Ivo (8/5): Excellent value considering the location! - The location of this hotel is the main attraction here. Situated basically at the end of Via Manzoni, it's only a short and convenient walk to Duomo, La Scala and Montenapoleone. Huge value for us was the parking in a compact courtyard - the spots are limited, but if you can score one, it's a huge plus and only 39€ per day. The interior of the rooms is a bit dated, but other than that perfectly matches the 4-star expectation. This is excellent value for money in this location.

Stéphane (1/5): Un début catastrophique malgré nos précédent séjours réussis dans ce meme établissement. - Confusion sur la durée du séjour et désaccord important sur un changement de tarif et sur des accords pris par email et non respectés. Nous ne reviendrons plus dans cet établissement et avons annuler notre futur séjour de juin. L'attiitude de la directrice et du concierge qui nous ont vraiment pris pour des imbéciles.

The room door uses a key instead of an electronic lock, and the carpets and curtains are very old. The hotel urgently needs renovation. It feels stuck in the year 1996

Anita (5/5): Good location not sure about the room. - It was a nice hotel and the reception staff were great and was happy we got the room early when we arrived. The location was great. That I got charged for a coffee when I arrived whilst waiting for my room. The bathroom was tiny not enough room at all. There wasn’t any milk for the coffee. There were bugs in the room and I had got bitten all over. The receptionist told me the taxi would cost 130 to the airport but I got charged 150 from the taxi driver, ridiculously expensive.

Die Bevölkerung Im Zentrum : Blasierter Blick, stocksteife Haltung, ,gekleidet in den teuersten Modelabels, die vielen jungen Frauen mit aufgespritzten Lippen --- keine Fröhlichkeit, keine Mimik, kein Lächeln. Völlig ungewöhnlich für Italien.

peter (9/5): Wir kommen gerne wieder - Hotel Cavour, Ca. eine Woche, Mitte April. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Viele touristisch interessante Ziele können fußläufig erreicht werden (Gemälde Galerie Brera, Dom, Teatro alla Scala, Galeria Vittorio Emanuele, die noblen Einkaufsmeilen der Welt des Luxus und der Moden usw.) Unser Zimmer war, dem Preis angemessen, eingerichtet. Für einen einwöchigen Aufenthalt war der Schrankraum zu knapp bemessen, es fehlten Kleiderbügel und Aufhänge Möglichkeiten. Lärmdämmung vorzüglich, unhörbare Klimaanlage, modernes, neu eingerichtetes Bad. Gutes bis sehr gutes Frühstück, erfreulich angemessener Preis, im Vergleich zu den horrenden Aufpreisen, die sonst verlangt werden. Neben der zentralen Lage hat uns besonders die großzügige Hotelhalle mit beeindruckender Raumwirkung, im Stil der 60er Jahre, gefallen. Sie reicht über zwei Stockwerke. Seitlich, auf Höhe des ersten Stockes, die Frühstücksempore, mit elegantem Geländer gegen die Halle abgegrenzt; darunter ein kleinerer, intimerer Raum mit Bar. Insgesamt ein stilsicheres Ambiente, stimmig passende Möblierung, Stiche an den Wänden und als Blickfang zwei lebensgroße Plastiken, Blumenschmuck. Einfach gelungen, „old fashioned“ in seiner Art, eben Verzicht auf alles Zeitgeistliche! Wie oben schon gesagt: Für eine Woche Aufenthalt zu knapp bemessener Schrankraum und fehlende Aufhänge Möglichkeiten

The scrambled eggs were miserable and so were the options around it. Pastries were just OK, not great. I was offered one coffee and then the staff disappeared... ended up getting coffee and croissant in a bar off property, afterwards...

It was also very convenient for us since we took day trips to other cities by train, and the hotel is close to the train station. I highly recommend it :)
