- MEGAN (10/5): Our absolute favorite hotel. A gem. - Wonderful location, quick and easy access to Parc Luxembourg, shops, terrific cafe, wonderful restaurants, metro and bus lines. Our suite was worth every centime: lovely, comfortable bed and sitting area, very nice, comfortably-sized bathroom. Several closets that made it easy to unpack and stay organized. Excellent staff!! Also loved that the neighborhood seems filled primarily with locals, not tourists. The view from a cafe is of kids coming and going from school, parents and business people meeting and greeting. Lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Will definitely stay here again, if possible.

The breakfasts were great. Lovely Compte cheese. We enjoyed the honesty bar. All four of us said we would come back. We stayed 3 nights. Close to at least 3 metro stations. One hint - once you have booked the hotel, immediately book a bistro called Chez Marcel for dinner. It is 2 minutes walk away and is a bit of a diamond and constantly booked out.

- FELIPE (10/5): Hermoso y bien ubicado - Un hotel hermoso, muy acogedor. Fuimos en invierno y en las tardes encendían la chimenea del lobby. Nos dieron un upgrade a una habitación con balcón a la calle, muy bonita. La ubicación del hotel es ideal, está rodeado de restaurantes y tiendas, y el barrio es agradable para caminar, se siente muy seguro. También hay dos estaciones de metro a pocos minutos. Atención varía según el recepcionista de turno. Como ejemplo, dos veces pedimos el desayuno a la habitación, y en ambas ocasiones se olvidaron de algo: o los cubiertos, o la segunda taza de café, o el pan, etc. El primer día, el recepcionista al teléfono se molestó con nosotros pues tuvimos que llamarles dos veces y al parecer él se encontraba ocupado con otros huéspedes. No era un problema grave, pero no nos pareció que fuese la actitud adecuada. Al día siguiente, cuando nuevamente se olvidaron de los cubiertos, nos atendió una recepcionista diferente. Cabe decir que ella sí tuvo buenas maneras y solucionó el problema rápidamente tras un simple pedido de disculpas.

My room was next to the elevator which tended to be noisy. The bed in the room was not very comfortable, but tolerable. We liked to location. Very close to the Metro.

(Close to great restaurants and cafes, two metro stations, Gare Monparnasse, Jardin de Luxembourg, 6th arrondissement shopping) Breakfast is quite good, with croissant, bread, and a pastry, yogurt, cheese, ham,if you want it, fruit, orange juice and coffee or tea) I rarely take the time to give reviews but want to do so for this hotel because I have stayed there many times and always enjoy my stay. Highly recommended.

De amateuristische aanpak van (sommig)personeel.Verwarming was defect bij aankomst kamer,niet gecontroleerd door personeel.Ontbijten gebeurde in inkomhal aan de receptie aan “bijgezette”opklapbare terrastafeltjes onprofessioneel en tussen bestaande meubels geplaatst voor de inkomdeur als die in de winter opengaat je blauw van de kou ziet.Daarvoor alleen kom ik nooit meer naar dit hotel.

- Dreamer26743508054 (10/5): A great location and a lovely hotel - We stayed in 2022 for a weekend and booked again for Christmas 2025. We enjoyed our stay very much. Room was clean and spacious. The only small thing was the mattresses were a little soft (but certainly not a big problem). The staff were friendly and very helpful. The open fire in the evenings was a treat. The breakfast was good. The location is excellent- a quiet area well served by the metro.
- Shaw (9/5): - This was a wonderful place to stay! The staff was great, and we really enjoyed the french boutique feel of the place. The rooms were clean and spacious, and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed our little balcony as well to really make us feel the Parisian lifestyle! If you're looking for a good place to stay to feel like a local this is a great spot. With that said, you'll probably want to take the metro to visit most attractions (Eiffel Tower, l'arc de Triomphe, Galeries Lafayette, etc.). You can still definitely walk to the central attractions, it just might take around 20-30minutes (I love walking though because then you get to really take in the Parisian street scape and life!) The metro stop is literally right around the corner from the hotel which is really nice too!
- Jonathan (10/5): This hotel was recommended to us and is a great discovery in Paris, combining style and comfort. - This is a comfortable and stylish boutique hotel in a quiet but very convenient location close to the Jardins de Luxembourg and less than 15 minutes' walk from Gare de Montparnasse. Main areas are well-furnished and decorated with style. The bedrooms, too, are the same, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Absolutely nothing

- Catherine (9/5): A very comfortable stay in a friendly boutique hotel with enviable location. - Breakfast was a typical Parisian petit-dejeuner with more than enough to eat. It kept us going for the rest of the day. We appreciated the inclusion of fresh fruit and yogurt to complement all the carbs. All breakfast items were clearly chosen with care and from local providers. A tip top start to the day. I can’t really think of anything.

- julieryn1 (10/5): Perfect Getaway - Wonderful old fashioned type of French hotel but with upgrades, of course! Very comfortable bedroom/bathroom and generous breakfast. Cozy lobby with fireplace sitting room and excellent location. Great recommendations for dinner in the neighborhood. The staff members were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Definitely on the list for a return visit.
- J2037OIlindat (8/5): Family stay at Sainte Beuve - Recently stayed for four nights at Hotel Sainte Beuve. An older style hotel in a quiet street in a busy location close to Boulangeries, cafes, and small grocery stores. Communications good before we arrived and excellent service from Pema at reception (booking a taxi, recommending restaurants etc). Stored our luggage for the day when we had a late flight out of Paris with access to a bathroom. Hubbie also used the downstairs lounge to work in a few times which is very comfy (lounges/charis, fireplace, free tea/coffee after 11am). We had two connecting rooms on the 4th floor with a view over the street (travelled with hubby and young adult daughter). Fairly spacious for Paris standards with bathrooms with a bath, which we used after long days walking in Paris in the cold and rain. Extra furniture in the bedrooms which adds to the 'quaint' feel of the room/hotel, but is not serviceable and does just take up space. Lighting on the stairwell needs to be improved as it is quite dim. We had stayed in a similar priced hotel in the 6th (Odeon part) four weeks prior and found that location and value for money a little better. If you stay, try Moustache restaurant in the same street on the same side - amazing!

- Yvonne (9/5): Super! - Heel fijn verblijf gehad. Erg vriendelijke mensen, nette kamers en lekkere bedden. Heel goed ontbijt. Locatie heel fijn en goed punt om naar andere gedeeltes van Parijs te reizen met meerdere metro stations in de buurt.

- Julia (9/5): Charming hotel in great location. - Great location for cafes, walking to the Luxembourg Gardens, Louvre and Musee d’Orsay. Everything we needed is close enough to walk and enjoy the sights. The hotel is charming and comfortable. Our room wasn’t large but it was manageable with all our luggage. The bathroom was very nice with a pretty bathtub. There is an elevator and lovely lounge to enjoy coffee and tea. The rooms are rather small but otherwise, a wonderful hotel.
