- Mark (8/5): Great location - Great location. Nice and clean. Sat nav had trouble finding it. Kept trying seems is down one way streets. Not the hotels fault. Breakfast was basic, but fine. No or coffee in the room. It didn't say there would be any. Just come to expect it. Perhaps not on this part of the world. The barely open.

- Jonathan (9/5): Wasn’t sure what to expect and in a very foreign location for us but really couldn’t fault it. - Excellent location. Breakfast fully prepared and served at the time requested. Free parking at the front door. Very friendly and accommodating staff. They could sign the building a bit better. Followed google maps to the street but once in the street it took a little while to find the hotel. Not all the hotel’s fault. Some of that belongs to maps app.

- Bridgette (10/5): Amazing staff, great room, unbeatable location - Firstly, the staff were so wonderful and friendly, I immediately felt at home. With breakfast included, I was worried that I would miss it on my first morning as I had to leave the hotel at 7am for a tour, but before I even had a chance to raise the question the staff had asked what time I would like to have my breakfast, and when I said 'Is 6.30 too early or is that ok?" they said 'Of course that's ok! We'll see you then'. The breakfast itself was great and surprisingly the dining room was full of guests doing the same thing as me but they still found me a spot and were very attentive. The next morning I slept in and missed breakfast, which was my own doing, but when I went downstairs to check out they asked if I wanted breakfast and they would make it for me even thought it was past breakfast time! Besides the incredible staff and service, the room was lovely, clean and comfortable, with new towels provided daily. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, shower had great pressure and overall the whole room was sleek and everything worked exactly as it should. Location was amazing also, literally right next the main strip of bars and restaurants (but you wouldn't know it when you go to sleep, I couldn't hear anything). There were shops, live music and parks all within a 5 minute walk. Nothing to dislike about Hotel Alis. Could not be happier with my stay here.
- Neil (6/5): Pleasant - Great location near the old town and local restaurants. They allowed me to store my luggage with them whilst I went on a hike in the mountains for a few days. They rushed me a packed breakfast to take with me on my journey which was very welcome. The room on the first night smelled of cigarettes. The room on my return had ants on the bed. The receptionist on duty had to phone her manager for what to do. Really staff should be trained and authorised to handle any issues that come up.

This hotel offers you anything you’re looking for, for a short term stay as a couple. So we’ll come back.

- Henna (9/5): Comfortable bed! - Nice, big room and very comfortable bed!! Quiet room and we slept really well. Hotel staff was really friendly. Motorbike parking in front of the hotel only. I sent a message before hand saying we are vegans and hope vegan options for breakfast. Unfortunately, we had sausages, eggs and cheese on the table waiting for us. The electricity stopped functioning just before we left, but I guess that is not hotels choice but quite common phenomena in the city. Although the other shops outside seemed to have power, which was wierd.

- Aigars (9/5): Superb - Central location, right at the pedestrian area. Limited parking possibilities, but hotel management always help with this. Big room. Hard to find a route to hotel if You travel by car. And Albanian transport traffic is something exceptional. If You are going to stay for the longer period than the same breakfast every morning is a little bit annoying.

- Neda (7/5): Location, Parking, Expensive for Average stay for the money!! - Excellent Location, Newer Hotel, Free parking, Greeting Staff, accommodated free water, couple sodas and a plate of fresh grapes. Average breakfast included! Price was too high; breakfast was average, the elevator to the room was in the dining room, our room was tiny but clean, the bathroom was even smaller, had to step into the shower to close the bathroom door!! Shower head was bigger than the shower! Bathroom floor was not clean. Conclusion $75 for this room was not worth staying there!!!

- NailaM28 (10/5): Lovely place, perfect location - We were looking for a place for once night stay only and Alis proved to be a great option! The location is right at the heart of the city, with all the important spots at a walking distance. We even received a discount, because of a short stay. Rooms are spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very polite. The only remark would be the fact that there is no elevator, so the walking up/down the stairs can be an issue. Other than that, everything was great! I highly recommend this place!
- melh670 (10/5): Fantastic, clean, new! - Great little hotel just off the main pedestrian street. Open less than a year, modern furnishings, wifi, restaurant next door. Sheets and bathroom spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful. Excellent rates. Parking spaces reserved on street outside. Only thing missing is a lift but staff will take luggage to rooms. (Not a hotel for people with mobility issues as all stairs). Cafes only a minute or two to walk to but no noise from them due to hotel being on side street. Took us a bit of time to find out how to get there with car as we had explored on foot from another hotel nearby that we were not happy with. Have to drive up part of pedestrian walkway and it is on the corner of a street on the right. Would highly recommend this.
- 76armandon (10/5): Amazing Hotel - Alis hotel is a great place to stay in Shkoder. It's location allows you to be near all facilities. Dedicated parking space is also a strong point of this hotel. Rooms are well equipped with all necessary amenities. Staff is very friendly.
