• Camilla (10/5): Un weekend al di là delle aspettative - Augusto è fantastico, super gentile, accogliente e simpatico. Addirittura volendo fornisce una mappa del centro con dei consigli utili. La camera e il.bagno sono puliti e accoglienti (nel bagno c'è anche il kit con OGNI cosa necessaria dallo spazzolino allo shampoo ecc...). Il letto e i cuscini comodissimi e la TV molto grande. La colazione è cucinata sul momento da Augusto dolce e salata (una delizia). La pozione è comoda sia per raggiungere il centro a piedi sia per raggiungere ogni luogo in metro perché è a 200 metri dalla fermata. Ci torneremo assolutamente. Tutto è stato di alto livello.

• Alessandro drera (10/5): Soggiorno ottimo - Il B&B è molto bello e si trova in una posizione centrale, vicinissimo al vaticano. Per gli spostamenti non si ha alcun tipo di problema, in quanto la struttura si trova vicino sia alla metro che alle fermate dei pullman. Augusto è una persona gentilissima, super disponibile e che tiene davvero tanto al benessere degli ospiti. La stanza è giustissima per due persone, con anche tutte le comodità che possono servire o volere. Il bagno è pulitissimo e molto comodo. La colazione viene preparata direttamente da Augusto che, preventivamente, il giorno prima ti chiede che cosa tu preferisca mangiare. Un soggiorno davvero ottimo e super consigliato

• Kamila (10/5): Nós atendeu perfeitamente. - Augusto é um ótimo anfitrião, nos atendeu muito bem. Foi muito atencioso e sempre prestativo, além de dar ótimas dicas da cidade. A localização é excelente e o café da manhã estava uma delícia, preparado por ele mesmo. Recomendo muito! O banheiro fica no corredor. Mas é bem limpo e organizado.

• Olha (10/5): Ідеально👍 - Помешкання у Аугусто-ідеальний варіант. Нам з сином все сподобалось. До всіх памʼяток можна дістатися пішки. До замку Святого Ангела і Ватикану- рукою подати, найдовше до Колізею-50 хвилин, але то ж прогулянка по Риму-ми для того і прилетіли. Сніданки Аугусто- то смакота-ситно, якісні свіжі продукти, запашна кава. На будь-яке питання- відразу реагував, порадив чудові ресторани поблизу. Рейтинг від нас 1000000/10. Аугусто, дякуємо!!🥰 Швидко закінчився відпочинок.

Il valore aggiunto della vacanza è stato l' host Augusto che si è reso molto disponibile per venire incontro alle nostre esigenze e ci ha dato delle info molto utili per trascorrere al meglio i nostri giorni a Roma. • Dagmar (10/5): Wonderful stay - We had a wonderful stay at Da Augusto. The location couldn’t be better—literally just steps from St. Peter’s Square. The apartment was spotless, and the bathroom was fully equipped with everything you might need, from shower gel to a toothbrush. We stayed in the quadruple room, and the mattress was really comfortable, it was not too soft as usually in hotels, it had a perfect firm support, which we really appreciated. There was also a small fridge in the room, which was really convenient for keeping water cold during the hot days. The view of the charming street below was a lovely bonus. The metro is only a minute away, though we barely needed it since the city center is so easy to reach on foot. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was Augusto himself. He is incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Every morning he prepared breakfast tailored to our preferences: fresh sweet croissants, toast with ham and cheese, tea, and excellent coffee. We especially appreciated his daily recommendations for places to visit based on our plans—his tips really enriched our trip. If we return to Rome, we will definitely choose Da Augusto again. Colazione personalizzata. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, direi il corridoio di ingresso dell'appartamento, che non rende giustizia al resto.

• Sebastien (10/5): Week-end prolongé à Rome en couple avec enfants - Augusto est aux petits soins avec ses hôtes. Il répond rapidement aux questions, il vous accueille avec un café, il donne de bons conseils d’organisation, de visites, de transport, etc. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et diversifié. Fruits, yaourts, viennoiseries, œufs, charcuterie, toasts, etc. Les lits sont confortables (lit superposé juste un peu bas, donc facile de se cogner la tête). L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter le Vatican, et à deux pas du métro pour aller dans le centre. Si vous aimez marcher, il faut compter 20 min pour rejoindre la piazza del popolo, 50min pour le Colisée. Il y a pas mal de restaurants dans le coin. C’est assez calme la nuit. Rien.

