- Karen (4/5): - Hotel is barely a 2 stars hotel. Starting with the elevators they are supposed to have 4 but only two work properly. Also, when you check in they say they have 6 restaurants, that’s a lie they only have two “specialty restaurants “ for dinner and impossible to get a same day reservation. Only one bar for whole facility. Buffet restaurant is too small and you have to make a big line every time you want to eat. Hotel does not have A/C at the lobby/bar area. Property conditions are poor, hotels need maintenance and remodeling. Only two pools and very difficult to get sitting there. I won’t recommend this property for future staying.

The downside is the quality of the facilities. The tower is old and although the entrance atrium is really nice, there are a few things that are outdated. For instance, the elevator is slow and really hot inside. The conditions in the room were also not great. The air conditioning worked well (thanks god!), but they have a few minor items that were either run down or broken. For instance, the main large mirror had desilvering all around (black regions and spots), the lift rod of the drain stoper in the sink was broken and a few other minor things. The bottom line is that this is a great place with exceptional works and nice environment/vibe outside the room. However, if you want a luxurious room, then you will be disappointed. In any case, I highly recommend this place.

- ALEXANDRA (6/5): - I have stayed at several properties in Cancun and this hotel is okay at best. Room - The beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable and the AC did not go below 74 degrees. We even had maintenance come look at it. We had issues with the shower draining and the toilet constantly running that maintenance looked at as well. When we would have house keeping done - we would get 3 towels (3 people in the room) but no floor mat, hand towel or wash clothes. We would have to call daily asking for more. Restaurants - We felt like this was deceiving because not all of the restaurants are open daily and you must make reservations ahead of time for them, aside from the buffet. The food at the restaurants was okay/decent. The buffet was not good at all with very limited options. The smallest buffet I’ve seen at an all inclusive. At the buffet it was very hard to get simple things like water, coffee, maple syrup, etc. Also, the cafe does not do any coffee flavors/syrups and bars are not open until 11am. Grounds - Very dated hotel. The elevators are extremely hot and slow and the pools are just okay. They are pretty small. Staff - We had overall great experiences with staff. Kevin, Fernando and Pedro just to name a few. Overall, this hotel is not worth what we paid and we had to make the most of it.

La ubicación es inmejorable: playa limpia, agua cristalina, sin sargazo y muy cerca de la zona de antros, bares y restaurantes. Las instalaciones son decentes. Las albercas están muy bien cuidadas y la zona de camastros es cómoda, pero el hotel en general luce algo antiguo. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y tenían aire acondicionado, aunque en las áreas comunes no hay, lo cual puede ser incómodo en horas calurosas. El servicio fue excelente, todo el personal fue amable, servicial y siempre al pendiente. En especial Rosamaría, la concierge, quien nos atendió con un trato impecable y cálido durante toda la estancia. Se nota que les importa el bienestar del huésped. La comida del buffet fue regular, con opciones algo repetitivas, pero los restaurantes de especialidad sí mejoran mucho la calidad. Lo negativo fue el sistema de reservaciones: habíamos apartado una cena en el restaurante italiano, pero nunca nos informaron que estaría cerrado ese día, lo que nos obligó a repetir cena en el mismo lugar y llegar sin reservación, lo cual es incómodo. El ambiente es relajado, cómodo y seguro, ideal tanto para parejas como para familias. Entre semana se disfruta más, aunque el fin de semana hay más gente. En general, una buena opción con excelente atención, gran ubicación y un ambiente muy relajado. Let the front desk aware again and we got no help at all. Ac barely worked. Hot water issues. No one was helpful or better yet wanted to help resolve any of the issues we were having! We had 4 rooms booked it was awful. Elevators had no ac at all either. The resort definitely went down hill. No pool activities or entertainment. The list is endless of all the dissatisfactions.

- Janet (2/5): - June 14-18 / travel for pleasure - 2 adults All inclusive. this is my experience = i would like to share that I am very generous, tipping everyone.. this resort was a WASTE OF MONEY 👎 WITH SO MANY OTHER HOTELS TO CHOOSE FROM, YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD DO BETTER. 1st off : Very, Unwelcoming staff upon check in, not friendly, Elevators are very SLOW - +, NO AC in elevators?/ you're in a hot box, extremely slow elevators & it was not busy. The room Tv or Toilet was not working- shouldn't these things be tested before issuing room to a guest? Buffet was low quality food, my companion got sick after eating buffet food / violent vomiting on Day 1. A doctor had to be called for the severity. Then they charge $8 for Room service ? Even though you have all inclusive, and you're not allowed to bring your own food to the room? Seating in buffet restaurant again it was not crowded or busy, we request a table by the window.As we are on vacation and we like the view of the ocean, with over ten empty tables, they told us that we can only sit at a table that holds two chairs!? Also calling the front desk to report these various things. The phone would ring and no answer. When I did reach someone i would be transferred around several times. I did speak with a Guest Services Manager "Grisselle" who was very nice to speak to but, nothing changed, as my stay was very disappointing. Outdated hotel & features. I have photos, but it's not letting me upload? Overall very disappointing.

