in. The gentleman said ok and told me that he have changed my room to a non-smoking room. However when I entered my room I realized it was a smoking room. My stay and sleep was awful and I asked for a refund during the check-out. However the reception could not manage this request. Also, cold water was not working and both sides of shower water was hot. I also informed the hotel about this and asked for a discount and refund.

naeemsiddiqi (6/5): Friendly staff, clean but dated - Rooms are decent size but the hotel seems dated and in need of a makeover. Rooms are decent size, well appointed but noise can be heard from the street. Lots of security so you feel safe. The gym for men has all the usual equipment. Breakfast has a lot of choices from Arab to Western. The only restaurant open for dinner during my stay was the Italian one. Food quality is inconsistent - the lamb chops were awesome but the risotto was not. The staff were helpful and friendly. Wifi reception is spotty at times. There are some Lebanese, Iranian and Indian restaurants within 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel along King Abdullah Branch road. Outside of that there really isnt much around the hotel within reasonable walk.
VonVintlo (6/5): Not my favourite - Tired hotel that requires a revamp. Rooms were on the dark side, could have more lighting. Good breakfast, good wifi, aircon wasnt the best. Rooms are of an average size, the shower is located in the bath unfortunately. Reception is understaffed. I arrived to find a slice of cheesecake in my room, was very stale, sadly. Had club lounge access, no snacks except for a tray of muffins

KhushK82 (6/5): Needs an uplift - Central location, rooms are functional for business visits although abit outdated. I found the bed comfortable which is on the softer side. Not for those that need a firm mattress. Shower in bathtub in all rooms. Breakfast quality is poor. Many newer hotels in Riyadh which offer greater comfort. The business lounge on the 6th floor is a few sofas outside the lifts with corridors leading to rooms. Can’t really call it a lounge. Courtyard is a better option if you want to collect bonvoy points and stay central. Not the worst ever but not the best for a five star hotel.
TAIN2013 (10/5): Great for a business trip - The hotel is located at the junction of two important highways in the city making it a great place to stay for a business trip. Although the exterior of the hotel is a bit dated, the rooms, lobby and restaurants are modern. Executive floor provides snacks and refreshments in the lounge which is great for quick bites. The hotel restaurants are good dining option and serve good breakfast. Staff is friendly and service is good. Overall a great location for a business trip.

On the small side with some old equipment and some new . The executive lounge is very poor and it looked like very few people bother using it . Good location in Riyadh but not sure I would stay again.

The food quality via room service could be higher, but overall it was alright and orders were delivered pretty fast. Staff is polite and accommodating. Definitely not the fault of the hotel - but the traffic in that area was terrible in the evenings. If next time I choose another hotel, that would be just because of the traffic situation. Sheraton was great!
403khalidg (10/5): Best Price performance - I stayed in the hotel for over 30days during the last year and I must say, it’s the best price performance you can get in Riyadh. Rooms are spacious, service is excellent and food is very good. For the rate the hotel charges and the service they deliver, I think it’s the best one can get in Riyadh. No wonder it’s always fully booked. I highly recommend the hotel while in Riyadh for business

ShaneofArabia115 (10/5): 2nd to none in Riyadh - This was my brother's first visit to Saudi Arabia, coming from America. This was my 2nd stay at the Sheraton Hotel in Riyadh, KSA. I chose the Sheraton because I wanted my brother to have a first-rate experience at a 1st class hotel during his first visit. I especially wanted to introduce my brother to Chef Rizwan, who I think makes the Teatro Restaurant worth the visit to the Sheraton. Chef Rizwan did not disappoint, introducing my American brother to many different Middle East dishes and their cultural origin stories. Thanks also go out to Mr. Salih, who remembered me from my first visit, Mr. Khalifa, who made us feel right at home during breakfast, Khiven and Jani. While we only stayed for a weekend, my brother loves the Sheraton property in Riyadh just as much as I do.
felipegX9479AS (2/5): Terrible experience - I had the worst experience ever making the reservation with so many mistakes and wrong information sent. Not even an apology was received when I arrived to the hotel. On check out I asked for the invoice to be sent via email - they never sent. After chasing they sent the wrong invoices. I sent an email and two weeks later still have not received a reply or the invoices. I would never stay in this hotel again and will recommend everyone not to stay.

