- Nigel (3/5): If all the facilities had been in a working condition then the stay would have be reasonable for the money - The location was good with regards to central Putney and access to the Thames The room entrance light didn’t work so we couldn’t see into the wardrobe, the curtains were torn and poorly fitting, the bathroom sink ply didn’t work so had to run water whilst shaving, the bathroom door didn’t slide properly (extremely stiff), the area behind the bathroom sliding door was dirty with rotten wood, the shower hose was rusty and stained, the air conditioning didn’t work for 3 nights out of our 4 night stay (F5 fault), i was unable to contact any staff member during our stay either by phone or in the main reception as the entrance desk was always unstaffed when we came and left the hotel. The decor was also drab.

- Portia (10/5): We've already booked again! - This hotel is a gem and we have already booked again! The room faced the front busy road but was so quiet. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The shower was great; only soap is provided not shampoo. And the price is amazing! The hotel is very close to Putney main line station and a short walk to East Putney tube.

- Matranga (7/5): comfortable room and excellent location. - Breakfast was promised at time of booking, and breakfast was listed on the instruction sheet given to us at check in. However, there was no breakfast of any kind and the restaurant was closed. No breakfast and surly front desk staff. Claimed I did not have a reservation. Good thing I had printed my confirmation before coming to London.

- Mark (9/5): Excellent stay in a great location - Pleasantly surprised by our first stay here. Very good sized room and the bed was very comfy. Good sized Shower and very clean. Very quiet even with the main road just outside. The staff were very friendly esp Nainesh. Will be returning and recommend the area. Bathroom door was a bit odd but very easy for them to put that right. Room 101.

Easy check-in/check-out, spacious rooms with large w - Perfect location super convenient, easy check in and check out had a lift and rooms were spacious with large windows and loads of natural light The room was absolutely roasting with no working Aircon there was a fan in the room but it just blew out the air that was already in the room so didn’t particularly help to cool it down, unable to open windows to let the air circulate the room was clean but could have definitely been cleaner as there were stains on the bed frame which could babe easily been wiped , they gave us 1 half of a used toilet roll for a 2 nights 2 person stay and when we said we had then ran out they said none had been delivered and handed us a box of tissues but they worked fine we aren’t fussy people so it didn’t dampen our stay we found it hilarious

- Lynn (7/5): Good location comfy bed - Location was ideal for us. The bed was large and comfortable. Staff were pleasant. There was WiFi The air conditioning did not work and the room was hot. There was no handle on the bathroom door and it was tricky to open and close. The grouting in the shower was dirty and carpets could have been cleaner. But it's cheap for London prices so manage your expectations.

- Hill (4/5): - The room was tidy and clean. A good price for London. Encountered a rude staff member. We in fairness booked late, as we had lost our keys. Booked on booking and arrived to the venue. No one on reception. Called the number several times and was sat in reception for a long time (at least 20 minutes) only to be greeted by an extremely rude member of staff who said she can cancel our bookings and find accommodation elsewhere when we said we had been waiting a long time for someone to come.

Great location with nearby car parking and transport links. - The hotel is in a great location with a nearby railway station, plenty of bus stops and for us, on street parking very close. We were a group of four and the beds / bed settee was more than adequate for us all. We had a really pleasant check in with nice staff and had good information prior to arrival. We would definitely use it again as it is a great springboard for central London. Everything was fine.

- John (4/5): Great location poor hotel - When we first arrived we noticed the sheets where dirty,we was moved to room 307 and the shower is filthy the drain is disgustingly dirty and the bathroom door didn’t shut.The lift floor is very dirty.There is no security on the front door anyone can walk in off the street.We ask for extra pillows as the ones provided are poor,however they have no spare.There are very few instructions regarding fire escapes.The windows in the room would not stay open.The first room had a balcony it was locked as deemed unsafe so no windows to open in the room Cleanliness of the room,the windows didn’t stay open.Didn’t feel safe as anyone could enter the building.The shower drain was filthy

- Thecla (2/5): Locatie was voor ons perfect, personeel erg behulpzaam, maar hotel verouderd en er werkt veel niet naar behoren - De locatie De schuifdeur naar de badkamer sloot niet en bij het douchen liep het water zo de kamer in! Na dit gemeld te hebben kregen we een andere kamer, deze leek op het oog beter tot we de volgende ochtend onder de douche stonden en het water maar koud bleef. Dit werd in de loop van de dag opgelost, maar beter was geweest dat ze gecontroleerd hadden of in deze kamer alles wel na behoren werkte!

- Victoria (1/5): Terrible. Ruin our my partner’s birthday - The location and staff. However, the management are nothing but irresponsible. The pictures on Booking.com need updating. The hotel is rundown. Loose banisters. Broken broken bathroom cabinet. Broken bathroom door. TV not working. Dirty carpets. Ripped bedframe and mattress. We paid for breakfast they no longer do it. Management refuse adequate refund. Even though I complained the minute I got to the hotel, they are still trading under the Best Western name as well.

Have stayed here numerous times and want to like it more and would do if they got the basics right : comfortable pillows, a room temperature that can be controlled, properly filled hand and body wash, bedside lights that worked, get rid of a ridiculous sensor by the entrance door that wakes you up in the middle of the night (the bathroom mirror gives a sufficient light).

De badkamer was een beetje donker, met betere verlichting is het aangenamer denk ik. Het uitzicht is mooi, maar het balkon is niet om op te zitten.

- Stephanie (4/5): - Good location and easy to find parking. Unsure how this hotel has such a high rating. There was no one at reception for check in, we had to wait about 15 minutes before staff showed up, from outside the building. The room had no curtains, only net curtains. We were kindly moved to a different room with curtains, however they are not long enough and don't cover the whole window area. There was so much dust around the edges of the carpet, it looked like the beds hadn't been moved either to vacuum dust around the edges. The amenities in the shower were very basic and the shower tray filled with water very quickly, maybe the drain needs clearing. The pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, felt like the basic type you would expect to find in a hostel. There was also an ominous greasy handprint on one of the walls. It's very loud in the room, you can hear people in the nextdoor room and clanging about from other guests all through the night. Disappointing and absolutely not worth the cost.

Loved having an iron in the room We asked the lady on reception for more pillows as the pillows were so flat and no support. She said yes and to collect when we came back.
