• Su-C1950 (10/5): A remarkable hotel experience! - Our return trip to this Ritz this year did not disappoint but surpassed our expectations in spite of former visits. Our suite, Room 210, was exquisite....the high ceilings, tall windows with balconies overlooking the Bar Vendome courtyard was truly a Ritz experience. The attention to details of fabrics, chandeliers and, of course the fabulous bathroom cannot be compared. We were able to attend the scrumptious Sunday buffet...a not to miss experience.. Francesco, our attentive server, escorted us around the buffet which included every imaginable food delights. The hotel breakfast is also a wonderful start to every day. The wait staff, Nicholas, Lauriane, Phillip and Sophie were also so helpful and enteretaining. Of special note ..after a day of 18,000 steps I called for medication. Florian, came to our room with a French Tylenol advising us dosage and instructions...Much appreciated. The entire staff, Moussa, doorman included was professional and extremely solicitous.

Much has already been said, often in glowing terms (and we generally agreed), so we offer instead a more nuanced perspective shaped by our recent stay. Three observations, in particular, defined the experience: (i) The hard product — nothing short of spectacular The physical beauty of the hotel is, quite simply, unparalleled. From the grand lobby to the hushed, gilded corridors and its storied dining venues, every corner reflects a level of craftsmanship and elegance that feels increasingly rare. This is, without hesitation, one of the most beautiful hotels we have experienced in Paris. Our Deluxe room, upgraded through our Leaders Club membership, was exquisite. The attention to detail is meticulous, the finishes opulent yet restrained, and it is evident that no expense has been spared. A triumph in design and heritage. (ii) A surprisingly very public atmosphere. What caught us off guard was the hotel’s distinctly public character. The steady flow of non-resident visitors through its common areas lends the property a more commercial, almost theatrical energy. It is unmistakably a place to see and be seen. Its celebrated dining venues are in constant demand, often fully reserved, which, while a testament to their reputation, limits spontaneity. Though in-house guests are afforded a degree of priority, the experience still requires careful pre-planning. For those who gravitate toward discretion, serenity, and the freedom of unstructured days, this may feel somewhat at odds with the ideal of a restful retreat. Of course, this is ultimately a matter of personal preference. (iii) Polished service, yet lacking intimacy and distinction. Service at the Ritz Paris is, by all conventional standards, excellent, gracious, efficient, and impeccably polished. However, at this echelon, excellence alone is not the benchmark. Two subtle but meaningful elements felt absent. First, guest recognition: perhaps owing to the volume of visitors, there appeared to be a limited familiarity with in-house guests, evidenced by repeated confirmations of our residency well into the second day, an unexpected detail at this level. Second, and more importantly, the intangible “surprise and delight.” While service is refined, it can feel somewhat performative, precise, yet lacking the warmth and genuine connection that elevates a stay from memorable to truly exceptional. In a city as competitive as Paris, and among its finest addresses, this distinction becomes all the more pronounced. Final reflection To stay at the Ritz Paris is, undeniably, a privilege, an experience that rightfully holds a place on many travel wish lists. Yet, beyond the grandeur and legacy, it is the finer nuances that ultimately shape the stay. • kenbR9946PM (10/5): Over the top - I went for a spa day - so a massage early then used the sauna and pool area and after a very long lunch at the Bar Vendôme. I get massages regularly and I have to tell you Julian might have given me the best massage I’ve ever had . I was suffering from a week of skiing and my god he straightened me out . The facilities are first class as you would expect . They got me in for my 2:30! lunch and the food and wine another level . I love Burgundy and the sommelier was able to select a village wine from Saint Denis ( Bruno Clair ) that was affordable but almost Grand Cru in quality! We left feeling so pampered as only the Ritz can do … go for a spa day !

We are planning a return trip in July and have been met with an uneven response from the hotel regarding special requests for our stay. After four days, I have yet to receive a response from reservations regarding the details of our stay and special requests despite sending multiple emails. I would expect better service from the storied Ritz Paris.

Their house tea is amazing, and I especially valued being offered a glass of champagne without alcohol. The service was impeccable! What a treat!

Attention to detail and service was what you expect. We had a wonderful evening with Happy birthday playing on the piano. Our meals were lovely but unfortunately I must have had a dodgy oyster . (I love oysters by the way. ) and I was very sick that evening. I don’t believe it was anything else and I wouldn’t blame the hotel. It was just unfortunate I think . A chance you take I imagine with raw oysters. A birthday I will never forget as the 2 day trip was a complete surprise by my daughter and son.