Pingoo (6/5): Underwhelming for a Sheraton - This Sheraton is an old hotel which can be observed from the exterior and interior design. However the Housekeeping still manages to keep the place very clean and tidy, so kudos on that point. The most underwhelming part for me is the lack of welcoming feel. I am mostly observing rather cold (or neutral at best) in my interactions with various staff at lobby and the restaurant. Breakfast was mediocre for a 5-star standard. The menu were the same every day during my stay and the items were not very extensive either. I would probably try another hotel if I were to visit Riyadh again.
Aaa1402 (8/5): Good Business Hotel - I stayed at the Sheraton Riyadh for almost 2 months. When you look at this hotel from the outside you’ll think it’s very dated and old. However, the rooms inside are renovated and it completely passed my expectations! What I especially appreciated was the cleanliness of this hotel; they ensure each room is sanitised and sealed before the next guest. I was even surprise upgraded to a suite on my last week which I really appreciated. Beds are super comfortable and breakfast is great! My only comment would be the bathrooms in some of the rooms need an update , but otherwise, this will be my hotel of choice for future business trips to Riyadh!
fahad_alnowaishri (10/5): Great staff - Stayed there 3 times, from March to May. The location is great. In the middle of Riyadh city. It's a bit old. But it's ok. Breakfast was great. Staff was amazing and helpful. Make you feel that you are in home. I don't want to forget names. But thanks for all of sheraton riyadh staff.

