• Yana (1/5): Very bad - do not book this place - The most disgusting place I have ever had a chance to see. Old dust everywhere - on the walls, furniture - literally everywhere. Bed sheets are not fresh and have stains on it - it definitely wasn’t washed after previous guests, shaving hair in the sink from previous guests, owner didn’t even use a vacuum cleaner to prepare the place. On the floor under the beds there was a lot of trash like old packages from McDonald’s food, hair everywhere. We didn’t stay at this place we were so disgusted we found emergency hotel for a night and then contacted booking com support. A/c didn’t work, air in the house was very heavy, there was no light in the kitchen. In the middle of the room there was a table and one more table for majong. I felt like I am in some garage and not apartment. We travel a lot around the world and this is the first place we didn’t use as guests and evacuated. Owner was sarcastic and not helpful at all, he refused to return our money back.
• Robert (10/5): - Love the place. Great Location. It was really near to Ikebukuro West Station. And near to so many malls and shopping places. Family mart was jus 1min walk away. There was even a traditional bath house jus a few steps away. It was so convenient for us to travel to various places like Harajuku, Shinjuku and Shibuya.
• 典子 (7/5): ロケーションと6〜8人の宿泊コストパフォーマンスが良いお宿 - ロケーションはとてもよいです。 ところどころにホコリが溜まっていたのが残念でした。2階のトイレのスリッパ、布団のシーツやまくらカバーなど全ての布団に準備されていたら、もう少し快適でした。

• Mark (10/5): Quiet house has everything you need for a home away from home. - This property is in a great location with close proximity to the Ikebukuro Station, Don Q, and a variety of shops, restaurants, spas, and bars/clubs. The security of the house, Upstairs toilet and downstairs shower/bath, and kitchen ideal for a group or family. Owner very responsive to calls and text. The property sleeps five-six comfortably, eight if you sleep on the floor futon, 10 is packing it in..
• Cherilyn (9/5): Superb - This is traditional Japanese house with security & privacy considerations well-thought off. As we stayed during winter, the windows & doors were shut most of the time. The tatami mat bedrooms kept the floor warm. The toilet on each floor was definitely a lifesaver! The new trundle beds are new and toasty. Do support the vending machine outside the house, definitely cheaper than combini.. The living room space was tight with the chairs and drying clothes rack and un-useable mahjong table. That’s all
• Rowena (8/5): Value for money, great location. - Peaceful location, near food chains & 8 minute walk to train station. Many convenience stores very close to it. Kitchen amenities are complete and we are able to cook our own food. Owner is very considerate for letting us leave our luggages until 3PM….kind of late check out for free. Ideal for maximum of 5 people, more than this could feel crumpy. There were 8 of us and property description said could accommodate upto 8.

• Hatifah (7/5): Good - Convenient location 10 mins walk to train station. Relatively quiet neighbourhood. Apt is not on a busy street. The japanese sliding windows in bedroom made the room bright at night. Difficult to sleep. Should replace with curtains Rooms look large in pics. But each room could only fit 2 ppl
• Fengtso (6/5): Not bad. It was a great experience staying with friends. I was very happy. - Internet speed is very fast. There is plenty of hot water for bathing. The air was very bad when we first checked in. Later we cleaned the air conditioner air filter ourselves and it got better. There were also some small cockroaches.
• James (10/5): A great option for exploring Tokyo - Great location, about 5 minutes from Ikebukuro station on the JR Yamamoto line. The location is very convenient for getting to Shinjuku (about 10 minutes by train) to meet connecting Shinkansen for day trips to Fuji, or just to explore the sights of Tokyo. There is a Lawson and Family Mart close by, and also a Don Quote store. Directions to get there were clear and easy to understand. The host was attentive and replied to emails quickly. The rooms were clean and had plenty of bedding and blankets etc We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again one day. This is not the accommodations fault, but the neighbours would sit on the balcony talking loudly at night which was a bit annoying, but not the fault of the property.
• Sophy (8/5): A 2 bedroom little house to yourself close to Toshima. - Location is good. Close to many stores, eats and metro lines. Traditional and cozy. The house is a bit simple and outdated .
• Maria (9/5): Lovely little "home away from home". - Nothing fancy, but had all the basics and soon felt like "home away from home". Was wonderful to have access to three rooms, so we each had our own. Easy self-check in with detailed instructions and door code was sent by the host - a great help if you're new to Tokyo. Loads of restaurants with good, affordable food options close by. Even though it's a bustling neighbourhood, the spot the apartment is in, is quiet. I would recommend it. There is no plug for the kitchen sink which made washing dishes a little tricky. The cleaning fee is quite steep.
