The hotel is situated in the outskirts of rome , has a large parking, public transport near by, 2 beautifull pools one heated inside . Restaurants inside, others near by and one attached to the hotel fence. Excellent vacation.
- DevonKitty (10/5): Excellent Hotel - Convenient hotel for T5. It is top of the range for Heathrow Hotels but well worth it. The room was large and comfortable and very quiet and the bathroom had a bath and stand alone shower. I will continue to use this hotel when flying out.

- linngriffith (8/5): A Lovely Hotel - We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Crown Plaza in Rome. The rooms are large and we had a king sized bed. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the outdoor pool and hot tub. After a long day we loved relaxing at the free spa. It featured a warm pool and several steam rooms. I do wish the bed was softer.

Spacious grounds, large comfortable room, good dining, and great staff. This hotel stay was part of our cruise package. It is some distance from the city center of Rome, and there aren't any activities or sightseeing stops in the immediate area, but the taxis are abundant and our commute times were short.

- Ana Paula (9/5): - At check-in, I must admit we were quite saddened to learn that our 7-year-old son would not be able to use the swimming pool indoor facilities due to the hotel’s policy, and that their external pool was closed for maintenance works. This came as an unexpected disappointment for our family. However, what happened next truly touched us. Their team took the time to listen and understand our situation, and then went above and beyond to find a solution by allowing our son (and other children staying in their hotel) to use the pool on an exceptional basis in the mornings from 09:00 to 10:00. This thoughtful gesture meant so much more to us than we can easily put into words. The staff responsiveness, flexibility, and above all their human and compassionate approach made a real difference to our stay. It transformed what could have been a challenging experience into a memory we will always cherish with gratitude.

- ThomasWry (8/5): Great facility, with ONE issue. - The one issue of concern for our stays was the opportunistic grifter that operates the gift shop. we has an adapter for electrical that we thought did not work, so we purchased from a pleasant young lady at the shop a new oe for 35 euros, we then found ours did work after all. we asked if we could return unopened one, manager said they would pay back 15 euros after we had it fir one day, not used or opened, does not eflect well on Crown Plaza other wish very lovely facility. we stay at Crown Plaza in Canada.

Food could be broadened a little but wasnt bad, staff polite and was allowed a late check out for free. My wife is a cleaner, advised every inch was cleaned to perfect every time! Absolute amazing hotel, shame the pool wasnt open but is the only hotel id visit in rome, thak you guys for making our family holiday

Bar amazing and restraint served some amazing dishes. Very easy to get into Rome via hotel coach which is chargeable of getting a bus directly outside the hotel. Metro line A walking distance 25 min. Direct bus to Vatican city . Local shops and restraint 15/20 min walk of 5min by taxi.

- flhuskerfan (10/5): Nice Home Base for a Roman Holiday - If you want to stay in Rome in comfort without breaking the bank, this hotel is a great place to go. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are big, and the property has beautiful grounds. Restaurant and bar on property, if you don't want to roam. And it is out of the hustle and crowds of the City center. All that said, be aware that it is a little far to walk to any of the major attractions. About 30 minutes to the Vatican Museums, and around an hour to the City center. The hotel provides a shuttle with stops at (I believe) the Vatican, City Center and the Colosseum. You must reserve your space in advance. Transportation is convenient and timely by taxi or Uber, but will cost around €40. Public transportation is also convenient. The closest subway station is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel, but you can take a bus from a stop right near the hotel to the subway station. You can buy a 24 hour bus/subway pass at the hotel gift shop for very little (like, €1.70 per person, if I recall correctly). I tell you all this just to make sure that you are not surprised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate to come back in the future.
- Exploration689596 (10/5): Our go to hotel while in Rome! - he front desk staff are truly exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. Breakfast is a highlight, with generous hours and a great selection. We enjoyed ordering a pot of coffee and an omelette each morning, and the juices were excellent as well. There’s a nice variety to choose from, which keeps things interesting. For those with Diamond Elite status, the added perks are fantastic. Breakfast is included, and the mini fridge is restocked daily with thoughtful items: one beer, four bottles of water, a small bottle of wine, and snacks. Another great convenience is that the staff will hold your luggage for a few days if you’re traveling elsewhere, which made our trip much easier. Just outside the property, to the right, there’s a restaurant offering delicious food and wine at very reasonable prices. The hotel bar is also a great spot, with excellent service, and the on-site restaurants are equally enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful stay with standout service and thoughtful amenities.
- FFM9 (8/5): Very good venue, but poor cleanliness - Friendly reception team, the hotel is 25mns drive from the airport, 15mns from the highway entrance and 10mns by cab/ car from Vatican. There is a large free parking, taxis on site and the hotel can organise shuttles to different places. The rooms are nicely remade, upgraded to a superior with pool view, it has a mespresso machine in the room with original capsules, excellent spa, the closet is large and offer plenty space, do wad the room with a sofa that can turn into kids bed, a wall long desk and a nice balcony overseeing the pool The lobby makes a very good impression upon arrival, so is the fantastic location, quiet, lush. However upon entry I immediately saw crumbles everywhere, showing clear lack of cleaning and attention, the hotel was fully booked so they couldn't change me room, but it was cleaned within 20mns. Note to mgmt, at this price point, your rooms need to spanking clean. This isn't acceptable. In my room #517 the AC control was disfunctionnal and the electrical switchboard went off after I turned on and off some lights, the same happened to me in the same room 1 year back. The hotel is really big and has several 100s rooms, but the lifts are working very well. The Breakfast was disappointing for Italy in term of food choice, few baked goods of so so quality, fruits choice weak as well, juices weren't freshly pressed and only 2 coffee machines leading to super long queues at 07h30, too little for auch a huge hotel. 2 machines more will make a difference. The breakfast room Welcome service was weak and not asking where we would like to be seated, and there was very limited table service too, but friendly when appearing. The spa is fantastic, huge, heated pool at 32c, many spa stations, the gym is small but lite and well equipped, perhaps small for such a hotel. I paid 232 euros a night, which is both high, but in Rome, for such standard, it is the regular level. It is close enough to the center, either by car or metro. By taxi it cost about 10 euros and take 15mns to go to the Tiber banks

