• sarah (1/5): Stay here if you like unclean, unkempt, and living dangerously! - Location convenient for our visit The shabby, and unclean house and unkempt, rubbish-filled outside areas, the smelly days'-old chicken noodle meal left in the microwave and previous occupant's dirty sock on the bedroom floor. The unhelpful, unnerving and confrontational attitude of the host. Not a single fan in the property on such a hot weekend, making it uncomfortable too. The missing banister post halfway up the stairs, the trip-hazard long worn-out carpet strands at the top of the stairs, the very smelly old cleaning cloths and scourers in the kitchen and bathroom.
• Sarah (5/5): Passable - The house is within easy Uber distance of central London. There are excellent options for food within a short walk. The house was just about clean enough. There was a smell of damp and mustiness to the back downstairs bedroom. kitchen and bathroom. The bedding did not look or feel particularly fresh. The towels did not smell fresh either. The host was very defensive from the start when questioned as to the presence of CCTV within the property and when it would be turned off. When trying to sort out the process for check out and return of the deposit (which needs to be paid in cash on check-in) the host was evasive and then accused me of interrogating him and being threatening. It served our needs for our week's work in Central London but would struggle to recommend and certainly would not return.
• Laura (8/5): Quiet house with lots of space in Hackney, London. Would - We loved the quietness of the location and the comfort of the beds! There was still hair in the shower when we entered and the kitchen was not well-equipped (scissors were not sharp, knives were for left-handed people…). besides that all was fine 😊
• Dai (8/5): Good - It was close to the bus stop, less than a minute out the door. Plenty of rooms too, especially the downstairs room was huge and the accommodation had two toilets on three floors.
