• Milena (7/5): - Location is great! Bed with sockets and light. Bathroom is clean and comfortable. The staff is only there for a short period of time, so I didn’t manage to meet them. Also, you can only get a locker by paying a cash deposit upfront to the staff, so I wasn’t able to get one for myself. If you really need a locker, I’d recommend asking the staff when they’ll be there so you can plan accordingly.

I only book the accommodation for Care Leavers, as I work for a Local Authority in Cambridgeshire. Having booked your Hostel before , the location is good, easy for the YP to get to their appointments in different parts of London, or near by. Accessible transport facilities. Prompt emails are received from yourselves, how to access, where keys can found. We had a YP stop with you for 3 or 4 days, she never had any complaints, we'll say Thank you! Nothing they didn't like

• Christmas (10/5): - I received a message and a phone call from Pia before I checked in asking if I was still coming and giving me all instructions and directions, which was very useful considering it was my first experience staying in a hostel and I didn't know what to do, but explained it all and sent me pictures with instructions which again was super easy. The place is super clean and tidy and I was very surprised with the quality of all. The location is also fantastic and it couldn't be easier to get there. When I asked on how to use the locker, Pia explained to me that I would have to pay a £10 refundable deposit and she would meet near the lounge to give me the keys. She was very friendly and punctual and made my experience very smooth. I will definitely recommend and I will definitely use the again in future.
• Catherine (1/5): I did not feel safe there - The location is easy for Camden I cannot stress this hard enough - I did not feel safe here, I recommend you do not go here. There is no front desk and I met no one in the building. The room key - ( was unaware there is only one room, this isn't made clear) - was left in a box with others, for me to take. The room was unclean. The window was left open to a back yard, very easy access for anyone wanting to step inside. There were no lockers large enough for my case. I was not aware if the front door code was changed at any time or if anyone could walk in with it. I have stayed in many hostels around the world and never felt so unsafe as I did in this place, and I trust my feelings, especially as a woman travelling alone. I left after 30 minutes, I could not bring myself to even leave a bag there and go out. I contacted the hostel phone number on Whatsapp and they said 'a window can be closed' and a laughing emoji (it was left open with no one around) and that they would not consider a refund for my feeling unsafe. I have no grounds for this feeling but especially as a woman travelling alone, I advise you NOT to stay here.

• Tiffanie (8/5): La femme de ménage est une arnaqueuse - L'hôtel est propre, les salles de bains à notre disposition sont belles et propres. Le lit est confortable, il y a de la place pour ranger nos affaires (mais ce n'est pas sécurisé, j'ai eu peur qu'on me vole des affaires tout le temps de mon séjour) La femme de ménage a essayé de m'arnaquer dès mon arrivée. Pour commencer, on ne pouvait pas faire un pas sans qu'elle observe tout ce qu'on fait. Ensuite, je lui demande comment je peux avoir un casier pour mettre mes affaires dans un lieu fermé et sécurisé, elle me dit que c'est 20£ à lui donner à elle. Sauf que par message, l'hôtel m'avait dit que c'était 10£ "refundable", elle me dit "parfois c'est 20£, vous pouvez me les donner à moi", donc "parfois c'est 20£" = pour les touristes crédules, elle essaye de se faire de l'argent sur le dos des touristes. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas un casier attribué à chaque personne directement mis à disposition, cela devrait être compris dans le prix de la location, afin de mettre ses affaires en sécurité et fermé à clé le temps de notre séjour et éviter le stress. Et enfin, dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de quoi se faire à manger, un minimum : plaque de cuisson au moins et un peu de vaisselle.

Remember to bring earplugs and a sleeping - Location was close to the major stations Bathrooms were really clean Communication with the co-manager was really helpful. The self check-in was a nightmare: there was no card with my name, the weekend staff was not replying (but fortunately the co-manager did), I didn’t know which bed I had been assigned, I had to try two cards to find one that was working, and even then the bed I had supposedly been assigned was occupied. Being next to a tube station, be prepared to hear it run by every ten minutes; similarly, be prepared to have the dorm door shed bright light at night when people go in and out.

• Fernanda (7/5): Staff very friendly, location is great, lots of option for food and drinks - Staff very friendly, location is great, just right on the side of the Mornington Crescent station, and just 10 min walk to the next one - Camden, and 15 min walk to another one - Euston and lots of options to eat and drink. Easy to checkin and check out. There is no lockers for your stuff. You can "rent" for 10 a small box on the corridor and they wil give the money back in the end of your stay, but for your stuff, like clothers, shoes, there is no locker.

