- Eleni (4/5): Disappointed - Location The hotel felt quite impersonal overall. The communal areas were lifeless and appeared neglected, and it would have made a big difference to have at least someone there to greet guests on arrival. The room itself was noisy, with too much light coming in from outside, and the shower pressure was very poor. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing enough that I chose not to stay for the second night, which ended up feeling like a waste of money.

It took me a couple days to figure how to work the heat. I thought it was on the wall temperature pad, but I finally learned it was the knob at the bottom of the heater.

- Cumalıoğlu (1/5): Stay as far away as possible — the hotel no longer meets any adequate standards. - Pretty much nothing is postive, except the location, which I was already familiar with as I had been staying at this property for the past two years for business when it was run by Sonder. I have stayed at this property multiple times over the past two years when it was operated by Sonder. Since Numa took over, the experience has clearly declined. This stay was highly disappointing and nowhere near the previous standard. 1- Upon arrival, no access instructions were sent, leaving me waiting outside. I was later told the email was “incorrect” and blamed on Booking.com, despite my correct email being on the reservation. 2- More seriously, my colleague who checked in the morning was given my room, even though our bookings were completely different. She had already settled in, yet I was asked to have her pack and swap rooms with me. How can I ask a colleague to leave and take all her belongings? Very far from any sense of courtesy. 3- I was not allowed to speak with management and was told nothing could be done. Even my request for a similar room was refused, so we ended up swapping at 10:30 pm. 4-My colleague had one more night stay after I left. Her PIN is changed without notice, leaving her locked out of the room at around 4–5 am. She had to contact support to obtain the new PIN. 5- Despite multiple requests for an invoice, they either sent broken links or incomplete documents. Only after repeated follow-ups and explaining what was missing did they finally manage to send a correct invoice. Overall, the situation was handled very poorly and fell well below expected standards. This is particularly disappointing given my previous positive experiences at this property when it was run by Sonder. The cherry on top was that they offered me a 15% discount on my next stay. I politely refused. Aside from the location, I would definetly not recommend staying here.
- Jean-marc (1/5): Confirmed early check-in not honoured – room unusable - nothing Review: I booked this room for an important afternoon meeting and contacted the hotel in advance regarding early check-in. Booking.com confirmed with the hotel on the same day that access would be possible at 1pm. I relied on that confirmation when organising my meeting. However, I only received the check-in instructions around 3–4pm, which made the room effectively unusable for its intended purpose. Booking.com contacted the hotel twice during the day, but no solution or compensation was offered. The explanation later given by the hotel — that the booking was for two guests — is not relevant. Booking.com defaults to two guests, no additional information was ever requested, and this was never mentioned when early check-in was confirmed. This is not about early check-in policy, but about a confirmed arrangement that was not honoured. Very disappointing experience.
- Richard (4/5): Nice hotel, let down by the administration of a stay. - Clean and modern Check in was very poor. I’d not stay again on this basis. Staff were as helpful as they could be but non on site, so phone and WhatsApp is required for any support. Being a UK resident there is no requirement to carry photo id, so making this mandatory for check in is not welcome and wasn’t spotted when booking. Hence I’d not book again. The code I was originally issued worked on the outside door but not the room door, it took almost 1.5hrs to get into my room from arriving.

Whilst it could be thought of as no frills, it came with an iron, well positioned desk & mirrors, a strong shower and decent bedding. The communal zone was neat and stylish given the proposition. After speaking to the manager about the issues with our room we were offered a different room which was appreciated. Bigger, more comfortable bed with a far better shower. Water pressure in shower was pathetic. Truly awful. Bed small and uncomfortable. Didn't appreciate the glass bathroom door. Safety latch on door didn't work. Mouldy grout in bathroom. Mugs/glasses weren't cleaned/replaced or tea/coffee/milk replaced. Our replacement room still had a glass toilet door. Light switch for bedside lights didn't work. It did seem like the initial problems with our first room weren't unusual or unexpected to the staff... My guess would be that they don't fix the cheaper rooms hoping that guests won't bother to complain.

Breakfast was not very diverse, but the quality was otherwise good. There was only one bread available, and it was the unhealthy and boring very white toast. Room cleaning was missing and that would have made a difference for the better.

- Fermino (6/5): Hôtel calme et bien placé - Emplacement dans un quartier tranquille, proche de l’arrêt de métro South Kensington desservi par 3 lignes, dont celle qui mène directement à l’aéroport de Heathrow (LHR). Chambre confortable, même si elle présente un peu de « signes de fatigue » (fil lampes de chevets malmenés, pluie de douche entartrée, fenêtres difficiles à ouvrir, etc.). Personnel de réception aimable et disponible. Disponibilité en self service du refill des produits dans le hall. Le choix lors du petit déjeuner est restreint, ceci surtout si vous venez après 9h. Le premier jour nous avons pris le petit déjeuner à 9h30 et il n’y avait que du pain, beurre, confiture, fromage et yaourt de disponible. Les autres jours nous avons pu profiter des fruits frais et des viennoiseries. Un peu déçu du choix global pour un hôtel 4 étoiles.

- Marcelo (5/5): - El idioma muy cerrado por parte del personal, costaba un poco. Necesitan detallar más que son las cosas que ofrecen en el desayuno y/o tener más opciones en el desayuno. Tuvieron problemas con los 2 ascensores del hotel, era difícil moverse con las maletas sin los ascensores. Cuándo nos retirábamos, a las 4 am de la mañana para ir al aeropuerto, el ascensor se descompuso y tu vimos que esperar 45 minutos para que nos puedan sacar de ahí, casi perdimos nuestro vuelvo. Tuvimos que pedir Uber para poder llegar a tiempo, nos ofrecieron disculpas y nos reembolsaron lo del Uber, pero no tuvieron ningún otro tipo de atención hacia nosotros por el mal momento que pasamos.

- Charlie (1/5): A complete disappointment, no working shower, and shabby finishes made the stay utterly unacceptable - The location was good for our meetings. ⭐ 1/10 - Terrible stay. We were downgraded at short notice and the shower barely worked, just a trickle of water. My wife couldn’t even wash her hair before important business meetings. The room finishes were shabby and tired, and the hotel’s response was slow and unhelpful. Running water is a basic necessity, completely unacceptable. Requested a full refund.
