What truly made the experience exceptional was the hospitality. The owner was present, attentive, and genuinely caring from the moment we arrived until the end of our stay. Every question was answered with kindness and professionalism, making us feel welcomed and at ease throughout. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore Florence while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing environment. I highly recommend Guest House Domo Florenzia to anyone visiting Florence. We would absolutely stay here again! There is nothing wrong that I could say about this place

• Vladimir (8/5): Great option if you need something a bit farther away from the center and a bit quieter - Great location, close to the train station and just 15 min away (walk) from historical center. We stayed here for 1 night before flying back, and it was overall great. The room is spacious and clean, and the host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Room was big ( 4 single beds) with a good shower / toilet room also. A microwave and a fridge were also in the room which were nice extras. It was a warm day so the air con unit was lovely as well ! • Michael (9/5): Klassisch-modern, ein schönes Ambiente in recht zentraler Lage. - Alles lief sehr gut. Die Kommunikation lief über Whatsapp (Wohnungscode), sehr schnelle Antworten. Ich hatte das Zimmer zur Straße, es war sehr groß mit schöner klassischer Architektur. Also etwas für Ästheten bzw. Romantiker. Wasserkocher, Teebeutel, kostenlose Wasserflasche. Sehr modernes Bad, aber ebenfalls klassisch gestaltet. Unter dem Zimmer war eine Kneipe (Birreria), die durchaus manchmal am Abend zu hören war, für mich aber kein Problem. Vielleicht im Sommer, wenn es heiß ist und ihr die Fenster offen lasst, dann könnte es natürlich für Leute mit Schlafproblemen schwieriger sein. Ich würde auch eine 10 geben, aber dann erwartet ihr vielleicht zu viel. Das sonstige Umfeld ist recht ruhig, es laufen einem also nicht ständig Touristengruppen über die Füße wie im Zentrum. Man kommt aber in gerader Richtung in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu den Uffizi. Frühstücken kann man dann zB auf dem Weg im Zentrum beim 25horas Restaurant und Hotel, da gibt es ein günstiges Café. Oder einfach im Zimmer frühstücken, denn links vom Eingang hinter dem Hotel Medici ist ein Carrefour Express, wo ihr euch versorgen könnt.

• Dilara (10/5): Спасибо за такое доброе и отзывчивое отношение хозяина,мы чувствовали себя как дома - Все понравилось Оно не связано с объектом,там для постояльцев рядом в ресторане на завтрак 20% скидка,мы опаздывали на поезд и попросили их положить с собой,в результате они положили не всё ,а мы оплатили весь заказ,было очень неприятно это обнаружить в поезде,французского тоста не обнаружили стоил со скидкой 10 евро,название ресторана Gamberini ,если прочитаете обязательно им донесите наше недовольство и кофе холодный был,его мы выпили на месте🤦🏻‍♀️

Organizo perfectamente nuestra llegada que fue muy tarde, pero encontramos todo como ella nos lo había explicado. Si volvemos a Florencia repetiremos con el Gues House Dommo. Nos aconsejaron un sitio para desayunar con un 20% de descuento por estar hospedados en el Guest House Domo, Gamberini, no nos aplicaron el 20%, y además el trato fue desagradable.

It was spotlessly clean and just perfect for our short stay. Great engagement with the agent representing the property and always quick to reply. There was nothing adverse about the property except that you could find a much cheaper parking agent than the one recommended.

The room was with air-conditioning(you need it when you are in Florence during the summer) and attached with a toilet. It was reasonable for the charges and a pleasant stay. Thanks a lot! Pros- location 10 min from Florenze SMN station. Do walk out from the other side (not the one near mcdonalds) Few good food options nearby - the spice junction (indian),Osteria dei centropoveri(italian) It's far from tourist attractions and the room is on the first floor so you need to go up a narrow fleet of stairs to reach the room which was difficult with luggage Additional information to fellow travellers and not related to this accommodation For italy, travel light ,preferably a backpack and hand carry that can withstand the pebble stone roads and you can carry up/down stairs Ensure to buy public transport tickets once you reach train stations or from tobacco shops nearby or have individual travel cards if you want to avoid walking or spending a lot on private transport like taxis. If you want to use credit cards/travel card do note one card can be used only by one person i.e if you pay for yourself using card A, for next person you cannot use card A in the same journey .
• Helene (10/5): Guest house in a great location - The owners were there to meet us and because we were early we were able to keep our bags there until our room was y. They notified us when it was available. The guest house is in a great location and our room was in a very quiet area of the building. Not only is it convenient to trains and buses, it is not far from the main attractions of Florence. We will surely recommend it to our friends. Met all our needs.

