- Jouvin (7/5): - Hôtel très bien placé au coeur de Manhattan. Chambre petite mais calme, propre et confortable. Lit double de 140 cm ce qui est un peu juste pour 2 adultes. Attention tous les produits à disposition dans chambre sont payants (11$ les 50 cl d'eau !). Petit déjeuner très succinct (une boisson et une viennoiserie ou un yaourt). Pour le prix, vraiment doyde ne pas avoir de petit-déjeuner continental avec buffet.

When I asked to see the restaurant, the staff provided an impromptu tour. The room faced a brick wall. We had only one robe for two people. There was not a high attention to detail. I would have liked complimentary water placed by the bed each evening and turn-down service.

Not the greatest and we had to ask for bedsheets, even though they knew we had three in room. Then later also remembered we needed towels. Could all have been arranged at checkin. Queen room is very tiny. Try to get a room not right on street. Quite noisy. All told we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Had to ask for sheets and towels for third person on pullout. Should have been discussed at checking, as I thought it would have been prepared already.

Set asciugamani di alta qualità colazione minimal, ma ottima. Un boutique hotel perfetto. Un po’ di rumore della ventilazione che arriva dal cortile. Il sofa-letto non comodissimo.

Staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast could include 2 items and offer fresh fruit. Nespresso machines should offer a ceramic or porcelain coffee cup in addition to the paper cups. I've stayed in 3 star hotels with better coffee cups. Expected better at the Evelyn.

Por no mencionar el desayuno que es una auténtica vergüenza. También destacar que en booking es engañoso pone 5 estrellas pero no es que el hotel las tenga sino que es por las puntuaciones. Que además no son merecidas.

Aa we have booked a room 6 months before arrival, the room could be with more interesting view - it was to the courtyard with opposite building, and air conditioning. Our trip to NYC was to celebrate my partners 30th birthday and both Amal and Peter from guest relations went above and beyond to give my partner and I a memorable experience. The Evelyn is definitely going to be our go to accommodation everytime we come to town moving forward. Everything was great, nothing not to like

Ovviamente, come in Inghilterra e in Francia non c'era il bidet e il bagno era un po' angusto. Posizione eccellente sulla Fifth. Personale disponibile ed educato. Complessivamente un soggiorno più che buono. La colazione era un po' essenziale e senza scelta (un croissant e una bevanda). Per un edificio di dodici piani, due ascensori forse sono un po' poco, specialmente durante il fine settimana, quando l'Hotel si riempie.

The room would, I feel, have been too cramped for two people, with very little space for luggage. Then again, with NYC prices/taxes being what they are, small hotel rooms are not an uncommon situation. The bed was comfortable and, overall the room was fine. The difference, to me, was the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk.

A cama é muito boa, confortável de mais, o piso do banheiro é aquecido torna a experiencia mais agradável. However it was a breakfast where certain stable dishes were included and others not. It was fine in the end but the coffee was terrible.

Our room (8th floor) was small but beautifully appointed and very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning and the wine hour one evening. EVERY staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. We stopped by the Dominique Ansel Workshop a couple doors down on our last day and had some amazing pastries (wish we hadn't waited to do that!). Reader, do yourself a favor and just book your reservation already!
- Venture17793905541 (10/5): Wonderful stay - Wonderful Stay at The Evelyn Hotel I stayed at The Evelyn Hotel for 5 nights during a recent trip from the UK to New York, and it was the perfect base for exploring the city. The location couldn’t be better — an easy walk to Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center, and plenty of other major sights. When I wanted to venture further, the nearby subway stations made getting around incredibly simple. The room itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything you need for a city break. Despite being in such a central area, it was surprisingly quiet, which meant I slept brilliantly every night. The bed was very comfy, and the shower was excellent — exactly what you want after a long day of walking around Manhattan. Overall, a fantastic stay. I’d happily return on my next visit to New York.

- Luigi (8/5): - Posizione ottima, molto centrale rispetto alle vie classiche di NYC e vicino alla metro. Gentilezza e servizi nello standard degli hotel americani. Colazione: scelta molto limitata. Avendo incluso la colazione nella tariffa mi aspettavo di fare una classica colazione americana. In realta' e' una colazione di tipo drop-off: hai incluso un caffe (o un succo di arancia) e una brioche da portare via. Ci sono po dei tavolini (molto pochi) per consumare. A questo punto e' preferibile scegliere una tariffa senza colazione e andare a fare una vero breakfast in centro (ci sono delle bakery carine nei dintorni).

- Evelyn (8/5): - Das Hotel ist super Zentral gelegen. Die U-Bahn Stationen sind sehr nah. Man ist in ein paar Minuten am Times Square. Das Hotel bietet ein kleines Frühstück, das nach meiner Meinung, ausreichend ist, da man ja eh noch die typischen Speisen von New York probieren muss. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, aber wohl für New Yorker Verhältnisse normal. Ansonsten gibt es alles was man braucht auf dem Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. - TravelerLiu (10/5): Impeccable Service - 5/5. Peter at the front desk is a gem! The service is exemplary. I told him that I was here for the premiere of Cats Jellicle Ball and he left a thoughtful note and bag of goodies in my room for the occasion! The room is super cute. I love the music themed wall decor.
- Fclodomiro (10/5): The fact that I wrote this says a lot. - We stayed in a top-floor suite and from the moment we walked in, everything felt considered. The art deco details, the curated art and fashion books, the Frete linens and towels — it's refined elegance without being stiff. Even just being in the room felt like a vacation from our busy lives. The fluffy robes didn't hurt either. Ohh, and the people! Keyani greeted us with a sweet welcome note in Spanish. Sava, the general manager, was attentive in a way that felt genuine, while Dipak handled our luggage, found us a taxi, and got us on our way to the airport without a single hitch...a rare level of care . The location is perfect — smack in the middle of the city but somehow calm (our gorgeous 13th floor room was impressively quiet). Multiple subway lines nearby, surrounded by incredible restaurants, and right next to Dominique Ansel's workshop, which alone is worth the trip (brown sugar kouign amann anyone?). We'll be back!!!!
