Carrie (4/5): Not high end - Location was great to Universal The hotel looked much nicer in the pictures, it was about $150 more a night then the Hilton but I chose it because it looked much fancier. It was not. I was very disappointed. I was going for high end and it was as nice as basic Comfort Inn. Best Western hotels I would rate higher. So many little things poorly done make a big difference esthetically. And lights in the room didnt work, electric outlets worked poorly, carpet needed cleaning. Doors to closets were hard to open and close. Blankets for pull out couch were gross. Room service options were poor. Wifi was bad. Even the tiolet paper was cheap quality.

alany770 (10/5): Great for a Universal Studios Hollywood Trip - Room was okay, we had a couple nights where the towels were dirty, additionally there was a shower door issue that made it difficult to close. The convenience and location of this hotel however was incredible and the drinks and the bar were amazing as well. The shuttle to LAX with Joseph was incredible and is a great service.

Kudos to management and a special thanks to Maria Hernandez (our housekeeper), all the staff in the executive lounge (especially Helen A. And Douglas in the mornings and Matthew and Francisco in the evenings! Thank you for your smiles and friendly chats!) We found the room to be a bit lacking in storage, with e.g. only one night stand but I'm sure it serves the purpose of families visiting Universal for one or two nights really well! We came to visit our daughter who lives in the area and the location was perfect for us. Overall a great experience! Thanks!

Nice smooth safe ride, got us to the airport on time in this crazy LA traffic. Very nice Van, clean and very roomy, Joseph, our driver was great with a great personality! Shuttle was less than an Uber would have cost us.

Billy wasn’t only helping us out he was helping the whole restaurant out. He was giving us the same attention he gave every single table and person here and doing so with a smile on his face. My girlfriend and I had our mornings made by Billy’s kind demeanor and attentive skills. This is exactly the kind of work and worker we want to see around us and we couldn’t have asked to a better start to our day. Kazu (6/5): ユニバーサルスタジオ目的には最適だが、値段に見合ってない - ユニバーサルスタジオからシャトルバスで5分ほど。キングベッドルームはスーツケースも二つ広げられる広さ。ロビーも広々しているし、フロントスタッフもコンシェルジュも丁寧な対応。窓の汚れが凄過ぎて、外の景色を楽しめなかった。水回りの掃除も残念な状態。(メイク用の鏡が置いてあったが半端なく汚れていた) 2泊の滞在でベッドメイクはされていたが、備品の補充がなく、細かい所までは確認せず作業終了させている印象。コーヒーメーカーの水垢が酷過ぎて使う気になれなかった。チェックアウト後荷物の預かりをしてもらったが、スタッフが愛想なさ過ぎ。そのくせチップ待ちだけはする態度に失望する印象を持ってホテルを後にした。

Matthew and Francisco were so sweet and helpful! All the staff on the lobby was also over the top sweet. Loved the Universal Park shuttle service, made everything so easy. Just overall an amazing place to stay for a rest Universal trip!

TeresaW0618 (10/5): Use Ascend Airport Shuttle service! - We all know that LA traffic is congested no matter which hour of the day. When I saw that my hotel has a shuttle pickup at a very reasonable price and timing works with my flight. I decided to book with Ascend Shuttle. Joseph, our driver arrived early, super polite and knew exactly how to navigate LA traffic. He did not just blindly follow the GPS. I got to LAX in less than an hour. Joseph is a Great communicator and provided the transportation service in low stress manner.

