lofty (10/5): Perfect private rooms at hostel prices - Spacious, clean room with a private bathroom and desk for the price you normally pay for a tiny room with shared bathroom. The bed was comfortable, there was a shared kitchen that was well equipped and perfectly clean and a few shops and pubs around to get supplies. I didn't mind because I know and love the area, but it is a ways out of the centre and not too close to any tube station.

María (8/5): Very good - Very nice area in London at an affordable price. Spacious room with a big desk to work and study and lots of storage space. Very close to the Emirates Stadium and amazing parks, coffee shops and local businesses around. I didn't find it easy to open the door to access the building. No toiletries available but there is a really nice shop just opposite this accommodation.

Samson (8/5): Back to next time - My first day experience like very clean location is central bus or train. Staffs great secured and safe place. You don't have room tv but this is no worries.

However it was not a problem at all. More of a surprise

Bus 141 for example connects directly from this place to London Bridge. There are no towels but can they be rented from the reception. You get to know this before hand though.

The booking was for one room, two guests….however upon returning to the property we were challenged and nearly didn’t get back into the room. Lucy (8/5): Really good value for money. - I liked how there was utensils in the kitchen, as well as a large fridge, cooker and microwave. The studio was really big. The bedding was clean. I couldn't work the shower, it only went to boiling hot or freezing cold. I was aware before hand that we needed to bring towels, but it could have been helpful to have a bath mat in the bathroom supplied.

Miia (5/5): For a budget traveller who doesn't want to stay in dormitories, this is a good, basic option. - The price is great for London! And with these prices you can't expect anything fancy. Considering that, I was definitely happy with Newington Court. It was OK to check in in the middle of the night. The WiFi worked fine for me (I didn't stream any films or such, just basic browsing). The room was a bit smelly and a bit stuffy - maybe due to the carpet? As I visited in the summer, I was able to keep the window open and wasn't very bothered by this. No tv, no towels (they mention this on the website but I guess a lot of people don't read the info very carefully), no soap in the room. So bring your own towel and soap!
