- James (7/5): Nice hotel, I would stay there again. - Nice large clean room and hotel is located on a quiet street so no traffic noise. Good Location. Bathroom was a little bit tired, breakfast options were a bit limited and not much fresh fruit. Also a lot of the cooked food was either tepid rather than hot and had clearly been sitting for quite a long time.

- Jeremy (8/5): It's a chain hotel that does what it says on the tin. - It's a chain hotel that does what it says on the tin. Breakfast was pretty average and it wasn't easy to get coffee refills.
- Jetsetter614 (6/5): Just Average - Upon our arrival,Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Aufa, who was very pleasant and welcoming. I was unsure why my passport was required, as I frequently travel to London and have never been asked to present it before; fortunately, I had it with me. As a Marriott Gold member, we were looking forward to an upgrade but were disappointed to find that there were no suite options available, and the bathrooms were extremely small, with no bathtubs. Since our stay was only for one night, we decided to make do with what we had. There were no robes or slippers provided, so be sure to bring socks for walking around comfortably. The breakfast buffet was decent, though nothing extraordinary. Upon checking out, there was a woman at the front desk named Anastasia, who was far from pleasant and didn't even bother to smile at the guests. As someone representing the front desk, she would have been better suited for a position that didn't require interaction with others. However, we were lucky enough to see Aufa again, and the same warmth with which we were welcomed was extended to us as we were thanked for our stay and invited to come back.
- HAMAD (10/5): Excellent - Staff is very good . All the staff good Everything good

- shannonfA2670EK (2/5): Inaccessible and unsafe - A humiliating, degrading, unsafe service. I booked a wheelchair accessible room for myself and my teenage daughter - a wheelchair user and severely disabled - and confirmed its availability at the time of booking and the day of arrival, only to find a temporary inaccessible lobby when we arrived. And no wheelchair accessible rooms available. Their solution was for us to exit and enter the premises via the basement, storage area and walking up/down the car park ramp which was being used by other guests.

- stephenwT3958QP (2/5): Run down hotel - avoid until it’s refurbished - It’s not good. Lobby is being renovated, not a huge issue. I was told at check-in it would noisy 8-5pm. I was out early so no issue. But the room was poor. Very shabby, needs renovation urgently. Headboard vinyl was cracked and peeling, very unpleasant. Bathroom was just old and shabby. Furniture was tired and worn. There was loud thumping sound from the lifts or water pipes, I couldn’t decide which. Apparently some higher floors have been refurbished, 3rd floor is awful. And all for £275 a night! Breakfast was ok and staff were nice.
- Damilola (10/5): - I don’t even know where to begin—my stay at this hotel in London was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for in a way that’s so rare to find. It wasn’t just about comfort or luxury (which they absolutely delivered on), it was the warmth, the attention to detail, and the consistency in service that truly stood out to me.
Every single interaction I had with the staff left a lasting impression. They were kind, attentive, and always ready to help with the biggest smile. It felt so personal, like they truly cared about making my stay unforgettable—and they succeeded.
A very special thank you to Suchit, who went above and beyond in every possible way. Your kindness, professionalism, and effort did not go unnoticed, and it genuinely made such a difference in my experience. You set the tone for what hospitality should feel like.
To the entire team—thank you for creating such a beautiful and memorable experience for me. I left feeling so happy, so well taken care of, and already looking forward to my return.
I honestly cannot wait to be back. This place will always hold a special spot for me. Not a single thing was bad.

- Gamal (1/5): - Misleading Commitment and Unjustified Rejection of Early Checkout Refund I had to check out one day earlier due to a family emergency. On the night before our actual checkout, we informed the hotel of the situation. The front desk advised us to contact Booking.com directly, as they were the source of the reservation.
We did so, and Booking.com emailed us confirming that they had attempted to contact the hotel but received no response. We shared this email with the receptionist at checkout. The hotel denied receiving any communication from Booking.com and stated that they would be “happy to process the refund as soon as they receive the notification from Booking.com,” asking us to follow up again—which we did the next day after returning home.
Surprisingly, the hotel then rejected the request.
If the hotel is not willing to refund:
A) Why claim they had not received any communication from Booking.com?
B) Why promise a refund at checkout, only to reject the request afterward?

- jayc2007 (10/5): not at the marble arch but its ok - there is a marriott hotel right across the marble arch in london. this isn't it. that shouldn't steer you away from this fine property. the room was perfectly clean and generously sized. i have stayed at much smaller rooms in central london. this was very comfortable. it's a bit old and some of the toilet fixtures were misaligned but not enough to make me complain.
one thing that makes a hotel worth returning to is the staff. the people here are wonderful. very corteous, friendly, and engaging.
the breakfast buffet wasn't the most diverse. there was no omelet bar. the choices were the same every morning. everything was of good quality and well prepared. the staff were very helpful. i must make special mention of the bread. it was excellent. not something i find in a lot of buffets.
so would i return? i am already figuring out when i book this hotel again.
- BSD8701 (4/5): Noisy room, useless reception and TV which didn't work - We had booked the executive junior room which is on the top floor, we were told that the room was next to the lift and does experience some noise, not being ideal we simply asked if we could have some ear plugs, which we were provided and already in the room. We checked in and could find them, we contacted reception and they said they would bring them up, as we were going out for a meal. When we returned nonear plugs were waiting, we contacted reception and they brought up some cotton ear sticks which ae used for cleaning your ears. The TV didn't work, reception told us nothing could be done as the person who deals with this had finished work. The only reason I didn't give a 1 was the room was nice and clean, bathroom small but does come with a good size shower. Also if you do plan to drive in do not park in their car park, unless you have a micro car, I've never seen such a small narrow car park entrance in my life……..i had a BMW 3 series and it just squeezed in, anything bigger will get stuck I feel.

