Well Done! - The main highlight is the amazing staff they are all extremely polite and helpful and make you feel so at home. Real Old Fashioned Egyptian hospitality. Not only that, but the interiors of the hotel have obviously been modernised once again quite recently as the rooms and the lobby look so new and modern in stark contrast to the lovely retro style of the lovely Downtown area of Cairo in which they are located. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know coming to Cairo. Well Done! I liked everything actually

De hotelkamer was verbazingwekkend groot, maar wel heel eenvoudig. De lift was naar westerse maatstaven niet in orde. Het zeer eenvoudige ontbijt zonder echt wat te kiezen.

Free water, small items missing from the bathroom, like shampoo, etc. These small things cost almost nothing but make high impact, when they are not provided and you need to go down to a nearest market to buy them.

Me obligaron a pagar en efectivo y no con tarjeta , no hay shampoo ni bálsamo en el baño El refrigerador no funciona Todo el hotel está hediondo a cigarro El WiFi no funciona La ubicación es mala y en calle sucia y con ruido. La vista sin solo techos de casas y edificios. No tiene sábanas las camas.

Elevator is fun to watch as it is open elevator. Breakfast is very poor. Floor is dirty. No body wash, shampoo or Lotion in the bathroom. Water logging in the shower.

- Gaber (6/5): Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt ok, jedoch mit Verbesserungsbedarf beim Frühstück und beim Check-in - Am besten gefallen hat mir die gute Lage Das Frühstück war mangelhaft und sollte verbessert werden. In Zukunft sollte es einen klaren Hinweis geben, dass bei der Buchung ein Pass mit Einreisestempel vorgelegt werden muss. Es war sehr stressig, dass ich meine ID zeigen und zusätzlich eine Passkopie per WhatsApp zusenden musste – das war unangenehm.

- Nelash (2/5): Very poor - Location of the Accommodation The rooms were not clean. There was lot of dust on the room and bathroom floor. You can feel your feet turns black. Seems like bedsheet was not replaced as I could see that out bedsheet was put inside out. May be it was re-used for us. There were no bathroom toiletries and no bathroom mats. No hand towels. NO Water bottles or even glass in the room. Elevator was very dangerous having no door. So, it was an open one. No blankets on the bed due to which we fell sick. Toilet roll was lying on the floor as there was no place to put it. We were charged for the breakfast but it was very very basic and the cheapest one possible. Better to have it outside.

Of course not a 5star hotel and don't compare with a Pullman or Movenpick hotel. Mr Ibrahim.Raffick (+20 10 22330486) is available round the clock to help. Mr Ibrahim organised everything for me: airport transfers, tours including the Nile tour on 5star cruise from Aswan to Luxor + domestic flights, Alexandria, Cairo city tours etc. Highly recommend

- Yasmin (4/5): A unique experience, not in a positive sense. - The staff were nice, friendly and helpful especially, the person named Tuhemi ( sorry if I say it wrong) who was polite and a real helper in terms of giving us tips and advice about roaming around and saving money at the same time. Another person was Jamal who we met on the eve of our departure/ check out. He was extremely well mannered and served us breakfast very quick and early in the morning with a smile on his face. For me the only positive thing was the reception staff who I mentioned at the beginning. The breakfast was horrible,🤢🤮 boring and cold as well. They used to serve us cold white bread with boiled eggs every single day and if we asked for omlette/ fried eggs they refused.We had to eat this tasteless boring food our entire stay. Moreover the breakfast lady seemed grumpy, lazy and used to be on her phone continuously and touching food and utensils with her dirty hands, completetly violating kitchen hygiene. She used to serve us food in a small tray as if she was serving food to prisoners inside a jail🤣🤣🤣 If we asked for milk tea or anothet cup of tea she would say they've ran out of milk but later she used to give milk tea to the other cleaner lady who used to come into the kitchen to chat with her😤 Also the hotel wasn’t clean at all and they didn’t even have door mat infront of the front/door of the entrance and it was always dusty and dirty. The first two days room service wes horrible as they only did the beds and changed our towels without cleaning/washing the room and toilet. We weren’t happy and had to complain so the next day it was much better as our room/ washroom was clean, tidy and fresh. The toilet bidet was annoying as well as scarry, when we pushed the button it would spray very fast and strongly, and the water presure was so forceful that we would wet everything including ourselves 😂😂😂 The drainage system was another problem as it was so horrible - after taking shower, water used to be clogged and we had to stand on a pool of water as if, experiencing flood inside our washroom😩😩😩 Later they kept a mop for us to push the water to unclog the drain after shower. This was an extra task especially when you’re in a holiday😬 As our room was near the reception we had to tolerate late night/early morning chatting and noise. The other boarders were not at all polite and men used to speak very loud early in the morning and late during night. Overall the experience was unique but certainly not a pleasant one for sure.

The hotel is really affordable. There are many near restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies. I recommend it to locals and tourists.

- peeter (8/5): not exactly a palace, but works - I picked the place because of location next to Cairo museum and also price. let me add that it is not grand and not palace for sure, just a place to sleep. but it has basic services, quite nice rooms and good service, they want cash only for payments! breakfast was pretty boring and at least my bathroom solution was a bit strange! but location is excellent!

Excellent location, a stones throw from the Egyptian Museum (we could see it from our window) so a great price in regards to that. WiFi was good. What we enjoyed most were the staff at this hotel; polite, kind and keen to help. There were no expectations or demands for constant tips or trying to upsell us on anything unnecessarily, things we had encountered in our previous hotel and endured while out and about in Cairo. Would recommend this hotel.

- Isabel (10/5): - This property is a hidden gem. The price is very budget friendly. The room was very clean and the check in was easy. The guy who took my bags to my room was super friendly. The room we booked (two twin beds) was actually really big for a hotel, I enjoyed that. The location is very convenient and safe. One thing to note is city noises but if you bring ear plugs you barely notice it, it didn’t bother us with no ear plugs. AC was perfect and working!
- Hebo (2/5): If you are on a shoestring budget... - Location close to Cairo museum Anything else: shabby building, access to 7th floor room via a metal staircase, no glasses in the bathroom [not even plastic], blood stained pillow, cracked pastered wall, old cigarettes carton and ashes found in drawer, hole in the ceiling fom a missing smoke detector - smoking room - requested non-smoking... to many basics and safety missed to even consider a room change. Paid, left after one night and relocated elsewhere.