The food and drinks were amazing and the overall atmosphere was nothing like we have experienced at any other Ritz before. 10/10 I do recommend to stay here. :)

At this level and at such eye watering prices, it should be perfect or almost so. Rooms are great, Bar Vendome is great and the indoor pool is great. Breakfast, whilst in a lavish setting, was disappointing, and there were numerous service issues that meant it was a more stressful experience than it should have been. Follow-up from Laurent the GM was also poor which added to the lacklustre feel of the whole place. Next time I’ll go back to the FS GV.

• Inspire25083388098 (8/5): A beautiful Parisian experience with room for improvement - The hotel’s location couldn’t be more perfect — right in the heart of Paris, surrounded by everything that makes the city so special. The property itself is absolutely stunning and has that unmistakable wow effect from the moment you arrive. We loved the balance between its rich historical charm and the way everything is so impeccably maintained — every detail feels cared for, everything is spotless, and it’s clear the team takes great pride in the upkeep. Our room was beautiful, elegant, and full of character, yet with all the comfort and modern touches you would expect from a top luxury hotel. Breakfast was another highlight — not only was it served in a gorgeous setting, but the service was also outstanding, warm, and attentive. We also had the chance to visit the legendary Hemingway Bar, which truly lives up to its reputation with its intimate, classic Parisian atmosphere. Overall, the Ritz Paris fully deserves its iconic status for timeless elegance and exceptional service. My arrival experience was, unfortunately, disappointing — especially considering that the Ritz Paris is listed among The Leading Hotels of the World, and my reservation was made directly through that program. I am an Aurelian Member, which represents the top 1% of High Return Guests within the LHW loyalty program — the highest tier offering benefits such as a guaranteed 4 p.m. late check-out and upgrades to higher room categories. At check-in, however, there was no acknowledgment of my membership or any recognition that the booking was made through LHW. Neither the front desk team nor the room setup reflected this in any way — there was no mention of the program, no welcome letter, nothing indicating that the hotel values its partnership with LHW. When I politely asked about the guaranteed late check-out benefit, the lady at the front desk responded in a rather dismissive tone, saying that the hotel doesn’t guarantee late check-outs for American Express bookings. I explained that my reservation had nothing to do with American Express and showed a screenshot of my confirmed LHW booking, where the 4 p.m. late check-out is explicitly guaranteed. Her attitude became noticeably defensive, and instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, she insisted that any late check-out would be granted only as a courtesy of the hotel — and added that, “for the future,” the property does not guarantee such benefits for any programs, including American Express. Moreover, no room upgrade was offered or even mentioned. Normally, when an upgrade cannot be extended, a professional front desk agent would at least acknowledge the benefit and politely explain that, regrettably, the hotel is fully occupied at the moment. In this case, the lady at the front desk neither mentioned nor addressed it at all, which again reflected a lack of awareness of the program’s standards. She also told me that she would call as soon as the room was ready, but no one reached out afterward. We were already seated in the bar, and closer to 4 p.m. one of the bar staff kindly offered to check whether our room was ready. Shortly after that, a different gentleman from the front desk came to meet us personally — he was extremely polite, pleasant, and took the time to tell us more about the hotel. From that moment on, every interaction with the front desk and the concierge team was excellent — warm, professional, and truly reflective of the Ritz Paris standards. My comments therefore refer only to the lady who handled the initial check-in, and not to the rest of the team, who were outstanding in every respect. Overall, this left an impression that the front office team could benefit from more consistent training regarding the LHW program and its benefits — particularly to ensure a smoother and more gracious first impression for arriving guests. Another situation occurred upon arrival, involving a man working in the lobby area — possibly a security guard or bellman — whose behavior on two separate occasions was quite unusual and uncomfortable. Right after check-in, while waiting for my room to be ready, I went to use the restroom inside the hotel. As I was walking through the lobby, this man suddenly stopped me and asked where I was going. When I replied that I was heading to the restroom, he told me that I was not allowed to “walk around the hotel.” I explained that my room was not yet ready and that I was simply waiting in the meantime, but he continued questioning me in a rather unpleasant tone, asking where my luggage was and implying that if I were a real guest, I would have left it with the staff. The exchange felt unnecessary and awkward, and because his English was limited, the conversation became even more uncomfortable. I found myself having to justify why I was there — even though I had already checked in and was waiting for my room to become available. About an hour later, when my friend arrived, the same man behaved similarly toward him. My friend had just entered the hotel and recorded a short ten-second video on his phone of the lobby’s beautiful interior — without filming any people. The same man quickly approached him and, in a rather sharp tone, said that filming was strictly forbidden. This was especially confusing because, while I was waiting earlier, I saw many other guests freely taking photos and videos of the lobby area — some of which might have even included me. There seemed to be no consistent enforcement or communication of any such rule. If filming in the lobby is indeed prohibited, it would be fair for the hotel to clearly inform all guests upon arrival, rather than applying this policy selectively. Overall, these two encounters with the man in the lobby created a very uncomfortable atmosphere and unfortunately spoiled the first impression of the hotel — both for me and for my friend, at completely different times. It was surprising and disappointing to see how the attitude of just one staff member could negatively affect the perception of an otherwise exceptional property like the Ritz Paris. At the same time, I would like to emphasize that the rest of the team performed excellently throughout our stay. In particular, Moussa, who assisted us with our luggage upon departure, was extremely polite, attentive, and genuinely kind — his attitude toward guests was the complete opposite, and he truly represented the gracious and welcoming spirit expected from a hotel of this level. I would like to emphasize that this review is not written as a complaint, but rather as constructive feedback. The Ritz Paris is an outstanding hotel that I would confidently recommend to other guests. My intention is simply to draw attention to these few moments involving two specific employees, as such small interactions can have a significant impact on the overall impression of the stay. I trust that the hotel’s management and training team will take this feedback in the right spirit — as an opportunity to ensure that every guest’s experience consistently reflects the world-class standards for which the Ritz Paris is so rightly known.
• zh880 (2/5): Disgusting treatment - Very rude staff at the door entrance. Mind you my friend and I never came badly dressed, only ever in Loro Piana and Hermes and they denied us entry for the bar, the terrace, and the Proust. I was dreaming of coming for tea in the beautiful Proust but I was never able due to the rude door man. On the first day (Sunday) he told us to come back tomorrow because today was busy. Monday we went back and he said we should have booked yesterday but we were unable to due to being denied entry and therefore not being able to speak to anyone about availability. I recommend you do not come as this man was so friendly I was disgusted.

