- Linda (1/5): Hospital emergency room because of hotel spa - Nearly went blind from filthy spa!!! Went to hospital as I got severe eye infection from their spa area that was not hygienic. They have people sitting naked instead of sitting on towels & they never come in to clean or check anything. I spent hours in there and staff never came in to wipe anything down. Their staff were extremely rude and unkind. Got very defensive. I was stuck for days just could not go out due to unable to wear contact lens and I’m legally blind without them. I had to beg for 1 free breakfast as some sort of compensation. This hospital was out of my pocket they lied about cleaning the place and it smells. Not sure how you feel about people’s bare ass & balls sitting on spa seating where you might place your hand but beware!!! Costly hospital visit!!!!

- Sophie (8/5): Lovely hotel with some small niggles. - The room we stayed in was renovated, spacious and welcoming. We stayed in a King Premium and there was plenty of space for 2 adults and a toddler. The hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly and generally helpful. The Marlene bar was a lovely addition to the hotel. The option of the spa / swimming pool was also welcome. Location was good, particularly if travelling with children. We would stay again but would not take a room on the East wing until this is renovated to the same standard as the West wing. We had an issue with the light in our bathroom not turning off. This was a problem as there was a glazed window between the room and the bathroom which allowed light to flood the bedroom during the night. This was raised with the hotel, but it took a long time and lots of back and forth to find a resolution. We were offered an alternative room, however these rooms were on the East wing and not renovated and certainly not to the same standard of the room we had. The staff were polite and helpful in attempting to find a resolution. It was just frustrating how long it took and that the alternative rooms offered were not to the same standard. Further when asked for compensation in terms of room service as we’d been unable to go out to eat, this was initially refused and spa access offered instead. When a manager was spoken to this was satisfactorily resolved. The swimming pool is a cost as is well documented within reviews. However, the pool was exceptionally cold which meant everyone was crowding the jacuzzi when we visited.

The room was really clean and maintenance was good too The room that I booked was with a king bed on purpose cause I have kids, one of them being a 4month old. They gave us a room with 2 twin beds put together and when I explained them that I wanted the king bed cause the crack between the twin beds is dangerous for 4 months old babies they could not understand my request and gave me a lot of excuses and honestly I don’t go on vacation to argue with people so at the end I just said it was good like that. Which led to me not being able to sleep properly cause was worried for my baby the whole time that the baby didn’t want to stay in the crib. Also I requested a crib in the room and was not there at check in, the room that booking show is not what they gave us was actually smaller I pointed that out too but I guess communication was bad on some end cause they could not understand what I was talking about

We loved the location as it was near the beautiful garden but it is a bit far from the Mitte for those who prefer to be in the center of the touristic area. Transportation is very easy from the hotel, so was no issue getting anywhere

Alors que je l’ai précisé 4 fois avant de venir. Vraiment pas spécial. Personnel froid et pas spécialement attentif. On nous a fait croire à un surclassement gratuit mais c’était le processus normal quand on donne son adresse pour devenir membre de IHG. Assez moyen. Restaurant trop cher pour l’Allemagne. Prix exorbitants pour un service moyen et des quantités limitées.

Я заплатила за одну ніч достатню сумму, що відпочити з дороги і продовжити свій шлях, але мене вразило, що такого рівня готель не надає своїм гостям безкоштовний доступ до спа зони чи басейну. Парковка підземна теж платна - 37 евро за ніч. Я не зупинюсь більше в цьому готелі.

