I thoroughly enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet, which had fantastic live food stations and plenty of variety. The pool and private beach areas were beautifully maintained and perfect for a relaxing day. There was very little to dislike as the overall hospitality was top-tier. Perhaps the only small improvement would be adding a few more smart-TV features or streaming options to the room entertainment system.

Ruby and Raj in the temporary club lounge were exceptional and really made my stay there comfortable well done to them both and I hope the hotel gives them recognition as they deserve it. Pool was good however changing rooms , Spa, Gym etc was too far away from the main hotel and for someone like me who has mobility health issues it was a struggle so I did not use. Breakfast was poor quality, Tavern Bar Drinks were extremely poor quality, however the amazing staff David and Neha in the Tavern Bar were excellent and where trying to work with what they were given, not their fault bless them.

- Pranavito (8/5): Comfortable and enjoyable stay with great facilities and location - What I liked most about the hotel was its excellent location in Abu Dhabi, along with the private beach and pool facilities, which made the stay very relaxing. The property also offers several separate restaurants, giving guests a good variety of dining options. Although the building itself looks a bit older from the outside — and it still seems to carry some elements from a previous property branding — the interiors and decor are very well done and feel elegant and comfortable. Another practical and unique feature was having barbershops and salons on the mezzanine level, which added extra convenience during the stay. Overall, the location, amenities, decor, and interiors made for a very pleasant experience. Mentioning the great services at front desk of Ilham, Celina, Ada and others. What I didn’t like was that there seemed to be some confusion during check-in regarding my Marriott Bonvoy account, as it was not always properly reflected or available. There was also a lack of clear communication regarding deposits and billing procedures. I was repeatedly asked to make immediate payments, whereas these charges could easily have been added to the room bill. The pool also appeared to be heavily chlorinated, which made the experience less comfortable. In addition, the vegetarian options across the restaurants were quite limited. While I understand that each restaurant may focus on a specific cuisine, having a few more vegetarian and vegan choices would make the hotel more considerate of the diverse dietary needs of its guests.

- May (10/5): - I was in AD for the first time for meetings. The hotel staff were fantastic, from front desk to housekeeping, eg they noticed I drink a lot of water and kept me well stocked. Level of service is very good, professional, attentive, respectful but not effusive or fawning as you sometimes get outside of NAM/EU. For an old hotel, the property has been very well maintained and renovated over the years. Gym is well equipped. Breakfast room is very spacious, never had seating issues, and most of all, well located with great view overlooking the property with big windows and natural light - very good in the morning. The pool/beach seemed good, I did not spend much time there. Overall location was great for my needs - I mostly had to go to the Corniche, Saadiyat and ADGM and it was accessible to all those places, plus easy to hail taxis. This will be my 1st choice for my next visit. There was a small hiccup before arrival where I asked for info about getting picked up from DXB. They originally said they could but were slow to reply in the 12-18 hours prior, while I was already in transit. We were messaging through the Marriott app and then email and it was hard to get a straight answer. Probably fell through the cracks due to their different communication channels and teams. Not a big deal as I just got Bolt which was cheaper anyways. Once I arrived though, the staff were all great.
