- dharmesh (5/5): - location and luggage check in except for the lobby the hotel is rundown. the shower curtain is so short it doesn’t reach the tub ledge so the entire floor gets wet with each shower. keep using towels to mop the floor. the shower pressure is insufficient . no vent in the bath just a grill opening in the roof. got a second invoice from hotel even though all prepaid to bookingdot. com. after bringing it to their notice they did revert it.

The breakfast is not good , even you dont have any sandviches. You can take one tea or coffea plus one bakery and one fruit. Even you would like to drink one more coffea you cant.

Der Safe ist so gut versteckt, dass man eine Lampe braucht um ihn zu schliessen oder zu öffnen. Im einen Zimmer hatte es keinen Kühlschrank. Man musste sehr lange auf einen Lift warten wenn man zur Lobby wollte. Und wenn dann endlich mal einer kam war er meist proppevoll, bis er unten war.

- Jason (3/5): Great location, awful hotel - Location Staff were horrendous. My £50 shorts went missing from my room, was advised that it was accidentally sent to their linen cleaner. I was told I would be updated, but still haven't heard anything 6 days later. They also do not provide any glassware in the rooms, I had to go to the reception to ask for a glass, they gave us a plastic pint glass. Not really what you would expect considering the price of the hotel
- Keith (5/5): Good location, low quality accommodation - Great location, 2 blocks from Central Park and about a 10 minute stroll to Times Square or Rockefeller centre. Plenty of subway stations nearby too. Rooms were decent. Our room smelled of smoke as soon as we arrived. It got worse in the middle of our first night, and a strong smell of weed as well as loud chatter next door kept us awake. I had to get up at 2am to report the noise and smell to the front desk. Security came up to sort out the noise for us (thanks Mike) but nothing was done about the smell... We were told a room change would be possible the following day but nobody approached us about this. No apology or even acknowledgement was given, and no refund or discount or compensation of any kind was offered for a very poor experience. Apart from this, water pressure was very weak in both the shower and taps, and the tv didn't work. It was all quite disappointing as I had stayed here 6 years ago on a work trip and found it to be nice, it has obviously been mismanaged somewhere along the way since then.

- P (8/5): We had a great week at Park Central and hope to be back soon! - We are returning customers so we are pleased to stay at Park Central when we come to NY; the location is great, rooms have reasonable space and the hotel is quite nice. We had breakfast included in our booking but breakfast is more of a small choice of items taken to go ( like coffee bagel and a piece of fruit, not really a normal continental breakfast. It was ok but it would be nice to have known beforehand

- Ulrica (8/5): Allt var toppen utom frukosten. Den var urusel. - Det var jättebra, vi bodde i ett rum för tre gäster och det var bra storlek på rummet med ett stort badrum. Stor foajé och m trevlig bar/lounge. Frukosten var urusel, en påse med varsin sötsliskig paistry, hade uppskattat en macka med ost/skinka. Man kunde välja bort ”bullen” och då fick man en naturell yoghurt. En frukt o kaffe. Dessutom var kundbemötandet uruselt just där man hämtade sin frukostpåse.

- James (8/5): Overall good experience and great value for the money spent. Excellent location is a major drawcard - Restaurant and Bar Twenty Sevens was very good as was the little sandwich and drinks shop near the lobby. Rooms look dated in a drab and uninviting way - in need of a total makeover

- Joanna (5/5): Disappointing. - I love the location. I have stayed in this hotel numerous times and have always enjoyed my stay. This time however there was an issue with the elevators for 6 of the 7 days we were there. This REALLY impacted on our stay. As I left the manager agreed to refund via booing.com the daily tax rate. I have emailed the hotel numerous times and booking.com and have had no response.

- panchal (4/5): Questionable stay - a motel level experience. - Rooms were clean. Housekeeping did the cleaning daily properly. 1. Elevators took forever to come and take me to my floor all the time. Lots of waiting for the elevators and most of the times, only one elevator was available to be used, most of the time. 2. Basic cutlery that is normally provided in any hotel room, was not given here ,Upon calling the housekeeping, they will send only when requested, Hence, we had to resort to using plastic forks, knives and spoons from the cafeteria. Toiletries like toothbrush and shaving kit also wasn’t there. When we called they said we had to request for that , then only they provided the same. 3. The 'Continental Breakfast' as Park Central Hotel mentions, is an absolute joke. All they said was to collect 1 fruit, 1 pastry and 1 drink like coffee, tea or juice. ONLY 1, not like we could ask for more than 1. As someone who travels often and stays in hotels, a breakfast means a proper buffet and not handing me 1 item of such limited options like this. UNACCEPTABLE. Also, one of the cafeteria lady providing the so called breakfast, had a very dull attitude towards customer and kept rolling eyes,. Not the kind of treatment you like to see first thing in the morning. . 4. For drinking water, we had to call and we were asked to go to the 3rd floor, in the gym, to collect and bring ourselves to our room. With the elevators issue and my knee injury, this was a cumbersome task.