- Reza (3/5): Avoid if you have nice car or you like quiet room, staff don't care about your requests. - Location is close to city center and zoo I booked Garden view room through booking but when we I asked and show them my booking they denied and told they don't have garden view rooms at all, they provide us city view room very noisy. we couldn't open window because taxi drivers down there were talking and fighting always together and made big noise on nights. The hotel staff didn't care about my booking and even didn't tried to change the room as I requested, hotel is very big but I think the staff on reception are not very nice with type of foreigners or maybe their English is poor but we didn't received well despite amount we paid. so really Dorset worth to pay 250 EUR per night and get the poor service, I will not book for the second time there. very noisy room we couldn't sleep well, Parkig is nightmare , if you have nice car avoid it because the parking exit is very tight and curve and caused my car little scratch , if I knew parking is like that I never booked there. breakfast is fine but not like Marryout hotel.

Monica at front desk was very professional and lively to make guests feel at home. Nice quiet area. All perfet but as we say "there us always room for improvement" the management really know how to improve.

- Johnsson (7/5): Trevlig vistelse, men hade önskat lite mer av hotellet för priset man betalade. - Väldigt centralt till varuhuset KaDeWe och shoppinggatorna. Nära till Zoologischer Garten och stationen med direkt tåg till flygplatsen (Berlin Brandenburg) och tunnelbana för att ta sig runt i Berlin. Fina och fräscha rum från folk med en hög standard, samt möjlighet till städning något som vi dock inte utnyttjade. Samt att personalen vi hade vid incheckningen var duktiga på engelska och hade svaren på frågorna man hade. Frukosten enligt mig var över prisad för var den var, dock trevlig frukost personal som hällde upp juicen och hämtade dem varma dryckerna till en. Samt att polen inte ingick även om man bodde på hotellet. Gymmet var gratis men 10€ per person för att få använda polen tyckte jag var dåligt. Förstår om man inte bor på hotellet men vill utnyttja polen. Men för oss hotellgäster var det extremt dåligt.

Das Hotel hat sehr viele Zimmer und ist gut gebucht, deswegen war der Pool sehr voll (war für uns kein Problem aber für andere Gäste schon) und beim Frühstück war auch sehr viel los. Trotzdem hat es alles gegeben und das Personal bringt den Kaffee auch zum Tisch. Unser Duschkopf ist abgegangen (nach ca 30min kam der Techniker) und wir blieben im Lift stecken (aber auch hier wurden wir nach 5 Minuten befreit)

- Tomáš (8/5): - Skvělá poloha hotelu hned vedle zoo, autobus do centra přímo před hotelem. Skvělé a milé recepční, které se vším ochotně pomohou. Dobré snídaně. Zaparkování před hotelem pro check in a odnos zavazadel byl pro obsluhu očividně problém, asi jsme zabrali místo nějakému taxi ... Postel pro deti šíře 1,1m byla opravdu nedostačující. Toto bylo sděleno až po zaplacení nevratné rezervace. Prosklené zdi kolem záchodu v koupelně jsou příšerné!

- Jirka (9/5): Příjemný hotel u ZOO - Lokace blízko ZOO, parkování 36€/24 hodin, profesionální personál hotelu a snídaně na úrovni. Dostali jsme pokoj č.514, který přímo sousedí s trojicí výtahových šachet. Bohužel výtahy jezdí prakticky non-stop včetně noci a prostě ruší. Nereklamovali jsme to, protože jsme se nechtěli balit s dětmi a stěhovat se, když jsme zde byli pouze na dvě noci a navíc nám byl povolen dřívějši check-in, což nebyla povinnost hotelu. Pak tam bylo ještě několik drobností, které kazí celkový dojem z pokoje, jako napřiklad velmi vrzající klika od dveří do koupelny.

Trotz später Anreise und recherchiert, nicht ausgebuchtem Hotel verweigerte und man uns ein kostenloses Zimmer Upgrade allergikertaugliches Zimmer. Auch meinem Wunsch , uns ein Zimmer in einer hohen Etage zu geben, kam man nicht nach, obwohl noch zahlreiche Zimmer zur Verfügung standen. Da wir uns bei unserer späten Ankunft um 21:30 Uhr keinen Diskussionen mehr aussetzen wollten, haben wir dann den Mehrpreis bezahlt.