• 24stephel (10/5): SUMMER TRIP - The previous summer i had my first opportunity to travel completely separate from my parents. so that experience was unforgettable . Me and my friends were having very eventful , bright and awesome eurotrip . But the most exciting part of our holidays was in Paris.We booked plaza atene in a month by taking the last number. I can say that we made reservation pretty in advance however there was still a large margin on the rooms due to couture fashion week . And due to this fact we met a lot of famous people . Upon arrival at our hotel , the room expectations were surpassed , we were very delighted of the proffessional and knowledgable staff. As our room it was very nice but design and comfort of the bathroom were really old . One of the biggest advantage of our hotel is location . Plaza was situated in the very center, so all facilities were very close to us. Housekeeping was also on a good level. Restaurants there were too old and boring so we didn’t go a lo to them. But Every day we go sightseeing and eat in popular restaurants . We attend such museums as Orangerie and Orsay Museum. Unfortunately we didn’t go the louvre because there was a coward of people. As for me Paris is the most wonderful and energetic city all streets ,houses, shops , restaurants are very aesthetic and filled with incredible energy. Thus i wasn’t able to skip walking along architecture and unique buildings. Nevertheless there were some disadvantages like mentality of french people and robbery.Differences between our nation i fully understood in restaurant services and felling unsafely in the streets . As a conclusion i would like to say that i can recommend plaza atene to spent there your holidays in such romantic city Paris, but try to make your reservation per 2 months , not in tourist season .