But the best part was the owner. We felt as if we were at home. Every morning he prepared us an excellent breakfast with premium ingredients and superb coffee. Gave tips where to go and what to do. • Sander (8/5): Goede prijskwaliteitsverhouding met hele aardige gastheer vlakbij het Vaticaan - -Het B&B zit op een paar 100 meter van 't Vaticaan en metrostation Ottaviano. Als je het gebouw vh B&B uitstapt, heb je vlakbij een supermarkt voor drinken en eten. Er zit ook een koffiebar voor goede Italiaanse koffie. -De B&B van Augusto heeft een goede lift wat fijn en belangrijk is. Daarnaast airco in de kamers. Prettig want met die airco kon ik slapen omdat het erg warm was in Rome toen ik er was. De bedden vond ik goed slapen, met name prettige hoofdkussens. -Tot slot zorgt Augusto iedere morgen voor een uitgebreid en heerlijk ontbijt en kun je hem van alles vragen over betaalbare restaurants en mooie plekken in Rome wat natuurlijk zeer handig is! In combinatie met de Italiaanse keuken, de zeer betaalbare prijzen en de fijne, laissez-faire sfeer in de stad zorgde ervoor dat het bezoek aan Rome voor mij geweldig was. -Voor mijn gevoel kleine douchecabine, maar dit kan persoonlijk zijn.

He made sure that we’ve got everything we need and serve us amazing breakfast, he made sure we get fresh bread! Beds are comfortable and everything is clean. It was a last minute trip so we haven’t prepared itinerary but was able to come up with one with the help of Augusto and the map that he has given us! The property is very close to everything and 10 minutes walk to Vatican. We really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend Da Augusto! 🙂

Il vero valore aggiunto è il padrone di casa: sempre presente, gentile e disponibilissimo, pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza e a dare consigli preziosi su come vivere Roma in modo “smart”, lontano dalla folla ma senza rinunciare a luoghi di grande valore. Grazie ai suoi suggerimenti abbiamo scoperto una Roma più autentica. Esperienza super positiva, consigliatissimo e assolutamente da rifare! La struttura é in una zona pedonale quindi se si arriva con la macchina puó essere disagevole, ma il padrone ci ha subito dato una gran mano con i bagagli!
• Genny (10/5): ממליצים בחום על המקום הזה! - המיקום מעולה ממש בלב רומא, קרוב לרכבת ולוותיקן. מקום האירוח מאוד ביתי ונוח, אוגוסטו - הוא מארח פשוט יוצא מן הכלל! מוכן לעשות בשבילכם כל מה שתצטרכו. אחד הימים היה חשש לשביתה ברכבות והוא רץ מיוזמתו לבדוק עבורינו אם אכן יש שביתה מתוך חשש שלא נספיק להגיע לקולסאום בזמן. אוגוסטוס גם המליץ לנו על אתרים טובים לרכישת כרטיסים ועזר לרכוש. חדר השירותים יוצא דופן, היה בו הכל עד לפרטים הקטנים גם הייתה אופציה לחימום כי היינו באוקטובר. מאוד אהבנו את המקום. אנחנו מטיילים הרבה ולא קבלנו כזה יחס עד היום. תודה לך, אוגוסטו!))) הכל היה נפלא! אפשר רק לציין שמיטת הקומתיים יותר מתאימה לילדים קטנים. אבל היא אחלה ונותנת פיתרון מעולה למשפחה מטיילת ביחד
• Kaloyan (10/5): Perfect family stay with exceptional hospitality in the heart of Rome - From the moment we arrived, Da Augusto felt warm, cozy, and welcoming — truly like staying in a home rather than just a place to sleep. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly sized for our family of two adults and two children. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided: a fridge, strong Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, and a clean, fully equipped private bathroom (including new toothbrushes for everyone, which was a lovely surprise). The beds were very comfortable, and the room was calm and relaxing after long days exploring Rome. We also loved the street view with beautiful Christmas lights, which added extra charm. The location is excellent. The Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Square and Basilica are about a 10-minute walk. The metro station and buses are only 3 minutes away, making it easy to reach the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and other attractions. The neighborhood felt safe and lively, with many shops, gelaterias, bakeries, supermarkets, and affordable restaurants nearby. Augusto is a wonderful host and genuinely kind person. Talking with him was always pleasant — he has interesting stories, a great sense of humor, and a very warm personality, while fully respecting guests’ privacy. He reviewed our travel plans, suggested improvements, and recommended great places we would have otherwise missed. On our last day, he kindly allowed us to leave our luggage while we enjoyed our final hours in Rome, which made everything stress-free. The hospitality was thoughtful and heartfelt. On a rainy day, Augusto provided umbrellas, and he also created a lovely Christmas atmosphere, making the stay feel extra cozy. Breakfast was fantastic and tailored to our preferences — the kids loved the variety, and we enjoyed excellent Italian coffee. All amenities worked perfectly. This is honestly the best B&B we’ve stayed in. Augusto’s kindness and genuine hospitality added warmth to our entire trip. We would love to return and warmly recommend. Everything was very well organized, clean, and comfortable, and Augusto made our stay extremely pleasant. We would love to return and recommend Da Augusto to anyone visiting Rome.

