- Huy (10/5): Great stay at the Sheraton! - The Sheraton Grand Taipei was a lovely stay, the rooms were really big and comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good value for money to which I recommend. It is local to quite a few points of interest and easily accessible if you want to go by taxi.

Breakfast selection was great with variety The room was not ready when we arrived and we waited at the lobby. We had to go back to the main desk ourselves to check if the room was ready. I think the staffs are busy but I wish they keep track and inform us when the room was ready

- Stephen (5/5): Taipei is always an exciting place to visit - Sheraton is a good location, have stayed here several times BUT have to say its feeling its age and the rooms seem antiquated and need a refurbishment, overall its close to many locations and MRT access is perfect, even though didn't use the restaurant this time food has been good The rooms AC's are noisy and the room have an older feel to them, and depending which side / room you are provided the view can be non existent looking into some old building! Compared to some hotels I think the room rates are High when you compare to other brand hotels with more fresher amenities.....

Great service . Only setback is that done of the staff do not know very well about the product such as club lounge features and opening hours . And some are not clear about Titanium elite benefit in this hotel . Other than that was a good hotel and good stay Good choice to stay here when in Taipei
- 564lanz (10/5): ERIC is AMAZING!!! - We were lucky enough to have “Eric” check us in. I wish everyone was as amazing!!! He saw that we were checking into 2 rooms since we’re a family of 4 (hate that rule about international hotels!). Eric immediately excused himself and went to the back office, came out within 5 minutes and offered us a very ample room upgrade, with Club Level AND breakfast for the family for a slightly higher rate. If I wouldn’t booked this upgraded room online, I would’ve paid much more. Needless to say, it made our Taipei extra extra comfortable and memorable. Time together in one space is soooo much more meaningful that 2 separate rooms, especially since our kids are away at college and it was their spring break. I really wanted to see Eric again in person to thank him but we didn’t get the chance to see him. You are a gem first as a human AND second a Sheraton representative. Someone give him the promotion he deserves :) The room was clean and well-stocked. No complaints at all. Breakfast in that massive atrium is something to experience. Food quality wasn’t top notch but was good. Club level was so high in demand Thats we were given a 60-minute limit. Not sure who’s staying longer than that, but the food was good and many beverage options.

Even gave recipes for our favourite cocktails. Helpfully gave us warning 15 min before they closed so we can get last helpings.
- Teresa Josefina (5/5): Friendly helpful staff, with convenient location, buffet was good the last time I tried it, despite the things I didn’t - It is located near the train station and next to bus stops, has taxis coming in and out for transportation. It’s a good walking distance to stuff around. They have a smoke room in the lobby which was super convenient for my mom. The staff is beyond helpful and they do speak English. They have money exchange and an atm. They do recommend exchanging at the back because the rate is cheaper. They give as much complimentary water and coffee as we requested. It’s a beautiful hotel. It was a very expensive hotel for me, I rented at Sheraton because it where my work took me last year and I knew my way around that specific area. The room wasn’t cleaned correctly. I lifted the white sheet of the bed, and there was all kinds of particles and the bedsheets were stained and torn. I got bit twice by something, myself and my mom. Then we met another hotel guest at the airport, who said she got bit by something too. It could have been from something outside but I woke up to my bites. I have pictures for proof. I didn’t bring it up to the front desk, because I felt like there was nothing they could do about it and I just didn’t want to be that customer. The pool has no heater so the water is cold, but I still enjoyed myself and so did my mom.

