• 74brentf (6/5): Great Location / Bad Connectivity - We recently stayed at 1 Hotel Mayfair and overall had a great experience. The location is fantastic, the rooms are beautifully designed, and the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the hotel are excellent. The property truly delivers on luxury, comfort, and style. However, if you are traveling for business or need reliable connectivity, there is one major issue worth noting: the WiFi. Throughout our stay, the internet connection consistently dropped every 1–2 minutes, often disconnecting for 10–15 seconds at a time. While that may sound minor, it made video calls, meetings, and any kind of remote work extremely difficult and frustrating. Unfortunately, cell phone reception in our room was also very poor, so tethering to mobile data was not a viable backup option. We ultimately had to leave the hotel in the evening and work from a nearby WeWork in order to take important business calls reliably. To the hotel’s credit, management was responsive and sent a very helpful IT specialist who genuinely tried to resolve the issue. Sadly, the problem persisted. It appears there may be a deeper issue with the network infrastructure - possibly related to firewall QoS/routing policies or their upstream internet provider. If you are visiting for leisure and don’t need dependable internet connectivity, this hotel is close to perfect and we would highly recommend it. But if you are traveling for work and require stable WiFi for calls and productivity, you may want to consider staying elsewhere until the connectivity issues are resolved. We experienced the same issue on 2 MacBooks, 2 iPhones, and 2 different iPads, so it wasn't a specific device issue, and it was consistent across all 6 devices. Hoping next trip this issue is sorted out, because the hotel is actually really nice.
• 379terrief (10/5): The MOST FABULOUS HOTEL - We cannot give enough amazing accolades regarding the hotel. From the moment we arrived it felt quite luxurious and yet filled with natural elements of wood, moss, and beautiful plants. The room was modern and relaxing with wonderful linens, bath products, robes and slippers. The in room coffee and water was absolutely wonderful, as was the mini bar. There is also a yoga mat and foam roller. We had the most fabulous massage while we were there. The therapists were both knowledgeable and very professional. It was probably one of the best we have had. And we have had many! The area is absolutely gorgeous with easy access to anywhere one might want to visit. The underground is close by (3 min walk), and the fabulous choice of restaurants and bars is also worth the location. However, what truly sets this hotel apart from the others is their staff. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. Andreea is at the front desk and was amazingly friendly and informative. She checked us in and walked us to our room. She is very kind, and lovely. Her thoughtfulness and enthusiasm is very wonderful. Renato is the head of concierge, and I would dare say he takes his position quite seriously and insures that your stay is exactly as you would expect and want it to be. I had an unfortunate illness while there and the security men helped my husband and myself immensely. Seb and Femi came to our room and assisted us to get to the hospital. While it was an unpleasant experience to feel ill while there in London, I was amazed at their compassion and care for me. The hotel staff actually called that evening to see how I was doing. As there are many choices for hotels in London, I would say without hesitation, that this one should be your first choice. Not only for the location, the rooms, the service; but for their fabulous and caring staff members! Thank you!

The door staff and restaurant staff were excellent. The room is a little cramped and had a close view of the interior of an office building. The price does not seem reasonable for the amenities. Temperature controls and showers were good with easy controls.

I've stayed at several 1 Hotel locations (Kauai, West Hollywood, and Brooklyn). Mayfair topped them all with my actual experience beyond the amenities. From the bell men, the concierge, housekeeping, and in-room dining, every staff member really made an effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay. My room was decorated for my birthday and through our 6 night stay we had treats delivered both in the room and when I dined at Dovetail. In-room dining also treated my daughter to a surprise of Paddingon Bear and Marmalade sandwiches. I stay at these hotels for the healthier food, great gyms, and concept. The 1 hotel Mayfair location and service is unbeatable. I would definitely stay again on my next visit to London.

Angel at check-in and throughout the stay was a star! Lamar at the door was so incredibly helpful and friendly! The night manager (I can’t recall her name) was very helpful and professional. The facility was gorgeous and consistent with other 1 Hotels. The room was a great size and very comfortable. I travel extensively for work and personal and this was one of the best experiences I have had at a metropolitan hotel. The location is fabulous and the house car was an excellent perk! Look forward to my next stay!

The room, a one bedroom with a terrace which we had upgraded to, was large and comfortable (note: bonus points for the filtered water bottle filler). Housekeeping was excellent. Reception was friendly and down to earth - very different than the vibe of the hotel. The location is great. It's close to Piccadillly and Soho, as well as Green Park and the shopping area on Bond Street/New Bond Street. Our rate included a $100 food/amenity credit, which we used at the restaurant. The food was excellent. The hotel is not cheap, but it's worth it.

The rooms with balcony/terras are worth the extra money. Breakfast menu works a bit clumsy with ordering in many big plates and with the size of the croissants and pain chocolats these are meals by itself…not realy in line with the sustainability to my opinion.

From the moment we arrived, we were beautifully welcomed by two impeccably dressed doormen, which instantly set a wonderful first impression. At the front desk, we were greeted by Andreea, who was incredibly warm, welcoming, and hospitable. We were kindly upgraded to a Junior Skyline Suite, which was absolutely out of this world and such a special surprise. Every aspect of our stay was faultless, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Not to mention Stephanie the hotel manager she was amazing! We would highly recommend 1 Hotel Mayfair and cannot wait to return.

Me and my partner were extremely pleased by the superb staff of Dovetale definetely worth mentioning Vladimir with his great suggestions at the Bar and Lilly who guided us through the menu and crafted a personalised menu from the restaurant menu itself for my partner who is very selective. Matt from the resturant was superb and really made up for the rude member of staff in the bar. We walked into the bar as hotel guests and sat down. We were shouted at and asked to move by the bar manager. There were no reserved signs anywhere. Ive never been treated like that..i made a complaint and the hotel coudlnt of done enough for us..they were incredible actually.

Very comfortable and every detail is considered. - The location of this hotel is exceptional - from Heathrow you just take the London Underground Piccadilly line to Greenpark and the hotel is a 2 minute walk from there. The room is very comfortable - great mattress and pillows. The hotel lobby coffee shop was exceptionally busy so i found it really hard to find a seat to have a morning coffee.
