Front desk agents are very nice and willing to help with any questions. On my last stay which was on 05/16 front desk agent Maricruz assisted me and she was delightful! I am a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, and I am able to request upgrades based upon availability. Maricruz was kind enough and upgraded me to an executive suite on the 10th floor with a beautiful pool view. The room itself was amazing, comfortable bed, pillows, great water pressure, and very spacious. I am looking forward to staying at the Sheraton LAX very soon. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Nuwan (8/5): - Very close to the airport and the shuttle service was very good and valuable. The room was nice and big with two queen beds, ideal for my family. Check in service was smooth. They had a power outage in the city at the time I checked in, but the staff still facilitated my early check-in which was much appreciated after a 24 hour long flight with kids. Wish there were more restaurants around.
awdang_99 (6/5): Experience has diminished a bit - I've stayed at this hotel at least three times now. I do recommend this hotel, however this last visit was not the same experience as my first time. Hotel room: While our room was nice and clean, when we walked in, it smelled as if someone had used the bathroom (#2) and left a stench in the room. That's not what I expect to experience upon walking into a hotel room where the first thing you want to do is jump on the bed and take a nap after a long trip! Instead I was searching for the miniature Lysol spray to freshen up the scent in the room. Parking: I know this is MY FAULT for not properly searching Sheraton website for valet parking fees. I did a quick Google search and went with the ~$35 price that AI came back with. Even so, I want to call out that we were charged $82 for valet, uncovered parking, while being there for literally 13-14 hours!!!! Not a complete days worth of parking. That seems more than a little ridiculous.

283clintt (2/5): THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT LOYAL MEMBERS? - Stayed here for a business trip for work. An agency I'm affiliated with booked my reservation and I added my Marriott elite account. But I did not receive my credit nights or points. Person on the phone said I don't get it if it's a group reservation. Which is ridiculous because if I wasn't part of the "group" You wouldn't be making money off of the room I'm staying in regardless. I demand to receive the credit for the nights stayed and my points. Ridiculous. This is how you treat long term loyal members?

Tae (9/5): 最初のフロント以外は全てよかった - 部屋は清潔で快適。ロケーションもよかった。フロントスタッフ。英語が苦手だからもう一度ゆっくり話してとお願いしているのにもう一度話してはくれたが、面倒そうでしかもゆっくりではなかった。ホテルに着いて最初だったので、とても印象が悪い。

Tania (9/5): Appart from the unpleasant dining experience I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. - Staff were great! Room was great. Everything was great except for the dining experience... see below I was dissapointed with the dining room, which was more like a sport bar with intrusive and annoying big screen in every direction. It was very disturbing, and greatly reduced the enjoyment. I was expecting a tranquil, peaceful dining experience with some well chosen subtlebackground music to enhance the ambience. But there was no peace or ambience with the offputting screens. NOT EVERYONE LIKES SPORTS... especially when eating. Another thing was the 20 % tip which was automatically added to my bill, without my consent. Where I come from (Australia) tipping is something you do if the service was great. And the person who gives the service is not the person to decide how good the service is. That is up to the customer. Although the service was good, I would not say it was exceptional, so a 20% tip is something I would give for exceptional service, not just good service.

X9287GUmichaels (10/5): Great service from Estela and crew! - We recently stayed at the Sheraton Gateway Los Angels for an event we were attending. We were here for a conference. We weren't able to leave our positions during the event due to the fact we were running the av equipment for the even. This mad getting lunch a bit of a chore. Estela Estrada was there to save the day. She made sure we got a food order in and separated everyone's order by name and then delivered them to us. Mad our work days a lot more pleasant. Thank you Estela Estrada! Looking forward to seeing you next year!
Juan (8/5): Good location - Location. Was given a downgraded room as room was sold out. Over promised and under delivered. Elevators took forever. Morning shuttle took 45 to come and 30 minutes to drop off, good thing u planned an extra hour at the airport

Gavin (7/5): Some highlights and great location but overall disappointing - Proximity to the airport, good restaurants inside. Antonio was our server in the restaurant for breakfast and that guy is amazing has great honour and service. The Corsair where we got take out the first night were lovely and very generous and kind. To be honest first shuttle driver and lady on check in were rude. We arranged late check out and a cot on booking and had to follow up many times. In the end instead of late check out (we called day of and came to front desk) we were checked out instead leaving my wife in an awkward stand off with security. The lady I dealt with after that was great but this was the exception sadly. The shuttle driver on the return was also very good

Schönes, ruhiges Zimmer im 12. Stock. Bequemes Bett. Sehr schönes Badezimmer. Angenehm: Restaurant/Bar im Haus. Sehr schöne Außenanlage um den Pool herum. Frühstück war sehr gut! Personal sehr freundlich. Der Wake-up Call wurde vergessen!

dawnaG9061RB (10/5): A genuinely great stay with standout service - ⸻ I recently stayed at the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel and wanted to share how much I appreciated the experience, especially one of the shuttle drivers, Fernando. Fernando has a way about him that you notice right away. Warm, polite, and genuinely cheerful. What could be a simple ride becomes something people actually enjoy. You can see it in the way everyone responds to him. He lifts the mood without trying, and it makes a real difference. I’ve spent a lifetime customer experience , and it is rare to come across someone who does it this naturally. He is a standout. The hotel itself was very clean and well kept. The lobby had lovely music playing, which created a welcoming atmosphere, and both the front desk and bell desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean and spacious, and being allowed to check in a bit early was much appreciated after a very long night. A very pleasant stay overall, and I would happily return.

dean (6/5): Fullfilled its function of starting to overcome jetlag in a comfortable bed and clean room. - The hotel room was well presented and very clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel looked as if it was stuck in the late 70's. The room decor was all brown and beige which is corporate identity personified, but it was everywhere! The lighting in the restaurant we used was very much of a previous decade as was the furniture, brown and heavy. The offwhite wall surfaces in a texture sometimes called "donkey's breakfast" looked sad and dated BUT the spaces were good and deserved better. Sorry to be so critical but as a former Head of Interior Architecture itt's such a lost opportunity to look great again.

Carma (10/5): Convenience of location and the shuttle brings me back to the Sheraton Gateway. - It was an extremely expensive breakfast at $93 for two people which included the tip. Just had two eggs, toast, and fruit with coffee. Obviously the taxes add up. But still that’s expensive! Probably just the breakfast cost. Waiter for evening meal suggested one dish could be shared which I greatly appreciated.

One staff passed us off to another server while he keeps going back to one table and talk to the guests there for a much longer time than when getting orders.