- H (7/5): - The hotel was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly, and the location was excellent. Because of maintenance and renovation work, there was a lot of noise one of the days. We stayed at the hotel to relax before going to a musical, but we were disturbed by a very loud and piercing sound that sounded like drilling or sawing.

- Anwaar (7/5): An experience that I would never repeat!!! - Upon arrival, as most of hotels would do, an extra amount would be blocked from the credit card as an insurance policy ( I have already paid the total amount of my stay at the time of booking ), that would be released by check out!!
Well, that wasn’t the case at this hotel, the amount was deducted from my credit card & when I questioned it, they promised it would be returned later, yes it was returned .. but due to currency exchange it was less than what was originally charged!!!
They knew that, yet they played it well 🤦🏻♀️
One more thing, they really should pay more attention to the cleanliness of the room!!!

- Maria (7/5): Good place to stay for exploring central London. - Great location in central London. OK sized family room. Welcoming staff. The noisiest AC we've ever experienced. A bit too small bathroom for a family room.
- Fiona (7/5): enjoyed - staff helpful. car park The bar attached
- Ricardo (2/5): Very poor experience. - Only positive was a decent breakfast.
The rooms are old, badly kept, nothing like the pictures. It needs an urgent renovation. It not lives up to the Marriott standards. Quite shameful actually. The maintenance is poor, room is dirty, furniture is scratched and aged, phone doesn’t work (or nobody wanted to pick up). It took me 30 min to get an extra towel. Really considered changing hotels but London was crowded over the weekend.
Does not live to Marriott standards. I only booked because of Marriott’s reputation and the pictures in the website. Very disappointing.
- Syed Nadeem Ali (7/5): Overall very good stay. Good service and good amenities in the room. - Responsiveness and helpfulness of staff. Specially Mr. Rohan There are no trash cans outside of the doors of the hotel, not even anywhere in the lobby. This is common for all hotels. It was surprising though for Marriott.

- Ümit Fahri (7/5): -
- Alex (7/5): Great short stay - Staff, room & comfort was really good
Breakfast was great buffet choice
Reception staff very helpful No hot water each night for bath or shower
Mornings were fine
- Jawaher_alshi (2/5): Terrible heat of air condition - The location of the hotel is the only good thing.
The Room situation is terrible, i stayed for 10 days and since day 1 am complaining about the heat of Air conditioner, no response! No solution.
I think there is a major issue with the heat air conditioner !
I think staff needs more training on “how to solve any issue “
Overall, i will not stay again in such horrible hotel in Winter.

- Reuben (8/5): Nice not bad at all wouldn’t complain but could be better for that kind of price. - Nice and clean in good location if you want to be close to the centre. Restaurant food was nice also. Parking was a nightmare so I’d advise not to drive if possible and the heating/air conditioning unit is loud so needs updating.

- Ashwani (1/5): Will NEVER go back EVER again - Location Just to recap, here is the full story:
I checked into the hotel and was assigned room 420 - a twin bed though I booked a king - the room had intense body odour and I came back to the front desk.
I was then assigned room 120 - which is a meeting room floor and there were 6 meetings scheduled (placards outside each room and two opposite room 120).
I came back down to front desk and told them other than my room and the one next to it all rooms in that wing were meeting rooms which is unacceptable. The manager then interfered and assigned me a room on 8th floor (806) again a twin bed and again smelling of body odour.
The hotel has no other or better rooms. I have had to reluctantly leave the property and I was on the street looking for an alternate. (Eventually stayed at JW Marriott)
I requested a full refund. Mr. Abdul claims he cannot make the refund or cancel the booking and it can only be done by you. As you can see I have a long and rich history with booking.com and have not complained about another property however this one needs your attention.
Incidentally, I am a silver elite member of Bonvoy - a Mariott loyalty program and I know what mariott standards should be. Booking.com should review this particular hotel and decide if it is worth listing. Please help me with the refund - I have but been in the property 20 minutes and that it.
In addition, at the time of check in, the hotel took a GBP 150/- “hold” on my card for incidentals “as per hotel policy”, I had no choice but but to agree only later to find out that this was not a hold but the money has been charged to my credit card. I have sent a message to the property thru Booking.com to return my money but (unsurprisingly) there has been no Reply and the hotel completely mislead me.

- Hamad (1/5): The hotel is nice and the receptionist is bad. I am confused. - The room is large compared to hotels in London. The employee was not honest with me and her treatment was bad as she told me that the insurance was 50 pounds sterling and that 400 pounds sterling were deducted from me and she said that this happened by mistake and that it would be returned to you within minutes, but two days have passed and the amount has not been refunded. This is very bad.