• Pauliana (7/5): Agradável e conveniente - A localização é perfeita. Tão grudado no metrô que dá até pra ouvir, o que a mim não incomodou. As moças da limpeza muito atenciosas e simpáticas. Na recepção era raro encontrar alguém. O quarto era grande, com 10 camas e 2 banheiros. Não é um hotel exclusivamente feminino. É um prédio grande onde um quarto no subsolo é usado como hostel só para mulheres. O restante do prédio é usado como hotel, homens e mulheres. O que incomodou foi a falta dessa informação. Não há cozinha ou qq coisa parecida. No quarto não tem armário para as malas, somente uma caixa para deixar suas coisas embaixo da cama. Há um cofre disponível mediante depósito.

• Danielle Jaye (6/5): Great! - No breakfast provided. The room is quite large with a space in the middle for everyone. The staff were nice, but when I asked about if my sheets are clean (because it has hair on it) they said its fine. So they leave it as it is. Its quite expensive for a 10 bedroom dorm without food and is on the basement of the building.

It was quite cosy and bright during the day The little lights we have on the beds, SUPER bright. I returned after a concert, had a little headache so got straight into bed then when other people came back from another concert, the light was blaring. Lit up the whole room.

• Joey (8/5): Heel fijn en comfortabel, ik zou zeker overwegen terug te komen! - Rustig, mooi en proper. Twee badkamers om te delen was heel handig. Mooie badkamers, heel proper. Veel plaats in de kamer, ook voor koffers en rest van je bagage. heel dicht bij het tube station (mornington cresent) direct aan je rechterkant als je de deur uitstapt. Ik vond het jammer dat er geen keuken was zoals beschreven, enkel een microgolf, een waterkoker en een mini frigo. En de verwarming in de badkamer was niet uit te kregen dus was een beetje zoals een sauna. Er was ook bijna geen opbergruimte voor je spullen, ikzelf en de andere zagen dit denk ik niet echt als een probleem, maar ik liet alles onbeveiligd in de kamer staan net zoals de anderen ( was een beetje vertrouwen)
• Carla (8/5): Dos Amigas , Dos días en London ❤️ - Excelente ubicación al lado del metro y parada de buses , además esta a una estación del metro del Camden Market , efectivamente es de solo chicas , y tenía muy buena calefacción, además dejan té a disposición, con un hervidor, también cuenta con microondas, y te entregan toallas, hay una terraza bonita afuera donde también se puede uno sentar. El barrio es muy pintoresco con cafeterías y restaurantes alrededor, hostel totalmente recomendable , también volvería alojar allí. Creo que si las camas tuvieran cortinas para mayor privacidad, sería excelente, también noté que la limpieza en los baños no se hizo o no fue muy profunda , no cuenta con cocina para quienes deseen cocinar, y el horario de la chica de recepción no está definido, yo me la tope de solo por casualidad, quizás no es indispensable, pero es importante que exista al menos un personal, durante el día, ya que durante la noche no hay nadie. Pero todo lo demás muy bien !

Je ne suis pas restée - Je n’ai pas pu séjourner dans l’hôtel car pas le dortoir j’avais pas prévu à mon arrivée de me laisser la possibilité de verrouiller mes affaires personnelles dans un casier ou autre solution. La 1ere nuit j’ai dû aller ailleurs par sécurité. Le staff n’était sur place que le lendemain et il fallait une caution de 20 £ en cash seulement pour sécuriser les affaire dans un casier. J’étais prête à le faire pour ne pas perdre ma 2eme nuit . Mais impossible de récupérer ma caution le lendemain car la dame de l’accueil ne démarre son service qu’à 10h le dimanche . Or mon train pour Paris était à 9h 30 et je devais être à la gare 1h plus tôt. La solution proposée a été de laisser une copie de mon ID pour avoir une clé pour sécuriser mes affaires pour la nuit. Ce que j’ai refusé car ayant réservé par booking toutes mes informations d’identité sont vérifiée et je n’ai pas eu confiance au processus parallèle à la réservation sur booking . Et qui n’était pas clairement précisé au moment de réserver. Donc je n’ai pas pu dormir dans cet hôtel par manque de sécurité garantie. Précision: la dame de l’accueil était très correcte . C’est la politique de l’hôtel et de sa hiérarchie qui ne va pas du tout . Sécurité =0 Les casiers ne sont pas compris dans la réservation. Il faut payer à l’arrivée . Et si on arrive en dehors de leurs h de travail pas de possibilité de mettre en sécurité ses affaires .
• Fatma (2/5): Good location, but misleading information and poor cleanliness - The location was convenient and very close to the stations, and there was always hot water available in the bathroom. These were the main positive aspects of the stay. The hostel was not clean, and the sheets were not changed during the stay unless specifically requested. Although it was advertised as female-only, there were mixed rooms and male guests present, which was not mentioned beforehand. In a 10-bed dormitory, there was no proper locker or wardrobe for clothes. Only a small, paid safety locker was available for valuables, which required a £20 deposit refundable upon checkout. As a result, I had to keep my belongings in my suitcase throughout the stay. Additionally, there was no washing or drying machine available.

