The best part of the hotel was definitely the very friendly and helpful staff — everyone was kind and always trying to assist us. The rooms were spacious, which we appreciated, but they are clearly a bit outdated. Unfortunately, our room had a very humid and musty smell. Interestingly, the room of our parents-in-law did not have this issue, so it may depend on the specific room. Breakfast was okay, but it is heavily focused on Indian guests and cuisine. If you expect a typical continental breakfast, you might be disappointed. However, with a bit of searching, you can still find enough options to start the day well.

- Yasir (1/5): - The staff at the front desk especially a fat guy with glasses was very un profesional very disrespectful to the customers, i love the brand Holiday inn and have used all around the world but this was the first time had a bad experience with the staff at the front desk and that particular person at the front desk, i don't know his name he was a big fat guy with glasses very bag maners towards the customers and 2 ladies in the afternoon because of that fat person bad influence, such employees should not represent Holiday inn as a great brand period!
- Joshi (6/5): Booking for Holidays Inn through Booking.com is a Pain though Hotel was good and well maintained - I made booking using Booking.com and paid whole amount using booking.com. My money was credited to booking.com including markup charges and taxes. But when I reached hotel, they said they haven't received any money and did not accept booking.com statement. Also booking.com said they haven't taken money and did not confirm payment. Ultimately, I had to pay from my other cards with higher rates. On next day, I could see booking.com had received money and then they credited it back to me for which I had to pay additional markup charges plus taxes. :( They did not even ask which repayment method to be used. This booking.com booking made me pay and waste my money for no reason. I had to pay 10,000 Rupees additional from my pocket without getting any benefit of making advance payment. The stress, embracement, fear was additional bonus with it. No body helps you! Booking.com as well as Hotel. Customers like Us need to pay 10K rupees from pocket for no reason.

- Nina (10/5): - Amazingly friendly staff. The day we arrived very late, the reception staff was extremely helpful. Also, when we got to the room we realized that we only had towels for two people. However, without us having to ask they brought the missing things for the four of us (we were staying there with our kids). They anticipated our needs before we even knew it. We would especially like to highlight the cleaning personnell: one day we forgot to take out the "d9 not disturb" sign, came back in the afternoon and only then put out the sign "please clean". This was done within 30 minutes.

They provided complimentary water. The beds are too small for 2 adults. My husband and I had to sleep separately and share a bed with our young children just so we could fit 4 in the room i.e I shared a bed with my young child and my husband shared the other bed with other young child. They also should not allow young children in the buffet unattended. I saw many children touch and play with the food, which is extremely unhygienic.

Pool was a well needed addition after a day out sightseeing in the heat. Our first room had a really strong damp smell and they moved us immediately. Complimentary bottled water. Our room was a decent size for two adults and two kids.

They sent an email about building works after i had made the booking but they didn't make it clear how invasive the noise and drilling would be from 9am. They honestly need to reduce prices to allow for the intolerable noise. Paying over $300 a night for drilling and construction noise all day long is disgraceful. They need to close the rooms close by until the works are complete. Check out was supposed to be at 12 but the housekeeper was beyond impatient and tried to come in 3 times while we were packing and was annoyed we were still there. There were lots of little bugs in the room. I've no idea if this is normal of not for singapore. The breakfast was OK but it was very busy and like they don't have enough tables. The other tourists were rude and pushy especially to the staff. I wouldn't stay here again.

Staff helpful and friend, did checked in early and supported us when checking out. Location is nest Istana, Dhobi Goat MRT station, at the junction of Orchard Road, and stone throw away from Little India, So in simple word, superb location. Lastly i want to say, location also gave us daily experience of Singapore kampong, foodcourts, chinese shops, massage parlors :) Nothing as such, we were informed about the maintenance work. IT didnt bother us because it was between 10-6, during that time we were mostly out. Limited option at breakfast for veg people, but manageable.

- Ashleigh (2/5): Not what you expect! - The breakfast and buffet dinner offerings were lovely! Our stay at Holiday Inn Orchard Road Singapore was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. From the moment we entered the room, there was a strong unpleasant smell. The TV was not working, and despite booking and confirming a room for four people at check-in, the room was only set up for two. This made for a frustrating start, especially after being reassured everything was in order. The room itself looked nothing like the photos advertised online — it was significantly smaller and did not match the standard we expected based on the website. The amenities were also misleading. The website lists both a whirlpool and a sauna; however, there is no whirlpool on the premises, and the sauna was not operational during our stay. The pool area was underwhelming and did not feel well maintained. There are QR codes around the pool area to order food and drinks, but they are essentially useless. Each link leads to dead ends with no actual menus or ordering options available. To make matters worse, a hold was placed on our credit card at the start of our stay, which we were told would be used to settle the bill. Instead, we were charged the full amount separately, leaving us temporarily out of pocket while waiting over a week for the original hold to be released. This could have been a serious issue if that card had been our only access to funds. Overall, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. Holiday Inn needs to significantly improve both its service and transparency.

The experience was made even better by the excellent service from Saravanan and Barbeer – both were attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcomed throughout the meal. We especially loved the Achari Paneer Tikka, which had a very unique and special flavour, something different from the usual paneer dishes. The garlic naan was also very tasty – soft, fragrant, and perfectly paired with the dishes. Overall, great food, great service, and a very enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely come back again!

- panirajg (10/5): Tandoor restaurant review in HolidayInn orchard road Singapore - We visited the Tandoor restaurant around 2pm, it was their closing time. They obliged with the final order. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. Truly appreciate Balbeer and Saravanan's hospitality!
- K. (5/5): 部屋ににおいがあり、残念でした。 - サマセット駅から徒歩約5分と近く、オーチャード・ロードにもほど近いため、移動にとても便利な立地です。 ホテルの裏口側にはフェンスが並んでおり、裏口から外に出る際にはかなり遠回りする必要があります。動線の設計にはやや改善の余地があると感じました。 部屋には塗料のような匂いがあり、初日の夜は特に強く感じました。加えて、ベッドヘッド部分にも長年蓄積されたような匂いがあり、寝つきが悪かったです。

- Tharaka Chathuranga (9/5): Overall good. - Located in an ideal location. 2 min walk for the MRT, lots of food stalls, super markets, 7-Eleven shops nearby. Gym and rooftop swimming pool facility is best. Staff provide us both early check-in and late check-out, which was super convenient for us to align out flight timing. There was a upgrade in progress. Time to time there were some noises, but not much disturbing. Also, little outdated looking rooms, probably that's why the upgrade is in progress.

- JacintaW-84 (8/5): Overall Good Stay - Stayed for 4 nights in a suite with our two daughters (6 and 1). The suite was on the smaller side so we shared a bed with our eldest rather than getting an extra bed in. Check in was a bit chaotic especially as my husband is Diamond. The room was very clean and good amenities. Breakfast was good and the staff in the restaurant were fantastic. Pool area also great and clean. Location we found easy to walk to MRT or get a Grab. We had lounge access but the breakfast was lacking in there and we couldn’t take our kids in the evening.