From the moment I arrive, the level of hospitality and professionalism is exceptional. The entire team — including valet, front desk, and M Lounge staff — provides outstanding service and creates a welcoming atmosphere throughout each stay. The rooms are very nice and clean! The bed is amazing! The location next to universal and free shuttle is top tier! I would especially like to recognize Matthew and Francisco for going above and beyond to ensure my experience was seamless and enjoyable. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction truly exceeded my expectations. Tilde1 (8/5): Great convince to Universal - We were here for the Universal Fan Fest with Sheraton for an overnight stay only, hotel was an easy walk away from Universal. When checking in it was fast and easy since I pre-paid when I reserved my 1 day stay. Lobby is big with different seating areas with a full bar. I liked that in the main lobby as well was a Starbucks though not all drinks were available (protein latte). Room itself was decent size, though I thought it was overcrowded with a table and office chair combo, bench and then small sofa. Plenty of outlets to plug in devices. I like the multiple end tables on each bedside vs only one in the middle. I really didn't have to explore: pool, hot tub, etc. The description on 2 queen beds is very misleading: they are NOT queen beds (i had trouble sleeping since beds were smaller than expected), air conditioning is loud, the heavy sliding doors to bathroom was heavy, closet space was small and compact with the small fridge and coffee maker area. Bathroom shower stalls was lacking shelf space for your products. Some areas you can tell the hotel has been in business for some time: scuff marks, some board not aligned or piece missing. Shuttle was nice but from the Sheraton pickup it went on to pick up others at the Hilton hotel as well. Then the drive up to be dropped off all the way round like others paying to park.

elizabethlascheid (10/5): Great Hotel Near City Walk and Universal Studios - The Sheraton at Universal City is great. I would not call it their flagship by any stretch, but it is a great hotel. It is right near City Walk and Universal Studios. They have a great shuttle service. Don't walk all the way to Universal Studios, you will want to nap before you even get in. It is also a fair walk, but doable with ease to City Walk. The service at the hotel is great. They speak more than one language and are very friendly. I did not enjoy waiting for my room to be ready and I called and told them exactly when we would be there, but once in our room we were very happy. I had called ahead for extra pillows and towels and they were there. The beds are super comfortable. We had a nice view. The room was super clean. Everything we needed was there. We loved their bar and their eatery. The food was great and the bar very comfortable. You will love it.

The location is perfect if you’re planning to explore Universal, but what really made the stay stand out was the service. Huge shoutout to Jerry, who went above and beyond to make our anniversary feel special. From helping us navigate the amenities to making sure everything was set up just right, his hospitality genuinely elevated the whole trip. It’s rare to come across someone who’s that attentive and thoughtful. The room was clean and comfortable, amenities were solid, and the overall vibe of the hotel made it easy to relax and enjoy the occasion. Highly recommend staying here! And especially if you’re celebrating something meaningful. And if you run into Jerry, you’re in great hands.
tuttleb2016 (10/5): Great Bonvoy Lounge for Platinum & Up Members! - I am a long time Bonvoy member who has never been impressed enough to offer a review until now. Matthew and Francisco were hosts at the Bonvoy Lounge at the Sheraton Universal and went above and beyond to offer service and hospitality. They shared the offerings, pointed out the lounge was open 24/7, when the meal times were, how to operate the fancy coffee machine, even which drawer held the remote in case we wanted to change the channel. They encouraged us to see the lounge as an expansion of our hotel room and the second time we showed up they welcomed us back like we were family. Next time we are in the area we plan to return to this hotel in the hopes they are still on staff. In fact, we hope they are promoted!

Loved the quick shuttle to Universal Studios and Universal City. Shuttle made their rounds every 15 min. Complimentary water in the room. We booked the room through booking.com and did not get our terrace room that we paid for. If you are looking for an upgraded room book straight through the hotel that you're going to stay at, not booking.com. Standard rooms are ok to book through booking.com. This has happened to us once before when booking through booking.com. paid for upgrade and got a standard room :( No partial refund :(

The entire hotel staff consistently went above and beyond for us. They were friendly, always had a smile on their face and made us feel very welcomed. I would like to specifically acknowledge Rina and Mary D at the breakfast bar. They were very attentive and didn't hesitate when I asked for a special request. I really appreciate them going above and beyond. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, its employees and the value for your money.

Diana (9/5): I really enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton, I 100% intend to comeback! - I loved how clean and friendly the staff were and were happy to answer any questions. The room service was exceptional, and the beds were incredibly soft. I also really loved how accommodating the hotel was during my Universal Studios stay, which took a lot of stress off me. There was a minor stain on one of the towels I almost used, so I didn't trust using that towel; luckily, they had 4 of the same towels, so it was easy to replace it. I also wish the parking rates were more upfront. I was misled into thinking the parking was $35 a night, but when I got there, it was actually $55 a night.