mrifai (6/5): Business quick stay - Sheraton is a usual comforting name when you are a frequent traveler. Bit old (becoming rustic) with little upgrades done but service is good, located mid city with comfortable room that cries for some updating. Breakfast is good but could see much improvement to reach usual Sheraton standards in quality and service details.
RachelE350 (10/5): Great Hotel - This was my first time in Saudi Arabia for business the hotel was amazing, the services was amazing by everyone. It was a little out of the way from the Front Expo more because of the traffic, as long as you allow time there is no problems at all. PCR Testing is available at the hotel if you are running on a tight schedule and might not be able to make it back in time I would suggest going to the local hospital and doing a 4 hour express test. The only word of warning I would give is be careful with the hotel cars, we waiting over 2 hours for an Uber on the first day at the Expo so we decided to book a car to pick us up so we did not have to wait so long. The car never turned up and we were in contact with everyone who did not speak English and after 2 hours we cancelled it as we had to walk to get an Uber with everyone else. We finally made it back to our hotel at 9:30pm when we booked it for 7pm. The hotel were apologetic and did not charge us. My team missed their PCR tests and we were told the doctor was coming in an hour, 2:30am and the doctor still did not come, we had to get them to the hospital first thing as their flight was that evening. Even though these few things went wrong everything else went so well I will be back.
403khalidg (6/5): Good rooms, nightmare checkin and check out - Clean Rooms, very disappointing check in and check out! Check in was a nightmare, I had to wait over two hours for the room, one hour of which was a wait for housekeeping supervisor to OK the room for checkin. My arrival time was confirmed in advance. Check out was even worse with only 1 employee at the desk covering all front office. Long queue, slow check out and a rushed trip to the airport To make matter worse, confirmed airport drop off they seemed to have missed and wrong room charges posting Very unprofessional front office Room however, was very clean, tidy and in a very good condition. Food was average, last trip it was much better
dhbar1 (10/5): Not perfect, but hotel made up for deficiencies in other ways - Using Uber, it cost 110 SAR to get from terminal 1 to the hotel at about 21:00 on a Thursday, and 59 SAR to get from the hotel to terminal 5 at noon on a Saturday. The hotel is situated in a not particularly picturesque area (if there are any in Riyadh). There were at least two large shopping malls in fairly easy walking distance, one of them Riyadh Gallery, though walking in the area isn't very appealing. I was well satisfied with the hotel, which upgraded me to what I think was called a junior suite (one large room). The room had, oddly, only one fairly narrow window in a corner. That the hotel is somewhat outdated was especially visible in the bathroom: the shower was in the bathtub, there was only the fixed showerhead (nothing handheld) and the bathtub was only partly enclosed, so that every shower resulted in a lot of water on the floor. A hot shower was impossible, as the water's maximum temperature was merely warm. The amenities were merely okay (the razor had only two blades). The breakfast was good enough, but not great. There seemed little effort made to provide interesting dishes, the somewhat standard selection mostly devoid of local items was almost identical the two days I was there, and none of the dishes stood out as particularly delicious. The hotel made up for all this in two key ways. First, the executive lounge offered a good dinner. There was an element of luck in this, as - perhaps due to my arrival time - there was nothing there on my first evening, so that my assessment is based on only my second and last evening. However, on that evening I dined there twice. The first time there was some very good fish (along with some sandwiches and hummous), and a few hours later there was a shrimp dish and rice (along with the same sandwiches and hummous). My review might be very different if they had only had meat or poultry, which I don't eat, and a strictly vegan guest might also be dissatisfied with the selection, but lucky or not, I was pleased. The second selling point was the well-equipped gym open 24 hours. As an added bonus, one floor below the gym were two pool tables and a pingpong table. Had I been accompanied on this trip, I probably would have been very displeased to be told that this area was off-limits to females (who have their own "exercise area" on the fourth floor), but as it happens, I was alone. Staff was nice and friendly and I would definitely be willing to stay here again.
Bilal (2/5): - This stay was booked for a business associate of mine and I filled the paperwork for taking care of the charges, the accommodation was already paid for, I filled a form with my details for the incidentals and reiterated that the guest was not charged for incidentals on checkout, disappointingly the guest was charged on check out. To add further insult to the matter, when the guest was checking out, she advised reception that this was paid for and showed a copy of the form and the staff member did not knew anything about it and said this form means nothing and the charges have not been paid for. The guest was in rush as she had to catch an early flight and this was at 2am in the morning, so did not bother to contact myself or argue with rather uninformed night receptionist and paid leaving embarrassed about the entire situation. I emailed my concerns to the reservations manager to no avail. Needless to say is that I was embarrassed about the whole situation despite all the efforts to get this organised. I am hoping that something will get done about it and someone will actually bother to look into this, as this what I would have expected from a reputable hotel as this.

Abdur Rahman (10/5): Better than half a dozen newer hotels in town - When I visit Riyadh on business, I invariably stay at the Sheraton. Call me old-fashioned, but I like staying where people know good service, where everything is as it should be and it's small enough to be navigable. Especially well designed for the business traveler. Not the flashiest hotel in town but arguably the best.

Chanel (10/5): - I was upgraded upon check in to a fantastic room on the 6th floor with a city view which had every amenity. When I arrived there was an issue with the heating in my room which was resolved within minutes. Room and bathroom were extremely clean, exceptionally comfortable bed and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and to a very high standard with quality cuts. I ordered room service twice for dinner and was not at all disappointed on either occasion. Hotel staff were all genuinely lovely and helpful. The only gripe and it wasn't enough to put me off in any way was the unreliability of the key card. It kept malfunctioning both in the elevator as well as when trying to open the door to my room. I had a fantastic stay and I would definitely stay there again.

I reserve a room by my credit card, but the hotel took 900 SAR deposit. the room is noisy, because the window is not close tightly. there is no shop inside the hotel. in the midnight I ask them to provide me a I-phone wire charger, but they don't have.
RB (10/5): Very nice hotel. Great staff. - Very nice hotel. The friendly staff was great and very helpful. Nice gym facility and indoor pool. Good beakfast. No ATM in hotel but everything else you need. Modern room is updated. Nice.