The standout was Tiffany who always wore a beautiful smile no matter what she was doing and you can sense that she truly enjoys what she does and has passion in the hospitality industry.
- MABEL (9/5): Would still choose the hotel for its location - Conveniently located near the mrt. Staff were also very friendly and helpful! Slightly pricey for an older hotel (no doubt 5 stars and still well maintained). Understand hotels are going for sustainability but still would be good if basic amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste could be provided on request. Wall plugs voltage is also low - couldn’t use the dyson hairdryer which I brought along for the trip 😩 but at least the hotel provided hairdryer too.
- danwZ9927YS (2/5): MAJOR construction development - Do Not Stay - Construction issue: If you are considering staying here in early 2026 DO NOT. Everything else with the hotel being secondary - there is a major construction development happening at the back of the hotel and pile driving ground drilling starts promptly at 8am (Photo included - it's right outside the windows). The most egregious (and honestly scammy) thing is there is no note or consideration of this on Marriott's own booking website at time of booking and they still have the audacity to charge what seems like full price for these rooms on a non refundable basis. To not put this up so potential guests can make an informed decision is worse than what most Airbnbs would do. Service issue: I booked for 7 nights here (4 of which were under conference package and 3 fully self pay - I've also been gold/platinum/titanium member at Marriott for 15+ years) On speaking to the first front desk staff about it, asking if there was another room not facing construction or at least a higher floor I was met with one of the rudest responses I've ever had from hotel staff and basically told - "not my problem" and if I don't like it I can email customer service. After speaking to the duty manager his response was at least professional and better but while apologetic his only solution was basically to send ear plugs. Actual hotel review For those looking once construction has been completed or if noise in general isn't a concern - Like others have noted the hotel needs a renovation with the rooms themselves while decently spacious being quite outdated (the shower is in the bathtub type) - but generally a solid 3.5/5. The breakfast and restaurants in particular are highlights and the general design of the hotel while a bit tired is decently pleasant. Location is also pretty great located right next to Shangdao Mrt and in the centre of town.
- Roving51366931353 (8/5): Great stay, minor lounge issue - I stay here every time I visit Taiwan. Rooms are comfortable, location is great, and the price is reasonable for a five-star hotel. Highly recommend. Minor downside: in the lounge, one young staff member consistently gave extra attention to Western male guests every visit. It was noticeable, and other staff seemed aware. Otherwise, everyone is professional and my stays are consistently good.

- 990giulianol (8/5): Taipeh Sheraton - We stayed at the Sheraton Grand Taipei from January 29 to February 2 and had a very pleasant experience overall. We booked a Premium Room, which was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed quality was excellent, and the room offered everything needed for a relaxing stay. As a Titanium Member, I especially appreciated the access to the Executive Lounge. The lounge provided a great selection of refreshments, a calm atmosphere, and very attentive service throughout the day. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of international and local options of very good quality. It was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The hotel facilities were also excellent. The gym is modern and well equipped, and the spa area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the city. One small point for improvement: while the rooms are comfortable and clean, some areas of the hotel rooms could benefit from renovation to match the overall high standard of the property. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great service, excellent facilities, and valuable elite recognition. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel when visiting Taipei.

We were especially impressed with the quality and variety of the delicious foods and the kindness and care of the staff. Bella made sure we had everything we needed even honey for my tea! Breakfast at Kitchen 12 is amazing as well with a Hugh variety of delicious foods especially the Taiwanese Noodle Soup which we get every day!

Only extras would have been nice if pool was an option in winter ( shut) and if buffet had been available ( fully booked)

All hotel staff members were respectful, kind, and helpful. They all were eager to help lounge visitors. I have been in this hotel lounge for over one year and the customer service was fantastic! I would like to recognize the hotel staff members. There English first names were Alex, Gisselle, Phillip, Bella, Tiffany, and Harry. They all made my hotel lounge experience a great stay. - D9732YHkenc (2/5): 150+ Nights as a Platinum Member, Yet No Flexibility Shown - I have stayed at Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel for over 150 nights if not maybe even 200 and am a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, lifetime gold, with one more year to lifetime platinum. So this feedback comes from a long-standing and loyal guest. The hotel is well located and generally comfortable; however, my most recent 2 stay was disappointing. Despite my extensive stay history and Platinum status, a very simple request to change room type was refused, no effort to explore reasonable alternatives. I even offer to utilise my reward for upgrade. Worth noting that arrival about 6pm in evening. What was most concerning was the lack of flexibility and recognition for repeat, elite guests. After more than 150 nights at this property, I expected at least a discussion, some empathy, or a goodwill effort, but none was offered. Specially when this is my 3rd repeat trip highlighting the issue to them. I share this feedback in the hope that hotel management will review this experience and clarify how loyal and Platinum Elite guests are supported, as this incident has affected my confidence in choosing this property again. I have to rebook another property and shorten my stay with them from 4 to 1 night. This is the 2nd time that this has happen. Clearly they do not value loyalty customer.