Even the surrounding streets feel like a walk through history. We’ve visited Paris several times, always trying a different hotel — but that ends here. After this unforgettable stay, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. • PJG1966 (4/5): Don’t bother unless you are a VIP! - The Ritz Paris is a magnificent hotel in a wonderful location with a fascinating history. The public areas are opulent and extensive and the rooms and suites simply magnificent and truly some of the finest in Paris or indeed anywhere. The hotel is understandably very expensive with standard rooms costing upwards of 2500 Euros per night and suites in excess of 30,000 Euros. However all this luxury and opulence has to be paid for and you can just imagine the overheads of such a huge operation. On this occasion we were not actually staying at the Ritz but I had contacted the hotel as we wished to come for lunch to celebrate a very special birthday - yes one of those! I therefore contacted the hotel as I have been a regular guest over the years. I did suggest that it might be a lovely gesture if we be offered a glass of champagne to toast the occasion or maybe a small birthday cake. The reply I received was very curt and to the point - making it clear they don’t offer champagne etc as the hotel is frequented by VIPs - which presumably meant they can afford to pay for the champagne unlike a freeloader like myself. I was in fact happy to pay for lunch or afternoon tea and had just mentioned that as it was a special occasion it would be nice if this could be marked accordingly. To be honest I am not that bothered about a glass of champagne it was more the gesture I was hoping for. I would have been equally happy with a glass of Aldi’s Prosecco! I must confess I was genuinely shocked both by the hotel’s meanness and lack of hospitality and did write to the hotel’s GM but was not surprised that I received no reply which only confirmed my suspicions. So if you are a VIP, vlogger or influencer with money to burn then I am sure you will have a wonderful time at the Ritz but sadly clearly it’s not for the likes of me. I was planning a very special birthday party for my husband and had wanted him to see the hotel and been shown round. However given the lack of hospitality offered I have now booked a large function suite and lavish dinner along 10 bedrooms/suites for us and guests at another Grande Dame in Paris who were warm, kind and very hospitable. I guess their gain is the Ritz’s loss but they will survive as another VIP will be arriving soon!

I decided to wait in the Ritz and have lunch. The restaurant I went into was to the left-hand side after you entered the main entrance I had lobster ravioli with lemongrass bisque. The ravioli is made with Wong Tong pastry very nice. The selection of bread was excellent. I had a cheeseburger to follow which came out in two separate small slider type cheeseburgers I asked for them to be medium. They arrived raw and cold in the inside a very case of "Blue almost still alive ". I don't think anyone likes to bite into cold mincemeat slightly warm on the outside in a burger bun, I just don't think the French can make burgers very well. It was quite revolting to be honest it was basically cold meat patties I was lucky my boss decided for me to tell him to pick him up so I had to leave thank goodness I will say everything looked fantastic especially all the pastries that were on display but I'm just judging this on the burger either way, I will definitely be back to try out other dishes as I think I just picked the wrong one.

We visited during the Olympic Games last summer, a time that was understandably chaotic, and the hotel provided a true sanctuary of tranquility. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make our stay not only comfortable but genuinely memorable. What stood out most was the hotel’s remarkable ability to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them. Any request we made was fulfilled promptly and with the utmost care. One of the most delightful surprises came from housekeeping, whose thoughtful nightly arrangements of our children’s stuffed animals quickly became a highlight of their day. Even in the fitness center, the attention to detail was exceptional. The room was dated, with spider webs in the light fixture. My breakfast was wrong every morning—including being served a completely raw egg. The concierge couldn’t secure a single dining reservation we requested, and the hotel seemed to nickel and dime us for everything. They threatened to charge us for a small blueberry stain on the carpet. Worst of all, the bellman took so long with our bags that my husband had to bring them down himself. We’ve stayed at Cheval Blanc where the service is flawless. Sadly, The Ritz fell completely flat. Unless you're a celebrity, don’t expect to be treated like a valued guest. Would not return.

This time, I finally fulfilled that long-held wish. The check-in process was smooth—in fact, as soon as you step inside the hotel, a staff member immediately comes up to you. In a way, it's like a message saying, "No entry unless you have business here." Otherwise, the place would probably be overrun with tourists. I can somewhat understand the reviews from others that say it's "pretentious and snobby." Given the prestige of the Ritz Paris, it feels like the staff are merely putting on a show of kindness, and there's a certain lack of warmth. They go about their work efficiently and professionally, but there's a sense that they won't go out of their way to provide more than what's strictly necessary. In this context, what defines a 5 star or above hotel is not simply responding quickly to requests after they’re made, but anticipating the guest's needs and offering service proactively. What stood out the most to me here was the housekeeping. The cleaning was nothing short of perfection. Of course, the room was spotless when I first entered, but it was only after seeing how it was cleaned the next day that I realized just how meticulous and flawless the service was.

