Nearly being hit by part of a bathroom fitting that fell just as I was flushing the loo ( reported to reception) Needed more English Breakfast Tea bags in the room, although coffee pods were available not a coffee drinker.

As fitness lovers the only thing which didn’t reflect on the rest of the hotel was the gym. A lot of the kit was broken and it was dirty. I’m not sure if this was separate to the hotel but certainly didn’t match the hotel.

Helpful, friendly staff and well appointed rooms with a great view over Kensington Park Gardens make for a relaxing stay. The breakfast and Origin restaurant are also good. Concert goers will find the Albert Hall a short walk away and the V&A, Natural History and Science museums are also close by.

Nakon što smo ušli u hotel i obavili check in samo smo upućeni koji je broj sobe i gdje se nalazi doručak na iznimno hladan način. Zvučna izolacija, čuli smo odozgora zvukove hodanja konstantno tokom noći poprilično glayno. Soba iako izrazito udobna je imala strganu dršku na ormaru, hotel sa 5 zvjezdica si to nebi smio priuštiti.
- Eithar (9/5): Spacious rooms and nice views - The Garden Deluxe room was really spacious and had great views of Kensington Gardens. I loved how neat and clean it was and the elevated deck added charm to the lovely room. The bathroom was also nice and clean, having a bathtub in addition to the standing shower is a rarity these days in Central London. The housekeeping service was great and we always found everything cleaned and restocked upon our return to the room. The location is great, a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants are within a walking distance. The High Street Kensington station is only 5 minutes walk. The lobby could use a revamp, as you walk-in at certain times of the day you’re met by the smell of cooking coming from the restaurant on the same level as the main entrance. Also there isn’t much more to the amenities of the hotel other than conference rooms, which makes it more suitable for business rather than leisure.

- omar (4/5): My last visit - Location Upon checking in, the room wasn’t ready and they stored our bags. When the room was ready we came in to find our most valuable bag (LV limited edition) scratched. We notify the hotel and they sent someone to take photos and told us they would investigate the matter. After three days they came to aknowledge that the cameras showed that it might have happened while storing the bags and said they would have to take it to their top management. At the day of checkout they said that the best they could offer to us was an upgrade for our room in our next stay (if we ever come back). Though I understand that accidents can happen, it took them too long to answer. We reported the incident on the check in day 21 and received an answer one hkur before checkout on 27.

The staff are normally extremely helpful and genuinely caring but I was disappointed by three of the front desk/client facing staff who were professional but lacked that genuine warmth that has always made this hotel stand out for me.

It was a wonderful stay Nothing. The room was a little warm and we don’t like sleeping with ac on but other than that it was great

- caroline (7/5): Great location, good hotel, average service - Fantastic location and nice standard of rooms. Bedroom was clean. Staff were not very friendly, especially at breakfast. Felt a bit more like a 3 star experience at breakfast, certainly not a 5 star experience that the hotel is advertised as.

- Valerie (2/5): Too noisy and disruptive sleep - Location Too noisy. We were kept awake from 1am because of door slamming and noise. We usually stay at this hotel because of the location but will have to find an alternative as we’ve had a few interrupted sleeps and room changes because of heating breaking down. The staff are generally friendly.

- BaderSA_NZ (9/5): Luxury stay for good money - The room was exactly as pictured and advertised. Very good internet connection all around. Very cooperative and welcoming staff. Exceptionally clean room and bathroom. The bus stop to the Hyde Park is literally outside the hotel. The hotel is next to Kensington Gardens, few minutes to Holland garden and a bit of a walk to the Hyde Park. I had the breakfast included in my stay, I loved it but it was repetitive.

- Elena (9/5): Beautiful, well-appointed room with attentive staff in a great location. - Beautiful view, well-appointed and clean room. Staff were attentive. Breakfast was lovely with lots of healthy options. Location was exceptional. The walls were thin, so you could hear conversations in the room next door.

- CDelkPatton21 (3/5): View of Hyde Park was fantastic and a short dash to Kensington Palace. - They are charging us twice! A bill of $3000.00 appeared a week after we checked out! Currently discussing with them., ridiculous! As well as disappointing! So beware!!! when you come and see us here considering yourself warned! There was no American breakfast selections at the buffet ! You are judged by the doorman as you dress. ( he never opened the car door for me.) Drive up twice as well as departed via car!