- Yi Chun (10/5): - 1. 捷運站出來就是飯店了，雖然最近的二號出口時樓梯，不過三號出口出來的電梯對腿腳不是很好的老人家還蠻友善的。 2. 行前因為個人因素於是多次電話確認，人員態度都很親切，而且也都願意慢慢的聽完、幫忙解決，真的很感謝！ 3. 雖然是老牌的飯店，但真的乾淨，也沒有甚麼異味或煙味；隔音也很好，頂多走廊講話聲音太大會被聽到，晚上休息時間真的很安靜。 4. 十二廚的菜色還好，沒有到特別驚艷，不過第一個至少吃了沒腸胃道症狀（這點真的很重要），某幾道菜色也可圈可點，給過。果汁都有苦味不是很喜歡；咖啡大好評；米粉好吃！！！鬆餅跟馬芬還不錯，中式蔬食（有杏鮑菇跟青花菜那道）好吃！！！薯球也很好吃。 5. 整體來說真的不錯，會想回住。 因為成員都很會喝水，找不到樓層的飲水機，有點困擾。雖然房間已經有給了雙倍人數的礦泉水，但還是不太夠，想要裝水也找不到囧。聽人員說大廳好像有，沒找到，如果可以直接額外領取包裝礦泉水就好了。

What did the front desk staff say? She said if i don’t have my credit card with me, she needs to have TWD50,000 cash before she can check me in. “Hotel policy” she said. Hotel policy kicks guests when they’re down and in a panic? Never mind i’m Ambasaador bonvoy and have bern staying in marriott hotels for 30 years. Never mind my company has a business contract with this hotel for years. Ransom or i stay on the streets, like the homeless at taipei main station a few blocks away Obviously i couldn’t talk to this staff any further and demanded to just check in with the manager. I also helpfully offerred training tips for front line staff The room was ok, i got a mini upgrade, not a full one. It’s showing its age Breakfast only at the lounge and if you want the full one at the restaurant, you’ll have to sacrifice your points/amenities. Lounge breakfast basic and only good for small eaters like me Gym is smallish with only 2 treadmills. Not sufficient for a hotel of this size and during peak hours This hotel has like 7 restaurants and they are very popular on weekends. Make reservations or you won’t get in Location is ok a few blocks from taipei main station. Some restaurants in the station. Not much else in between I’ll remember to check in at the lounge rather than lobby next time. Their training probably better 7/10

- adrianl277 (10/5): Excellent Renovation and Good Lounge Experience - Honestly Sheraton Grande Taipei has been a landmark at Taipei for a long time, before the Xinyi District/Taipei 101 becoming the latest hotspot. It is clear that the hotel cannot move but they have a renovation. Most of the rooms are newly renovated with all the amenities you expect in 2026. My overall experience as a Bonvoy Platinum member was mostly positive, and while the lounge could not busy, the overall experiences were good. The food was even better than Grand Hyatt Taipei, which I spent another two nights after this stay. All the staffs I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Frankly speaking the location was good and Shandao Temple MRT station is literally at the footstep of the hotel, and it is easy to get a cab or order any car ride services. If I don't need to be in Xinyi area, I will have no issue staying here again.
- KheeKin (10/5): Good place to stay and will come back again hopefully at the end of 2026. - I choose this Hotel because of its location. It is just one stop away from Taipei Main Station. The Hotel is on the Bannan (blue colour ) line which is very convenient to move around The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Dr Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall and Taipei Xing yi District and Ximending is also on this Bannen Line. It is also located in a quiet neighbourhood. The room is spacious and the bed and pillow are comfortable. I don't have problems sleeping here. There are free mineral water and drinks in the fridge. House keeping tidy and clean the room everyday. Even though my room is near the main street, I don't hear any car noise coming from there. Breakfasts were good. They served western food such bacon, french toast pan cake, cereal and milk etc. There are also Sushi also been served here. Local dishes are Scallion pancake, braised pork and tofu etc. If you like to queue, the Taipei Huashan Market is nearby. They are famous for Soy milk, fried dough etc. Starbuck Coffee is also around the corner. Check in and out was fast and explanation is clear

Big hotel with good ambiance, wide variety of food establishments, most of all, kind, friendly, and very attentive staff everywhere. The members of the Sheraton Club are exceptional as well. We would like to commend their team especially Harry who has been very swift in service! We will definitely come back to Sheraton Grand on our next Taipei trip.
