• Gabor (10/5): Affordable, comfortable and clean hotel with very central location. - Very nice hotel on the top floors of an old building with very central location. Few steps from the u-Bahn and bus stops, few steps from bars, restaurants and shops. I had a single room with a single bed. Large window facing the inner courtyard with views in neighboring houses. I had my own shower and toilet. Very comfortable and super clean. The breaksfast was fresh and nice with fresh coffee. Friendly staff.
• Alessandro (8/5): - L'hotel vanta una posizione eccezionale per chi vuole visitare Monaco, a due passi da U2 e comunque nel quartiere universitario, movimentato di giorno e tranquillo di notte. La stanza usata è molto silenziosa nonostante l'affaccio sulla strada. La colazione è ok anche se non particolarmente variegata. Sconsiglio l'uso dell'auto per via di mancanza del parcheggio riservato. Si può parcheggiare in strada ma a pagamento dalle 9 alle 23. Ci si aggiusta come si può ma non è comodo.

• Keenan (10/5): Authentic and friendly family run hotel in best area of town - Brilliant location, cool area with lots of nice restaurants and bars, opposite academy of fine arts, 10 min walk to the English Garden, very close to subway station. Lively area yet quiet and peaceful hotel. The building is grand and historic with nice periodic features (amazing wooden-lined lift, I put some photos) . Fantastic breakfast, thoughtfully and carefully prepared with homemade jams. The hosts make you feel relaxed - a friendly family atmosphere. Everything that was needed was provided. Everything very clean and well looked after. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Nothing. It’s perfect

• Brigitte (10/5): Lovely stay - This is just an amazing and lovely place to stay in Munich close to the university and the Englischer Garten. I had a room with a bathroom and it was spacious and had an amazing view towards the arts academy. The rooms and the two floors of the Pension have a lot of charm and personal touches. The breakfast and the home-made jams are wonderful, and the couple who runs the place are warm and caring for all their guests. I highly recommend staying here. Nothing.

• Jonas (8/5): - A good place to stay near the University. Friendly staff, family-owned business, very good breakfast. The showers and toilets (in some rooms) are shared. But everything was very clean.
• Janet (5/5): No internet connection. Otherwise a decent stay for the price. - The hotel is at a great location and is one of the cheaper options in Munich. Even though my room did not have a private bathroom, I never had to queue up for the shared bathroom, which was very nice. What really bothered me during my stay was slow (basically unusable) internet connection. I was on a work trip, and not having internet connection was very inconvenient when I had meetings at night. I ended up having to rely on my own cellular data plan or find a cafe close by.

• Solène (10/5): J'ai passé un séjour très agréable, je reviendrai ici à chaque fois que je dois venir à Münich ! - Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, recherché avec des petits shots de gingembre ! La vue est incroyable, sur une université superbe. L'hôte est vraiment très sympathique. Et le quartier, avec toutes les universités, est superbe. Ambiance très chaleureuse, je me suis sentie comme chez moi. Qui plus est l'hôte parle trois langues !

• Torsten (10/5): Eine Stadtpension im guten alten Still- wunderbar - Liebenswerte und heimelige Pension, in welcher es scheint die Zeit ( im allerbesten Sinne ) stehen geblieben zu sein. So war es wohl früher überall so, wenn man Glück hatte. Und ja dort hat man Glück, schöne geräumige Zimmer mit Doppelter Tür, der Alte Lift, mit welchen die Zeitreise noch sinnlicher macht. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstück mit kleinen Liebeswertigkeiten, selbstgemachte Marmelade etc., ein Gastwirt, welcher das Wort verdient - es war ein Traum. Sicher Lage & aktuelles Wetter taten ihr Übriges. Ich komme bestimmt wieder, es war wunderschön! Nichts

• Marina (8/5): Gerne wieder! - Die Lage war hervorragend. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und schafft ein schönes Ambiente. Die zimmer haben einen sehr schönen Altbauschick. Sehr schönes, vielfältiges Frühstück in toller Atmosphäre. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für diese Lage in München absolut top. Auch wenn ich den Altbauschick sehr charmant finde, so wäre es doch wirklich angenehmer, wenn die Matratzen aber neueren Datums wären. Es war noch okay, aber leider ein kleiner Wehrmutstropfen, auf das ansonsten aber ganz hervorragende Hotel.

Wunderbares Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Perfekte Lage für Streifzüge durch Schwabing, den englischen Garten und die Innenstadt. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

• Brenda (8/5): Charming Pension. - The location is quiet, close to transit and walk to town is 25 minutes. The breakfast was excellent and the hospitality of the staff was welcoming. Windows that open is an important feature that some modern hotels do not offer. We had our own bathroom but the shared ones looked very clean for those who are considering this option.

Personal sehr freundlich.Alles in allem für einen München Aufenthalt sehr empfehlenswert. Beim Frühstück gab es vorwiegend Semmeln und wenig Auswahl an Vollkorn oder dunkles Gebäck. Könnte man leicht ändern.

• Silke (10/5): - Lage - einfach klasse. Frühstück - mega klasse. So was habe ich noch nie erlebt. Die Auswahl begeistert und der Frühstücksraum ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war sehr gut und praktisch war auch das Waschbecken und die Toilette neben dem Zimmer. Dass es ohne Bad war, war da gar nicht schlimm. Sehenswert ist auch der historische Aufzug. Ich würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

• Sam (8/5): Lovely characterful piece of old Munich - This is a really lovely and characterful hotel. You feel like you're staying in a piece of old Munich and it's lovely. Hotel breakfast is superb, the beds are very comfy, the whole atmosphere and decor is really lovely and traditional, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, three minutes walk from the U-Bahn and two stops from Marienplatz, and a short walk from the Englischer Garten. The beds and bedclothes were really comfortable. We had a really lovely stay! The only negative, and it's small, was the cleanliness of the room. It should have been cleaner. But it wasn't bad and we had a very nice stay anyway.

The host made us fresh coffee and weisswurst, and the selection of sides (breads, meats, cheeses, jams) was really nice. Physical keys. This is an older building so we had to use metal keys, which are loud. The rooms were also simple, albeit clean!

Alles andere ist nachrangig; mit Ausnahme des Frühstücks, was vom Betreiberehepaar mit soviel Liebe kredenzt wird, dass man sich mühelos dem “Aussenrumtrubel” entziehen kann. • Krishal (8/5): WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! - The hotel was in the perfect location everything was in walking distance and if you needed the metro it was 2 mins away by walking, the breakfast was very good and had lots of variety to eat from, the rooms itself were very nice as well, the price of the hotel was very good as well looking at where its located and the best part was the staff they were very friendly and lovely people and as I am a tourist they also recommended me and my friend locations to visit. The bathroom wasn’t attached to the rooms but each floors had plenty of bathrooms for everyone and you only had to walk a couple steps out of your room to access one.

Great location - we were 1-4 train stops from every major location, wonderful breakfast choreographed with care (homemade jams, specialties for Oktoberfest)... staff was also wonderful and helpful. Extremely expensive for the basic single room that it is (unless you are looking for tradition), but it was during Oktoberfest... Small bed, uncomfortable pillow. Towels were few and (I guess old, thinned).