- Toan (2/5): - The location is good and convenient. Direct access to beautiful beach. The room is not bad with daily service. However, my experience at their dinning restaurant in all 3 nights are TERRIBLE and beyond disappointment. In both times i tried their grill and Asian restaurants, we had to wait 1hr to 1hr and 30 minutes to get seated and until the food comes to the table. The food is not even good and the waiter even told us that food is pre_made and cannot be customized. What made my experience worse was the attitude of the employee at thr Grill restaurant when they served us. We had to wait 40 mins before we got seated and they sat other ppl who came later first. When I questioned, she ignored me and just said that we were next without further explanation. When i asked to talk with manager, he then explained that bc other ppl wants to sit in balcony . But that same couple after getting sat down in balcony then requested to go inside bc it was too windy and then we had to wait for another 15 mins bc of that. Same experience occured in my second time using their Asian restaurant when we had to wait at least 1 hr to get the food to our table. We also saw other couple got up and left in anger after waiting for a long time. This is my 2nd visit to this resort but my first time wasn't All inclusive and didn't have to experience in their dinning restaurants. This will be my last time visiting this resort.

Super Hot. No air. Very small. We walked 10 flights up and down it took so long for the elevators. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights. We got served coffee with our breakfast THE LAST DAY. They never come to your table and offer you anything. You self serve most of the time. And they seat u right next to someone when there are tons of empty seating. Hands down the worst stay I’ve had in all my travels. Wouldn’t recommend at all. And Cancún itself was just horrid. Too many salesman who sale the same thing. They wanted $40 US for a IPhone charger. Then when you order food they UP THE PRICE at the register. And try to make you use ATMS where your charged a PERCENTAGE rather than a flat fee. It’s crazy there now. I see why no one talks about Cancún anymore
- Deborah (10/5): - This all-inclusive resort is a gem: 5 restaurants/snack bars, gorgeous beachfront rooms; excellent cleaning service, and activities seemingly arranged around the clock. Though you don’t need to leave the resort unless you want, you should. Shopping areas include markets with lovely original designs, and excursions to places like Tulum’s Mayan Ruins are a must-see. The concierge can arrange anything for you. We’ll return soon.

Food is just ok, entertainment mixed depending on night some good some just ok. If you are looking for nice resort definitely worth considering great beach too. - Sebastian (10/5): - We put a lot of time and effort into going on this vacation that was much needed for my family and I. Everything about our experience was amazing! Griselle, the property manager made sure that we were satisfied and had a great vacation. Our housekeeper, Reyna was the best. Our room was spotless every day. The concierge staff downstairs also was very helpful especially Mariana, she was very kind and sincere. All of the servers were amazing and attentive at all venues, (pool, cabanas, restaurants, etc.) Variety of food options that were all great. It does take a while to get dinner so keep that in mind, if you have kids tell them you want their food sooner rather than later and they will accommodate. Staying at the altitude building will give you a better experience. The room service is nice to have. Also, keep in mind you should be tipping the staff, this is how they make a living. Get up early if you want umbrella and chairs on the beach. A day with the cabana was a wonderful experience and very relaxing. Muchimas gracias a todos. Nos va a regresar in el futuro :)

They didn't work most of the time or were very slow. 4. The specialty restauraunts were all booked when we checked into the hotel so we could not reserve any special dining. We were forced to eat at the buffet or deli the whole stay. 5. The buffet was closed all day Sunday.

If you do stay here, I recommend reserving a room in the Altitude tower as it's a newer building. The food was decent, but the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet surpassed the other restaurant options. All said, the beach and staff exceeded expectations (especially Janer and Mark). Overall, it was worth the price we paid for the trip. If anyone knows what the different color wristbands are, please let me know (it's killing me not knowing what each color denotes. I would stay here again.

The beach was great .the location was fantastic close to everything.we enjoyed the food at the three restaurants on property.All the staff at the hotel were amazing so helpful. The only problem we had was this hotel has four elevator.which in the five day we stay there we never saw all four running once there were three ,most of the time two and a few times just one .this hotel has fourteen floors .so that was I bit of a problem. But overall we really enjoyed our stay One last thing we REALLY ENJOYED THE CABANAS ON THE BEACH

When I was leaving they said I needed to check out to be able to leave and stated my daughter was not on the reservation, when she clearly was. It was stated on Expedia. Finally after a heated debate, having them go through my phone I paid the $400 to be able to leave. I was close to missing my flight and missed the shuttle scheduled and had to get a taxi. It was an awful experience. It seemed they do this often but its when people are leaving so nobody sees it.

- Sharon (10/5): Excellent front desk/concierge service & treatment - I had a great experience checking in with Cindy who upgraded me to a suite & allowed me access to the room when I got there at 9am + gave me the all-inclusive benefits to start right away instead of at noon (thanks to booking through this app!) I then met with my concierge Janer who was excellent, texted me all the hotel info I needed & more. He had a welcome gift sent to my room not long after arriving. When it came to check out time he gave me access to continue using the all-inclusive benefits until I left at 5pm (after checking out at noon) and he also gave me a complimentary access to the Moskito beach club (a Bali bed & the all inclusive!) Roberto at the Moskito beach club was amazing, after ordering a few drinks he just kept coming without asking for the rest of the day. He was super friendly and helpful. He also brought me lunch there which was pretty good too - pizza al pastor. The service at the buffet was almost non existent though. It seemed as though they were only there to clear tables. The service and meal I had at the oriental a la carte was excellent. The room was clean and spacious with gorgeous views of course. I had a huge patio to sit and enjoy the views, and even some music from coco bongo. This hotel is on the best beach in Cancun, so if you’re looking for an amazing beach and stay to go with it, definitely book here.