• Maria-olympia (7/5): Good in general - The room and the bathroom were big, clean and comfortable for 3 people. We got all the details for our check-in from the host since we would be checking in late. The host was very kind and quick to answer all our questions on WhatsApp. It was a pity that we did not meet at all, not even on the last day during the check-out. The house is situated very close to the train station as well as restaurants and cafés. You could easily take a walk towards the centre of Florence from there (about 15min.). We would definitely recommend the pizza restaurant below our house with really good napoletan pizza (NOT a touristic trap!) and Gamberini café and bistro which is close to the house both for breakfast and a glass of wine. We also got a discount from our host for breakfast at the café. The area was not nice. While we were coming closer to the house, the neighbourhood did not seem very safe and it smelt a lot from the drains in the street. Luckily, the room did not smell bad as there was constantly a perfume device plugged in the bathroom and probably in the house as well. We noticed that as we were walking towards the centre of the town the smell disappeared. The first impression of the area where the house is was not good in general as there were people around who seemed suspicious. One more thing that was negative was that there was a lot of noise until late from a bar which was also below the house. I would not recommend the house in general for families but for couples or friends visiting Florence, it would be ok. We also got the information that there is a mosquito repellent device to plug in and we thought that we would not need to use it. Unfortunately, yes, there was a mosquito in the room and there is a possibility that the area has problems with that as well as a drain problem.

Tricky door locks(but you get used to it on the first day, one set of keys) and a large staircase only if you are traveling with a big luggage or stroller (we all had carry on luggage so it was great for us).

• Michelle (9/5): Perfect stay for a family of four for a quick visit. - The space of the room long and wide. 4 single beds in one space but with each their own nightstand, light, outlet. Two separate tables for waters, keys, wallets, etc. a small fridge, tea kettle, tea, cups, sugar. Two large windows that had dark shutters and curtains that faced the street. The windows opened. The bathroom was narrow but long. The shower had good hot water and good pressure. The window in bathroom let in some natural light and provided ventilation. Owner super friendly. Very informative, nice. Good communication and directions to entering building and apartment. Bathroom narrow, not enough towels, dim lighting in bathroom. One key for the four of us(it’s a real key)
• Haykanush (8/5): Overall nice stay, good family room - Nice, pleasant room, just like in the pictures.Clean bathroom. Some old-fashioned furniture gives a nice touch to the room. Very close to the train station Centrale, which is very handy when you travel between cities by train, visit Pisa. Some basic kitchen utensils are missing, like spoon, fork and knife, so you could have breakfast in the room with something bought from the supermarket. The floor was very dusty, not visible from first sight, but you cannot walk just in socks.
• Regina (10/5): Fabulous and oh so comfy! - Beautifully decorated light filled room was so welcoming! The linens were lightly scented, as is the soap. Chilled, purified water was waiting for us at check in, along with the prettiest tea cups. Very spacious room with lots of lights. Stephan graciously worked with our very early check in request so we could enjoy our time in Florence before our 6 AM flight out the next morning. The location is very convenient to trams, trains and busses. BUT the best part - the bed was so incredibly comfortable!!! I had my best night's sleep here put of the 15 on my trip. Lots of cozies in the wardrobe if you'd like, too. You really can't go wrong here. I don't like that I didn't stay here earlier on in my trip!

Stefano welcomed us upon check-in, arranged for our garage parking and airport taxi, his service is exceptional. He also gave restaurant recommendation, which are nearby. Expect some noise at night coming from the street and restos/bars, which you need to close the windows.

The queen bed was very comfortable, nice cold air conditioning, large bathroom and shower compared to other properties we stayed at in Italy. Didn't hear any street noise overnight and closing windows the room was very dark for sleeping. Complimentary water and wifi. Stefano greatest us in the morning when we arrived to Florence at 11am, he took our luggage for us and put it in the room when it was ready at 1pm. We didn't use the discount voucher for breakfast at the cafe. The room is a little way out of the main hussle and bussle of the city centre and only a couple streets back from the river. Restaurants on the same block and a pharmacy across the road. 500m from the train station an easy walk with our luggage. No small towels to use as a face washer. Something we are used to in Australia but didn't seem common anywhere in Italy. Not a big deal.

The morning we checked out one of the rooms had left the air conditioner on and apparently a minor scratch on the wall. Well the manager send me a nasty message questioning my integrity and accused us of lack of respect The way we were treated by the managing staff

It was above a pub that didn’t close until 2am. Eventually you got used to the noise but if someone went ‘off’ out the front it was loud. It was very quiet in the morning though! Staircase!! Hard with big luggage!