• Selina (7/5): PSA: Don't travel when you're sick - Location was perfect. I liked the easy self check-in. The two ensuite bathroom for the all-female room were of the perfect size. The fact that a UK household was not afraid to turn on heating in December was also a positive surprise (even if the bathroom heater should have a adjustable thumb-turn so everyone can manage it to their own preference) (I am really sorry to do this here, when it was to no fault of the accommodation itself that I was having a terrible stay.) The fact that another guest felt it way okay to expose a room full of strangers to her germs, not to mention keeping half of us up all night with her endless wheezing, coughing and spitting out phlegm. I don't know why I have to say this in 2025, the backend of a global pandemic! But DO NOT TRAVEL WHEN YOU ARE SICK. Do not stay at a HOSTEL WITH OTHER PEOPLE when you are sick! First of all, you are actively sabotaging your own recovery, putting more strain on your weakened body. Second of all you risk infecting anyone else you come in contact with. Terribly inconsiderate behaviour!

• Joana (5/5): - The location was perfect for me. The staff members I talked to were nice and polite and the check-in process was very easy! The bathroom was clean, at least during my stay, and they offer a towel as well! The room felt stuffy (probably because it is literally in the basement) and it was noisy, due to how close it was to the subway. The lockers are very very small, I expecting something I could actually use to store my backpack but that wasn't the case. It also felt unorganized and messy in general - the lockers were quite literally in the middle of the hallway leading to the room and there were clothes left drying in the bathroom. The wi-fi didn't work for me. As stated in other reviews, even though it's supposed to be female only, I saw a man entering the morning I left, which I absolutely hated, as being female only was one of the reasons I decided to book the place. I understand the common spaces are the only ones that are shared, but I think this should be explicitly stated. I think it's good for a night or two at most.

• aroudj safia (5/5): Un expérience particulière - les lits sont confortable et propre. la localisation géographique proche des arrêt de bus et métro . on est a 11 min en bus de la gare st pancreas. Le manque de propreté général dans l'hostel. les deux salle de bains ont besoin d'un bon coup de ménage et les prises n'y fonctionne pas . il n'y a pas de réception à votre arrivée et la communication avec les gérant ne se fait que par whatsapp. l'hostel se situe a coté d'une station de métro et donc vous sentez chaque fois qu'un métro passe car l'ensemble de l'habitation tremble et les métros opère de 4h30 du mat a 1h du mat. les chambres sont au sous-sol. il y a aussi un manque d'organisation au niveau des lits car vous êtes sensé avoir un lit attribué mais durant mon séjour j'ai eu le plaisir de voir mon lit squatté par d'autres et mes affaires déplacées sans qu'on me préviennent.

Good place to stay.for something simple - great location, right next door to the tube station - the small lockers are not in the bunk room so you can get to your things without waking up the others for early/late times - there is a communal open wardrobe in the middle of the room - those staying seemed to be mostly travellers and no issues Its hard to use several of the plugs by the beds because the bunk bed was blocking them - you can hear/feel the tube train at night, not overly noisy and it didnt bother me but if youre a light sleeper then be aware - there is a staircase to get downstairs, so not so good if you have accessibility issues -

• Krissse (6/5): Prob not coming back - Location, location, location. Other girls in the room respected the privacy and kept the volume down. The bed was okay, same with showers and toilets. The room was downstairs and because of the poor air flow the window was open all night. It was raining and cold. In the morning when I woke up I had the flu and my eyes were red. The common area was cold and uninviting. No space for your stuff nor the bag, needed to put everything on the floor. The patio in the backyard was really not that inviting, it was accommodated by this large shed and with two big boxes.

It was the first time in my life that I had booked a hostel. It was a pleasant experience, and the communication beforehand was very friendly. The hostel was clean, and everyone in the room was considerate. The location is excellent, about a 15-minute walk to King's Cross. If I had to book a hostel again, this would be my choice. Nothing to complain about.

• Reinhard (6/5): - Ich habe im 10 Bett Zimmer übernachtet und von der Ausstattung her wirklich schon bessere Hostels gehabt. Unter meinem Bett war es so schmutzig, dass meine Kleidung, die ich im offenen Koffer dort aufbewahren wollte, Staub gefangen hat. Auch lag da Müll von einer vorherigen Nutzung. Alles ist ein bißchen lieblos zusammen gewürfelt, wie es scheint. Die U Bahn hört man kontinuierlich. Das Haus ist im oberen Stock ein Hotel, unten Hostel. Daher trifft man im Aufenthaltsraum auch Männer an. Das hatte ich nicht erwartet, wollte ja ausdrücklich in eine Unterkunft nur für Frauen. Pluspunkte: Selbst Check-In, Kontakt mit den Betreibern und das Vorhandensein von zwei kleinen, voll ausgestatteten Bädern für 10 Betten.