It’s everything you can imagine — and more. From the moment you walk in, the scent alone is unforgettable. If I had to describe luxury and tradition as a fragrance, this would be it. The service is on another level. Everything is wonderful — the food, the ambiance, the garden. And the indoor pool? Just wow. I never imagined you could hear music underwater. I still don’t know how they do it, but it was magical. This is a hotel for cultured people, those who enjoy dressing elegantly and appreciating history. If you prefer walking around in sportswear and sneakers, look elsewhere. Yes, it’s expensive. But it’s worth every single cent. I’ve been traveling for over 40 years, and without a doubt, this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

A gentleman escorted us around the hotel while other folks brought our bags to the room. Very nice attendant in the spa. The staff was gracious enough to speak to my wife in French, as she preferred. The room was full of super-nice extras, e.g., lots of electrical sockets (which is often not the case in historical hotels), rich carpeting, thoughtful lighting, beautiful bathroom. There was a ring holder in the bathroom, a great idea we hadn't seen before. My wife went to the spa twice (evening and morning). Nobody was angling for a tip. Indeed, when we ate dinner at the Bar Vendome, there was nothing on the bill to add a tip. Though, yes, Bar Vendome is also very expensive. It was a big splurge, but we enjoyed it completely.

Every time you enter the hotel be prepared to be fenced off by the door men acting like you do not belong there. The concierge did not book reservations and had to contact mangers to make sure anything was actually followed through on. The room and food were both A+ but this hotel does not compare to the London Ritz’s hospitality or any Four Seasons.

Breakfast was presented in a beautiful salon with options i.e.Japanese breakfast, wonderful pastries with an elegant flair. Nicolas, our server,was always professional and entertaining. The staff, from the doorman, the bellmen, concierge, waiters were highly knowledgeable, helpful and ready to welcome you “home”. We have stayed at the Crillion, Meurice, Bristol, and George Cinq but the Ritz will truly “ be our home “.

• MrNirY (2/5): Ritz Paris via AMEX FHR – Second Night with No Hot Water or Emergency Lighting - I stayed at the Ritz Paris through the AMEX FHR program for two nights, in rooms that were both unfit for a five-star hotel: • First Night: Complete power outage in the room, no emergency lighting – I required medical treatment and physiotherapy as a result. • Second Night: After being moved to a new room, there was no hot water in the shower, adding further discomfort. My total bill was approximately €9,000; the hotel only credited me €5,000, and only after legal threats and involving AMEX FHR. The photos I’ve attached clearly show these serious deficiencies. In Summary: The AMEX FHR program failed to protect me as a Centurion customer and instead backed the hotel rather than providing adequate compensation. I recommend considering alternatives such as Visa Infinite or booking directly with a clear refund policy. The photos speak for themselves.

• Andrea (6/5): - While the building itself is beautiful, I was shocked that the level of service at such a hotel was so poor and even more so that despite being a luxury hotel already charging exorbitant amounts, they still feel the need to nickel-and-dime their guests. Though some staff were lovely, most were unable to do their jobs properly in combination with being rude. For example, I was consistently ignored by their concierge with no response for days (think 4 days for one email) on time-sensitive issues, having then to call them directly and incur more than $80 in international phone charges before my trip. In another example, I experienced an exceptionally unprofessional and rude service when simply trying to get a coffee at Bar Vendome downstairs. Even more dishearteningly, when I relayed these issues (and the charges I was forced to incur due to the hotel's lack of professionalism) to management, nothing was done - the fact that I am literally paying the price for their mistakes (and to treat me poorly), in addition of course to the thousands of dollars a night for the room, is inherently wrong. If you want to feel valued and respected as a guest, I would look elsewhere.