Amaal (10/5): - Fantastic service! Very kind staff who went out of their way at all times. We were staying on the club floor which was stocked with free snacks every day. The beds were very comfortable and the room size was decent. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous. I especially loved their French toast. The Music in the lobby was quite annoying though and seeing as we were in Riyadh in KSA, we were slightly taken aback by that.

Maha Ahmed (6/5): Old hotel furnature - I used Room No 210. Room space is big. Bed is very confortable. W/C is clean but the problem is the furnature very old. Room service bad too. food not teast good . louby is noicy. The location is good not far from Olaya Street.

Amanda (8/5): Nice hotel but breakfast was disappointing - I arrived about 10pm on a Thursday night and had reservations for 12 rooms at the Sheraton. I stayed for two nights. The check-in was a bit slow at the beginning because there was only one person checking in. After 15 minutes someone else came on shift and was able to get all of us checked into our 12 rooms. I stayed on the third floor which was called the club level. The room was very nice and had all the amenities in the bathroom...including dreaded scales. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner kept the room at a nice temperature. The breakfast was also served on the same floor. This was very convenient but the selection was VERY disappointing. There was only one person on duty and he was having a hard time keeping the four warm items stocked at the counter. The selection was very minimum and not at all what one would expect from a 5 star hotel. The last day of check out was very quick and convenient. The guest service counter even printed all the boarding passes for our group of 23 travelers. I would recommend everything about this hotel with the exception of the breakfast. It really needs to be improved.

Colin (8/5): Good hotel and service - It's a Sheraton so it's like all the others in the world but it's good service and no complaints really. Only bad thing is it on a main road do a bit noisy

Mr. Athman (8/5): nice to relax - Was good, but I stayed only one night so I can't tell you enough because I did not have enough time to experience all the facilities. Staff was good, but only one guy was not good.
Business Traveller (6/5): Satisfactory but outdated - Didn't meet the standard I'm used to from Starwood and subsequently have stayed elsewhere on my recent trips. Wi-Fi was weak at best unless you purchase a premium option. Room is very outdated but the bed is comfortable. Dinner in the Italian was nice and the service was good, breakfast was average. Some maintenance going on in the hotel, Lifts and Restaurant.
-GG (8/5): Decent hotel with easy access to city by taxi - Good location that lets you avoid traffic during peak hours. Hotel is undergoing renovations so there is only one elevator that is currently working, but otherwise in good condition.
M (8/5): Bring your own coffee! - The hotel facilties in total are nice, but the main drawback is that there are no tea or coffee making facilities within the room. There are two separate breakfast restaurants - one a full buffet and the other a smaller (but sufficient) buffet, with the latter included in the room rate. Unfortunately also in this latter buffet you cant get coffee or tea for breakfast (unless you can wait 20 minutes), as they don't put the coffee with the main buffet, but keep it in the kitchen. So you have to find and ask a staff member to go and get you one (in theory there is someone suppossed to be serving at the buffet but he is either never there or spends his time dogin something else). during my 17 days there I managed to get coffee on 3 occassions
Robert (6/5): Expected better - Disappointing. Elevator was not working on 4th floor. Food was very expensive and quality was just ok. Bad musty smells in the hallways and rooms. Expected better from Sheraton especially since it's their only property in Riyadh. Will not plan to stay there again. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Robert (6/5): Not a 5 star!!!!!! - Wow...who ever classified this hotel as a 5 star has never ever stayed at a 5 star hotel. It's definitely no more than a 3 star, i.e. just "ok"...not bad but definitely not good. Funky smells in hallways and rooms. Food is at 5 star prices (i.e. very expensive) but quality is certainly no more than 3 stars. Elevators were not working on all floors. Can't believe that this is Sheraton's only property in Riyadh and this is the best they can do. Very disappointing. Will definitely chose another hotel next time. The staff was very friendly and helpful so that was the only redeeming factor.