- CRTrask (10/5): Clean and convenient - We stayed here for a week on a family vacation and had two adjoining rooms. We used the public bus service to travel daily into the city-center for sightseeing. It was very easy and convenient once we learned the route, and they sold tickets in the gift shop in the hotel. There were taxis parked adjacent to the hotel but we never felt the need to use them. We really appreciated the green space and quiet, secluded feel despite being in a city. It was a nice, relaxed atmosphere and gave us the space we needed after being around so many people each day. We found several great local restaurants within walking distance or a quick bus ride. We felt safe out at night exploring. There were all sorts of options for breakfast and sustained us almost to dinnertime each day. It was nice to have a good meal before we headed out exploring each day. The rooms were not the most sound proof but fortunately our neighbors were quiet at night so it wasn't really an issue. Overall we really enjoyed the Crowne Plaza. It isn't the most fancy place but it was clean, felt safe and the staff were very helpful.

No additional questions needed. Food was great and Staff in the restaurant very Kind. Piano is the nice touch ☺️ The only think i have on my mind is the SPA service. When we wanted to have a relaxing bath after a looong day od walking, an hour before closing they were suprised and disapointed(?). They also starting cleaning 40 minutes before closing so you can feel a bit uncomfortable. Overal 9/10! 🎉

Excellent, outstanding, wonderful everything about it. The hotel itself, interiors, facilities and environs. The restaurant, bar, food and drinks but most remarkable were the staff. They were so friendly, warm, welcoming , professional and super efficient. We were treated like royalty actually and they helped us with every aspect of our trip and navigating a new city. We hope to return to Rome again very soon and will always if possible want to stay at this hotel. Proximity to city centre and transport options superb . Our stay here has been very comfortable and relaxing and just added to the magical nature of our time in Rome. Thank you to the wonderful staff at crowne plaza.

- carsha2024 (8/5): We would come back here again - We really enjoyed staying here. The experience was made special by the wonderful staff who were friendly, helpful and efficient. They knew what they were doing and came across as professional and competent. Everywhere was kept very clean. Our room was a bit ‘tired’ but we slept well and felt rested. The pool was nice too!
- davy2026 (6/5): Spacious hotel room for the area! - We really loved the deck and the spacious rooms. No AC so I can't imagine staying here in the summer. The breakfast was amazing!! But The room fridge broke twice but the maintenance was very attentive and responsive. Housekeeping didn't come around the entire time we were there. We stayed in Florence and Venice and they were way more clean and came around without us asking with better city locations. This location is not central and difficult to get anywhere unless you taxi or uber.
- lainem1 (6/5): Beautiful Hotel, but lacking in a few ways! - Firstly, Check-In - Karan was so kind and an asset to your team. The Room - large, clean with a good sized bathroom & balcony. The rainfall shower head is very close to the wall, therefore despite the large space, you felt very closed in. All amenities as expected, water, tea & coffee, hairdryer, toiletries, iron & ironing board, bathrobes & slippers, patio furniture on the balcony and a lovely view over the pool. Housekeeping - we don't always take housekeeping every day as it's not needed, however we took housekeeping on days 3 & 5 and although the bed was made and the room topped up/tidied, the sheets weren't changed once during our stay - there was a small mark on the sheet, which remained there throughout our stay, the toilet paper was never topped up either. On day 5, housekeeping removed our 2nd key from the room, whilst we were at the spa, so they had to take the other key back also to provide us with new key cards. The Spa - we attempted to get to level -1, the main lift went to Ground/0, a member of staff directed us up some stairs along a corridor and then down a different lift. On arrival at the spa, we were ushered back out and told to go change into our swim wear and return wearing only that and the bathrobes, the lady provided us with flip flops. We were told to take the same 'back of house' lift to our floor, which made the whole process easier and would have been helpful to know initially. Swimming caps are provided, the gym is small but functional, the pool is a good size, the sauna, steam room and 'hydro pool' were all excellent, the cold plunge could have been colder, but such a minor thing. Herbal teas, fruit and water are all provided. There are plenty of loungers around the pool. Breakfast - good selection of continental and hot cooked breakfast, the pancakes were a nice addition. Our only issue here was on the first day, we were not offered any hot drinks to the table - but hadn't realised this was a thing so were oblivious so to speak, the second morning, the gentleman practically demanded "do you want a Cappuccino" I said no and that was the end of it, but we noticed that day lots of tables had tea pots and hot drinks seemed to be being provided, where we continued to use the machine, on the third day a lovely waiter offered, "would you like a pot of tea or a Cappuccino" which we accepted - the issue here was only an inconsistency with the service, it was otherwise lovely. Lastly, the Bed - sadly the bed was absolutely brick hard, I barely slept across the six nights we stayed.