• Beatrice (6/5): - WE had decided to try the Ritz once again, after its redo and the pandemic. For Christmas, we paid an ordinary room 2700 a night. At that hefty price, one expects a spacious room, but not this room. This room had all the desirable amenities, the usual charm of the Ritz, all the common areas are still amazing. The pool was quite far from our room but still fabulous. The HUGE disappointment was the availability to any type of restaurant, bars in the hotel for its own clients. Each time I tried to have a meal or even a drink, I had to beg, insist sometimes with a snobbish woman responding that the restaurant and bar was fully booked for days and the teatime for months ahead of time. I was dressed up appropriately, I did ask for my tables in French with smiles. Hum not the response one expects AT ALL when staying in a high standing place. Someone even suggested that yes, room service could be accommodated! Let me reassure you that once seated, the food is outstanding at breakfast, for example. The hotel should keep some tables for its customers. As for the famous Hemingway bar, well the good news is yes the hotel has reserved some times when the hotel clients can go but the bad news is you need to know at 9am when you will feel like having a drink in your hotel. So if you travel from the US and have jet lag, forget it. You will not be able to set foot in the bar unless you enter its long line. I am not sure I want to sign up for another experience where I feel frustrated.
• Y4431UJandrewh (8/5): Very nearly perfect - The Ritz Paris is arguably the most famous hotel in the world, so naturally I arrived for my 5 day stay with high expectations. As expected the hotel was beautifully decorated for the festive period. Check in was smooth, friendly and attentive with the guest relation manager taking me to my deluxe, 90m sq suite. My luggage arrived quickly and efficiently and was unpacked very thoughtfully by a housekeeper. The suite was luxurious and seamlessly integrated modern technology while maintaining the Louis XVI style opulence and comfort. I particularly enjoyed that my room gave me a direct view of the garden which looked stunning at night. I loved the Ritz signatures - the swan taps, room key light controls, and the tulip lamps. As expected the bed was supremely comfortable and provided a restful nights sleep. The only slight issue was in terms of connectivity - it wasn't until day 3 that I realised I needed an Apple TV device to stream my content and my devices were unable to charge. For the most part, service was absolutely impeccable. The housekeepers, door staff, and everybody you meet within the hotel treats you as a valued guest and is very friendly. When I realised the lock on my suitcase had broken a bell boy took the trouble of taking it to Rimowa to have it repaired and returned the same day which was amazing. Similarly, the reception staff were very gracious in allowing me to view the Marcel Proust prestige suite. My only concern was that the in-room dining staff took away items that I hadn't finished with and that security were overly zealous at times which I expected at first but not over the course of my stay. I dined at Espadon restaurant during my visit, and while the food and the sommelier were absolutely impeccable, as a solo diner I attracted awkward glances from the waiting staff and it felt as though I was the topic of conversation between staff which felt intrusive. I award 4 stars rather than 5 because at this price point, and given the reputation of the hotel, some things are missing in terms of the offer and value for money. For instance, butler service to suite guests is standard at comparable hotels (certainly in London) but isn't offered at the Ritz. Similarly, it would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities as standard; or, as part of the turndown service to be left a little treat like a chocolate on a pillow or something. The Ritz truly is a grand dame and, on the whole, provides an unforgettable Parisian experience.

The hotel and the room are both lovely, and beautifully decorated for the holidays. The tea experience itself was only okay - especially compared to other choices in Paris. Our table was not ready at the time of the reservation, which is not a big deal. But after we were seated it took more than 15 minutes for a server to come over to us. So it was almost half an hour past our appointed time by then. We knew this would be a traditional French sweet tea. However, we did expect the sweets offered to be a bit more special. The best part was the chef's special dessert as a starter. Both of our choices were delicious. The sweets them served were okay, but not what one might expect from the Ritz - especially in Paris, which in general has lovely pastries. My husband's coffee was served cold, and it took quite some time to catch a server's eye to ask that it be corrected. Overall, the atmosphere was a 10. The staff were all very gracious, if a bit harried. The food was about a 4 or 5, unfortunately. I would return to have a meal or a drink at this beautiful hotel, but I cannot recommend having tea there.

• MFischer137 (2/5): Doorman doesn’t know what “hospitality” means - We were hoping to come in and have lunch at the cafe in the lobby, but the employee who was standing just inside the revolving doors was on us the second we entered, asking why we were there and making sure we knew we weren’t allowed to go any further into the hotel. We had been out walking all day and weren’t wearing head to toe fur coats or carrying Louis Vuitton bags, so he clearly knew we weren’t good enough to be in the building and wanted to make sure to keep out the riffraff. Plenty of other people walked by without his comment, their noses in the air, and that of course was no problem to the doorman because those people clearly belonged. It’s ironic that a space that ought to exist to make people feel welcome instead does the opposite. Stuffy, “exclusive” Parisian hotel culture at its worst.

Beautiful room and restaurants very kind staff. negative things: no coffee machine in room and one of the staff told my girlfriend that she is not allowed to do pictures inside the hotel which soubds not right as there are many guests who post pictures from inside the hotel on social media. All in all still highly recommended hotel

• bill (6/5): - We ordered room service and ordered 3 single scoops of ice cream for my family. When we got the ice cream each scoop was the size of a ping pong ball, just ridiculous. Also, no iron in the room and had to wait 45 minutes to get one. To top It all of , room service rang our door buzzer at 10:00 pm when we were sleeping and then came in without us saying come in or opening the door and we never called for room service on this particular night. Really weird. I will not be back.