• Condo` (10/5): Un piacevole weekend ottombrino a Roma - Augusto un giovane uomo gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. Molto pratico, pronto a dare tutto l'aiuto di cui avevano bisogno. La stanza bella, semplice e con tutto il necessario. Nella quadrupla c'è una finestra che da una bella visuale su viale Ottaviano, i letti decisamente comodi. Tutto tenuto bene e ben organizzato. La posizione è comodissima per i mezzi e sicuramente è un punto di riferimento per futuri soggiorni a Roma. L'unica cosa che potrebbe dare fastidio solo ai fumatori è che non si può fumare, per chi vuole iniziare a smettere potrebbe essere un buon inizio.

• Tina (10/5): Awesome time - Our stay at Augusto‘s was awesome! Augusto made my kids and me feel more than welcome. He is such a great host that makes you feel comfortable. We really enjoyed our time at his B&B. Every morning he made fresh breakfast and asked what everyone of us would like to eat. He didn‘t hesitate to get fresh fruit, joghurt and oats. We really appreciated it. The location is great. Our room offered a lot of space and the bed was super comfy to rest after an exhausting day. It‘s a 5-10 minute walk to Peter‘s Basilica and the Vatican. Metro is just around the corner. And you can easily walk to visit the Pantheon etc. If we‘ll ever come back to Rome Augusto‘s B&B will be our place to be. /

Large and clean room and large and clean bathroom . Comfortable beds . Augusto is a wonderful host. He is extremely personable and truly enjoys hosting guests. He really takes the time to ensure that your stay is memorable.. We had an early flight out of Rome the morning of our departure. Augusto prepared breakfast for us and dropped it off at our room to ensure that we didn't leave hungry. Just so many little things that really make you feel at home. I highly recommend staying at Da Augusto for your Rome holiday. Nothing !!!

• Marco (10/5): Augusto... Definition eines Gastgeber! - Wie bereits mehrfach erwähnt, Augusto entspricht der Definition eines Gastgeber. Seine Persönlichkeit ist bewundernswert... gelassen, hilfsbereit, smart und überaus gastorientiert. Er gibt nicht einfach nur Tips zur Stadt, es wird sich Zeit genommen und anhand einer Karte welche man kostenlos bekommt, Tag für Tag eine Route je nach Vorlieben mit den wirklichen Highlights von Rom gezeichnet. Teilweise Örtlichkeiten welche einem nicht im Reiseführer bzw. per Suchmaschinen empfohlen werden. Ebenso ist er als Lebemann auch bestens über wirklich gute Küchen informiert und übernimmt nach seiner täglichen Empfehlung die Reservierungsanfrage im jeweiligen Restaurant. Teils macht es Sinn, mind. zwei bis drei Tage vorab zu reservieren. Das Frühstück wird anhand jedes einzelnen Gastes sowie dessen Wünschen bereitgestellt. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen... Klimaanlage, anständige Betten, sauberes Bad etc.. Letztlich kommen wir zur Lage. Wir behaupten, der optimale Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt in jede Richtung zu erkunden! Vielen vielen Dank dass wir deine Gäste sein durften, wir kommen wieder! Beste Grüße Fam. Röming

