- KJN64 (10/5): Lovely Hotel right on the river front - We always enjoy our stays at Shangri-La Hotels and this includes Hong Kong. We stayed here many, many years ago and so it was good to return. The hotel location is excellent and the views are stunning. We always book the Horizon Lounge and although this was exceptionally busy the service was still great. The Team are friendly and efficient and work very hard. In particular, Kit, Jessica and Tony were very friendly and helpful. We would also like to mention May who checked us in at the lobby as the Lounge reception was closed when we arrived.

- glassyraven (10/5): Excellent service, very comfortable - We arrived around midnight, and the staff were very helpful, offering to pay our taxi driver, who took Asian credit cards, but not U.S. credit cards, and charge the cost to our room. Check-in went smoothly, and our porter, Omar, was very helpful in pointing out room features and thermostat operation. We stayed on one of the Horizon Club floors, which was quiet and elegant. We tried the main breakfast buffet the first day, which was extensive and quite busy. So, we tried the Horizon Club lounge the 2nd day, and found it much quieter, with a less extensive offering, but one which we found very satisfactory — and we were able to order additional items from a menu at no extra charge. Service at both venues was excellent. The evening between the 2 breakfasts, we were able to avail ourselves of the Evening Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Horizon Club lounge. Elisa and Tony took very good care of us, and we were very impressed by the quality of the stemware, wine, and hors d’oeuvres. Our table had a nice view of the channel below us, between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Our room was large, comfortable and well-appointed. The bathroom was also large, with plenty of space for toiletries, and a large shower. The Ocean (Cruise) Terminal is a short (10 min, 70 HKD with 4 bags) taxi ride away. We highly recommend.

- Tabea (7/5): Schönes, gut ausgestattenes Hotel mit mässigem Service. - Unser Harbour View Zimmer war geräumig, gut ausgestattet und komfortabel. Trotz der Nähe zur Strasse, hörte man den Verkehr kaum. Das Personal war bemüht, aber teilweise nicht sehr freundlich, die Abläufe sehr technisch, Formulierungen sehr trocken. In der Lobby war das Personal sehr unaufmerksam, nicht einmal kam das Personal selbst zum Tisch.

- Igor (10/5): Perfect location and great stay with minor details - The location is absolutely top-tier. We walk out of the hotel and immediately have access to the subway (Exit P1), which makes getting around Hong Kong incredibly easy. We can quickly reach any part of the city, including crossing to the other side. Once we understand the underground passages, it’s very convenient to walk to Harbour, the Space Museum, the Art Museum, the History Museum, and the Science Museum. Everything is nearby — truly one of the best locations. The room itself was beautiful, with a large panoramic window. Evenings were especially enjoyable — sitting by the window, drinking tea, and enjoying the view was a highlight of our stay. Housekeeping was excellent — the room was cleaned daily, always very tidy, and with plenty of fresh towels. The bathroom amenities were great: toothbrushes, razors, combs — all nicely designed and eco-friendly. Room service was also impressive. Food is delivered on a proper table (not just a tray), everything is warm, and the quality is very good — especially the steaks and bread. Breakfast was outstanding. A huge variety of options from different cuisines, plenty of fruits, pastries, fish, and meats. Definitely worth it if you enjoy hotel breakfasts. There are also fun vending machines for kids with small toys — a nice touch. The coffee in the room was really disappointing — the Nespresso capsules tasted quite bad, especially compared to the good coffee served at breakfast. Also, there was no bidet or handheld shower in the toilet. I understand this may be a regional standard, but it was something we missed.