Sólo un poco de ruido exterior debido a las actividades de grupos del Jubileo, pero nada para que no pudieras descansar tranquilo en la habitación

• Georgina (10/5): Fantastic room, location and host! - Augusto was very welcoming and gave us loads of information on places to visit. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was across the hall and very clean with all toiletries provided. Breakfast was much more than we expected! Fruit, fresh pastries, fresh eggs.......! Location was fantastic, just a few minutes walk from metro and Vatican city. We loved everything! A fridge in the room would have been a nice extra, but we knew there wasn't one when we booked so we weren't expecting it.
• Cristina (10/5): Nice comfortable adventure in Rome - The host was very welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was adapted to the guest, which is both nice for the guest and good for the environment. The host even provided toothbrush and toothpaste, which are quite uncommon in hotels. I also got enough towels, water, normal shampoo and body wash, etc. I would recommend the host to provide bathrobes and slippers due to the bathrooms being outside the room. Without those you either have to take clothes and your usual shoes in the bathroom or get out in the hall only in towels and barefoot, which is inconvenient. Other than this, everything has exceeded my expectations
• Ivan (10/5): Exceptional - Augusto was an exceptional host, from the very first day to the last one. He allowed us to keep our luggage at the B&B before the check in time and also allowed us to keep it after our check out time.so we could still do siteseeing. Breakfast was plenty and very good, he was also generarous and kind enough to ask if we wanted more. Location is 10 plus if you want to stay close to the Vatican or Vatican museums. The restaurants close to the B&B were great, plenty of options. He also gave us a lot of good locations to visit that we were not aware of to maximize our time in Rome. In this space he went above and beyond. We would not have seen the Volto Santo in Manoppello. Thanks for that and many more of your advises. We would definitely stay here again. Bathroom is outside of the room in case any has questions but privacy was never a problem.
• Christos (10/5): A unique experience in Rome and Da Augusto - Our stay was a unique experience! The apartment is in a great location, right next to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast had a variety of options and was very tasty. However, the best part was the host himself, Augusto. Augusto is a special person, very kind, and always willing to help, from the smallest thing to the most important. I truly recommend it without hesitation, and if we visit Rome again, we will definitely stay here!

Every morning he asked if we had wishes regarding breakfast. He also gave his mobile number in case we would have any questions or problems. Nothing. Everything was great.

• Michael (10/5): Brilliant. Good location, no problems and great conversations with Augusto. Thank you. - Great location. Vatican museum 5 mins walk. Subway train station 3 mins walk. Supermarket across the road. Best of all was the owner, absolutely wonder guy. I travel a lot and have stayed at many establishments, but have never met an owner so helpful and as knowledgeable as Augusto. A really genuine person that made my stay home from home. Will always stay here if I go back to Rome. Road works outside the place were noisy, so I had to close the window . No big deal . They are scheduled to be finished end of October.

Augusto was the perfect host—cool, welcoming, and incredibly informative. He gave us fantastic tips on how to make the most of our time in the city, including the best ways to navigate transport to and from the airport and train station, which made everything so easy. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast Augusto prepared for us each morning, setting the perfect tone for our day. The location of Da Augusto is unbeatable—right beside the Vatican and within walking distance to all the main attractions. It made exploring Rome a breeze! The apartment itself had lovely Italian decor, full of charm and personality. We particularly loved the funky old-school lift and the access to the roof, which gave us beautiful views of the city. It felt like a truly authentic Roman experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we’re already dreaming of returning. Thank you, Augusto, for making our stay so memorable!
• Mert (10/5): Excellent - Mr. Augusto is a very warm-hearted person. I think it is very nice both in terms of room cleanliness and location. The breakfast was also very nice. It fully deserves to receive high scores. If I visit Rome again it will definitely be my first choice to stay again.
